There seemed to be a lot of blood loss victims in the ward. Unfortunately, Quillan didn't have the water necessary to treat the wound and was completely helpless as he watched his patient die. Trying to supress the grief he felt for not being able to treat someone, he rushed to the next patient.

All he could do for her was hold her hand as she rapidly bled out. The knight was beyond saving; she spoke, gasping, in nonsensical phrases and words that were not words. And when she finally stopped, Horace smoothed a hand down her brow, closing her eyes. With a shaking breath, he stood.

Next up was a patient with a really nasty looking leg infection. Quillan had to take a deep breath before treating the patient's leg with alcohol, fearing that he might throw up at any moment looking at it. Once he'd done that, he wrapped up the leg as fast as possible with bindings to keep it from getting infected again. Hopefully, the knight would be able to stand again because that was kind of imporatnt to being a knight.

Still beat red, Shayne just nod at the guy. He doesn't even know what to say, but a thank you. He doesn't know if he knew her before when he joined the Knight in training let along in some types of relationship. "I really don't know. However, I do believe we aren't in any relationship." Shayne finally answered and he got to his feet. "After all, she seemed more upper class than myself. However, I believe I did know her before I join the knight in training." He added as his painting in his bag keep crossing his mind.

There was too much blood, and beneath the clutch of the man's arms things were visible in his belly that shouldn't be visible. There wasn't anything Noah could do for him except kneel beside him, a hand on his shoulder, until the man's eyes went blank and he slid sideways down the wall. What were they going to do with all the bodies?
"It's bad," he said to someone, another knight-apprentice who was hunting through the debris for usable things. "It's bad out there."

Of the patients Quillan could see, someone seemed to be already treating them so he decided now would be a good time to try to grab more medical supplies. He didn't want to have someone dying on him again. He found some clean water first, as that was why he wasn't able to treat the patient last time, and he found a box of clean bindings so he grabbed as many as he could of those as well. He scurried back to the makeshift beds where more wounded were being brought in.

THE TOTAL HEALING DONE IS 605
Just one more and then Nellie would stop for a bit to stock up on supplies. That was the promise that she made to herself as she went up to the next knight who had a festering leg infection that she could probably smell from about a mile away. The wound was going to have to be cleaned thoroughly so out came the bottle of alcohol that she had with her which she poured a generous amount of over it while apologising the entire time.
It probably stung a whole lot but the knight gritted his teeth and bravely bore with the entire process without letting loose a string of curses that some others in his place might have done. After double checking to ensure that there weren't any pockets of pus that she had missed, she took the bindings to begin the process of dressing the wound up. It was still too early to tell for now if what she had done was enough to save his leg. All she knew was that she had done all that she could for now and that would have to do.

"It's not getting any better - they keep coming and more are dying and-" Horace held up his arms, red from the elbow down. Streaks of it stained his white tunic and his shoulder from where a man had grabbed him. "I don't know if-" And then a man was dumped on the table near him and he turned, ready. It was going to hurt, but all the treatment did. And it was a blessing the man fainted after Horace poured alcohol on the wound.
"If this keeps up," he said, a small silver of hopelessness tucked around the edges of his voice. "How long until we run out of people on the front lines?"

Quillan was already preparing the water when he saw the large burn on his next patient as he was walking over. He practically threw the water at the two liquids, water and alcohol, at the patient, and he would've if he had better aim and wouldn't instead create a puddle 3 feet in front of the patient. He managed to treat the knight.
