It was raining again. Looking out her window, Aedre smiled a bit. It was dark out, from the clouds and the time of day. The days here passed...well, they passed easily, she guessed. Sort of dull, but easy. They had books here they let her read, a guard bringing them to her since she wasn't allowed to leave the room. Even with the collar and all the ward around the building, they still acted as if she were a threat. It was funny, since the naiad wasn't a violent sort of creature at all. But amused as she was, she also hated being trapped like this. She was bored, plain and simple. No one really came to see her, though that was a good thing in her opinion in the end. And while it was peaceful, she missed...she missed being outside. She could only take so many baths before going insane and wanting to go jump into a river, even the salty sea would be a pleasure from the tepid tapwater she was stuck with, no life at all in it. At the same time, she wasn't sure she wanted to leave and face whatever sort of master she might end up with. There were so few creatures the naiad could really tolerate, or that she wanted to speak to. Even being listed as a companion slave...well, they all seemed to think she'd drown them in their beds or something along those lines, simply because she could manipulate water. Maybe they thought she'd turn into some...crazy...water killer? She had no idea. Talk about a lack of trust in your provider of goods, she thought sourly. It wasn't as if the woman in charge made certain what slave belonged where, after all, using spells to extract the truth to make sure nothing was a lie.

That hadn't been pleasant. Shuddering at that, the female propped her chin on her palms as she rested her elbows on the windowsill and watched people come and go. There was always a steady stream of them - never too much, never too few. Back and forth, back and forth they went, usually leaving with one or two slaves following. Some of them looked happy, others looked angry or sad. While Aedre sometimes wondered what their stories were, or what they would be...well, she hardly cared in the end. Her own was too long and there were days she wished it would come to an end as well. But naiads didn't die, not unless her stream was destroyed, and the last she had been able to check up on it, it was still fine. Deep in the woods and safe from any construction or interference by men. Biting her lip, she wondered what it would feel like, how she would know, if her stream did dry up one day. Would it hurt? Or would she simply go to sleep and not wake up, like so many humans claimed was the easiest way to go? She chalked up the thoughts of death to boredom and nothing else, but the naiad was fairly certain it was something else as well. A tiredness, a weariness in her soul that only grew heavier with each passing year. She had no friends, no family, nothing at all. And before that had been fine. After her husband...being alone, having the river as her company...it wasn't enough anymore. There was a void only companionship could fill and she had gotten more than her fill of that over the years, being traded like a playing card from one man to another, all of similar wants and tastes and temperaments. All human, all dull.

Uncrossing her legs, she got up and went to the small desk she had. There were a few books there and she picked up one at random. They were all read already and she was merely waiting for a guard to come by and take them, bringing her some new ones. They were nice to her, as long as she was polite to them, and didn't seem to mind doing such a small thing. She wanted to go out in the rain, feel the cool, fresh water on her skin, not the filtered stuff they used here. Sighing, Aedre set the book down again and picked up another one, skimming it and growing antsy. She always did during storms, wanting to be out in them, and paced around a bit anxiously. Usually she was left alone during storms, as if they knew her mood would shift and she might actually dare to try and escape. Well, she wouldn't. When there was a knock on her door, the naiad turned a bit to face it, an eyebrow raising in surprise. "Yes?" she called. When it opened, her eyes widened a bit. While she didn't know what the man in front of her was, she could smell her own element on him and knew he was...he was something with water, that much was certain. "Are you sure you have the right room?" Aedre asked him doubtfully, setting the book back down and watching him.

Yes it was raining again, the worst day for him, his clothes would get wet if he stepped out of the car because of this ungodly rain, he despised it quite fully. Hissing as he felt the car come to a full on stop, his body lurching forward as he grappled onto the seat in front of him, mismatched eyes glared back at him in the driver's mirror, "Sir were here." the chauffeur mumbled lightly looking normal but on the inside he was snickering about the fact the young master had to do something like this once again. Shooting a glare outside as he adjusted himself to sit up once more, eyes peering through the haze of the rain he was able to make out the outline of the large building, that was right, he was here to get a pet or whatever on mother's orders. Grimacing, he wasn't looking forward to it, mainly because sharing his house was a pain in the a** since his home was all one story. Then his workshop was upstairs above his home, he bit his lip lightly as he continued to look at the haze of rain, he didn't bring an umbrella because it wasn't raining where he was; he didn't bother to check the weather either. Sighing as he braced himself, repeating over and over that he would just grab a dress up doll, something to treat like a toy, something he could enjoy as long as she didn't trash his stuff. Opening the door, he could feel the water splatter his face, he hissed in detest, it was cold and he would be wet, not his most favorable condition. Biting his lip some more, he would breath in a couple of times before jumping out of the car and sprinting to the door that felt oh so far away.

