Toso seemed a bit flat. Slow on the draw but really he was simply lost in his own thoughts. Although to say he was ignoring what was being said would be a lie. Once Jeon finished he seemed to flinch into attention. "Ah, apologies. For some odd reason, I felt as though if not for it being your daughters birthday you'd have done something reckless." Toso said as though some otherworldly force sent a shiver down his spine. Then with a casual expression, the cake would find a compromise into a three layered neopolitan ice cream cake with marzipan floral decor and cake pops while less in quantity still accentuating the cake's design, much less for the overabundance of sweets that looked messy and producing an aesthetically pleasing cake. As good as it looked hopefully the Twin-kage and Shion would know better that nothing here was edible and a bite would only result in a mouthful of ink and flavorlessness.
Toso would then remove his glasses and keep his fingers busy cleaning the lenses. Many people engaged in certain behaviors when presented with bad news and in Toso's case he coped by occupying himself with other things and thoughts seeing as very little expression ever showed on his face. "I do appreciate you telling me this kami-sama but you know as well as I, I'm not the militaristic type bloop." Toso would blow on the frames as they made a squeaky noise whilst he rubbed them clean before putting them back on to raise his head presenting the same vacant expression he always had. "Less I parade a significant enough title, I'm not what you would call the 'rallying' type bloop. My voice isn't nearly as inspirative as your own and as far as titles go its no secret that a renown chef and a senior status are all I have excluding the infamous lecherous squid many seem to think I am bloop."
Toso would sigh amidst the talk of Kagami and Sandayu's only one name really piqued his interest. "So that's the name of the offender that did anything but find redemption bloop, I'll do well to remember it bloop. Now then," Toso flicked his wrist as to the side of the table what started to form suspended in mid air was a map of Arashigakure and its neighboring regions. "While I may not be keen on the frontline offensive like the war that occurred some five years ago I can ensure proper evacuation protocol and ration distribution bloop." As he spoke areas on the map were being circled and lines along paths were being formed showing clear and concise paths of evacuation and marking locations of key interest. Simultaneously area's that were better suited for combat in wartime and area in which kites could ascertain tactical advantages for allies.
Toso folded his hands together. A deep inhale and exhale closing his eyes. An air of seriousness filling the room. "Truth be told, I'd like to avoid a war. Arashi's people are in a state of fragility. bloop. The attacks whether orchestrated by this Kagami or not has shaken them bloop. Moreover, an all out war is just what this person desires. Two weakened nations for which they can later exploit." Toso would then open his eyes and look at Jeon as intensely as he could...which was to say not very. "Moreover, Kami-sama, in regards to the Sons of Helios you mentioned. It's very much likely that ship already sailed the moment reparations of Arashi began bloop. If Kagami's desire is to weaken the nations the easiest way to do so would be consigning rebels that already despise the nation and using the cover of confusion to make it all the easier bloop. If they work the way I believe they do bloop. They already have and are implicating arashi quite possibly as we speak bloop. It is beyond likely, before any war with this Kagami. Uziogakure is going to retaliate for more than what's already being done to them. bloop."
Toso re-adjusted his glasses and looked at Shion making sure she hadn't fallen asleep, and would give a fine 'donk' if she did, before looking back at the Kage's. "All that can likely be done now is to minimize damages. There may still be members of the Sons waiting for more chaos to cover their tracks if they're dealt with before then, Uzu may lessen their counter-offensive. The next primary plan of action would be to pinpoint Uzu militant leaders and concentrate efforts in their detainment rather than focus on infantry. If we can accomplish minimum casualties we could, in turn, double our forces against the impending assault by this Kagami once everything is brought to light bloop...of course...we could, in turn, initiate an offensive now against Uziogakure and serve as allies against a group of possibly dispatched Sons claiming to be from Arashi but that's solely dependent on if that's even occurring, on top of it being highly likely we'd be considered part of the invasionary force. Ah, but listen to me bloop. I have no evidence of this Kagami manipulating Sons and plotting to frame Arashi as a scapegoat to create greater tensions and here I am spouting contingencies for baseless speculation bloop. Ah right, in regards to offensive forces and leadership while I may not consider myself a suitable candidate if that was what you were looking for might I recommend Officer Kosei or Shio-nee."

