Gale had been watching the reunion between Peyton and her sister with a certain sense of envy, a strange longing welling in his throat that had nothing to do with either of them and everything to do with a certain blonde haired trainee that would be permanently asleep. He quickly pushed it down and gave the pair of girls and Noah a small smile.
"No, that's all right, thank you for the invitation," he said, and tucked waved his hands. "You all have a lot of catching up to do, I can see, and I would hate to intrude."
He turned to Peyton's sister and said, "Astrid, it was a pleasure meeting you," before looking at al three of them with a kind expression that masked the ache in his stomach. "If any of you have any questions, please do let me know. I live in town, but I have an office in the Death area. Feel free to stop by anytime."
Gale nodded to them all and then stepped back, giving a little wave before disappearing back into the throng of people.

A smile peeked on Hanna's lips when the boy did not bristle at her explosion of paranoia. It happened sometimes, whoops. Still, his calm reaction put her at ease. She released the breath she hadn't been aware she was holding.
"Right, I'm here," she said, nodding matter-of-factly. "I just wish I felt like I knew where here was, exactly." One hand gestured to the room. "Like, I remember all these locations, but things are different. So much has changed..." She cut off her thoughts, wanting to protect her emotions. In her heart, she felt the truth: she felt like she had been lost in the shuffle. "My training had really only just begun. I never even knew there was a basement to the dorms -- and now people live there."
When she first arrived, all the new trainees, which was everyone, lived on the first floor. Truth be told, she could use a reintroduction to Deus -- all of it. She just wasn't sure she felt comfortable admitting it.
Noemi was now using Milo as a shield as the other girl really...let loose, gripping her hands in the sun hunters jacket and bobbing her head up and down. She had no idea what the things she were saying were, because they were rapid and much like if Noemi spoke spanish to the point where no one could understand her.
Once the girl finished, she nodded again.
"Ah..." Okay she needed to stop nodding her head and form...more words. "Insanity titans?" Noemi blinked, "Merlin...." her voice getting smaller because these were things she didn't know either...after all, she only woke up a couple weeks ago. "Not stupid, Si. I am sorry."
"They can repod you?" Add one more fear for the small mist hunter. It was about to get awkward silence as Noemi thought of all the things she would have to avoid to get repodded.

Her smile faded when his smooth answer reminded her of things that threatened to actually turn her on, instead of the lies she loved to spread. She looked away, as if interested in none of the parties in front of her, even as Marcus tried to give her a performance review right then and there. Not here, she silently begged. Not in front of Cee. Not in front of Alistaire-
Someone heard her prayers, because Cee screamed rape. And. Kicked him in the balls. Maebe's attention was stolen, and enraptured, by this brutish and insane human. She loved Cee. Loved her. Or, more likely, whatever translated to love in her twisted, frozen heart.
She smiled; it was a rare, genuine thing.
"Okay. Fine. No babysitting. Just come follow us and make callous comments about how much you hate us." She piped out quickly, happily. She was grinning when she took Alistaire's hand, and tugged him along. Anything to get away from the man.
"Marcus.. just.. do a write up. And put some ice on that. Like, right now." Maebe was in such a good mood, that it was hard to contain the emotion on her face.
Recovering from the attack on his manhood, Marcus looked at Cee and then at the other man. A slow appraising look. Mild shock registered in his eyes, lips forming a small frown.
"You have eyes just like him." It was a dull, bored tone. One Dis was all too familiar with. "Cousin then. I never made a point to check my father's side. Maybe I should have lest I meet more of you unexpected relatives." He brushed off his pants, tugging on his coat.
"Third lesson? You don't attack your seniors unless you'd like to get reminded just how disposable you are. As for your write up Maebe-"
He sighed heavily, rubbing his head, walking after her. "Side note, right now. They can wait a few seconds." He motioned for her to step aside and talk to him.
"Alistaire, I will also need a brief word with you once I've spoken to Maebe."

Harland nodded seriously, arms crossed over his chest. "First thing I did after parting with Gale was go get my Deputee. Well, that's what I call him an' all; his name's Coyote. He's dormant as, ah... Ye know, he's dormant right now," Harland awkwardly finished.
He was a sheriff badge naval jewelry with two dangling cuffs. But he wasn't about to show them that, and he would honestly rather not admit it either. "Somewhere I've got notes about each of our division roles," he added, lost in thought.

"Hasan. Bertrand." Edith's voice sounded behind them. The Moon leader was small, muscular black woman who happened to be carrying a tray of bacon covered in hot sauce and coconut flakes. She didn't look particularly pleased, "This isn't social hour, adopt one or get back to work. And don't forget to eat some breakfast." The woman then advanced on the refreshment table, casting looks of judgement on all those who didn't appear to have tried any of her food.

Marcus' sudden command made Maebe extremely uncomfortable. She was pretty sure she hadn't blown up anything lately, or killed anyone - so why would he need to talk to her instead of letting her get on with the babysitting-
Oops. She wouldn't even get to find out. Edith, their Division Leader, caught the four of them dilly-dallying and killed all the fun out of the moment. She considered being snarky, but this was an unexpected blessing in disguise, since now..
"Aw. Sorry, Marcus. Looks like you'll have to spank me for being naughty later. I've got a job to do." She turned to Cee, wrapping her arm tight around her. "We need to go, or we're never getting out of here. Are you ready, or did you need to grab something to eat before we disappear?"

