Since Crowma had gotten a refreshed sense of vigor, Rianon was all too happy to keep pushing forward. Unfortunately a dark door caught her eye, and it seemed vaguely familiar. Yup. Getting too close Rianon was dragged into the door again to be pinched and prodded. Yelling even more obscenities, Crowma reached a talon in to try and fish her ward out. Luckily Ri was able to just teleport herself out once more. Fixing her mussed up hair she urged Crowma to press forward. Grabbing some wires to tear on the way.

Mahmud HADILL SESHAT is fighting the HALF CONSTRUCTED TOWER, and is going UP
He should have expected it by now, really. After everything before and during this hellish trip, and all the robots he had encountered, he really should have expected no less. Yet when Mahmud opened the door, guess what popped out. If the reader's guess was "trollbots", they would be correct. If not, seriously. Where had they been this entire Meta?
"AAAAHH! AAAHH! AAAAHHH!"
Harpommy and him fought them off as usual, but at this point well... a picture is a thousand words.
If you rolled a 2, you open the third door on the right, and immediately try and close it again as a swarm of robotically enhanced bees pour out. Well, it's just three of them but with their laser sights and reloading stingers, three is enough to make these bees a swarm. Take 3 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you
Beehemoth woozily swooped around the halls, pretty dang off kilter from the zap he'd gotten not long ago. Nictor futilely tried to direct his lusus, but he wasn't having much luck. Instead, when Bee knocked against a wall when Nictor had been trying to look as Bee's face, he got knocked loose and toppled to the floor.
Nictor lay the for a moment while Bee hummed and buzzed in confusion. Where had his charge gone?
Nictor sat up and frowned up at Bee while the buzzbeast chittered gibberish. It was disconcerting to see Bee so out of sorts. Nictor hated seeing him get hurt and the buzzbeast got hurt more often than Nictor would like. Bee was always taking the damage for him whenever Nictor goofed up and upset some wild animal. No matter how close a call it was, Bee always pulled through.
Nictor swayed to his feet, feeling tired. This building was exhausting.
Nictor leaned on the hall to steady himself, but instead his hand slipped on something and the wall he'd leaned on swung away from him.
Now, growing up with a fluffy buzzbeast lusus, Nictor was quite familiar with Bee's language of hums and clicks and often used it himself. Bee's particular voice always relaxed Nictor, having raised him and always been there. Bee's voice came with the rumble of his body, the encompassing warmth of his fluff, protection and love.
The buzz Nictor was hearing, feeling vibrate in his hands and face, was wrong. So so wrong. The mechanical and static tenor of it set his teeth on edge. Swarming and flashing in his vision were bee's decked in lasers as their voices overwhelmed him. Nictor only took a moment to register it all and was jolting to his feet, pulling the door closed as fast as he could. That was an angry swarm, those were bees calling for death with no purpose but to attack, mindless drones.
Well, the door was shut, but a few made it out and were now furiously inspecting Nictor, unsure for a moment. They had been ordered to attack trolls and lusii, but the pollen on him was a little distracting.
Bee whirled around at the sounds of buzzing. Considering the death chant the laser bees were emitting, Bee was understandably upset and quickly swooped down, crashing through the burning lasers to squish the bees against the wall.
Of course, this didn't much help Bee's disorientation, and so a few minutes were spent with Nictor soothing the buzzbeast until he righted himself.

