Dendrobis immediately shakes her head "no" at La Ballena's statement that foreigners might not understand why Boxa Libre is such a big thing. When La Ballena finishes, she speaks enthusiastically.

I don't see how ANYONE could not get this! I only found out about Boxa Libre recently! I've only seen one match...and heck...half the time I was hitting on the snack guy...But that's just it right? I got to hang with this super friendly dude and help him hand out amazing smelling treats to people because of Boxa Libre. And that was just one silly thing that happened, but everyone gets to experience amazing things that they wouldn't otherwise.

Outh doesn't feel particularly comfortable. He feels very much like he's being sized up, which is an annoying amount of attention for someone so generally chill about things. It's hard for him to tell if the people he's dealing with are merely curious, malicious, thoughtful, rude, or maybe all of those things. In response, he merely holds up an unlit cig (whatever happened to his last one anyway?). He gestures with it vaguely, eluding to the fact that it is unlit.

[[Indeed. I will endeavor to create a performance worthy of the honor Senor Bardo has bestowed on me.]]

For a while Wagner did not pay much heed to the source of the music, letting it wash over him without thinking about it. It was perhaps slightly ominous, but Wagner found himself quite appreciating it. The reverent, classical organ reverberations brought nostalgic feelings from within his host's psyche of older times, and stirred something otherworldly deep within him.

As the music increased in volume and clarity, he caught on to the directedness of the piece, turning to look at where it was coming from, his gaze locking for a moment with the strange darkly clad musicion and her fancy instrument. Wagner thought to try and say something to keep from just impolitely staring, but could not find something appropriate, so simply continued to listen passively until Russ spoke up, listening, interested, to what he said.

He gave Russ a very genuine smile "If I've learned one thing well in my time, it's that legacies of the dead can be surprisingly... potent" he said, adorning a look of reminicence for a moment as the haunting melody continued "It is good to know that the spirits of the past treat the peoples of this land well" his smile faltered a little, and Wagner's gaze broke from the mysterious cowboy "Sadly, the departed have not treated me quite so kindly in the past, yet if nothing else it clarifies to me ever more the respect that is demanded of them" he went on, choosing - a little like Russ himself - to be a bit tactfully vague.

*The woman finishes playing her song and she pulls a lighter out from her pocket and lights the red garbed Lady of Faith. She also hands her a bouquet of flowers with a card that says "Bienvenido a Pluma de Relámpago, Señorita Callie Vera". She nods and hands a paper fan to the other gentleman, who appeared to be sweating a bit from the warm weather. As she places it in Wagner's hand, Wagner can notice a sense of appreciation towards him.

Before leaving the bar, she flips a coin behind her.

Russ catches it and bites it. He looks up at her and raises an eyebrow.

The woman turns back to him and motions to the pair and nods. She heads towards the exit.




*Russ catches the coin and bites it. He nods.*

"This'll be plenty for the remainder of your visit. The Lady seems to have left you the rest as spendin' money. I reckon y'all will want souviners, so take it." *He makes changes and gives the two foreigners a pouch of coins. Apparently the coin left by her was a decent amount.*



*The woman stops at the door, as if waiting for something. She's looking up at the sky. After a few moments, she turns around and looks towards the foreigners. She motions that you look outside.*


(Meanwhile)




*La Ballena laughs.* "I truly adore fans like you. You help keep this whole thing fun!" *her Nagual laughs too, and is flying around in the air playfully.*

*She notices the limanzana hit her fan in the head and looks at the man responsible.*
"Know your place, male! How dare you th...."*She stops and looks up at the sky.* "Ten...no...twelve of them. Right on time."

*She turns towards La Olomina Fiera, who has been quiet this whole time.*

"It's time to go. Are you ready to conquer the 300s? Don't worry, I believe in you!" *She smiles and her teeth sparkle for a moment.*



*Mina looks upward at La Ballena and nods.* "Y..yes, I think so." *Despite her determined and fierce expression, her voice seems a bit shaky.*



"Get ready, girls! They're about to announce the end of the recess."