SHIONxxxxxMORI Shion found inter-village politics boring, but not just any boring. This was the kind of boring where you look at the clock after what feels like hours only to see five minutes had past, the kind of boring that has you literally blank out from reality and lose focus of your bodily awareness. It was always the same spiel. Uzu did this, so and so did that, it was all a black flag operation; none of this mattered. All she needed to know was where to point her fists. Luckily, the opportunity to do just that broke the monotony.
The Sons of Helios was a name Shion new well. From the time she was first introduced into the ranks of CORE, there had been an ongoing investigation on the organization, an investigation that she was actively a part of... at least before the whole CORE thing a few weeks back. At Toso's recommendation of sending Kenshin in to root out the sons, Shion quickly interjected, cutting the squid off before she could even hear him suggest her. "Sirs, I've been monitoring Sons' activity for months now. As far as I can tell, they've had no contact with Kogarashi... but you know, if they are a problem, I can solve it," She paused momentarily, looking around the room to both the ranking ninja before her. "Let me gather a team and root them out." The opportunity to make her mark had finally presented itself, and she was not going to throw away this shot.
__Leading a head first charge into the academy, Maric made right of the jutsu of his bloodline or rather both bloodlines. Finally! he would at least understand what he actually was after getting to this new land. Apparently the academy instructors had discovered his advanced chakra natures but had restricted his learning until he passed the graduation exam. Of course he couldn't blame them for wanting to keep their secrets until he proved he was one of their order, and in fact he commended them for it. Having such a clear set of rules made it much easier for him to know what he needed to accomplish in order to succeed. After all Rules do not exist to bind you. They exist so you know your freedoms.
First up was his light release. A combination of fire and lightning chakra which he already knew he had. The basis for all of which was an illuminated body by which to force his chakra out of. Hikariton [ Luminous Body ] It was hardly anything for him to master. After that it was the ability to sprinkle his chakra over the battlefield to cause a burning to anyone trying to use shuushin to escape. Hakuro [ Glistening Dew ] It was interesting how aggressive this light release could be but of course it should be. One must be strong to purge the wicked. Moving on Maric found he had the ability to create wings of light from his back and even to create multiple which carried him through the room. Tsubasa Hikaru [ Bright Wings ] Then at last he learned how to bend the appearance of light itself. Or at least that's what the scroll claimed he could. Maric found it hard to believe he could actually command power over the domain of his god, instead chalking it up to whatever this chakra was that these ninja use. Meimu [ Fallacy ]
Moving on once more Maric used his light powers to summon forth two clones of himself. Both looking at him he found it weird to look into his own eyes. Was he really that stern looking? Hikari Bunshin [ Light Clone ] The next jutsu he found he needed to borrow some water from the front desk. Once he done this Maric poured it onto the ground outside so that he could practice amplifying the reflected light. Suimei [ Light Shimmering on Water ] Completing this lesson the boy took a breather and fiddles with his ability to create just general blots of white light around him. Kōei [ Flicker of Light ] Taking his hand Maric also tested the ability to try and make it brighter. Seeing if he would be able to apply this effect to others and objects. Hakkaku [ Coming to Light ]
Certainly a more frightening jutsu, Maric found the ability to create hundreds of needles of light within the air above him. All being able to rain down at his command. Tenkyū [ Rain from a Cloudless Sky ] Then for the last jutsu he was able to find the effort to learn Maric created a small blob of light in his hand. A perfect reading light in the middle of the night. Gandō [ Altar Light ] Finished with is light bloodline Maric jumped right into his other. To be honest he wasn't even sure what to call it. The people here named it Uchiha but that clan name held no weight with him. He would have to make it his own somehow. The first of the jutsu created a large shield in front of him. the sturdiness of it probably would have made most knights in his homeland quiver. A soldiers wet dream. Uchiha Art: Shield of the Storm God. For the next step in his learning Maric practiced using shurikan while controlling their movements with a fine wire. Tough at first but he got it down pat. Uchiha Art: Sōshuriken no Jutsu [ Manipulated Shuriken Technique ]