Caiden is attacking Half-constructed Tower and going right If you rolled a 5, you open the second door on the right and see a small cupboard, with a laser grid blocking access to the computer monitor inside, where a program is running. Wriggling your arm through a hole in the grid and bearing the burns, you can get close enough to bash on the screen until it breaks, and the fake wall ahead of you recedes back into the ceiling. Success! Take 3 dmg and deal +2 damage. Hp:3/20 Damage Dealt: 8 Power Novice Agility A 0/1 Second Wind 1/1 you roll 1d4, if you get a 1 or a 4, you get half health back
Caiden marched on with confidence. I mean, with all these trolls here there was no way they could be going the wrong way. The brownblood nodded to himself. He was not gonna let any negative thoughts get him down. The cool tealblood and the stoic greenblood were with him, they were like heros. And Caiden knew nothing bad ever happened to a hero. Bad things, Caiden didn't want think about bad things. So back to the song! "One little troll Went out one day Over the hill and far away Mother lusus said "Squeak, growl, bark." But none of the five little trolls came back."
She didn't know if the salve really did the trick. Her wounds were healing a bit better, amazingly enough. Luxara was back in the game. She could consider stuff later. Luxara gunned after her group. They'd make it! Heck! Yeah! Barely even a pause upon seeing the next dead-end. More doors, and trolls weren't turning away. Another fake-out, she guessed. Luxara went to the right door, the one Forera had gotten once, she believed? And opened it. Something immediately smacked her in the face, making her fall back, but after wiping it out, she got to unplug the damn thing and get the opening. Nice!
Some dummy had let out some bees. Luxara stomped them down, quick work, just leftovers. Nothing important. She was excited she was stomping, really. The greenblood hated being tired. Especially when her friends were getting hurt in the meantime. Being incapable like that made her feel pretty pathetic. She knew these two for sweeps, and had to prove that she was still there. And she was, but like, dang. Wasn't this tired in OHC, or running from the royalists. Is this what happened when a troll got old? Eugh. Maybe she could ask Vremea about it sometime. All the other trolls in the swamp were a little too intimidating.

ROUND 12
As you step out into an unfinished section, the wind hits you and makes you take a step back. You're high up now, and can see clearly to the edges of the horizon, with the city stretched out far below. In the sky, the moons hang like two large round rocks floating in a void. If this tower gets built, you might be able to walk on them some day soon.
All trolls who have used their previous second wind(s) gain another.

Boss Attack
As you walk down the hall, the ceiling above you begins to lower. Not only above you - but in front and behind of you as well. As you rush forwards, grills slide up infront and behind of you, blocking you from progressing further down the hall!
If you rolled a 1, you panic and grab the bars of the grill, shaking them frantically. At the last moment, one snaps and you claw your way between them. One of your legs gets caught between the lowering ceiling and the floor, and you're only able to get free by slipping out of your shoe. Take 3 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 2, you remember how fragile the previous traps have been, and begin to tear apart the walls and floor in search of circuits to destroy. All you seem to find is unrelated power cords that give you nasty shocks, and you end up having to squeeze through a hole in the grill, torn open by another troll fleeing the trap. Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 3, you test how strong the ceiling is by bracing your back and shoulders against it when it gets low enough, and pushing back. The ceiling rumbles, creaks, pops, and eventually stops pushing down on you, but not before giving you the backache of the century.Take 2 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 4, you wait till the ceiling is close enough, then tug and tear at it with your weapon and hand, pulling them back to reveal the inner workings. These you violently destroy, until the pannel above you shivers into stillness, and the grill ahead of you flops down. Take 1 dmg, and 1 damage each roll after until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 5, you run to one end of the penned-in cage, then charge at the grill on the other end, sending it popping out of the floor, and you tumbling into a safe stretch of the hall. Take 2 dmg.
If you rolled a 6, you hurry over to the grill and shove either your weapon, or any old piece of metal in between it and the floor, levering it out with a pop. Talk about shoddy construction. You continue quickly down the hallway as the ceiling slams into the floor behind you. Take 1 dmg.
"Ngh." Rubbing at her head, the girl rubbed at her face. Something wet woke her. Opening her eyes, she was greeted by the sight of Scuttle in front of her. Kissing her cheek, he called out her name again.
"Scuttle, I-" The two of them cried in relief. Her, for waking from that nightmare and him for seeing that she was still alive. When the girl'd stopped moving, his heart had froze in fear. While she was a bit gloomy and shy, she was his child and he loved her. He never wanted anything to hurt her and it would destroy him to lose her. Nuzzling her with his face, the lusus cooed comfortingly to her.
"It was awful- I dreamed everyone died! Because I was too scared to stand up and help. In the end, I was alone." Hugging her father, Tevini sobbed once more. She cried for the deaths she'd dreamed and for the ones she would not be able to save in the future. If this experience had taught her anything, it was that they had no guarantees. The bomb was still ticking and everyone was still out there looking for it. Cerpin... she didn't know if he was dead or alive.
But she knew one thing. She couldn't stop here.
"Thank you, Scuttle." He was always there to keep her grounded, to remind her things were okay. Now it was her turn to comfort and save him.
Mahmud HADILL SESHAT is fighting the HALF CONSTRUCTED TOWER, and is going LEFT
For real, some of this tower's facilities and installations were bordering on ridiculous. Who thought "Hey, here's a lovely idea, have you ever seen Alternia Jones and the Raiders of the Missing Gold Doohicky? Lets make a room dedicated in memory of that movie!". Someone had to have, because here was a boy and his bird mom running for their gogdarned lives in a room slowly closing in on them. And no, that wasn't a metaphorical walls closing in. They weren't that claustrophobic yet. This was a literal "the walls were trying to compact them like garbage" closing in.
Mahmud managed to escape just in time with Ommy, with only one casualty: his construction boot. The sound of it squishing away would haunt him later on, but for now they had no choice but to keep walking sans one shoe.
He thought about bothering her again, now that they had rested. But resting against her, hearing her pumpbiscuit beat out a fine rhythm, scary and comforting all at once, he noticed she was still bleeding. Slow, and enough that she would live, but enough that he couldn't. He couldn't ask her to keep going, to risk herself for his own selfish desires. He wasn't in any shape to continue on himself, he decided.
Poe sat, encompassed by his lusus, breathing in the sweet musk of her wool. He hoped for the best, and closed his eyes. Good night, sweet Poe-rince, he thought to himself. Mahmud would have liked that joke.

