THIS is non-HA or FG related. It's strictly Gaiaonline!! I was thinkign about legends and fairy tales, and got inspired by some movies and cam eup with this GAIAONLINE LEGEND ORIGINAL. Hope you Enjoy.
It's called "Don't Decend."
Once upon a Promagedon.. where all peoples and races gather in Gaia to dance and frolic for a night of enchanment. A Tennyo-tenchi (Heavenly Angel maiden) Decended with her fellow flock, casting their rayment of Heavenly Drapings to the raftes to play amoung the mortals in the Heavens Room.
Following strict rules, the Tennyo danced only once with 1 person and only once, and spoke and mingled distantly with the humans. Their Heavenly Drapes were kept high and safe where no one could snatch them, for if they had, that tennyo whom the hamagoro belonged to- would be unable to fly back to heaven without it.
During the night the little tennyo found herself really enjoying the music and games, she found humans so interesting, and was often lost int thought as the song played by. It was nearly time to leave, and she'd already used up her once dance long ago. but that was the moment she met a young samurai gaian. His face obscured by mask and blue scarf, she could not figure out his face.
Disregarding heeded warnings and better judgment, the tennyo decided to dance with the young man and was swept off her feet the moment "Swing Baby" started.
Gentle and greaceful, humble yet bold, the samurai danced like no other. They danced all through the night, and lost track of time. It was then she heard the call of the sky and realized it was long since time for her to leave! Dashing about quickly the tennyo tried to find her hamagoro, the heavenly drapes that her race wore that allowed them to fly and grow wings. But her rayment was no where to be found!
Someone had taken the rayment! And with that she cried " What a fool I've been!"
Dispare nearly consumed her; when she spotted the samurai still dancing distantly in the crowd, quite fervently, dispite his tiredness. He'd chosen the more difficult melody and was putting all his remaining effort into it.
'Why is he doing that now?!' she wondered, feeling frustrated and a little betrayed. But then, as the music stopped and the people clapped, he recieved his prize... a Heavenly Draping! To which the samurai returned to the tennyo and wrapped her in it.
"Now you may return to heaven. I will not forget this night." he said, with a soft touch to her head and then a formal bow before taking his leave. It was then he'd captured her heart and the tennyo knew this, but she had to return home! With happy tears the Tennyo Tenchi flew back to the skies, leaving her newly found beloved behind.
Days passed and the Tennyo could be seen staring forlornly at the world of Gaia below, thinking about that night when she was given back her freedom by such an honorable young man. Try as she might, she could not forget him. And as each moment passed, her longing grew stronger.
When it grew too much, the Tenchi began debating the unthinkable! Decention! A forbidden and dangerous act for it stripped a tenchi of everything! Their memories, their powers.... Every day she'd pace back and forth along the outskirts of clouding, trying to gather her courage. Dispite what her attending Anteros said, " don't do it little red."... she could not stop thinking about that Samurai. She knew not his name.. or his face, but she loved him. And being of a heavenly race, such feelings were always pure..or never felt at all. She'd never love anyone else. And it was a doom she gladly accepted.
Finally, the day came when she felt she was ready, and dispite what her Anteros said;" you shall loose your wings!" and " you shall not remember anything either! That encludes your meeting with him- and then you're feelings will be al for nothing!" Still she stayed the course. Finally, with a heavy sigh, Anteros turned his back, allowing her passage...and the Tennyo fell from the sky.
To the onlookers below, a star fell, burning as it picked up speed. The tennyo feel faster and faster, the air screaming in her ears, washing away her memories of heaven and her identity. Her wings shimmered then shattered into brilliant peices of light and feathers, and still she fell faster! Her hamagoro wraped about her was torn by the wind till it finally disolved, never to grace her again...
The last thing she remembered, was seeing someone atop a clif side looking at her in awe as she streaked passed with the velocity of a comet...and then saw no more.
... months passed, and the new member of the Zen gardens was flurishing well after her recovery. No one knew where the red head came from, only that she appeared in the gardens unclothed and lost. The working mikos took her in and taught her the ways of their trade.
With no memory or name the scarlet haired girl worked happily and greatfully at the miko's shrine. Offering her services to aid in excorisms, defeating the animated, and of course the occasional call from local samurai troups to help with healing. Yet every time she raised her eyes to the sky, she felt a pang of guilt inside her heart...something important, she'd forgotten.
Then one day, as she was handing out talismen for good luck- she heard someone offering a prayer, his voice so familair. Curiously she walked to the pond where she saw a young man, dressed in samurai garment offering his outstretched arms to the sky, pleading for the safety of some distant loved one. In his hands was something soft and shimmering, a sash of cloth that glowed in the sunlight.
Then as he turned and looked at his observer, the Samurai looked shocked. One could not describ what long they stood staring at oen another. The awe, the startlment and wonder. It was the samurain who moved first. Touching her head as he had before, asking what happened, where had her whys he was here. the girl could not answer, for she could not remember. Noticing her silent and dazed expression, the samurai took the mysterious garment he hand and wrapped it around her carefully. Suddenly all her memories exploded back into her mind! The music, the lights, the clouds, the sade face of her Anteros, the sky swurlling passed her into a blackened oblivion.
Instead of answering she wrapped her arms around him and wept, happy she'd remembered him at long last. The Samurai knew it was her, the tennyo who's original robe he'd been tracking across gaia all this time since their meeting. Determined to have something to remember her by. He'd had fought to obtain the stolen relic and was prepared to return it to the sky if he could just see it's original owner one last time...
..little did he know it would be forever.
The end.