Using his god's strength Maric created a orb of golden fire that he controlled by spilting apart into smaller pieces. Inceniration Style: Magatama By now he was starting to sweat as he was sure his writing skills were getting even lazier than they usually were. But he had to carry on! Throwing a pair of shurikans, Maric spat a golden fire on each of them with a disguised movement that made them look like fire balls all along. Incineration Style: Amaterasu's Blessed Breath. He only had one jutsu left to learn now and it was what allowed his to stash all kinds of weapons on his body. Perfect for creating instant throwing weapons whenever he needed. Making his first foray into lightning ninjutsu Maric found that starting with the basics were best. First up was a basic electricity training meant to use his own chakra as a defense against his own lightning jutsu. Electrical Resistance Training [ Teikou no Kuntou ] After that was one he found particularly interesting. The creation of electrical strings. It held no combat value but would serve as a valuable warning of someone in the area. Static Strings [ Seidenki Ito no Jutsu ]. Finally was the telegram flash jutsu. By sending electrical chakra along the ground Maric could have it travel to multiple allies to increase in strength. Telegram Flash [ Denpō Sekka ]
For his next set of training Maric focused on the different applications of creating a lightning bolt from his fingers. Lightning Bolt [ Rakurai no Jutsu ]. Next up was an argument of the lightning bolt in order to make it a continuous beam of chakra. Lightning Blast [ Raikou Hitofuki ]. Finally was the greatest upgrade of the jutsu ppssible. Not only would the beam be stronger, but it could shut down any who got hit directly would be shut down. Lightning Beam [ Raikou Kousen ]
Once that was finished up Maric only had one more lightning style to go. Using his chakra he created 10 electric hummingbirds that fluttered through the air. Swarm of Hummingbirds [ Hachidori no Mure ]. Next up was fire! Using his hummingbirds as projectiles Maric spit flames over all of them increasing their strength. Housenka no Jutsu [ Mythical Fire Flower Technique ]. Then at last was the flamethrower jutsu that If held long could even melt rock. Ryuuka no Jutsu [ Dragon Fire Technique ].
Almost done with his ninjutsu now Maric dropped to the basics again. Picking up the flame resistance to protect him from his own flame damage Bounetsu no Jutsu [ Flame-Resistance Technique ] and then the cinder jutsu to be able to create sparks of flame wherever he needed. Tanebi no Jutsu [ Cinder Technique ].
Next on his list was Korabo. With some simple E ranked magic Maric practiced with mixing both at the same time. D rank Korabo. With that done Maric took some of the jutsu that he just learned and mixed both. The result created a blinding golden light. C rank Korabo.
Only a few more left to learn! Taking his chakra Maric created a cloak over himself that was meant to hide himself from others more easily. Bikou Ninjutsu [ Shadowing Stealth Technique ]. The next ninjutsu was one that could strengthen the power of his ropes to bind a target. Ayatsuito no Jutsu [ String Reeling Technique ].
Speaking of ropes the next ninjutsu would allow him to nudge weakness in knots more easily and allow him to escape using chakra. A useful trick. Nawanuke no Jutsu [ Escaping Skill ]. Taking a page from his lightning ninjutsu Maric found yet another jutsu strengthened by the ppwers of others. This one allowed him to shatters barriers so that none might escape the wrath of justice. Kekkai Massatsu no Jutsu [ Barrier Shatter Technique ].
By now Maric was finished with his ninjutsu training. Or was he? When a glitter crossed his eyes as he was putting away scrolls, he couldn't help but investigate. A scroll.. to make oneself a woman? And a beautiful one at that? It was a long time before Maric moved his eyes from that page. At such a time after he made sure none were watching, he added it to his private knowledge. Oiroke no Jutsu [ Sexy Technique ].

