Kanika was done and tired, this dream had been interesting but she wanted it to be gone. Her mothers hadn’t raised her in such a lavish manner so she felt quite a disconnect with decisions that needed to be made. So when the advisor put a suggestion forward she let him do as he pleased.

Alassiel HP: 7 hp
Alassiel was not greedy, when the adviser proposed something that would make her people love her more she let him do his thing. Why not? She didn’t care if she didn’t receive any glory from it, as long as the people were safe and happy that’s all that mattered.]
Damissan could not strike at his own mother. But nor could he watch and sit idly by as she struck at him, either. He wouldn’t allow himself to be killed over this insanity—and so he continued to argue, to plead, and finally to shout in desperation. She couldn’t do this, she couldn’t insist on hearing nothing he said when he was born to her, and yet his patience for arguing with someone so wildly disconnected from reality was limited and he needed her to hear him—
It reached, at some point, a sort of tipping in the situation. As abruptly as it all began, his mother paused, leaving him to draw ragged breath as he, too, took a staggered step back, and of all things, she looked confused. Damis frowned, gaze snapping around to the rest of the battlefield as though suddenly uncertain of his surroundings, but no, it was all still here. No sooner did he look back to her, though, and open his mouth to say, “Can you see me n—?” than she was vanishing into smoke.
Damissan’s heart stuttered in his chest, an entirely different variety of panic adding to the rhythm because that couldn’t be right. When the rest of the scene followed, smoke again rolling in like a fog, he frowned, but made no effort to avoid it, exhausted from his previous efforts and left with little more than a knot of puzzled uncertainty. When they drew heavy, he let his eyes shut.
He opened them again to find himself atop a bed, and blinked. As he looked about, rising sunlight lit up his surroundings: lavish sheets, pillows, and decorative furniture, ornaments and resplendent fabrics hung to accentuate the aesthetic—all of the display of wealth much like his home but more so to the point of befitting royalty. When he pushed up further to a sit, his bedroom door opened, earning raised eyebrows on his part. Since when could someone just walk into his—?
This person, however, clearly had immediate business to list off, and — under the sudden impression that they did have reason to be in his quarters after all, apparently — he did his best to listen and keep track. An impossible task, it seemed, but he got enough of the gist of it to feel more assured of himself as he dressed. There was a great lot to take in, but he could manage it once he settled more.
Certainly, he had never imagined himself actually taking on a royal position—or, never in anything but jest and personal fancy—but here, now that he was, it seemed a natural task. Through the help of his council, he felt capable and confident that those decisions he passed down were for the best. His people seemed to agree, and he basked in the attention, relishing in it. Surely, there was no better place to be.
When, on a fateful day his advisor approached him with a concept for bettering his nation, Damissan listened. An alliance, he proposed, with a neighboring sovereign with whom they had been — if not fully at odds with — on unstable ground for some time. The plan, though, was artfully crafted, making use of familiar contacts and ambassadors who had made contact both ways, and building on the bridges they did have. It was, for perhaps a moment, tempting to implement the idea himself. Now that he understood it, it made perfect sense, and he even had close personal connections with many of those mentioned. He might even be capable of managing it better, given his status and the power of his influence.
But that, in the end, felt — if nothing else — wrong.
So, he gave the go-ahead, approving the plan and giving credit where it seemed most due, but keeping tabs on the situation just the same. As promising as it all sounded, there was no telling how something might go wrong, and it simply seemed best to remain vigilant. If all worked out for the best, his people would continue to be happy, and could surely appreciate that he was making best efforts to keep the nation moving in a positive direction towards sustainable peace and prosperity.

