"An angry, bloated Roan?" Gatz sighed and shook his head, restraining himself for once. As he jest the shadow at his feet seemed to thicken slightly, becoming darker than the light should have allowed. "... Please, dear, you're making this way too easy for me."
And with that he leapt forward, pouncing at Roan. The shade underneath of him followed his flight, naturally, just as a normal shadow should have. "Speaking of which--!"

Down from his position, Quint's bats resumed their jobs of keeping him in the sky, the strain noticeable even with his experience with flying. Even with his itch to fight, there was that strong part of himself telling to stop this while he was still marginally alive. One hand on his stomach, and the other shaking at Roan, Quint growled to himself, I'm learning that I'll have to be much stronger, that's for sure. Even wounded, his spirit kept his mouth talking. However, it was quite evident that he was in no position to continue, and his voice matched that.

Morrigan shook her head with a mixed feeling of embarrassment and disgust. She had quite a few things she wanted to say, but decided to save them in favor of something shorter:
"Quint... remind me to lecture you once everything is finished here."
Even though Morrigan considered herself more "allied" with Quint than with Roan, that didn't mean that Morrigan had a reason to be angry with her. As far as she was concerned, only those with power have license to run their mouths, and Quint, at least at this moment, clearly did not have such a license.
Turning back to Ice, she continued, "So what do you say, darling? Are you up for it?"

Rioushu got out of his safe spot and went back into the open, careful of Roan's next move. Ice didn't interest him, he hadn't displayed any kind of power Rio cared about. He looked at Quint's condition and smiled, not because he was glad to see Quint hurt, but because he knew that Roan would give him a fight for his life, he needed to see someone beat, his blood boiled when he thought about beating the holy hell out of Roan. And it wasn't just her, he needed someone, anyone, to unleash his need to give out pain, and she just happened to be on everyone's hit list. He knew he couldn't finish her off however, he could definitely destroy her body, but he doubted that would kill her permanently.
After debating with himself whether to ask for help, he turned to Gatz as Gatz seemed to show knowledge of Daemons that Illdan seemed to keep from him, possibly to see his own daemonic hide. "Yo Gatz, I'm gonna bust up Roan, but I don't think I'll be able to send her to hell, how about you? Wanna help?" Rioushu asked, he knew Morrigan would disapprove, but she would disapprove more of him killing her if she stopped him, so this was his choice.

Small gasps of air, one now sitting position, and Quint still with a hole in his chest. He answered Morrigan dutifully: Noted, and a memo has been made. Quint yawned then, and even though his wound had slowed its bleeding, he was still in trouble since that last attack had, once again, drained most of his power down to his reserves. That would be the first step in improvement: Endurance, or at least learning not to burn out ten minutes into a fight.

((*Slaps a sign on Quint's head that reads "Bigger nerd than Roan"*))
Overhead, the sky suddenly became darker. For that matter, everything seemed to grow darker. It was as if some otherworldly presence was sucking all of the light from every possible source, and even a few impossible ones as well. Though reeking still of impressive power, even Roan’s electrically charged body seemed to dim in that instant.
Morrigan never had a chance to receive an answer from Ice. Humanoid living shadows sprung from the ground and pounced upon her. There were signs of a brief struggle from that inky black half-sphere that had formed around her. In a short amount of time, those ceased, and the bubble-like structure deflated into a flat circle upon the ground. Then the humanoid shapes fled from that circle, causing it to diminish rapidly as they returned to whence they came. There was no sign of Morrigan thereafter, but upon their departure the light returned.

"Ahh... AHHHH!" Lilith screamed as she witnessed what just happened to her sister. She broke from Dante's grasp and ran over to where she just was, pawing at the ground like a frantic, sad puppy.
"Where did she go?! Where did she go?! Where did she go?!"

Still in awe himself of what could have happened, Quint answered Lilith without that raised, frantic voice some got under stress. Honestly, worrying like that won't get you anywhere. Sitting up, he winced as a piece of clothing touched the wound, Searching helps, but only if we know where she might be. Now kneeling next to Lilith, he touched her lightly on a shoulder, Have any idea of someone that would want to take her away, and not simply kill her? Quint hoped this narrowed down the list, because kidnappers historically usually didn't want to hurt the victim.

((I'd guess that it's because the phrase "simply kill" isn't something that can be applied to one such as Morrigan.))

((Didn't want to say 'simply', but if someone wanted to kill her, they'd just come out and do it, and leave the theatrics at home...I guess..))

Quint B. Have any idea of someone that would want to take her away, and not simply kill her? (( 3nodding Yes you did. Besides, there's numerous tatical reasons for seperating someone out from the main group, the old "divide and conquer" tatic being the most obvious. Then there's more subversive reasons, which would take a lot of detailed explaination... If you want to look at it from a different angle, pulling Lilith and Morrigan apart keeps them from joining together and becoming a real power-house. Or since it's Dante who's posting, he may actually be trying to keep Morrigan from harm by keeping her out of the fight... Like I said, there's lots of reasons. This reminds me--I really ought to finish reading Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" at some point.))

Many answers may have been offered to Lilith's question, but none of them would have come from Dante. The moment she had ran away from him, he fell backwards and landed on the ground with a thud. Perhaps she had, at the time, been the only thing holding him up? Regardless, all signs pointed to his being unconscious, save the fact that he had not received so much as the blow back from any of the attacks that had recently been thrown around. He wasn't the sort of person to faint, or even to fall asleep outside of his designated hours ... so then why?

Hmm.
*Roan watched the scene with Morrigan with some interest, though she made no move to ontervene... why should she? But that wasnt to say she didnt notice Dante fall.... A small nod between her and Ice was all that passed, the faun vanishing into the ground as she landed neatly by Dante and checked his pulse, Rayth making cautious pords at his unconscious mind*

Keeping serene in attempting to warm the situation of Lilith, Quint felt Roan move, his battle sense still unfaltering. Looking up, he raised a brow at the lady bending over towards the only person that was still missing from the wrecking: Dante.
Now, as someone who liked things neat, Quint sometimes gets worked up too much, trying to keep order in his wake. Trying to console Lilith was easy, since it was not only hopefully soothing to her, but also to Quint, which slowed his heart rate. This however wasn't only a mystery, but exciting at that, rapidly increasing the pace at which his body tried to get blood around, but it kept finding this break in the road..
Suddenly dizzy enough to tilt over, he barely getting a hand up to stop the fall, Quint smiled to Lilith, all three of her.
Tell you what. We'll figure this whole thing out very soon. I'll just think about it over here..
Wham. Before Quint could even lie about where he'd be, his injury finally put him under conscious, he recumbent on what used to be the clothing closet.

"I don't want it figured out soon, I want it figured out NOW!" she whined at an apparently lazy Quint, who had taken the luxury of falling asleep."Wake up! We have to find her!" She was kicking him in his sides for a while, ignorant of the fact that the massive pools of blood might have something to do with him not responding to her. After a few seconds, she realized that Quint was not going to be able to help her. "You!" she said accusingly, turning to Ice. "What did you do to her? Where is she?"