Maric bresthed a sigh of relief as he finally completed his ninjutsu training, and with hardly breaking a sweat! Now it was time for his genjutsu! Peeking through the scrolls he picked out a couple and tossed the rest. No need to dip too much into the sibject as it was meant to bolster his abilities.
First among the litter was an illusion cast through the eyes that could make a copy of himself stab his target. A quick trick to either get an easy punch or force them to retreat. Hitoshirenu Shikaku no Jutsu [ Hidden Assassin Technique ]. Next upon his list was an illusion that could rearrange the environment around him to trick opponents. Something that could be nice espically around a cliff. Aki no Hibiki [ Echo of Autumn ]. Then finally a genjutsu that could hide things could be very useful no? Although his bloodline already did as such, this ability took it just a little step further. Kokohi no Jutsu [ False Place Technique ].
With that he was nearly finished. The last genjutsu was one of an interesting sort. It was a shuushin that hid his movement through tricky of invisibility, which Maeic discovered meant unable to see. Although it didn't protect against chakra enhanced sight that didn't matter with his blinding abilities. Kurenai's Flower Petal Escape [ Unnamed ]
Once he was finished all that he could learn here Maric bolted out the door and to the dojo to complete phase two.

Both Jeon and Jay were both listening to Tosokurui the entire time that he was speaking, but old habits were getting to them again. Short attention span meant that they had to both make a conscious effort to really dial into what was being said. Jeon scratched her head as Toso went on, as long winded as always, trying really hard not to go off on a tangent about him not thinking he had sway. Everyone knew that the Bloop-nin was more than a chef, and far more than just a lecherous old man. They wouldn't trust his opinion so much if he was such a simple being. No, he was important, and he was worth listening to. It was to that end that Jeon crossed her legs and really zeroed in on him. A rebuttal was ready, but to what end anyway. He could deny it but here he was giving his opinion.
Jay split himself away from the sister so he could listen better, sitting just beside her and leaning against his older sister. "If it came to all out war in truth, you have a partner in the 6th most destructive bijuu, where raw power is concerned. The people couldn't be any safer." Gyuki seemed to take Jay's place, eyes stalk wide for a second as he sat up and nodded. "Yeah. This is Gyuki, I wanted to have a bit of a voice as well, if only to say from one Inky being to another, I trust you and Saiken would keep people safe. Even if I think you'd make a hell of an artillery cannon." As the bloop ninja went on, the three Kage standins took in his words. The topic of the Sons of Helios was one with a lot of consideration, but thankfully Shion had her own words to add. "Alright. Toso, the favor would be wonderful if you could get that cake ready. As for you Shion. You have full reign to gather this team. I'm going to strongl recommend you take Unki with you, and be very careful. Draw up a plana dn come find me after you've done so. Sound good everyone?"
"Bloo bloo bloo. I appreciate the faith Kami-sama." He'd laugh then smirk with his slitted eyes at being referred to as an individual who could serve well as an artillerist. "I've never been one who was fond of strutting his strength bloop. Despite that, I can't deny that I've a power above many. That is indeed a power of which is a power aimed to protect as you said. bloop. Is that not right Sai-chan" Saiken would express to him in agreement through a mutual thought in thier heads. While they very well were capable of full scale destruction they both shared the ideal of voiding the unneccessary.
Toso would then stand from his inky seat or rather the inky seat aided in helping him stand as its tentacles pushed him up. "It seems we've got ourselves established. bloop. I'll do well to get your daughter's cake ready as soon as I can while preparing for the possibility of not one but two possible impending wars bloop. I've also still a promise I'm in need of keeping bloop. As soon as possible." Toso would then approach Shion. He'd place his hand on her shoulders and look at her as if she had done something wrong. Although really he seemed to be wanting something. He made what that want was clear to her when he spoke. "I've a request. On your mission, do see if you can find out anything about the bombing and death of the child at the gates. I've a notion that in some way, the Sons of Helios had some part in it bloop. I've the utmost faith in you Shio-nee."
