Corbin actually ended up getting more of the general idea behind Isaac's powers because of that one simple tidbit of his past, that emotions could be a catalyst for the abilities to spiral out of control. "Actually, I can't wait to see you more in action with your ice powers, minus your emotions spiraling out of control, of course." There was a tinge of amusement within his features; he wouldn't care if Hikaru would not be amused as long as he himself would see what the ice mage was capable of. That was when the waitress came back with the burgers and he spoke in thanks before starting to eat. The payment would wait until later when they were about to leave.

The reply was a simple nod, continuing to eat in silence. The song transitioned once again, moving to another track that was playing on the radio. The transition of the ice into an orchid was a beautiful, though he was more focused on finishing the food and drink. Because of them being in the private booth, they didn't even notice that the customers coming in for the lunch after the fun in the sun. Thanks to the nature of Isaac's ice powers, it would take so much longer for the ice orchid to melt and mix with the drink. Once Corbin was done with the burger, he wiped his mouth with the paper napkin, making sure that his mouth and hands were clean in the aftermath.

He silently nodded at the question when the bill was shown to them both. Plus, the way the waitress blushed at him was one proof that he was something that was rare, a precious jewel that they want to have for themselves. However, Corbin had to make sure that he wouldn't be soiled by evil hands, so it was good that the waitress left them to their own devices. The raven paid half of the bill and another waiter came around to collect the exact payment for the food and drinks that they enjoyed for the day. That way, they would leave the place to get started on the preparations for the concert tonight. It was a shame that Hikaru would just go home and get busy since, after all, she had to prepare for her next shift tomorrow at work.

The raven silently nodded before rising up from his seat, making sure that the used tissue was balled up on the burger plate instead of being left on the table surface. As they both exited the both, there would be some people speaking about how handsome Isaac was and they all wanted to get their hands on him. But sadly, there were also off-duty cops taking lunch in the place and they prompted the rowdy clients to behave or they would get arrested. Corbin was silently grateful for that moment, glancing at the officers with a look as they continued their way out of the place. Tonight would be a magical one indeed, more so for Isaac who would perform later for the concert.

One thing was for certain, Benjamin needed a break from the monotonous routine. All he did was work, read in his private library in the house, and even perform some origami and meditation, which was nice and all, but after being there for a long while, he was starting to get tired of it. And while he was not certainly into places that were noisy, it wasn't like he would force nature and people into keeping themselves quiet. He was currently wondering to himself: what would be like to bend the rules a little bit more? To be a bit more... free-spirited? He hadn't had this feeling in a long while after losing Yosuke to Death's embrace. Some people may think that he was just a lonely being craving for some company, but right now, he didn't care about the opinions; he just wanted to lose himself in the experience, even if it may end up as just fleeting.
Right now, there he was at the Captain's Deck, that club situated near the beach. The view of the sands, as well as the ocean waves, captivated him as Benjamin was sitting on one of the stools. Plus, there was the music with the piano keys and saxophone trills hanging around the place, beckoning interested individuals to join in. Maybe he would find someone who would keep him company for the time being? But who knows? Anything can happen.

A small adjust of the tie, straightening of the black vest, make sure there are no creases in his pants, and a double check that all the buttons were in place. This was just a typical check up on his wardrobe for work. it was a little different from his usual garb at work. In his dad's blacksmithing shop, most of the men were werewolves as well, so there was always shirtless men sweating in the heat of the forge. He was used to wearing pants he didn't mind getting ruined or dirty and thick, thick metal toe boots with a headband to push back his hair. Now, instead of being half naked in the forge with a bunch of men he grew up around, he was fully dressed in the air conditioning of The Captain's Deck surrounded by strangers. It was certainly a different atmosphere for him.
Sighing, Night gave himself another once over in the mirror they had in the dressing room, before he ultimately left the room to go to the bar and work. His father and uncle would surely be laughing at his formal getup right now. Sure, he wore nice clothes...when he actually wore clothing...but nothing like this. This was business and professional, completely different from Night's usual forte.
Walking behind the bar, Night immediately began to smile charmingly and take drink orders, smoothly making and serving their order in no time at all. he is originally a blacksmith, but he knew how to be a smooth bartender and make a mean drink. Ashe moved about, taking care of customers and their orders, he reached on side of the bar and spot a blonde male who looked like he really needed a mental break. Smirking, Night whips something up before walking towards the gentleman's side of the bar and sliding the drink over to him.
"You look like you need a break. This should help wind you down. It is a Grateful Dead cocktail, on me."

The half-demon's eyes took in the detail of the beach outside; with the sun shining through, it was definitely a clear day to have some fun in the sun. The bartender's baritone voice cut him out of his reverie, and Benjamin's eyes took in the sight of the drink. There was the powder on the rim of the glass, possibly either sugar or salt. He hesitated for a few seconds before holding the glass and taking a sip of the cocktail. The interesting taste hit his mouth and the buzz of the alcohol hit his body in small waves. Benjamin then took in the features of the man offering him the drink. Flaming red hair with earnest eyes aflame with charm. Silently, he thought he was a hot guy, more so with the build underneath the suit and tie. A small smile curved the half-demon's lips.
"It's my first time tasting this drink, but it's interesting enough. Thank you, sir, and may I know your name? You seem to be a fine fellow with the touch to charm people enough to be in your company. I'm Benjamin, by the way," he introduced himself. Indeed, the bartender was just so good-looking; he was silently betting on how many males and females wanting to take him home for the night, even when it was illogical.

The bartender's name was definitely having a unique touch, at least according to what Benjamin would believe. The blond took another sip of the drink as he contemplated on the answer. "It's a mix of all three, I guess... In fact, I hadn't had any fun like this for a while since I once had someone but he died. But still, I didn't have that intercourse with him since the relationship was short-lived with him passing away. I honestly wanted something more than just companionship for one night. Maybe to mend my broken heart in a long run... I believe?" Why was he venting out like this? It was possibly due to the buzz by the drink or the fact that he hid such problems underneath that professional demeanor of his. "My childhood friend came back but he left once again because of personal reasons. While I'm okay with my solitary life at home and interacting with people during work, I realized that I have to stop being content with that; I should at least take a few steps forward to provide myself the need to feel alive with someone by my side."
He was done talking by that time, but Night was right when he said that Benjamin should control himself with the consumption of such drinks. At least a few shots wouldn't hurt, right? "May I have two more of this? That will be all that I can take for this day." Secretly, Benjamin was thankful that Night was at least listening to him without being judgmental, all while making sure that he would have his fill as a start of possibly something more than what would happen next.
