Edge took the information in from his sensei and sighed. He doubted saying sorry to his opponent would work. "Soooo I guess our objectives have changed then? How are the others and is the ramen really that good from this stand?"

*Kohana was escorted back to the capital by ramen-nin and Shunketsu - the genin were allowed time to rest back in the village - and reached her distination safely, although it was far from a happy moment...her father, the feudal lord was near death...and didn't even have enough physical energy to announce anything, let alone a matter as serious as the rematch...and thus, Kohana stepped up and took on her father's responsibilities*

Kohana: I'm sure you gentlemen know exactly why you've been summoned here...
Tempurakage: I certainly do not...I don't have to be here...why, the feudal lord is sick in his bed! I demand to know why I've been summoned!
Yasuo: You scoundrel, you know perfectly well that this meeting is about our rematch
Tempurakage: rematch? what rematch? The only person that I will discuss such a matter with is the feudal lord!
Yasuo: Then you will not even pay your respects by allowing the princess to negotiate the matter?
Tempurakage: of course not...I'm sorry Kohana-hime, but you are not yet the rightful heir to the throne just yet...
Kohana: heehee...not yet, but I do have this...
*she revealed a scroll that contained details of her father's transfer of power to her, giving her basically the power of attorney...She would thus handle all negotiations until her powers were revoked...and on the bottom was her father's signature and stamp*
Kohana: now, on with negotiations...
Tempurakage: grr...very well, so be it! damn this &^%$#...my plan to keep the lord in that condition backfired on me...
Yasuo: what are the terms of the rematch?
Kohana: The rematch, which will be held in 3 days, will be 3 one-on-one battles all held at the same time in three separated arenas...3 representatives from each village will participate minus the village leaders...this is a test of which village is best, not of which leader is stronger...
Tempurakage: hahahahaha! So be it! Yasuo, you can consider this rematch decided...Last I heard, your three best nin have been injured! I agree!
Kohana: So nice of you to agree to the terms before I've finished saying them...
Tempurakage: haha...Finish your terms then, I'll agree to any of them! This will be the easiest fight my nin have ever had...against three cripples and whatnot...
Kohana: very well, you have consented to agree to the rest of the terms...now, let me continue...Killing an opponent during this match must be allowed if we are to draw out which village has the most potential...The matches must be kept within each arena...and lastly...the representatives of each village may choose to use a proxy to fight for them as long as the proxy's rank is below the representative's rank...
Tempurakage: What?! a proxy!!?!? I cannot agree to that!!
Kohana: oh I'm sorry Tempurakage-sama, but you've already agreed to the terms...meeting is adjourned...
Tempurakage: FINE! *he storms out of the room*
Yasuo: Kohana-sama...Why didn't you let leaders fight? I know I can beat him easily...
Kohana: I want all controversy over this done with...The only way to stop this is to force the nin besides the leaders to fight...
Yasuo: but you know as well as I do that the nin of Ramengakure are no match for Tempuragakure without Iva, Kita, and Miki...
Kohana: hence why I allowed proxies...
Yasuo: but what chances do our chuunin have against their jounin?!
Kohana: I didn't say anything about using Chuunin...
Yasuo: you're kidding...you want Kaida, Kinoru, and Edge to represent us!? They are but Genin!
Kohana: and being Genin, they still defeated Kita, Iva, and Miki, did they not?
Yasuo: ...
::fast forward another day::

((i'm just going to assume Kaida's back in a room, Kinoru's stuffing himself again, and Edge is umm...playing a musical instrument sweatdrop sorry if I'm forcing this down on everyone, I'm in the middle of homework, wanted a break, and decided to type it all out now since I'll be drowning in homework for the next few days...))

*Iva walks in under the drapes with her eyes closed due to exhaustion...she wouldn't have noticed Kinoru in the booth enjoying his food...there was a visible spot along her left shoulder where surgery was performed to remove the plant...the scar itself ran across most of her upper body, but clothes covered most of it up...*
Iva: Ojou-san! The same as always please! ((I'll leave the reaction to her voice up to you))

*a knock came at Kaida's door...a few seconds later, a light cough followed...*
arrow umm...somewhere where Edge is...(( sweatdrop ))
((i'm still gonna assume Edge'll be doing something with sound...))
*Miki sat down a behind a tree opposite Edge's view...She tried to listen to what Edge was doing, which proved difficult being that her hearing was near gone now and won't be recovering for quite a while...to help out what hearing she had left at the moment, small strings were wrapped around her ear and inserted a little into her ear canal((it looks something like ear buds for a mp3 player))...*

Apon hearing Iva's voice both Kinoru and Kao looked up from there food. Kinoru glared at her for a second then went back to his food, deciding it was best to just ignore her for now. Kao imediatly started growling apon seeing her, he wasn't quit as ......'forgiving' as Kinoru was..

