"Zaku was already taken by your people. You have no business here." she hissed. "Trust me. You don't want to play this game with me. Go about your own business.... Or shall I call your superiors about how your slacking off on their dime. How long have you been waiting... if you were here for Zaku, that was near 12 hours ago. Norcrest tax dollars at its finest. Go home." she wasn't having any of this right now. "I don't have time for lackeys that don't follow protocols and procedures." she was irritated by now. Gaia, they were annoying.

"So you want to play like that" he shook his head and glanced back at Tri then Hexxis, a flicker of a frown on his face. "You will be hearing from them" not rising further to Kae's call. Taking a step back he lifted his arm and the resat of the norcrest soldier moved back, heading toward their cars ?
Tri shivered but said nothing more, nails digging deep into the seat as he held on to Hexxis with his other arm.

Kae watched them, saying nothing more. Once they backed off, she rolled up the window and let out a deep sigh of relief. "That at least buys us some time...." she muttered. Looking to Leukos and Hexxis, she frowned. Were they dream walking like Tri mentioned? How could she wake them up.... And fast. If only she had her potions...
She tried to shake Leukos again to no avail. Dammit!
Hexxis suddenly gasped awake and began to whine, immediately crying out of fear before she realized she was even awake. When she set eyes on her surroundings, she quieted down, her emotions dulling then fading away. She looked to Tri and suddenly hugged him tightly.
Kae looked relieved that Hexxis woke up. Good. One down, one to do. They just needed to get Leukos awake.

Tri stared after the soldiers until they left out of his sight and even then continued to watch until Hexxis gasp jerked his attention down to her. She was awake! "Hexxis" he said hurriedly, hoping she stayed awake as he adjusted his arm to lift her up slightly. He watched the fading emotion with a fain frown wondering..if it wasn't to late for this version of Hexxis but even if so how? He pushed the thought form his mind to focus on the now, on Hexxis and Leukos.
"Don't fall asleep ...what do you remember dreaming?" he asked quickly as he hugged her back, relieved before looking up to Leukos then Kae. "Perhaps if you place his headphones back on and press the music..then stop it ..maybe that might help" he said remembering the way Melody ghost grabbed at his headphones to no avail.

Hexxis was disoriented and scared. Don't fall asleep....she didn't want to fall asleep to begin with....when did she fall asleep...in the car?....with Leukos. Looking over, Kae was still okay. How long ago did she fall asleep. "....I am unsure." she muttered quietly. "You left...Kae...collapsed... She sustained fatal head injury. We were going to meet you. Driving to Midena with Leukos. I thought I fell asleep... Woke up again to screaming and gunfire. I ran away. Or...I tried to. There was an explosion and I woke up here." she explained. It was obvious she didn't even know at what point she had fallen asleep.
Kae nodded and moved to Leukos to grab his headphones, carefully pulling them up over his ears and following the cord to his mp3 player. Leukos shifted uncomfortably and when Kae glanced up, there were tears in his eyes even if he was still sleeping. She turned on the music and waited for a bit first.

"....Were you still in the car?" He had checked when Val disappeared but she had not been there. "Valentin told us you died and I didn't believe it until I saw your spirit....they must have found Leukos after I left. Considering he isn't dead he was likely captured " he tried to reason this out, understanding now how dangerous it was for Leukos to dream walk at all. Then again was it a dream at all? He felt pain ..was it their spirits taken out and put into a dream like place?." I don't understand why she just didn't take Kae as well and just killed us. " he speculated as he watched Kae place the headphones over Leukos ears and waited.

Hexxis frowned. "I fell asleep in the car... and woke up on the ground between cars." she clarified. Had she been dead? She didn't know.
"Probably because she knows I am a huge threat to her." she remarked dully and was watching Leukos. After a few moments, she moved to pull the headphones off when his hand stopped her, grabbing her wrist and looking at her. Kae stared at him with analyzing look.
Leukos stared with wide eyes at Kae then to Hexxis then to Tri. A complete disbelief. "...Kae?..." his voice was weak and fragile, scared. Was this real? Had he been dreaming? There were tears welling up in his eyes.
"Kae! Leukos!!" Melody called out, running toward the car. She looked a little roughed up but was okay.
Leukos tore off his headphones and barreled out of the car to get to Melody and hugged her tightly. "...you're okay..."
Melody hugged him then frowned. She wanted to ask if he was okay, but there were more pressing matters. "Leukos, Kylar came and took Mara. I tried to stop him but I couldnt... He...he got away..." she confessed, breaking down crying as she hugged him.
Kae exited the car but stayed near Tri. "s**t. Why didn't I get a call?" she pulled out her phone and saw she had several missed messages. "....oh...damn."