|| Naqenni ❋ || Post: 8 || HP: 3
The moment her arrow left its string, everyone vanished.
Naqenni blinked, disoriented, and stared into the emptiness in confusion. There had been armies here, moments before, and her eyes narrowed, though the rage in her waned in face of confusion. What was going on…? When a hand touched her shoulder, she whipped about, another arrow nocked and—
‘Alright?’
What did this absurd, alien woman mean. ‘Alright.’ Naqenni sneered and opened her mouth to demand answers. But before she could, smoke rolled in, and she bristled instead, tensing. Where did things things continue to come from. Again, lethargy hit her, and again, she fought it—but to no avail. Her eyes were shutting, the world fading.
She woke to sunshine, and something absurdly soft beneath her. In a moment, her eyes were wide, and then narrowed again to slits as they darted about the room in deep suspicion. This looked like nothing she’d ever known. Beautiful, in a way, and clearly extravagant, but who had brought her here, and why—?
When she pushed to a sit on her ‘bed’, a door at the far side of the lavish room opened, and her shoulders went rigid. “Who—?” she began to demand, but the person, whoever they were, began listing off a great array of things, and — in spite of herself — Naqenni found herself listening, eyes still squinted with suspicion, but posture relaxing as she came to realize she was in charge here.
And that, alienness aside, seemed worth appreciating.
This person, then, must be a servant. They certainly had a great lot to say for a servant, but after she dressed—wait, no, surely she couldn’t be expected to wear that much—
She voiced prompt, and rigidly unmoving objections to the initially selected wardrobe, and they spent half the morning addressing that issue until she came upon something she could live with. After that point, the business of being a queen progressed forward, and she found that, if nothing else, her great many servants at least made the process smoother—even if she certainly didn’t need their help, it was in the end welcome enough. And to great success, besides.
Of course, she was greatly adored by her subjects. She found, though, that in the end she was most comfortable with the management of her daily duties as an authority. The actual doing of things rather than enamouring the crowds. While she appreciated the attention, there seemed to be a distinct, unanticipated (fairly or not) difference between the conquering process, and that of wooing people which—distinctly did not feel like her art. Despite all, however, her dedication seemed to bring prosperity, and she settled to the task.
When then, one day, the head of her servants approached her, speaking of a new idea to take the nation on, Naqenni was wary. It sounded as though it had great potential, on the surface. The concept of change, however, when she was already in a favorable position and her subjects were adoring her, seemed unnecessary at best. There was always great risk in change, and underneath it all was the possibility of either the servant taking full credit for the engagement and stirring up more favor than they needed, or — if things went afoul — her being blamed.
Despite its promise, Naqenni shook her head, declining to give approval. There was simply too much risk, and she was not in any position to find it worth it.

Edathe HP - 11 (-4) = 7!
The world faded to black around her and she felt the pressure in her head building. When it finally lifted she was in a bed, but it wasn't her bed. She rubbed her eyes and before she could process anything else someone was bursting through her door and talking at her about all of these things she needed to do.
She furrowed her brow, but tried to go along with whatever it was that was happening. Walking into a great hall she was greeted by all these people... and they all loved her. She was so famous, she was called to from all sides. She smiled and waved to her people, enjoying the attention before she was called away for more business. Her advisor had an idea... and it was such a good idea. She knew that if she did it that they would all just love her more... but that was so wrong. She shook her head. Of course the advisor would be able to go ahead with the idea himself. She would back him up completely.

Vaena HP - 9 (-0) = 9!
Vaena swung out, but the field and her mother vanished in a puff of smoke. She was surround by black and she realized what it was she had prepared herself to do. She grimaced. She didn't enjoy that her head had played tricks on her, but she knew that it was going to be alright.
When she opened her eyes everything was disorienting. She was in a bed, a very plush comfortable bed. There were lavish things all around her and as she rose to inspect them someone barged into her room. He began sputtering things about her duties, what she was to do that day, and whatever other nonsense was coming from his mouth and Vaena crossed her arms. Who was he to boss her around?
Apparently her advisor.
He pitched his idea to her and she tilted her head. It was a solid idea, good advice... but she wouldn't have it. Not if she wasn't going to be getting credit for it.

Mirin HP - 3 (-2) = 1!
Mirin screamed out, her anger rising. Her brother wasn't stopping, he just kept coming at her. She yelled and in an instance - he was gone. She jerked back, what was happening? But she could feel herself getting pulled back, and when she blinked she was suddenly in a bed.
She shook her head, sitting up before abruptly jumping out of it. Where was she? She was in a palace. Her face lit up with the realization when someone burst through her doors and started rambling something about her duties to her country. She practically ran through the doors and greeted her people, they all loved her. She beamed and waved, loving every second of it before her advisor called her back. Oh yeah, right, she had things to do.
He pitched her an idea, and boy was it an idea. She knew right away that it would be a good call to make... but it could be her call. Mirin thought about it before she sent her advisor away, telling him she would think about what he said.