Edge was practising with a flute while considering the last few days. He would have rathered have done research in to the culture but he would need to wait for orders from his sensei. The vibrations coming to his device gave him an indication that someone was nearby but he decided to leave it and continue to play. He was curious to know what they were still doing here but he figured they'd know soon enough.

Kaida got up out of her bed and kunai in hand she opened the door ever so slightly to peek out. "Don't you know disturbing a girl's beauty sleep can be deadly..." She was slightly peeved at being awoken, but she would deal with that later. "What is it? What do you want?"

*Iva saw Kao and was immediately energetic*
Iva: FLUFFY!! *She began her motions to tackle hug Kao, but before she got very far, sharp pains caused her to stop and she just barely avoided collapsing*
Iva: owwie! owwie! owwie! crying *sigh*...neh...onii-chan...you're name's Kinoru, right?

*Miki remained sitting there for a while...but then she decided that she may as well start talking*
Miki: your name...Edge, is it not? Would you like me to chat with some small talk and introductions first or would you like me to cut to the chase?

Kita: calm down...this time, I don't come with any antagonistic intent...I just wished to have a small chat...

Edge stopped playing for a moment to answer briefly before going back to playing again. "Personally the 'small talk' sounds like fun without the 'cutting to the chase' part." Edge continued with his thoughts.

Kao growled more at the mention of the name Fluffy. "Yeah it is" Kinoru said after swallowing a large amount of ramen "And his names Kao, not Fluffy. Call him that again, and I can't be held responsible for what he'll do to you"Kinoru said as he turned back to his ramen. He sighed slightly as he noticed her pain. He then took something out of a small pouch on his belt. It was a strange fruit "Here, eat this" He said tosing it to her "It'll help with the healing" He then turned back to his ramen Just don't ask where I got it or what it's made from he thought as he ate more Ramen

Kaida stepped aside a bit and opened the door for Kita."Come in..." Kaida was not pleased to have been woken up or to talk to Kita but she would be pleasant enough for the time being.

Iva: neh...why do you have such a technique? one that can kill your opponent at the cost of nearing death yourself? What do you fight for?

Miki: very well, I'll entertain you for a while, but the chase will come eventually...hehe...My name's Miki...and you're the first person that's been able to defeat me without sustaining an injury...You must've trained hard, huh?

Kita: Kaida...you fight rather haphazardly...you rush at your opponent...you use exploding tags within such close proximity of your own body...and yet...that works for you...I have mainly one question on my mind at the moment...why? why did you protect them so fiercely? You knew I was of a higher rank...why did you protect them with everything you had even though you knew I wasn't aiming for you?

Edge placed his flute down beside him "Sorry but I dislike talking about results of battle and how I faired due to personal reasons. Ooh well I guess you would only be interested in to the boring stuff anyway so what do I owe the pleasure." Edge wasn't interested in her approach over what she wanted but he guessed he did owe he at least the chance to talk.

Kinoru did not answer, he mearly continued to eat his ramen. Afte ra few minutes he spoke "Lets just say there's someone I need to kill at all costs" He said then turned back to his ramen, Kao had now stopped growling and looked at Kinoru concerned

Walking over to a window Kaida looked out upon the village her back turned to Kita. "Perhaps I do fight haphazardly, but if you could actually predict all of my moves would I have lasted as long as I had? I do not know if I would have, but that doesn't matter now... as for why...I fight so fiercely, because this was the path I chose to take in life. I have to do my best or else I am just fooling myself in being here. They needed protection so I am here not only because the higher up asked it of our group, but because I choose to be here. I choose to do what I feel is right. Choice... thats what defines people. I know what kind of person I am by the choices I have made... Do you know what kind of person you are?" Kaida turned just so and glanced back to Kita.

Miki: hehe...very well...I promise to talk about our culture here in Ramengakure but first, I have a favor to ask...Edge, The rematch is between 3 Ramen-nin and 3 Tempura-nin...I am supposed to be one of the representatives for my village, but with my injuries, my specialties won't work...Edge...I want you to be my proxy for the match...I want my village to win...and even though Shunketsu-san is more experienced, you were ultimately the one that defeated me...

Kinoru kept eating his ramen, nit answering for several minutes befroe answering "I'll do it. But not to learn from you, my quest is something I must do on my own." He said not turning away from his ramen