Bright hair dampened down to blond with a pink streak through it, generally it was green, but some new product he was using that was unbelievably expensive changed depending on if he was in the light or the dark, it was alright for his hair, but being unable to maintain one color was a pain in the a**. Running his fingers through his hair he would push it back, neck stretching to reveal multiple piercings in his neck and collarbone, odd ones that most people didn't quite grab. He liked them, he liked them quite a lot, it was different from the everyday just like him. Sighing as he would glance around at all the well dressed people around, noticing one or two suits of his own design on some men as they left with young women in tow. Kim could already grasp what they were for, thankfully he wasn't interested in such a thing, he wanted a dress up doll, not a sex doll. Wandering up to the counter he would wait patiently, well as patiently as Kim could get. Fingers tapping on the desk anxiously as he would slowly start to get agitated after only a moment or two. He was on the verge of yelling for someone when a woman rushed up quickly and smiled, asking normal questions and explaining that she was the mistress of this place, "Don't give a ********, I'm looking for a slave who won't give me trouble in being pampered." he'd snuff looking down on the woman to an extent. She merely brushed off his rudeness and lead him down a hallway, it was only a few moments before he was put into a room with some strange woman.

Discolored eyes would scrutinize the woman's look, judging her easily in terms of her looks and how she could be dressed, he looked probably quite young to the woman. Not like it mattered since he could buy her and do as he pleased, "White hair...thin figure, pale palor...no blemishes." he mumbled looking at her legs and arms now, "Hrm. You look literally like a porcelain doll.....personally you need a new wardrobe." he'd snort before glaring at her again, "And a little more make up wouldn't kill you either." he'd mumble staring at her eyes, they were nice, but they could be outline more as compared to the rest of her face, "I don't feel like being here much longer, do you have any objections to being a toy lady?" he said hotly, it was clear he really didn't care if she did, he would still buy her and do as he liked, not like she could really stop him right?

Oh god, she was wasted here! Groaning dramatically at the rain, Katherine paced around a few times anxiously before flopping onto her bed and looking up at the ceiling in frustration. She was bored, the collar kept her from having any sort of fun, and worst of all - the clothes sucked! Black was not her color, and that was all they put her in, like she was some sort of ghost person. Granted, they were expensive, but expensive did not make something good! And for her, this wasn't good. Not at all. She looked ridiculously pale and even skinnier than she was. Ugh. It was horrible to look in the mirror and feel like she looked sallow. And no makeup! What, did they think she was going to McGyver her way out of her or something with a blush brush? As if. Snorting to herself, the young woman paced around again, hips swaying. Even while agitated and pacing around like a fool she had the walk of a model, hips swinging, heel-to-toe and back again, her heels quiet on the carpet as she moved around. They had offered her books, but she'd rather have a TV. And they wouldn't give her one of those, either. Her mood went down more and more the longer she was stuck here. Who wouldn't want a prize like her? Did they not appreciate who was in here? It was insulting, being locked away in this room and relying on the goodwill of utter strangers who were more than likely dolts and couldn't appreciate a piece of art if they were bashed in the skull with the frame of it.

