Xena is fantastic but she isnt perfect.
She has daddy issues. She likes to kill people. At least now she only kills the bad ones but still. She likes bad boys, which while I can totally appreciate it, it isnt good for you.

I'm with Princessah. She definitely has daddy issues. She also has an anger problem. She takes all of her hurt/bitterness and gets mad instead of working through it.

Well, that's just being emotionally introverted. I think mostly she has unresolved issues from her past. If most people had gone through all the s**t she did, they'd have PTSS, no doubt. But Xena took it all in stride. Or as much as you can, while killing people. Things like that don't just go away if you pretend they aren't there. But I do think she was able to work through a lot of that during her time with Gabrielle before she died stopped having her life filmed by a TV crew. ninja ninja ninja
And anyone would have to admit that she has issues after seeing Destiny. The way she just snapped after M'Lila died is NOT NORMAL. Grieving is normal. Rage and revenge are normal. A little insanity is acceptable. But the way one single second so dramatically changed her as a human being isn't something that would have happened in a emotionally stable person.

Well, the thing about her snapping after M'Lila died, I think actually is a normal thing for a woman to do. It's like the straw that broke the camel's back, really. Her father "ran off" when she was little, then her favorite brother/best friend was killed because he was fighting in an army that she put together, her other brother ran away, her town and mother disowned her, then Caesar betrayed her, killed all her men, and then killed the one last person she had left in the world--someone that saved her life, even. There's only so much a person can take in stride before they crack.

Well, generally speaking men tend to get mad right away, and women bottle it it up for a while. Granted, there are exceptions, but I don't think Xena is one of them in this case. In fact, that's one way that I really relate to Xena. She's a very outwardly stoic person and tries to keep her inner turmoil to herself, but after a while, that's just it. It's all over, and everyone in the way is gonna get cut down. confused