It was kind of amusing at first to listen to the variety of pained noises coming from Robert, who was so fixated on the food that Mimsy doubted even remembered that she was there. When this doubt escalated, she took his hand, gave a kiss as a reminder, and pulled him towards the group near Shu.
As she neared them, she discovered that someone was removing their clothing. It was an altruistic act, but it was partial nudity near Shu nonetheless, and Mimsy froze and stiffened...and was not quite sure why. A body was only a body, and nudity meant nothing, but--
She squeezed Robert's hand, glanced up at him, and looked back to Shu.
"Impressive. Your selections are flawless." She nodded towards the collection of food that she had gathered. "You are so kind to us. Have you made friends?"
She managed a smile, but it looked out of place, as the rest of her face still carried evidence that she'd been crying.

Robert had been so focused on the plate of food that never came his way. The kiss startled him, and he let out a soft sound, before melting into it. But it was short - too short - and he leaned forward when she pulled away, making it easier to tug him out of the seat and pull him towards Shu.
And the food!
THE GLORIOUS FOOD.
Robert was left at the plate, as Mimsy turned to take care of Shu. He turned his back to the group, keeping himself between him and the food, and bent down just enough to keep from making a mess. Soon, terrible sounds came from where he was facing - sounds that indicated it was a blessing in disguise that he hid his actions from view.
She was going to let it go for now. Part of her realized she had limited time. The Doctor has said some things to suggest it. Regardless of if it came to pass, she didn't want all the time she had filled with sobs, even if she had more than a few more to shed. Rather, she was curious about their new home of sorts? They would have to stay here right? "Oh! That's nice!" No, she did not fully realize the cost of such a thing. Though... "But I don't mind sharing." She added, recalling how empty the room had felt on her own. It was that odd thing you always wanted... until you got it.
And then came the blank expression. "The Bermuda Triangle?" Like that... place that they always heard of. "That one?" Why, she had to ask, were they there? But, well, no time to yell and whine. More important was the explanation of WHAT it was. "I... oh." Labs, training, base thing. Rolled into one. "Diverse, aren't they?" She glanced around at those in the room. They didn't look like soldiers. Just... normal people in coats. Mostly. "What part are you in?"
Then came the introductions. She nodded at knowing Gale. Death Division? What on earth did the Division mean or matter for? Still, as Peyton continued her eyes trailed and paused on the next figure as he was introduced. And given his title. "Ohhhh..." She had mixed feelings about it, but it wasn't like it was against the rules. She wouldn't give him too hard a time. Unless he was a jerk. Then... then she'd talk to her sister about it. Time would tell. "Nice to meet you as well, Noah." For now, he got a polite smile. "You better be nice." Though he didn't seem bad, she did have a habit of just saying things.
Then came the question of if they were coming with on the tour. Noah seemed eager enough to come, however it appeared Gale had other matters to attend. The look on his face was less calm than before, but she couldn't place it as she watched him. Then offered a wave. "Thank you!" She offered with a tippy-toed wave back to him before looking to her sister again. "So, I guess we'll go see?" She was curious. H hadn't answered many questions after all.

Xi followed, quietly at first. She opened her mouth a few times, and then closed it as she regaled the surroundings. When they got potentially close to the restrooms, or when she thought the other had slowed down, she opened her mouth again. "I'm sorry, I didn't quite understand the other man, he has this- I think it's that drawl of his it's really a terrible accent, but what was it that you did here again?"

Milo spared a glance as Noemi ducked behind him. He took this time to dare taking a bite out of one of those egg things on a stick. "Heard something about puttin' you in a pod if you get real injured." He mentioned to her, at least one of the things he could explain for now.
He turned back to Hanna after another bite of food, which wasn't... terrible. "Ya, basements not too bad. We live down there, kind of cool once you get the dank out. But we can show you around if you want," The Sun offered with a goofy sort of grin, "get your barrings again. You kinda get a new start with like added knowledge bonus, kind of cool, ya?" Totally like the Ranger teams who were going into the season already knowing their abilities. He had heard Kyoryuranger was like that. Actually a lot of Sentai teams were like that. (Man, he needed to figure out how to get his shows).

Melody frowned and wilted just slightly, "I hear that is why we are only going to be here short-term." She became temporarily distracted at the different divisions, all of them sounded amazing in their own rights. She pondered what sounded like it best fit her before reality crept back and encouraged a fresh new question. "What is it like to bond? Was it scary?"
Then Harland had to go and rouse her curiosity further to levels she may not really have wanted to go to, "dormant?"
"Preeeeetty sure you ******** said disposable like 47 times already jeezus." Cee rolled her eyes at Marcus. "Like whatever macho boss man bullshit you are tryin'a lay down has ******** failed. Not sure what kinna pansy bitches you got runnin around this joint but I figgered a grown a** man would know not to be grippin up on a b***h, A'IGHT?" She was bobbling, finger wagging, and sliding closer and closer to being up in Marcus's face.
Until they got yelled at. Almost automatically she dropped back to her place beside Maebe. The transition from fight-ready to calm and politely smiling was disturbingly smooth and flawless. Cee gave the authoritative woman who'd called them out a very polite smile and nod, mentally noting how much of a badass b***h she seemed to be.
When she felt Maebe's arm wrap around her back, Cee reached for Alistaire's hand as well. She smiled sweetly at him and winked, "Yer cousin's a piece'a s**t."