Grumbling to herself, Kat looked over to the door when someone came in. He looked rather odd, and young, and blinked as he began to size her up. Listening to his mutterings, she voiced the odd protest. Returning his glare with one of her own, she drew herself up to her full height and tossed her head at his question. "My name is Katherine, show a little respect, or at least think of a nickname," she snapped back at him. "And of course I need a new wardrobe, you think I picked these things out? Black looks terrible on me, and they refuse to give me makeup," she complained. Huffing a bit, she flicked her hair out of her face. "Honestly, you act like I'm here living it up. If you're going to be the one to provide the new wardrobe, I'll be your little toy all you want, I don't care. But I warn you, I have expensive tastes and I deserve the best, so don't think you can get away giving me cheap knock-offs or crap from department stores." With that warning delivered, it was her turn to circle him, sizing him up and unsure what conclusions she came to about him. She hardly cared that he looked young, she wasn't much for sex. Too much work, sure it was healthy, but then everyone got all clingy and attached and it was just...so messy. No.

"Anything else you want to check? My teeth? My gait?" she asked sarcastically. As if she'd let him. Flashing a toothy smile as if to make a point, she crossed her arms under her breasts and peered at him. "I just want to know what sort of toy you think you're buying here. Pamper me all you want, but try to get me in bed and I'll do quite a bit of damage," she promised him. "If you want a toy, I'm a doll. And more like Barbie than a blow-up, just so we're clear. If that's fine with you, I say we leave, I'm tired of this place and bored out of my mind. I need a mocha cappuccino, some chocolate and something that doesn't make me look like I'm trying to emulate the Grim Reaper," Kat continued plainly, her hands moving to her hip. Looking at him, she waved him to the door. "Well? Are we going, or what?" He looked too young to want a sex slave, but boundaries were boundaries, after all. And she wanted to leave. The nerve of the brat, saying she needed makeup. Makeup was to enhance beauty that was already there!

Senritsu
────────────────────────────────────────

"State your thoughts clearly, unless you wish me to be confused?"

Senritsu stood fairly rigid, hands in his pockets as he followed after the guard, eyeing him lightly as if he were a threat but soon excusing it because the people here still probably couldn't capture him. Scratching absentmindedly at his tattoo with his free hand, he was listening to the storm outside, enjoying the lulling sound of the rain, he was more excited to leave than anything else. Turning his attention to boys and girls that passed with older people of the opposite or the same sex, it was almost bone chilling to him to watch the scared looks on the younger human's faces, or that of the young were child who was with a fanged witch. He almost felt pity, or something close to it, if it weren't for the fact that worse has happened to other people. Whether the children got killed or beaten by their owners was all their business, none of his, no reason to dwell on something that had nothing to do with him. Looking down the hallway at the many corridors, he would see something approaching the two of them, the guard stopped as a woman came up and started to move around him in a circle. It was unnerving, "Mister! I'll take this one!" the woman stated with a bright smile, the guard shook his head, "Ma'me this is a....buyer." the guard searched for a word to call him, but the message was more or less ignored, "Buyer? He couldn't be! He is dressed so poorly, are you trying to fool me?" she asked looking up at him expectantly. His emotionless face didn't even falter at her accusation, "You could find out in the after life once I devour your bones." he stated looking down at her with a cold gaze. The woman froze a bit and backed off quickly, running away back towards the main lobby, he turned to the guard who had stiffened up considerably and continued on towards one of the many doors.

Stopping at one he would glance at the room, he could feel it, something a kin to water, something that was born of it much like himself, he breathed in slowly as he would look up to the guard who had stopped to stare at him, "This one. I wish to see it." he indicated the person that was probably residing in the room. The guard looked mildly shocked but would nod lightly and turn his attention to the door, the knock and the proceeding events did not need the overview as he would take a step in. The dragon couldn't help but eye her in question, the way she addressed him was....fairly funny, she didn't seem scared of him or the guard at all, and she didn't act like the frightened people he saw earlier. Giving away no emotion other than a little curiosity he would walk towards her, towering over her instinctively as he continued to look down on her. Mind flitting about for a response to her earlier question, "You.....you come from the water. I know it." he mumbled his stare turning into a slight glare, "What do you do woman?" his tone was commanding almost, he wanted to be a threat to her, to make her fret or feel even a little scared. The guard backed out of the room leaving the two in the room together, he was quiet as he waited for what she had to say. His eyes mimicked the waters of the ocean when a storm was around, hazing over a little with a darker gray color. It was a slight distortion, not something one would notice right off the bat, but the way he was looking at her, it wouldn't be all too hard to notice. Sen would just glare down at her intently, he wanted his answers, nothing more, and he would go to the length of smacking her down if she decided to tell him no, not like he was against enforcing a little discipline, though he doubted it would come to that.

