The maned wolf was once again circled around Malcom, eyes closed but ears up and alert. His black nose was twitching, nostrils flaring, keeping track of their surroundings.

"I hadn't gotten to that part yet, if you'd like I can go to the food court to see if there is anything left. I'd gotten as far as bags, as ours are starting to tear and Malcom doesn't have one at all."

Hal nodded in understanding, changing his list of priorities, nodding. "You've been needing the clothes. I noticed that they were much thinner. You need the warmth. I've detected smaller shifts in temperature, and the nights have been getting colder."

While Momo changed, Hal cataloged any new cuts or bruises, comparing them to old logs. He also made note of where the boy had grown, what had developed, how long his hair had gotten. He was healthy.

Looking at the clothes he grabbed and analyzed them, counting the thread and nodding. "These will definitely be warm. And Swears, yes. Good job, Monoki, you remembered." and smiled happily. "Remember, take only what we need."

Picking up some of Malcom's clothes the android started walking. "Her inventory showed quite a lot, so whether she is the only android alive in this mall is unknown. I suspect one more may be alive judging by the data. It is hard to explain how I can tell while I was searching through her inventory, the best way to describe it in your terms would be 'hearing background noise." Hal walked upstairs to a new floor and paused, the left hand floor cracked. He turned right, shoes tapping rhythmically against the fake marble, stores still open, many ransacked. The glass cieling in the center had broken through, and the area underneath, what was once the food court, was nothing more than dirt.

"Here we are." Hal pointed to a shop made specifically for suitcases and bags. "It looks the most exploited, but we should be able to find something.

"There might be, I will have to check the store map and ways around. A lot of the floor seems weak in some areas and I don't want any of us to fall. We might have to find a way back downstairs after this to find a purse store." and looked around the stores he could see, judging by the map in his mind.

"You'd look great with a Gucci purse." he chuckled.

Hal laughed, "I'll be sure to find one, then." And looked at the duffels, nodding. "We can transfer the things now, we have the time and he is sleeping." and nodded over to the boy. "We have time, and we can take shelter in here during the night. There is plenty of paper to keep us warm."

Dropping his own backpack the android unzipped the duffel and slowly started transferring things over before pausing and turning The canine had done the same, listening to something the humans couldn't hear. "Could you finish packing these?" he asked the ginger, standing to walk onto the hallway balcony.

The signal was faint, having to look through walls, but there were heat signatures, at least four from what he could already see, scanning he surrounding area. They looked like they had some intelligence, one being the leader and giving orders. Doing a quick scan of the map given to him he rerouted themselves for avoidance. It would be difficult, but the trio could avoid them if they were slow and quiet.

Hearing Momo's question he nodded, changing filters to avoid seeing the red-hot of his human. "Purses, down this way." and continued walking down the balcony.

"He had just noticed a small animal. The heat signature was so small I could barely see it. Perhaps he's hungry." But loyal enough to stay despite being hungry. "We'll eat in a few hours, Cujo." The android pat the beasts head and looked around at the purses, noticing brands Momo's mother mentioned she wanted. She would have loved this teal one.

"Fashion isn't really a priority at the end of the world." he chuckled, picking up another one before looking over at Monoki's bags, nodding. "The second one looks good. But remember we're to going to be carrying a lot. Just enough to survive until our next city. And Malcom is much smaller so he should really only carry necessities." Hal could withstand the weight and pressure. He could carry steel bars with some minor difficulty and withstand bullets. A tank bullet he could withstand but he would suffer intensive outer and interior damage if hit in the right spot.

The maned-wolf stood at attention, giving a low growl at the entrance of the department store before silencing, stance barely wavering.
