Odette dealt 0 damage First, Odette protested that she didn't need healing. She'd be fine- she assured them. She was certain there were other trolls that required more healing than her. But when they insisted, Odette gave into her pain and accepted their help. Odette braced herself on Vremea's shoulder as she started to heal. There was a big gash in her side now from protecting Keionx, and she had a hard time tearing her own hand away to let it be healed. But once the cut had formed back together, it felt like a heaviness had been lifted off Odette's shoulders. She looked at Keionx. Thank goodness the troll was keeping an eye out for her too, or she might not have survived much longer. "Thank you, Kei. You really saved me there," She thanked the girl, and gave her a smile. She went to stand up, but immediately lurched herself into danger and took some more serious damage. Despite feeling healthier, she felt faint and dizzy. Turning away from her friends, she leaned over and vomited onto the ground. She looked back apologetically. They didn't deserve to see that. Odette HP: 8 (- 3 - 2) defending kei = 3 + 10 (heal) = 13 - 3 (roll) = 10/20

Keionx dodged away from a lashing vine that sought her out of the fog, bringing up her shield to try to protect against further stealthy attacks. It wasn't much of a shield, to be honest, a training toy, carved lovingly by her Lusus from wood, but it was something, anyway, and she loved it...

Cops and RobbersHealth: 36/40 Ephias gave a long, defeated sigh. It would be useless to try and look for the others in this soup. Besides, he had already wasted so much time. Maybe deliberately. But that was going to change. He had avoided the problem long enough. He needed to face the facts and accept that he was in the middle of a battlefield. There were no neutral parties in war. Finding a large shape in the mist, Ephias approached it cautiously. It would be impossible to fight the jadeblood directly, but perhaps if he could free some of the captive lusii they would turn on their puppeteer. Unfortunately that was easier said than done. He had was just able to make out the shape of a boar's head when a large tusk slammed into his stomach and sent him flying. Ephias failed to rescue a lusus.

Zindel succeeded in freeing a lusus and dealt 4 damage. There were so many of them that lived in NHC... Etsali included. Maybe Ephias was from there too... listening to Voscil's friendly words, Zindel shook his head. "Not that type of communal hive. I share my hive with some other trolls." He said, then listened to Reemus's small pride in getting a lusus free. Blinking, Zindel saw a loose vine and tugged at it, setting free a lusus himself almost effortlessly. "Congrats." He said, not meaning to sound sarcastic but actually, as it turned out, it did.
HP: 27 HP

Alifax grabbed his meteors and swung again. It didn't matter how hard the guy was to see right now: if he swung enough times, he was sure to hit him, right? It was almost a pity that he was more vulnerable when he wasn't glowing. Whatever. He felt the thwack of the jadeblood's harder skin on his meteor and pulled it back to ready himself for another strike. He could do this. ooc info HP: 12/20 damage done: 2 + 1 = 3 stuff: novice agility b, novice defense b, power which is offense b (all unused) o also his meteors are military grade! c:

Free! - Unsuccessful
Voscil hadn't seen him accidently do anything, from her perspective he'd bruteforced out a section of vine and managed to free a lusus. "Ohhh!" She breathed excitedly, her fast little form moving from one side of Reemus to the other as she got a good look at what he was holding. Her own attempts to actually pull at branches had been lackluster at best given all the distractions. "Look you got one yey! Nice job that was awesome!" She agreed, believing him that it had been his intention all along. Voscil took Reemus's word at face value. Why would she have reason to doubt him? It wasn't like she had reason to doubt him, nor was she looking to find out what might have been the case.
Of course when Zindel freed a lusii even if it wasn't with as much "effort" the redblood earned a thumbs up of approval even if his tone was sarcastic. It didn't keep her at bay. "Oh I see..like a shared apartment. I have my own place with Mama. Still! At least you have a place." She concluded, shrugging at him with a small smile to follow. While unsure, for now she remained hopeful Ephias perhaps also lived in town with them. While she couldn't say the yellowblood sighed wistfully for a place that wasn't surrounded by madness, and frantic trolls and lusii alike. While that was unlikely until they got out of this situation, Vos could wish.

Oh, look, the vine was coming loose! Excited, Dictys squealed a bit - before noticing that the lusii ey'd freed...wasn't actually alive anymore. s**t. It'd be best to seek one that was near the surface, then, or a water-breathing one, or just hurry up, so that they'd have more lusii on their side. ooc info HP: 29/40 damage done: 0 stuff: novice agility b...............which ey can't use lmao

Etsali glanced between Zindel and Reemus, eyes lighting with sudden amusement. This could be interesting to watch, couldn't it? Her fingers tugged at a vine in the meantime, but she was too distracted to make any real progress.

Odette dealt 4 damage. "I'm fine, really," Odette assured her friends. She moved to stand up. Still wobbly, yes, but she definitely had fight left in her. She wasn't going to let Aendal get away with hurting these lusii. HP: 10/20

As proud of he was of himself for FINALLY doing something right, much less Voscil adding to the enthusiasm, Reemus's mood dropped back down a little at Zindel's attitude, or what he could make of it. "Mate, I'm tryin' real hard to get along with ya but I'm gettin' a little tired of that attitude, I swear on me mum," he said with a sigh, looking at the redblood. It didn't even matter that Zindel had effortlessly yanked another vine. It was just his tone on top of that nose-wrinkle earlier, and his little fit before THAT. "Chin up, mate. Seriously." Reemus added in an exasperated, slightly-irritated tone.
With that, he watched another lusus head their way, grabbed one of its vines, and tried tugging. But this one was wrapped tight, and wouldn't give, but at the very least he could steer it a different direction than possibly trampling the lot of trolls before letting go again.Current HP: 28 / 40 HP

Keionx looked up at Odette, concerned. "Odette..." she said again, worried, tentatively offering her hand to help support her, "Art thou certain?" the way the teen was moving was concerning, and Keionx didn't like to think that she was the one responsible for some of those wounds.
So she bit her lip and didn't.
A large, white, entangled shape appeared out of the wet mist and Keionx managed to cut away its bindings neatly and cleanly. It shook its head, water and blood of an unidentifiable color shimmered briefly before vanishing into the water and fog.
"Go forth!" said Keionx, moving out of the way as the beast charged at its tormentor, being swallowed by the fog.
She turned back to Odette. Red blood stood out far too well against the white mists, and Keionx knew she was injured, healed again (amazing) but still injured. Hurt. Because of her...

Cops and RobbersHealth: 36/40 Ephias struggled to his feet, frowning. Well, frowning more than usual. He was not disheartened though. He lunged towards the lusus again and began to pull at the vines. The boar roared and stamped its feet. Yeah, this was really hard. Ephias failed to rescue a lusus.