*La Ballena's Nagual shoots a path of bubbles that lead from the ground to the top of the colosseum. La Ballena grabs Mina and..throws her. Mina is rocketed upward as if she was shot out of a cannon. Though she takes it in stride, she kicks off the bubbles as if they were bounce pads, and elegantly makes her way into the colloseum. This process repeats for all the remaining members of La Corazoa, excluding La Ballena herself....who simply waits.*

(And finally)

*From the stadium, you hear a song being broadcasted. The lights in the street are all pulsing in time with the music. Even the glowing stone tiles are pulsating to the beat.*

*You hear a large mechanical sound, like a metallic door opening. Then you hear the sound of machinery rising. A large metallic lightning rod, reaching skyward at twice the height of the stadium, emerges from it center. It's massive in height and width, and resembles a combination of an elevator and a spire combined.*

Around the same time, you notice a large thundercloud forming overhead. The lightning rod sparks a few times, and then you see several silver ightning bolts slam down into it. After this happens, the base glows with a silver light for a moment. Then you you can see several colored streams of light spiral down towards its base. Your eyes happen to catch a Red and Green streak, appearing last in the order.

When the last streak of light reaches the base, the lightning rod elevator thing retracts, and the music stops. All the city's lights return to normal.

Shortly after, you hear a loud KRAKOOOOM as the thunder catches up. Everyone in the area isn't startled by this, and everyone heads towards the coliseum to resume the fighting festivities.*


*An apparition appears behind the woman. A Nagual, larger than any you've seen so far, in the shape of a Metal Shark. She looks to the pair one last time.*



*With a nod, she walks outside and backflips and lands on the Shark Nagual. She's suspended in midair as she surfs on it. Suddenly, they are coated in an electric yellow aura and she surfs skyward towards the top of El Coloseo Menor, and enters at the top, where the roof would be (if there was one). To an onlooker, it looks like a slower lightning bolt shot from the ground and curved into the top of the colosseum.*

Dendrobis whirls around to see the Limanzana vendor.

Heeey! Where have you been? I was looking for you but got sidetracked by HOW FREAKING AWESOME YOUR COUNTRY IS! Where do I find more???

She hops around Alberto holding her treasure as though it was the most precious thing on earth.

"Most gracious of you madam" Wagner gratefully accepted the fan, sighing in a relieved fashion as he wafted some mercifully cool air towards himself. When taking the implement he had picked up a subtle unstated appreciation from the mysterious musician. He didn't really understand from where this feeling came, but was glad. So used to rather harsh reactions for most of his time made him grateful for any act of kindness all the more. It reminded him too, how lucky he was to have found the denizens of the music park, as well as that witch, Lydia. The alchemist found himself becoming ever more fond of this country.

"Oh my..." Wagner was further surprised when offered the bag of coin that the lady had left. Wagner wasn't acustomed to accepting such generosity from random strangers, but it surely would be rude not to, so he took the pouch with another respectful nod.

He shortly moved to join Outh outside as the sudden ruckus took place. Wagner had to wonder what sort of sourcery or mechanism was at work to create the stunning light show, though more to the point right now, was that this seemed to be the announcment of the next match. He was so memerised that he almost missed Outh wandering off the find Jien.

Figuring he should also rejoin the group he turned to thank the punkish lady again for the extra currency, and also to appologise for "Callie's" rocky stoicism, only to be nearly blinded by the flash of the musician taking off in her thunderbolt shark.

"Oou..." he squinted a little as normal sight slowly returned to him "I wonder if these people will ever stop surprising me? How delightfully perplexing" he pondered to himself, though having to cut himself short of the rest of his musings as he remembered what he was doing in the first place, and - upon catching a glimpse of his colourful friends again in the bustle towards the arena - jogged over to join them.