Tri nodes with a frown, he was expecting a trick until the spirits appeared."You're a threat? How?" He asked watching then jerking in surprise when Leukos grabbed Kae's hand. Thank goodness. He thought quietly as Leukos tried to get reoriented."Valentin " Tri clarified, hoping he understood with that because Melody appeared.
"Mara?!" He moved to the door and stopped."Wait... he doesn't have her now..." he clenched his teeth knowing how crazy he sounded."Yet I don't know where she is if not here...."

Kae snorted, "Because I can find her and probably stab her... Pretty sure I could fight her." she then sighed. She glanced to her phone as she got and call and stepped away but kept an eye on the others just in case.
"I saw him take her, he dragged her into some portal and then tried to take Alice, but she woke up and flooded the whole damn room. I tried to collar him but he got away..." she rambled with distress.
"Melody, melody, calm down, we'll get her back." Leukos reassured.
"I'm sorry... I tried my best... but it still wasn't good enough."
"It's fine,... well, it's not fine,... but it will be. Mara is strong, We just need to find her and then get her back."

Tri frowned bit said nothing, it seemed they didn't hear him the first time and while everything else he had said has been true there was no way for him to prove it. Maybe he could returned...for a fourth time, Gaia must be tired of seeing him by now, and asking where she pushed Mara to.
He was nervous as he looked back toward the gates and silently started to untie Hexxis and himself so they could at least get out of the car. Relieved both of them were able to wake up but unsure it won't happen again.
It was also comforting to know Leukos and Melody cared for her he didn't know either of them before and truthfully had never been that certain until now.

After some minutes, Kae hung up the phone and moved over to Tri and Hexxis. "Tri... Mara called, she's near Erast.. I'll send someone to go get her. Other than that, you do know those Norcrest lackeys will be back for you. If they get your DNA, they will take you back to Norcrest to do gaia knows what.... The only thing either of us can suggest it getting out of here while you still can." she sighed, then glanced down to Hexxis. "She's at least still safe here since SIU does own her... but you're still owned by Norcrest... so it's up to you what you want to do with that information." she ran a hand through her hair and glanced to Melody and Leukos. "Hey, Mara called, she's fine. I'll be sending someone to go get her." she relayed.
Melody looked absolutely relieved at the news, starting to cry out of sheer happiness that Mara was okay. "...thank Gaia..." she muttered and took a deep breath.

Tri looked up at Kae and a look of relief crossed his face. She was fine thank Gaia. That was short lived as Kae moved on to Norcrest and another shiver ran through him, no he was not returning...not willingly at least. Still his stomach felt like it plunged to his feet as he really questioned if this was still a dream, the only difference was that he had warning and wasn't taken the moment they appeared. He didn't want to leave, not without knowing Mara was okay and even then.
He nodded slowly then tense at the mention of Hexxis. "Leave her here?" As if he was reluctant to but it was true she would be safer. Where to go though? Ree..he at least knew where he was for the moment.

Kae sighed, "That's up to you... You know the pros and cons or leaving her here or taking her with you. You're her father, so that's your decision to make."
Hexxis was grasping onto Tri's clothes idly as she watched them talking.

Tri looked at her and while he knew what she said he could only surmise she meant that she did not care if Hexxis left or stayed. While Belrad would be concern...that would be explaining him and Hexxis off.
"I'll take her " he said quietly, knowing she would just leave and get in trouble if he left her here. Silently he reached up to his neck and zapped the collar at his neck until it unlocked and everything inside was burnt. "....." he stared down at it tiredly, he wanted to stay with Mara yet he never could with Norcrest after him,

Kae watched him carefully and nodded at his decision. "I'm sorry that this didn't work out... I had a feeling it wouldn't so if you want help with hiding in a fairly safe place. Go to Midena. I have a colleague there that can keep you safe and off the radar until things cool down. I know its no Belosh... But in the area he lives, no one is going to question you two." she pulled out a piece of paper from her pocket, as if anticipating this,
and gave it to him. "Go to this address, call that number with pay phone outside the establishment. Aberdine will come get you." she instructed then smiled. "Maybe I can convince Mara to go too." she snorted. "Anyway, you better get out of here... We will just pretend you never came back." she smiled, albeit a very faint hint of sadness in her eyes.