As he walked over to her, she raised an eyebrow. He was powerful, and old, that much any supernatural creature would have been able to tell. If they couldn't, well, they were an idiot then. When the creature loomed over her, Aedre supposed he was trying to intimidate her and merely looked back up at him calmly, without even the slightest ripple of fear in her frame. His eyes were like the ocean she had seen once, stormy, and the magic in them made her own widen a bit. It was clear he was...something, something of water, but it was so frustrating not to be able to guess. "My name is Aedre, not 'woman'," she corrected him, her tone rippling with faint amusement rather than irritation or anything of the sort. "And I am a naiad. I'm sure you know what sort of powers that entails." There seemed little point in explaining herself to him, not when he was glaring down at her like that. "Really, I don't know why you're giving me such a dirty look, we've hardly met." That was added as she gave him a faint smile. It verged on a smirk, but was too honest to be called such an expression as that. Rather, it was simply more teasing, perhaps baiting him a bit. She knew that in here, no one could hurt her without paying a severe, very heavy price that wouldn't necessarily be money alone. And Aedre had the distinct feeling he wasn't a cruel sort of person to start with. Not the nicest of people, clearly, unless he simply wasn't a sociable sort of man to start with. But not...not evil, not like some of the people she had seen coming and going from this place, clearly dark souls with troubled waters.

The naiad took a few pointed steps away from him so he wasn't looming over her and brushed some loose tendrils of hair from her eyes as she looked out the window. "I like the rain, I miss being out in it," she said absently. "I'm not allowed outside unless someone buys me, so I'm stuck in this room. It's beginning to get boring. So, even if you don't take me with you, I'll say thank-you for giving me someone to talk to, even if you leave without saying another word," she continued. Looking back to him, she gave him another one of those small smiles that weren't clear if she was trying to be nice or just polite. Shrugging a little bit, Aedre moved over to him again, though not as close. While she was intimidated, she wasn't afraid of him and wasn't going to cower. If he wanted someone to simper for him and fear him, well, then he was getting the wrong slave. She was quiet, polite and accommodating, but only if she liked someone. And even then, only if she wanted to do those things. Anything else was thrown out the window like dirty bathwater in the old days.

Kim's mind wandered away from him, her pale palor would need to become more even toned, if that was even possible, only god knew what her species was, he grimaced at such a thought. He could work with her regardless, not like skin color was the only thing about her, she had long white hair, that was a good thing, white went well with many colors if it was styled right. Putting his hands behind his head as he would begin to feel that normal itch of wanting to dress her up in something more suitable, he blinked as she would start on her own little tangent. Barely taking much interest other then the general information, Kathrine, complain, complain, complain, alright with being a toy, blah blah blah and then something about knock off, "Not like some low class slave would know who I am....I suppose it's no big deal since you'll be cured of your stupidity in a while..." he clicked his tongue lightly with a sneer. As she circled him he would merely stand still, though he was getting agitated with how she wore that god awful dress. His eyes narrowed at it every time it would drift along, sure it was an okay dress, but so many improvements could be made to it, especially for how she looked, he could fix it easily, but he was fairly reluctant since the woman was starting to agitate him. When she went on to ask about her teeth and how she walked, he raised an eyebrow, "Why would I put you on a cat walk? You'd probably make a fool of yourself." he'd snicker being cold and mean as he always was. Watching her flash her teeth he would lean a bit closer eyeing them as well, "You know, woman look so much better when their mouth remains shut." he'd state with a smirk playing on his lips.

