4) I have very little experience with opera and no experience with ballet.
5) Yes, I have. I preferred reading the play as opposed to watching it due to the fact that the films tend to leave out important parts and switch out parts.

I have never attended a professional drama performance but if I were to it would probably be a musical performance like Hamilton because I love Hamilton. I haven’t read a play and I don’t have any in mind that I would. I’ve never seen a musical drama, however, I do enjoy watching certain musicals. I don’t have any experience with opera or ballet. As I previously said I watched Hamilton before and I enjoyed it because it had a way of capturing my attention with the music and the story behind it and the way it just looks so majestic.

I have not attended a professional musical or drama production in quite some time. I agree with you about Hamilton! I would love to see and experience it! I’ve heard so many great things about it; it would be a pleasure. This unit is making me want to see more musicals and Broadway plays.

I have heard so many great things about the musical Hamilton. I would love to see and experience it! Wicked is another Broadway classic and musical that I have heard great reviews about and would love to see. Unfortunately, Wicked is now leaving Broadway, I believe.

I have not been able to read any plays lately. Sadly, life has been busy and I have not made the time to see a play. However, I would like to see before the semester is over and bring my child so that she can experience it at an early age like I did.

What a beautiful experience that will be once you and your child go and see a Broadway musical or play. It will be one of their best memories. It can be hard to make your way to see one especially since they can be pricey. This has inspired me to take my kids to a Broadway play as well.

1. Yes, since a kid I watched Hairspray, Rent, Grease, and seeing the Rockettes live every year for my birthday.

2. The last play I read was A Midsummer Night's Dream for the essay assignment. I did enjoy it, though it was lengthy.

3. The last Musical drama I saw was on a high school trip to see The Color Purple. It was a great experience with local performers.

4. No I've never been to the Opera or ballet but I do hope I get the chance to experience it at least once.

5. I watched A Bronx Tail the movie before the play and I have to say I enjoyed the movie better because it felt real rather than acting out a play.

I have never attended a professional drama performance but I would love to in the near future. The last play I read was Macbeth, It was a very intense and emotional for the audience. Although the way they spoke English was very different from how we speak English today. I've never seen a musical in person but I love watching musical movies such as Singing in the Rain. I have never seen an opera in person but I've watched quite a few opera's in my time. I watched the Wizard of Oz and it was pretty interesting and appealing to younger audiences.

I have had my fair share of attending professional drama performances. The last musical play I attended I believe was The Lion King. Although I knew the outcome from previously watching the movie, I really enjoyed it; the visuals were incredible.

Before this class I don't recall ever reading a playwright only watching the adaptation to one. My favorite is and always will be Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare. It is the true meaning of doing anything at the hands of love.

I have never been to a live opera show, and have only seen them on television. I would be willing to attend a live show however, it would not be my first choices in regards to professional dramatic performances.

When I was a child I attended several ballet lessons and classes. I loved ballet for it’s outfits, and overall meaning.

SAME! I haven't seen an opera in person. I've seen the one in the syllabus but I wasn't a big fan of it. I think because it was hard to understand on the computer. But I would love to see one in person. I think it might be fun to watch.

I have attended a professional drama performance. My ex used to be in a company which had a play production that I went to. The last play I read was "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare. I did enjoy reading it, the film was also interesting to watch.

I have seen a musical drama before. It was a Jukebox musical. I don't mind a musical but I would rather watch a play unfold then listen and watch a musical. I haven't ever experienced an opera or a ballet. It would be something I would try in the future.

I have watched a film/TV adaptation of a play. They can play out the plays very nicely or it can be expressed poorly. Sometimes the film could be better then the actual play but usually the plays are great and don't need a film comparison.

I've only attended two musicals so far, Annie and Cinderella on Broadway. The last play I read was Hamlet by William Shakespeare for an old English class I took. At the time that I read it, I couldn't get into this piece therefore, I didn't enjoy it as much. I have never seen a musical drama, but I heavily enjoy musicals. I wish to see more. The only experience I have with Operas is watching the Phantom of the Opera 2004 film, I do not have any experience with ballets. I have watched a film adaptation of a play, The Heathers 1988 film. I unfortunately can not compare it with the play because I've never seen it.

3. I haven't watched any kind of musical drama at the moment, but I'm interested in watching them because I've heard they're pretty. On the other hand, I would also like to watch musical dramas because music makes any type of story feel like you are living it.

4. I don't have experience with opera and ballet, but I know that ballet is a really interesting dance with a lot of movements; In other words, ballet is actually a performing art where you see the dance, costumes and music while opera has never been one that catches my attention, but it would be nice to learn about opera in dramatic works.

5. For now I don't remember having seen plays that attract me the most. I have seen some plays. What I could say about them is that they are beautiful and that they cannot be contrasted with anything. However, I know that some TV adaptations are reinterpretations of some already made story.
