Never Again...Herald gave a smile and nodded, standing up and taking off his s**t before removing the rest of his clothing and stepping into the bath. He laid back and put his hands around Emma's waist, setting her into his lap while he rested his head against the back of the tub. He kept his hands on her waist, still smiling. "At least we both made it out alive," Herald said after a moment, grateful for that. Will I be bound in chains

Emma smiled slightly before resting her head on Herald's chest "Very true." she told him with a laugh. "We also have a chance to become stronger. That will make the victory more bitter sweet." she told him with a grin.

Never Again...Herald nodded, returning her smile as he moved his hands up her sides. "They won't know what hit them. Being rid of Divine once and for all will be a breath of fresh air for everyone, including us. He's been nothing but trouble since his very existence and that itself has lasted too long." Emma nodded once again before closing her eyes and relaxing some more. "Thank you for not overly doing it and getting yourself killed." Emma told him with a joking tone after a few moments of being quiet.

Never Again...Herald nodded silently, taking a deep breath as he thought. Normally he would have stayed behind and died without a second thought. Even then he had been strongly considering it. He was still angry that he had to turn tail and run, seeing it as a failure on his part. But why had he done so? He looked down at Emma as his hands moved up to her shoulders and he rested them there. He looked back up at the ceiling as he thought about these things, raising one hand to gently stroke her hair as he did so. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald looked down at Emma before pulling her up slightly and kissing her on the lips. "Nothing important," he told her, not wanting her to feel guilty for asking him to leave, nor was he sure how to explain it. "Besides, it's better to focus on the here and now with us." He began rubbing her back, taking his mind off the issue of Divine and the previous battle. "And enjoying this moment," he added. Will I be bound in chains

Emma smiled up at Herald "Alright, I have no objections to that." She said before kissing him for a few moments and pulling back. "You looked pretty cool fighting today." She complimented with a grin.

Never Again...Herald gave Emma a small smile. "Indeed. My new form is much stronger than my normal one. I'm still learning its potential. Your 3rd transformation was interesting, even if it bothered you. You were able to defeat that bird, Scratch without much help from anyone else. As a direct servant of Noira, he was surely a formidable opponent." Herlad kissed Emma on the neck for a few moments after he spoke, feeling his heartbeat begin to quicken. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald nodded as he continued downward. There would be no mercy for Divine. Not that Herald was one for showing mercy against his opponents anyway. He tried to think of potential ways to kill Divine but none came to mind. He supposed he would leave Eric to think of those as that was more his forte. He closed his eyes as he pushed those thoughts from his mind and focused on Emma. They were together here and Divine would never find them. Will I be bound in chains

Emma began feeling her face heat up again and glanced to the side as she sat there. Eventually she did her best to muffle a small laugh. "How would this look if you were in one of your other forms?" she wondered aloud. "Not that I want to test that theory out I don't think this tub could fit eight foot tall you." she joked.

Never Again...Herald grinned as he continued back up. "In the bathtub I would probably smell like wet dog, and I'm sure going all the way in one of those forms would be painful for you." He laughed to himself as he reached her neck again before leaning back against the tub looking down at Emma as he set her back on his lap.