Leeroi's senses slowly faded back to him. First was his sight, then his hearing as a faint ringing in his spongeclots. Then, he tasted the blood in his mouth. He bit his own tongue in the collapse. Of course, he grimaced, spitting out the blood.
Wearily, he looked around for other trolls. He felt so lonely, left behind now. Frowning, he searched at least for a trail of his teammates. Kolako— Kolako was still here. Her lusus was shielding her from harm. Perhaps they needed the rest. She was only a child, and Leeroi... he had to be the hero. "I've got to go, Kolako. Stay safe!" He shouted, running off towards the trail blazed by the other mass of trolls.

He'd taken stock of the facts. Blossmom was unconscious and bleeding badly. Cerpin ripped his jacket off of himself and tried to put pressure on the wounds. It didn't do much to soak up the blood on the floor but it stabilized the lusus for now. At least, the young highblood hoped his father wasn't going to die. Next he needed to get away from the bots down the corridor. If he stayed close to them, they'd notice anything he did and attack again. Taking in a deep breath, the troll grimaced at what was to come. This was going to be really really bad.
"Aghhhh! s**t, it hurts!" Trembling arms tried to pull himself upright. Every movement burned like hell on his back where he'd been expertly branded by a laser grid. It made twisting or turning his upper body incredibly painful. Blossmom had taken the brunt of the tower's damage but Cerpin had not gotten through unscathed. He was growing taller and bigger now. The boy had to fight some of his own battles.
This one he was going to lose. Slumping back to the ground, he hissed in pain and opted to push his way across the room, smearing a trail of purple behind himself and Blossmom as they slowly made their way to a corner. At least here, they'd be safe out of sight of the bots while they recovered.
Gog, he hoped she was okay. Hopefully she had the intelligence to forget about him and save herself. He'd heard the intercom earlier. Angry hands balled into fists at the situation he was in. There was a bomb ticking away in this building and he could not summon the strength to stand. The odds weren't looking good.
After the tiles, he rounded a corner and decided to stay at the intersection. A look at the older trolls said all he needed to convey. She was with him, and she was tired. Some rest was needed, especially for a child. Especially for Koko. He nudged her lightly. She'd been hurt, so hurt, for so long. He needed to be more careful, for her sake. He needed to take care of her better. He needed to protect her more.