Toso would then hug the girl momentarily and pat her on the back as if to say 'stay safe' before walking past her and raising his palm producing what appeared to be a conveyor made of arrows that stretched seemingly infinitely. "Ah Kami-sama. Do well not to do anything reckless as well bloo bloo bloo. I'll see you soon. If you've a desire to leave you can do so at any time. It may take some getting used to but you may even use this place to expedite traveling from one place to another fairly quickly. Even train. So long as you've the imagination. Bloo bloo, ride a dragon, have yourself a set of wings, fight a giant, etc. bloop. Take care." As Toso began to head out into the deeper depths of this world of his. The meeting room began to fade. They vanished as Toso ceased giving his examples. "I'll be brainstorming a bit so you've time here to do so bloop." Toso would then form a hand sign and turn into a squid. He'd lay flat on the conveyor and what sounded like a loud clunk occurred. Then like a rocket the squid launched. The length of the conveyor began to rise and swirl and loop and Toso's squid body rode it like the cart of a roller coaster. Despite his looks, and the seriousness of the situation earlier, he seemed to know how to enjoy some whimsy. Echoes of what sounded like exitement as he rode the track quickly becoming a speck. [Isekai-Junsei] is essentially a pocket dimension that can be accessed or escaped into via drawing some form of entryway in the real world i.e a door or a hole. Upon opening or entering said space one of two things will occur. A blank white location that seems to extend for miles on end or essentially a mirrored world of the current thread is produced only in black and white. Drawing another entryway in the mirrored or blank world will create a similar entryway in the real world from which to exit. The exit method isn't particularly discreet unless per say the exit was made on something hiding it or is well hidden to begin with. The world inside of [Isekai-Junsei] can then be entirely manipulated by those inhabiting it. This involves its user and any individuals who may be inside. This manifests itself in the ability to create black and white structures and objects and things from sheer imagination as though the world itself was a blank canvas. Objects made with the intent to do harm require an amount of chakra to do so of an [X]-rank and will only last [1-post] thereof and will be treated as [Spiritual] for interactions. Anything made without this malicious intent otherwise will not impart a cost. [Isekai-Junsei] can thusly emulate threads like a Dojo or Academy for appropriate reductions and also offer a place for individuals to compete without the threat of structural damage. [Isekai-Junsei] primarily functions as an excellent utility for tutelage, isolating problem targets, tactical bastion, and a safe haven. But above all else a place where creativity thrives. Yuno's party had been... something. She loved the cake and it was nice having her dad and aunt around for once. Her presents had been nice too. However the new that her dad and aunt were going out of the village on mission by themselves worried her. More so because her mother Mizuki was furious. Yuno didn't really understand it all, nobody would tell her anything. That worried her the most. Trying her best not to cry she made her way to the academy, apparently there was an open call for a mission and she intended to be on it.
SHIONxxxxxMORI It had been a good twenty or so minutes since the impromptu meeting between the Kages, Toso, and herself, but Shion didn't let a second of that time go to waste. A clone had been sent out to scatter her call to arms around the village, each flier laying out the details of the mission and Shion's location; with any hope, she could gather a few competent ninja. Moving to a more visible part of the training grounds, Shion spotted someone hadn't expected: The Kage's kid. Had she answered the notice or did she just come for a bit of casual training? Either way, it didn't matter to Shion. Changing her trajectory to make a bee line straight for the kid, Shion called out, "Hey Princess, looking to cause some trouble?"
