Salvo paused for a moment to take aim, to make sure he hit the Bellsprouts and not the Dunsparce or any other trainer's pokemon. Then he continued sending off bursts of blue light.

Jaime couldn't help but continue to glance over at Shaun's Tropius, ever impressed by his calm demeanor. Shaun really had a good one on his hands! "Flamethrower!" She instructed Doom, just to switch it up. The other three Pokemon were clearly close to their end, she just hoped they could save the Dunsparce.

An additional trainer, a young boy joined in with the rambunctious Growlithe from earlier. Jaime grinned and nodded towards Doom, allowing him to shoot another Flamethrower. The Bellsprouts would be done soon!

Shaun noted that the Dunsparce wasn't looking so great, but the Bellsprouts were getting pretty singed, too. Hopefully they would get knocked out before the Dunsparce.
Salvo just continued firing his attack at the Bellsprouts. He rather liked battles where he wasn't getting attacked.

It looked at if the Bellsprout were almost done! Jaime looked at Doom excitedly and ordered "Inferno!" Hopefully this would be the attack that did them in.
Watching the duo collapse in exhaustion, Jaime jumped up with a shout, excited. She then stooped down and pet Doom, then remembered the endangered Dunsparce. Were they okay?

The Bellsprout were down. Juno whipped out a Pokéball and glared around at the other trainers. The Dunsparce was hers. Desdemona joined in, circling the prize and boggling her eyes.

With a climactic clash, the bellsprouts were defeated. The dunsparce looked over at its saviors, silently thanking them for their efforts, unknowing that the attack it sustained was due in part to them to begin with. Way to go, jerks.
"Wait."
The crowd of people turned to the speaker of the voice, the man previously referred to as Smith. "It's been bugging me ever since seeing the shiny one get eaten by that victrebell. Wasn't there a rumor years ago that if you ate a dunsparce, you'd get immortality? But that was proven false." Silence fell over the group, and a groan broke out. "We spent all this time for a frigging dunsparce?" "I'm going home." "What a waste of time."
A large portion of the group dispersed, shaking their heads, complaining that they had gotten trolled. The dunsparce looked on, confused, as the trainers left one by one. But it and the bellsprouts were certainly weakened, and ripe for the catching. Maybe the trip didn't have to be a total waste of time...

"Lily Rose, heel!" Joey called firmly when it seemed the Bellsprout were down. Heeding her trainer's call, Lily Rose returned to her human's side, scanning the surrounding area alertly.

Jaime heard the man point out the legend of immortality being granted to whomever ate a Dunsparce and she laughed audibly. This was easily one of the silliest adventures she'd ever gone on, but definitely one of the most fun. Although she did wonder who had started the rumor of some mysterious Pokemon in the first place. If Dunsparce were as abundant as they seemed to be in the Grasslands, why hadn't a rumor circulated much earlier? Jaime shrugged it off and looked at the three Pokemon before her, nabbing a Pokeball out of her bag and throwing it towards them, hoping she could snag one. While she wasn't sure she wanted the responsibility of another Pokemon, they all needed a good resting, and she knew many Pokemon-less friends that would be delighted to start their journeys as trainers. Jaime patted Doom's head happily, hoping for the best. Pokeball go!  Preference List: Splotchy Dunsparce, Tulip Bellsprout, Stripey Bellsprout

Once the Bellsprouts were stopped, Salvo had no reason to keep attacking. Shaun patted his pokemon on the neck, silently thanking the Tropius for his good work. It looked like Joey and Lily Rose had joined in the battle too, which was a good outlet for the pup's energy. Shaun smiled at the pair as they headed away from the battle. "Well done! Looks like you're not trying to catch any of them. One more pokemon enough for you right now?"

Becka watched as a Dunsparce emerged, which was then attacked by Bellsprout ... which seemed familiar. She was so busy staring, she forgot to send Raven in to battle the Dunsparce, However she did attempt a weak throw with a Pokeball, she closed her eyes as she did so, hoping she'd get something. Juno chuckled under her breath at the revelation. Of course there was no immortality granter. These fools had led them on a wild Farfetch'd chase. No matter. She would still have the first -- undigested -- Dunsparce in the region. Unless someone else got there first. Juno scowled at the other trainers lobbing Pokéballs as she flung out her own. Desdemona floated menacingly up to the Dunsparce, flicking out tiny tongues of flame to goad the Pokémon toward her mistress. Pokéball go! Preference List: Dunsparce only
