Neovi landed flat on her face, because of course she'd been a little overeager with that lunge, and was at once aware that her hands were very very empty. She lifted her head and cracked open an eye to stare at the slime sitting safely just beyond her fingertips. "I bet you think you're very clever," she started, propping her chin up with one hand, and then she laughed again. "And I guess you probably are for a little familiar. I'm still going to get you eventually though!"

This was a nightmare. An absolute nightmare. Nothing could be worse than this. Celedrin stood with his back pressed to the classroom wall, eye-balling the approaching slime with trepidation as it cooed and inched towards him. It left a wet trail behind it, shimmering alien-like under the lights, that seemed to bubble and fizz. Celedrin wondered if it was toxic. The slime sent a gooey tendril towards him and he flinched away, stepping around the corner by the blackboard. It probably was. Acidic at the very least. A hasty deduction to be sure, but who was going to check? Certainly not him, thank-you-very-much. Celedrin snatched up a yard stick from beside the blackboard. He jabbed the end of it towards the advancing slime. “Back... back!” As if it understood what he was saying... Still, the creature (if it could even be called that) appeared to dislike the prodding. It retreated a short distance. Celedrin gave another forceful thrust, confidence boosted. “I'm warning you,” he said, brandishing the yard stick like a rapier. “If you don't settle down this will be very unpleasant for...”He was cut short with a gasp, as the slime launched itself towards him. Abandoning his weapon, Celedrin jumped to the side. The slime hit the wall, slid down and pooled on the floor. It would have been the perfect opportunity to capture it, but Celedrin was too unnerved. Instead, as it slouched for another attack, he booked it for the door. A moment later, he burst outside the classroom.

Neovi pushed herself back up onto her feet, smoothing out her skirt, and then hummed thoughtfully as she glanced around the hallway for her next target. So far it seemed simple swiping and diving weren't good enough to catch these particular creatures, so she was going to need the perfect plan, and that started with the...perfect...What was that? Easily distracted yet again, the fey's head turned to regard the closest classroom door, where the muffled sound had come from.
There were people helping out all over, so it would have made sense if it was just someone else chasing a slime, but maybe she should just check, to be sure whoever it was was okay in there! She'd just taken a curious step towards the doorway when it abruptly swung open and then there was an imp barrelling through and-
Yelping, she threw herself backwards in desperate attempt to avoid what seemed an inevitable collision, wings spreading to counterbalance the motion and keep her upright. She lifted a hand to her chest, fingers splayed half protectively over her flower, and tried to slow her heartbeat down a fraction before turning her attention back fully to the imp that had caused the scare in the first place.
"What's the hurry, huh? You nearly bopped me right in the nose!" A slime bounced up beside her, its shape oddly fey-like with its little wings, and cooed its own little 'ooooooo' as it fell back to the floor.

   Taegan snorted as they slipped on another slime trail, this time landing flat on their butt. They laughed and lunged to one side to try and grab a slime, pretty sure they were going to miss it.Bibiana stood still in the middle of the hallway; maybe if she didn't move at all, one of them would land on her or something. It was worth a try, anyway!Lestari scowled at all these things. She kinda wanted one but she wasn't sure it was worth the effort. And then another one slammed in to her back. "Hey! Come back here, you!"

Celedrin had hardly burst through the door when he ran into trouble—or at the very least a troubled looking fey. Trying maintain some semblance of composure, he snapped the door shut behind him and babbled out a stiff apology. “Good evening. Terribly sorry about that. Wasn't quite looking where I was going. Of course, I couldn't know you were there in the first place. Can't really see through a door now, can I? Ha-ha...! Probably should watch where you're standing with all this mess. Never know what might happen next, eh? Well, nevermind. Ooo!”Mid-ramble, Celedrin heard a faint squelch and let out a squeal. His gaze momentarily flickered downward, and he saw pooling beneath the door a familiar slimy substance. For the love of... It was coming after him. Unbelievable. As he returned his gaze to the fey, he noticed that she had her own pursuer, if it could even be called that. It seemed content to bounce along behind him. Even so, each time it landed, he heard a distinct splat. Resisting the urge to shudder, Celedrin leaned back into the door. “It was ah... very nice meeting you,” he continued, speaking even faster than before. “Apologies again. I should probably dash... quick-like. Good evening!” With that, Celedrin turned to make his daring escape. He failed to realise however, that his own slime had inched beneath the door and formed around his feet. He fell spectacularly. &KitsuneAura Since I'll be at work all day tomorrow, you can have Neovi leave! Otherwise I'll respond sometime late tomorrow night.

