The second one was easier then the first, since the infected was just sitting there.

A third one was knotted, his body moving quickly through the cold thanks to his wound. It burned and he was s**t ******** cold. This day sucked.

Of course the fourth tie was a pain, the moment he thought of his wound, the infected patient started tripping out.

"Stay still you ********." Dakota's patience was already at an end.

The fourth tie snapped down, Dakota stormed out of the room and to where Molly was.

He gave a brief look to Molly before smacking his hand on the button and then leaving the room.

"We're done."

He walked into room A, finding the nearest skin and shrugged out of his mist jacket. Followed by his shirt. He'd find a new one later but no was was he letting infected blood into his still healing would. Bandages wrapped around his back and neck, he looked in the mirror...and still clean.

There was a lightening in his shoulders and a tiredness in the way he sagged. He tried to find the nearest lab tech and asked them for new shirt.

Cell 13 - Room B -- Hanna, Jack, Finn, Ripley

Was Hanna unknowingly on a weird mission double date?

Her eyes bounced with amusement from Ripley to Finn and then back to Jack from confirmation, but they were moving quickly again. Hanna cared more about the job than anything else. It pleased her how fast they were able to pass through quarantine with their patient. She awarded them a mental gold star.

This mission was going so simply that Hanna began to grow a little anxious. Jack was feeling it too, apparently. "Might be more interesting," she said to Jack. "Maybe they'll let us study some of them. Something other than chauffeur duty." The speaker in the room crackled, a silent reminder that people were listening.

When they reached the next room, Hanna knelt down to latch the chain she carried to the floor and then began to follow Finn toward the door. The patient almost immediately began to thrash. Hanna paused momentarily, turning over her shoulder. "He must like you," she said to Finn, smirking.

Arorangi, Lydia & Oliver


Arorangi reached out a hand and grasped Oliver's shoulder, giving it a firm squeeze. "We do this very carefully," he said, with a firm nod. "Do not fear too much, little bird, we will be all right. We will be able to do this and do it together, because we are a team!"

He gave both of them an encouraging smile, and as Lydia set to work on one of the chains, Arorangi went to work on another one. He grasped it in his thick fingers and pulled, and the patient lunged towards him, teeth snapping, saliva dripping down its chin. Arorangi put a hand against its chest and pushed backwards.

"You poor thing," he said, echoing Lydia's sentiments. "Do not worry, friend, we will get you out of here."

"I have a great amount of sympathy for your mother," Nora said, "and sincerely hope she is enjoying her retirement from that job." One that clearly had not been done well.

When it looked like their guy was strapped down, she nodded to Abbi. "Don't have any goodies to reward you with this time, but I can bake something," Nora offered cheerfully. "Well, after a scouring hot shower at least."

13 - B

"Substitute whiskey for smokes, and I'm in." It seemed like a good idea anyway. The stress of nothing happening was enough to warrant a bad habit break in one form or another; things didn't often go well on Deus, and this was going a little too well for his tastes. If his previous - and near constant - visits to the infirmary were any indication, this was just a calm before the storm.

"Later?" Ripley parroted Finn's oh-so-charming comment, sounding minutely surprised and even going so far as to raise a brow. Why not? Two could play at that game. His snark was a show; under that mask of his, his discomfort grew.

Quietly, he agreed to the studying bit; it would be interesting...if someone provided some sort of personal protective equipment. They had made great time, and continued to make great time, and studying seemed like a great reward. An unlikely reward, but a reward. It seemed the only mishap so far had been the patient vomiting on Finn, which was less of a mishap and more funny since it didn't seem to have an affect on the man. The reoccurring thought continued to nag at him: whatever was about to happen? It wasn't going to be good. He watched Hanna latch her chain, and almost laughed at her comment. Almost.

"Someone has to." A brief, lopsided grin was flashed in Hanna's general direction before he leaned his head back; a reflex move to keep his head away from the thrashing patient. It wasn't settling down after that, and Ripley had no choice; he stooped to tether, but as he walked away, he heard it.

