The boil slashed at the creatures with a grunt, hitting the survivors entirely too hard. He almost toppled over with the effort, and he sighed when they were gone.

There are only a few people he's interested in out of more than scientific curiosity, so if he seems a little cold, you shouldn't let it bother you. Sap looked up as confetti rained from the sky, which was interesting in itself because there were no clouds or anything to support a rain. But this was a game, so to heck with logic!
Instead of logicking, she had fun playing around in the confetti storm.
And then she heard the BUZZING.
"Oh no." she said, looking up at the swarm of Snapdragonflies, [b"Not these again."

Small IC description of character: Maple Syrup is a puppet woman with very woody, brown skin and orange fall leaves everywhere, especially her hair, which appears to just stay in that hairstyle and be completely made of twigs and leaves.
Her eyes and mouth have a yellowish glow to them, but seem very friendly, like a jack-o-lantern.
She wears the Cheshire cat cloak, semithere tail, and the semithere scarf in the traditional blue-theme, but has foregone the ears for an aura of shadowy magic that seems to cling to her and shift. She also has glowing, long, cyan claws - her weapon as a Cat. Both the claws and the aura are not visible/barely visible out of battle, but become apparent during battle - the claws are very long and sharp, and the aura becomes a miasmic and disturbing cloud... are those eyes? No, of course not.
Aside from being cool and magical, this has no effect on her stats. Its just cool.

Sap charged up a spell at the impending snapdragonfly swarm and then loosed it, launching a shower of dark magic that turned into slicing, glasslike, shards before returning to a miasmic form and dissipating in the midst of its destroyed enemies. Confetti and dissappearing enemy remains showered over Sap as she felt like the most powerful tree cat in the game.
"HA. TEACH YOU TO MESS WITH ME!" she /shouted, pumping her fist into the air. "That was too easy..." she said, as her quest log dinged at her, "But it was a great start to a day!"
"One more time," Punchy muttered as he stomped into snapdragonfly territory, sparkling merrily. He might have been liberally covered in confetti that he might have covertly stolen from the creatures' stash mere hours before. He liked to think Levi would have been proud of how stealthy he'd been.
"Come an' get it!" he shouted, spreading his arms wide as he stopped.
They did.
And he murdered them all.

(He doesn't.) His Gryphon-issued eye patch is pushed up onto his forehead because 'screw that one-eyed crap,' and he wears the default color scheme for his class, partly because he doesn't know how to change it and partly because it already looks badass. The ghoul was legitimately concerned as to where the corpses of these snapdragonflies would go as she slashed down half a dozen of them, passing through the area.

Teally, they just needed to take out a few snapdragonflies? Thats all this quest was?
This would be a piece of cake compared to the batty one. Though...oddly he found himself REALLY sleepy. Enough to where it was a miracle he even managed to take out the dragonflies.

Back again~ This particular quest wasn't too bad, for which the girl was grateful for. She took out eight in one fell swoop, leaving just two more to get rid of.

Shadow was at it again. Nobody seemed to have realized that it was candy, well maybe the strange creatures hovering above it, but nobody else. "Well thats fine, more for me", she said before attacking the potential candy thieves.
