The sound of a roaring engine was heard upon the beach as 99's motorcycle tore across the road towards the shrine in the cliffs. He didn't actually see the group engaged in their petty little fighting, but he also wasn't much inclined to care. Slumped against his back was the elf he had been told to bring back, alive, unconcious, and ready for whatever Rake had in mind for him. As he drew nearer to the shrine, he began to question how best to get in touch with Rake...whether to assume she was still willing and able to read his thoughts, like before, or if he should have a spot of fun and hunt her down himself.

Mandy, meanwhile, crossed her arms and stepped casually to Quint's side.. "Not even in episode of house.. It seems your boned.. Have any bright ideas for Staying alive?" she asked with just as little disinterest in her tone as she usually did, but perhaps she coudn't help but speak monotoneously.

"Well..." Quint stopped to think, "If I can't come up with anything in the next twenty minutes, I think I'll just grab my sister and run!" She smiled, mostly kidding around. "Seriously...don't we have someone that can conjure lots of water? I have an idea."



From the way her mouth snarled, it was plain to see that Quint was a bit tired of her bats' witticisms.

HERE's a good idea. Beat my sword to the volcanic seal... and I'll stop. Get there before the first petal and I promise, I'll stop this fun little game. I'd hurry though... the bed rock here isnt that tough to celestian steel and they've got a head start...

*Rake waved its fingers languidely, then lifted off the ground once more, heqading up the beach towards the shrine*

.: I feel you 99... well done. You just earnt your pay in exquistie manner. Meet me at the shrine :.

Once again the motorcycle roared down the beach, but this time there was no purpose other than to distance himself from his now former employer. He needed time to think.

After traversing most of the beach itself, he ground to a halt, and sat upon the bike with his gaze fixed out at sea. He sighed, and shook his head, reaching for his cell. He hit the speed dial, and waited for the man to pick up.

Evan. I'm done here. Get me the heck off this spit of worthless land.

He may return, but for now he just wanted to return home. He needed the time off of this vacation gone bad.

Silver had already jumped away from the embrace of his friend to inspect an uncertainty that had just recently befouled him. He crawled across the sandy shore to see what his little prediction had discovered with caution and a readiness to bolt back to the safety of Aonice. His paws pressed into the wet sand, dirtying his dried silver fur when he happened upon a woman who seemed to have washed up in the same manner as he just did. Silver looked on with confusion as to the coincidence of such an occurance but shrugged it off as he boldly approached her. His little, button nose sniffed the salty air around the down-faced body only to smell the sea and its foliage around her. He knelt closer to further sniff her when she suddenly groaned and began to roll over. In shock, Silver leaped slightly from the sudden movement but resumed his sniffing when her rolling stopped. Face-up, Silver continued to sniff her starting with her hand, arm, then moving closer. His face suddenly found itself in a precarious situation when the woman slowly sat up and his face buried into her sea-soaked chest.

"...myah?"

Silver merely tilted his head to the side as the girl looked down at him, querying about her current wherabouts. She certainly looked pretty despite her ragged clothing that clung and molded over her buxom figure and the rest of her being dirtied and wet. Not too mention a very soft chest.

"You're on Aonice-sama's island, myah. Pururun Island, myah."