Hiroki wandered into the Academy's training area holding a scroll in front of himself, squinting at it inscrutably. He'd been given a scroll of a few techniques that were considered fundamental to being a shinobi. It was all a bit obtuse to him, especially this Kai nonsense. Weren't Uchiha supposed to not have to do this kinda stuff? What kinda Uchiha got caught in a genjutsu that wasn't from another Uchiha? [ Kai ]
Next up was a transformation technique. This one he struggled with on a fundamental level. Perhaps it was because he inherently enjoyed the way he looked. He found it quite hard to think it all through. What did he want to be? An important question in the process of the transformation, but one that just came back with the same answer every time. Hiroki wanted to be Hiroki. Eventually he figured out how to get past that, he just didn't like it very much. [ Henge no Jutsu ]
Now the clone technique, that was something Hiroki could get behind. After all, what could be better than more Hirokis? Hiroki? What was the plural of his name anyways? Probably didn't matter. What did was that he was currently shooting the s**t with a perfect rendition of himself. Not a bad way to spend a few minutes, if he was being honest. Even if he did have to move on to something else shortly. [ Bunshin no Jutsu ]
The substitution techniques was up next. Hiroki couldn't say he disliked the idea of saving his own skin, but the explanation was a bit... odd. It didn't functionally explain how the technique worked, but somehow, when Hiroki used it, he was moved somewhere else and replaced by a piece of wood. Perhaps the sharingan would be able to deconstruct it eventually. [ Substitution Technique ]
The next two were bound to be rather annoying for the Uchiha. Wet feet abounded first, though luckily he had the foresight to take his shoes off for the process. Sure, it was a highly necessary technique in a world where enemies threw around lakes worth of water, but Hiroki hated being wet. Perhaps it was something about the Uchiha's affinity for fire. The wall walking was at least dry, but it did involve a lot of falling off the wall. Didn't take more than a couple falls from north of two feet off the ground before Hiroki was sore. It wasn't a terribly complex process, but developing a feel for it required more attention to detail than the student expected. He assumed it would become more natural over time. First up was the only Uchiha technique the village let Hiroki get his hands on. It wasn't terribly complex, just a sealing technique for kunai and other weapons. It'd be useful when he got around to bukijutsu stuff, but for now it was just a bunch of low level stuff. [ Uchiha Art: Lightning Seal ]
Flare Technique was Hiroki's first Katon. Not a particularly impressive technique, mostly meant as a distraction, but it was a starting point at the very least. It'd probably look quite intimidating in the Uchiha's black flame, but he saved that for later. [ Flare Technique ]
Veil Technique was actually similar to flare technique, except for that it allowed a bit more maneuverability. It was just a flash of light though. At the end of the day it was slightly disorienting at best. However, Hiroki had to admit it gave him a few ideas for how he might use it. [ Veil Technique ]
Next up was a technique that allowed the user to create sparks with their bare hands. It was an interesting concept, but it needed something a little bit more functional to pair with. Slightly inefficient for anything besides camping, but still a cool tool to have in the toolbox. [ Cinder Technique ]
Flame-Resistance Technique was pretty straightforward. It simply allowed him to better stand up to his own techniques, which as an Academy Student didn't really mean much, if he was being honest. It'd be hard to hurt anyone, himself included, with two of the three previous techniques he'd learned. [ Flame-Resistance Technique ]
On to the Fuuton, starting with a clone. It wasn't terribly useful, overall, but at least it wasn't just an illusion like the normal bunshin technique. A far cry from the more interesting versions, but perhaps it could be put to use in some deception. That'd have to wait for now though. [ Wind Clone ]
Wind Levitation's name alone had Hiroki excited. Unfortunately, the hopes for some cool flying technique were quickly dashed upon the rocks. This was just a way to move things around. Useful for retrieving a weapon, perhaps, or something similar, but not much else. It seemed to top out around twenty pounds. [ Wind Levitation ]
Following up a disappointing technique was something rather cool. A way to modify his sword swings. Nifty little jutsu, not likely to be vital but still cool for that time in a fight when you liked to play around with your opponent. Hiroki practiced it with a kunai in place of an actual sword. Projectile Control Technique was one of the more literal things that had been handed to Hiroki to learn. It fairly straightforwardly allowed him to redirect a thrown projectile. Perhaps it could be paired with something else to make it more powerful, because at face value it offered little in the way of usefulness when he was allowed only wooden kunai. Retrieving wind was simply a rebranding of Wind Levitation such that Hiroki had no idea why it existed. There was literally no point. The performed the same function, one was just made by a lazy person and the other was made by a person who used weapons more often. The could easily be substituted. [ Retrieving Wind Technique ]
"You could say that I suppose, though it would be more accurate to say I am looking for a real mission." she'd reply when Shion finally got closer. Yuno wasn't kidding around today, s**t at home was disturbing and the last thing she needed right now would be Kenshin breathing down her neck. Looking around to see if any others might be responding she was disappointed to see no one else had yet to arrive at the training grounds. However that might also have been an opportunity. Perhaps she was the first to respond to the call. "You know that I've fought before and I saved the bloop-nin's life, so please accept me for your mission." Her voice was steady, masking the eagerness and desire for Shion's mission.