 Falan was startled to see the slime cross their path and tried to catch it, only to slip and fall on their side. They groaned, and then sighed. They wouldn't give up, but today it seemed they wouldn't be lucky enough to catch one.

The tiny dryad freshling tried to grab an oncoming slime, but tripped over some goop that another had made while sliding along the floor. She stumbled to the ground and tears welled up in her eyes, but she didn't get up to go after another. Dang it -- she was so close. Ah, well. Next time, she'd have better luck.

 That slime was a fast one! Both it and Naosu seemed to be giggling as the fey chased it until with a leap and a tackle she caught it in her arms! "Naosu has caught you!" She exclaimed happily and snuggled her new acquisition.

 One ran around the corner, but she couldn't catch up! So much for gym class? Maybe she should start running laps after class if she couldn't keep up with a ball of slime. It was rather sad on her part... Nope nope nope. They were too hard to capture. The profs could handle this themselves... Well, until the little litch was caught and was sent back onto the hunt. Why did she have to go through this? She was so ready to go back to her dorm. Screw this. She was going to have to go shopping after this. Retail therapy for the win.

"How am I supposed to catch these things?" she asked as she chased one down. It was a slippery little thing, and she could swear that it was laughing at her. This was the last thing she needed after that... er, those biology midterms.Maybe not catching it was the solution? She sat there for awhile, hoping that it would come, but another teacher came and sent her on her way. Great. Just ruin my plan, why don't ya.Maybe she could hit up the cafeteria if this kept up. Though she could possibly get some overtime for this.. hmm... Cara didn't really have the best ethics for a teacher...

"Come on out little slimes~" She couldn't help but feel like this wasn't going to go well....The giggles continued to echo down the hallways and in the classrooms, even in the gardens. They seemed endless and it was kinda creeping out Rica.This was terrible. She didn't feel like going on a full scale hunt, but the more she looked, the more she wanted one or three of them. It didn't help that the teachers were ruining her plans though!So the cafeteria was closed on account of slimemageddon. Great. Now what was she going to do while this continued on? Starve? She could leave, but that would compromise her possible extra income.

So she wasn't successful that time, but hey, maybe she could figure out a new tactic. Rica ran off to her dorm, hoping for a treat or eight to lure them in. Surely if the stomach was the way to the heart, it would work for slimes... did slimes even have hearts?
"HA. GOT YOU." Kuchena grinned as she picked up the little slime. It slowly gave her a wide grin. She took that as an acknowledgement of defeat.
Cara roamed the halls with her hands in her pocket. Who said that this was going to be easy. They wouldn't be paying more otherwise.... Well, maybe. she wasn't quite sure.

Rica was back and ready to fight... Or at least to catch some slimes. This was bound to work, right?
Cara's grumbling must have attracted a rogue slime. She swiftly picked it up with a grin. "You're coming with me now, little one. Hope you don't mind children pulling at your ears." She was teasing of course, but hey, she had went through the trouble of catching one. She might was well scare it a little, playfully though.
Yes, slime hunting. This was sure to be a misadventure in and of itself. Torie rolled up her sleeves. This was going to be a nice exercise in seeing how well she could catch slippery things, especially with the kids coming.

Well, they didn't seem to like fruits, but maybe they would appreciate some sweets? She was all about ready to go fishing to try and capture some slimes. It was just getting harder and harder to come up with capture methods for the little booger babies.
"Ooof!" that didn't feel nice. Her knee was throbbing as she pushed herself up. But she brushed herself off and puffed out her chest. She would succeed!
Why did this have to happen on the day he had classes? Why was this a mandatory thing? Kamryn continued to ask himself these things as he roamed the hallways.

So sweets didn't work out too well either. Hmmm, maybe she would regroup and try to sort this out.
Nope, it slipped right through her fingers! Hopefully kids wouldn't be this slippery!
"Come here you!" Kamryn tried to catch up with the slime down the hall, but as he turned the corner it was gone. What the heck??