Kian - 10 HP
Even as Patience's hand touched his shoulder, Kian felt himself shaking from the overwhelming guilt. Had he nearly unleashed his wrath on her? Perhaps I truly am a monster... Yet, hadn't he attacked for her benefit? What if this hadn't been a dream and something had gone horribly wrong?
His body felt so heavy and his eyes started to close. Again? As Kian fell backwards into darkness he just had to wonder what was in store for him next....
Squinting against the sudden daylight Kian rolled over in his bed. Was this really his room? He hadn't had a room of his own in years, yet everything screamed it belonged to him. He owned all of this. Draping his robes across his body, Kian walked away from the lavish room and towards the hallway. An adviser, his adviser, was approaching. A fog seemed to flicker through his mind, why would he have an adviser?
Obviously these lands are mine...
Dream or not he felt as if everything around him was its own reality. If he owned these people and they praised and loved him then surely he was a true king. Smirking, Kian enjoyed himself before the adviser approached with more ideas. Obviously they would be beneficial, but what was the point of an adviser save to serve his king? As he dismissed his adviser the male strode across the room with a wicked grin. This will all be useful, in my name of course...

Nadiya - 14 HP
"STOP IT!!! JUST STOP!!!" Her voice ringing out like sharp chimes against the clashes of swords around them, Nadiya felt her face flush. Here she was standing in a sea of fighters and just yelling at her brother. He wasn't even listening to her either...
In her shame and sorrow the smoke rose.
I'm a queen? Nadiya bounced eagerly on the balls of her feet. This was her kingdom and she was a ruler! Everyone loved her and she relished in their love. It was so nice to be admired like this. Almost like I'm a god... Nadiya's cheeks flushed lightly as she looked back to her adviser.
"Changes?" The Matori raised a questioning eyebrow., "I don't think that seems like the best plan currently." She shrugged lightly. Perhaps it was a bit of fear that her adviser could change the country and take her fame, but the girl honestly felt that everything was fine as was.
Why change something if it wasn't broken?
At the thought Nadiya smiled before waving to her people. Oh how they loved her~! She definitely wasn't willing to let that change. Not when everything was going so well...

Shadiya 4 HP
She just couldn't fight him. Closing her eyes against the pain, Shadiya tumbled to the ground. Darkness swallowed her in a warm embrace as she faded away from this reality towards the next...
The subtle shift was apparent as she woke up in a lavish bed. Everything gleamed around her and the girl felt her heart stop. Was she back home in her own bed? Even this seemed a bit extreme for the luxuries that she had in Oba. Yet, the colors screamed that she was back in her home country. Those shades of gold and scarlet...they were her's.
As she walked through the ornate hallways, almost as if in a daze, the young Oban stopped at the sight of someone. "Hello?" Her words echoed out through the marbled walls, but as the man turned towards her the girl blinked. She knew him, right? Wasn't he...her adviser?
"My Queen."
Appearing dazed Shadiya allowed him to lead her around. These were her people cheering for her and this was her country...she ruled here and everything was happy and peaceful. They all loved her, even worshiped her. A small smile flickered across her features at the thought...
"This plan will help everyone, don't you think?"
Shadiya nodded towards her adviser, but a small frown decorated her features. What if giving this project her approval stole away her spotlight? She did adore the love and attention and life was going so well...yet the thought of how this plan could help thousands softened her heart. Fame was nice, but she couldn't steal such plans. "Alright, let's do it." She just hoped that her adviser was true at heart and that her decision would truly help everyone.
Peace and prosperity was far worth more than her own vanities after all...

Mosi's attack met thin air and the girl stumbled forward, a small frown on her face. Surely she wasn't that bad of a fighter? Her anger was gone, in fact, she barely recalled what she had been angry about now that her sister was no longer there, and she was so tired. The world was still, and she saw no reason not to rest.
When she awoke again, she was queen. It was how it had always been, Omrik by her side and her people bowing at her feet. Her advisor even had a plan that he wanted to speak with her about today. She granted Omrik a private audience, listening to his proposal while a servant fed her grapes. It was a lovely thought, helpful and smart, and she had no desire to steal the rewards he would receive for putting it into place. Mosi granted him permission to proceed, smiling as he kissed her hand. She had all she needed right here. She could spare a little happiness.