Being an Academy Student was more of a drag than Hiroki had originally expected. Didn't help that most of the other people studying were little kids. But he could pick up another technique and then go out looking for trouble, or at least something more interesting than a scroll. [ Mischief Managed 1/2 ]
What better for some mischief than an invisibility cloak? Fortunately, the Maruton scrolls had a solution and the Academy some materials to practice with. Though calling it a technique was a bit of a stretch. It was basically just holding up a tool, and as far as Hiroki could tell it didn't require any special skills to hold a kunai or some other nonsense. He had a sneaking suspicion it wouldn't be terribly effective either, but nothing ventured nothing gained, as the people said. [ Magic Cloak of Invisibility Technique ]
And with that he was off into the rest of the Academy, looking for someone to snoop on. He found his targets quickly. Hiroki was a bit less oblivious than the children he studied with, so he'd picked up that there was some s**t going down in the village. That said, because he was with the kids, no one told anyone anything. With that in mind, he popped out that little invisibility cloak, and slowly worked his way into earshot of the two. If they wouldn't tell him anything, he could at least do some spying and figure it out himself. [ Mischief Managed 2/2 ]
SHIONxxxxxMORI Shion let out a light chuckle at Yuno's remark. Whether she could back up her claims or whether it was sheer bravado, did not matter to Shion; that level of enthusiasm was always welcomed. Being the Kage's kid also didnt hurt. Surely she'd have had some special training or what have you; rich kids usually get special treatment. We've all saved Toso's life, kiddo, but it's whatever. You're in... she'd say, taking a brief pause. "So... what do you do? Better start figuring out people's strengths now before She winds up with a random team with no synergy.
Yuno grinned when Shion said the magic words. Finally an actual mission, no more picking up trash or washing walls. As for the older girl's question well that was easy. "A little of everything really. I can use water release ninjutsu, I know some genjutsu, and I trained with a rapier under... Captain Kosei" she said with a gagging motion at the end. While she didn't specialize in any one area, she could cover the gaps in any team. After she finished speaking Yuno's eyes shifted to the side. Her trouble making senses were tingling but she couldn't quite put a finger on it.
Hiroki's little fishing expedition had earned him quite a bit of useful information about the green haired girl. Water, genjutsu and weapons. Having someone just out an out tell you what their strengths were would be a coup if he was actually gathering information for a purpose other than curiosity. The name was something he could have tracked down if he was seriously spying. Good to know the jutsu actually worked, considering it was impossible to tell from his side. [ Mischief Managed 1/2 ]
Unfortunately, while Yuno gave up plenty of information about herself, Hiroki got little in the way of information about this mission. Disappointing, to say the least, especially since the girl seemed to realize something was amiss. If Hiroki wasn't already frozen, he would have been from that point on. It was an odd sensation, because, really, there was no reason to be freaked out. This didn't seem terribly secret, just the type of thing they'd shoo him away from, but there was something in that element that changed the nature of what he was doing just enough to trigger that feeling.
