Disa fell silent, turning her attention to the food. The fish didn't interest her so much as the beef and chicken, so she left it. It was several minutes and a couple of mouthfulls later before she spoke again. "I think you're wrong." She took another bite, chewing slowly so as to let that statement settle in. "Killing doesn't get easier for someone who values life as highly as I do."

He continued eating in silence. It wasn't that he didn't value life himself, he'd just been in the forest to make sure no one else was hurt by that monster they'd seen dead on the way out. Thing is that Reinhart had learned long ago that to save some you have to kill others. Sometimes to save one person you sacrifice another, there wasn't any way around it. An empty plate sat infront of him and he stood stretching for a moment.
"You ready to go?"

Her plate wasn't quite empty, but she was full enough. Taking a last sip of her water, she stood and nodded. "Aye, whenever you are."

Paying the bill the old man bowed to them as they left, his son shot them a smile and a small wave. It'd been a while sine he visited Aekea, the city still made his head spin from all the various mechanical devices that caught his eye. Walking through the crowd of both citizens and workers he turned to Disa.
"Disa you..."
He was cut off however by a short round man who came up from his side tapping his hsoulder.
"HEY! Reinhart! Long time no see!"
The man wore a suit and glasses smiling to Reinhart as he continued speaking.
"Who's the little lady? Your girlfriend I assume."
The man chuckled and you could literally see the annoyence the man caused Reinhart.
"Hello little lady! My name's Rupert Whitecastle, a pleasure to meet you."
He stuck out his hand to to Disa but if she was paying attention Reinhart was shaking his head as if telling her 'DON'T'.

Even if she wasn't paying attention to Reinhart, she still wouldn't have taken the man's hand. Throw off by the sudden introduction and the thrusting of his hand in her direction, Disa leaned back a bit. "Erm... Hi," was all she said as she looked at the man in confusion. Who was he and why had he invaded her personal space?

Reinhart pulled the short round man away from Disa by the shoulders and placed himself between him and her.
"Yeah yeah, nice to see you two Rupert..."
Once again he was cut off.
"Hello little lady! Nice catch Reinhart."
The little man nudged his shoulder.
"Ugh..."
An idea struck Reinhart then.
"Is that the new XZ442 Companion Model over there!?"
He pointed behind Rupert.
"Huh? WHERE?!"
Once the little man's attention was turned Reinhart grabbed Disa's hand and lead her away from Rupert as well as himself.
"Good one Reinhart, I almost..."
And they were gone, dissapeared into the crowd.

"An idiot."
He said simply still holding onto her hand as they made their wasy through the crowds creating more distance between Rupert and themselves. When they were far enough he looked around then headed towards the town's entrance.
"He was contracted a while back ago to install somethings in my home, mainly all the mechanical workings and such."
The defense systems and things of the like to be exact.
"Let's keep moving."
Disa would find herself being lead by him still out of Aekea by his hand.

Reinhart laughed for a moment but kept on walking.
"No, he just wants another job or is being overly friendly trying to stay in my good graces I suppose. Needless to say he comes off a bit strong..."
A bit strong? That was an understatement.
"He jumps to conclusions fairly quickly as well as you may've noticed. Seems your my girlfirend in his eyes, I'm surprised he didn't think you were my fiance..."

Disa snorted. "Me? Your girlfriend? That's a funny notion. I don't think I can have a lover." It was sure to be written in the white mage's handbook that no white mage was allowed to love, but there were other reasons too.

"Ah the code of the White Mage, how boring."
Laughing lightly afterwards to let Disa know he was only joking he continued walking at a steady pace.
"Like I said Rupert just jumps to conclusions. He thought my sister was my girlfriend when he came to my home..."
That landed Rupert a kick to the shin from Amber which Reinhart found funny then and did now.
"We got a little more to go, I hope you can travel through the night."

Eripse entered with a blink and a yawn, as people were all z0mg worried about her being dressed. She ignored the blanket. She ignored everything else, but Red. Eyes assessed quietly, the trenchcoat, the extended hand, the action entire.
A moment, to reach, smoothly, however it was quickly noticed that she did not reach for the jacket, but for that bloodied shoulder. Her hand rested silently over the wound. Her hand illuminated, heated, not scorching, but warm... The wound would be purified, and smoothly heal. She had to lean close for this one, eventually, and murmured.
"Keep the jacket, eh? I don't need one, I'm alright." And an affectionate headbutt followed, a sort of... cheek rub. An animal gesture, to be sure, but a kind one.
"Perhaps, rather than extending the olive branch late, you should accept a tank when you see one." Her voice was not harsh, or aggressive, but infact it was soft, coupled with her half-lidded eyes, it was quite obvious she was tired.
(Not to sound like an a**, but why the fawk are you guys having a date in a Warzone? I mean, Gareth, I understand.)

"I'm sure," a grave voice said for a moment, interrupting the oh-so-tender reunion that he was sure that was going on, "That you can explain the tank part to me much later, Eripse."
Ah, there he was. Roth Sinclaire.
"For now, let's get you all in my office. I'll explain the situation there, if you don't mind."

"Harpy, I don't care how you do it, just cover yourself up, you can use the coat till you find something that isn't mine." Red snapped, her voice filled with disgust and irritation. She would greet Daniel, shake hands, and enter the office.