A clear, crisp snap.

[ Room 16 ] - [ Arland, Inoke, Jasper ]

Once their team was assembled they made their way down the corridor, pausing in front of the room that he had picked to retrieve their 'patient' out of. He and Jasper would handle the wrangling and Inoke could make sure they were following the right instructions. It was probably better that way anyways... He wasn't all that good with sticking right to the rules himself and he would hate to be labeled a failure on something as important as this.

After making certain that Jasper was ready he nodded for the other to follow him into the room, making certain that Inoke had their backs in the event their subject decided to make a break for it. He clenched his fingers into a fist and then flexed them to stretch his hand out before reaching for the first of the four chains.

*Snap!*

"Son of a...!" He stepped back as the subject began to foam. "Alright, Jasp... Your turn. Careful, okay?"

Should she approach someone? Or stay put and wait for someone to come to her instead? Nellie pondered over her options quietly, a hopeful look in her eyes each time she mistakenly thought that someone was heading her way. A minute passed. Two. Three. And still no one. Maybe she should have been a little more proactive in this, she thought darkly to herself, momentarily at a loss as to what she ought to do as she watched group after group of Hunters leave to head towards their respective assigned rooms.

She actually blinked at the pair that approached her, her eyes growing wide with surprise as Harlow gave her their names. "... name's Nellie. Pleased to meet you both, Harlow and Zascha." She finally managed with a small smile the moment she realized what had happened and that someone actually wanted her on their team even if it was just going to be a temporary arrangement for the duration of this mission. She beamed at the pair, a big smile on her face now as she nodded a few times like an all too eager to please puppy.

"Nellie would love to. What does Harlow and Zascha need Nellie to do?"

"She probably ******** is," Leslie commiserated, "but there's four others to worry about, so it's not like she had any ******** time for me anyway."

There was no way in hell that he was changing how he talked for some uppity b***h. Who did she think she was, anyway?

Leslie moved away from the strapped down patient, grimacing. "Jesus, it's a good thing they don't get this bad in the infirmary. Usually." He eyeballed Abbi and her chattering teeth. It was cold, but...not that bad.

We help, youngling. You are accustomed to the chill.

The tether he had just placed broke free, and the patient thrashed wildly in an attempt to break the others. Internally, Ripley groaned; of course this would happen to him. It always happened to him. Things had been going to well, and this was the start of a charming downwards spiral.

So he turned on his heel and walked right back to the patient, watching it carefully to try and avoid the thrashing, twisting creature to reclaim the tether. Once it was back in his gloved hands, he crouched down to secure it once more, and made another hasty exit, slowing near the end to listen for another snap.

When it didn't come, he made a hasty exit with the others.

Finn also glanced back at it as it began to thrash. "Figures." He shot back to Hanna.

"I seem to attract all kinds of losers." A pointed look was given to Jack, before that gaze went back to Ripley.

"And window lickers. Jesus <********> Sigourney, get your s**t together."

And then Ripley did get his s**t together so Finn followed the rest of them out to room A where he could hopefully get some of the blood off of his clothes.

CELL 8 (We're gonna go with this one cause idk)

He gave a brief nod to the other hunter that Harlow had decided to bring along. Even if it were just him and her it felt nice having a third tag along. At least then things could perhaps move a little bit faster. "Nice to meet you Nellie."

As they entered the portal with all the rooms, Zascha wasted no time. "You girls can figure out who's gonna be the navigator and handler out of you two. I already know what I'm going to to." It was only obvious. He'd go in and pick up some of the chains.

Zascha pulled his red scarf up over his face. The thought of infection left him cautious. While his armor could for the most part protect him from bites and scratches his face was horribly exposed.

As he removed the first chain the infected thing lunged at him. Snapping its horrible teeth a bit too close to his face for any comfort. He pushed the creature back harshly with his hand, eyes narrowing. "Sit down."