As she continued on talking about not being pulled into bed, he would casually look at his nails, showing his disinterest, "If I really wanted to bed someone I could do much better...not to mention find something more suitable as well." he'd state, as she would go on and keep her haughty attitude he would shoot her a glare, apparently she was quite sure she was going. Looking at the ghastly dress on her, well more like glaring at the ghastly dress on her he would sniff, "You aren't walking out of here wearing that god forsaken thing. Take it off. You can walk out naked if your so proud of how you look." he'd state looking at her with all seriousness, though he was merely playing with her in his own sadistic way. In all honesty he was going to fix the dress real quick to make it look like he was waking out with something that could easily be called a model. Kim was all about his appearance and to walk back to his home with a....with a ghost wearing rags, well he wouldn't allow it. Also getting a look at what he would be working with wouldn't be half bad either, whether she was shapely or lacking, where he could make clothes that would focus on the features that looked good on her, things like that. He was most interested in her long legs, they looked nice and long, he could work with that and easily fix the outfit she bore to make it more suitable for how she looked. He always carried a sewing kit in his jacket so this wouldn't be hard to do for him, he could work with the material's she had in her wardrobe as well, staring at her expectantly as he managed to retain his serious look, though he wanted to burst out laughing. His childish side still hadn't evaporated and he still enjoyed putting other's down, something he liked to do to model's in his spare time if they were being absolute bitches about what he dressed them in.

She just rolled her eyes at his bitching to her. As if she wasn't used to hearing someone try to tear her down. How did he think she had such good self-confidence? It came from not listening to a damn word anyone else said about her and only being sure in one person, herself and only her alone. He could say really all he wanted, if he thought she was going to sulk, or go sit and cry about it, well then his little sadistic streak was going to be disappointed. And although her eyebrow went a bit up when he said she was going to walk out naked, she didn't give him much more reaction than that. Really, if anything the young woman was amused at his little order and intrigued by it as well. It wasn't as if she had much shame about her, as he was going to find out. Shrugging, she bent her leg and reached around the pull one shoe off, and then repeated the action for the other. She actually rather liked those and set them down neatly on the floor. "All right then, as long as I get a towel to dry off in. Unless you want me to catch a cold on the way back to wherever it is we're going. I'll just be more of a bother then, although you could dress me up in red. That will surely match my nose, at least," Kat pointed out in with a snicker to herself, more than to him. The esper was her own worst critic. And was slightly surprised he hadn't asked her what she was. With her coloring, the other people that had been in there to see her, that had been their first question from their mouths. Hearing she was basically a 'special' human, they'd expressed disbelief, even going so far as to call her liar. Why the hell would she lie about that? If she was going to lie, she'd make it much more fantastic and interesting. Oh well, little minds, little dreams, she supposed.

Shrugging a bit, the young woman pulled off the top and skirt, setting them on the bed and in her underwear now. "Is this good, or do you want me to take these off as well?" she asked him, mostly sarcastic and expecting him to tell her to just to try to humiliate her more. Her hands went to her hips again as she stared him down, a tiny bit shorter now that she wasn't in her heels. "I don't have much more else, it isn't like they're going to waste money on a slave, after all. But if you want to have a look, go knock yourself out," Kat added, gesturing to the closet that only had a few pieces inside of it. Nothing very expensive, nothing new, and nothing that really suited her much at all. They were just...things to wear so she didn't lounge around in her underwear, she supposed, though why they cared she didn't know. Maybe she'd be sold off faster if they tried that angle, she thought with an amused snort to herself at the thought of that. Auction her off like this and see how high the bidding went. Well, with what men liked nowadays - skeletal and dying, it seemed like - she doubted she'd go for much. There was no accounting for taste.

Senritsu would stare down at her, still observing, waiting patiently as he normally would have, when she seemed to lack any fear or sign of discomfort he would feel oddly intrigued. He made it a point to do something like this and generally everyone backed off, even Jace, though he cowered and whimpered like a child at the sight of anyone's wrath. When she clearly stated her name he would relax his gaze a little seeming to be more at ease as she seemed to hold a little spark of being defiant. It was refreshing to an extent. As she would continue on to say she was a naiad he would offer a spark of interest to cross his face, he knew what they were and how they worked, after all he was fairly knowledgeable after experiencing many different trades with different species. When she gave him a smile as he mentioned his dirty look well his lips twitched into a smile for a moment, amusement danced on his face for a few seconds before it would relax into a neutral look, eyes softening a bit as he allowed himself to not need to size her up any longer. She was no threat, and she wasn't threatened by him, despite his presence and his rather authentic and ancient aura. Slouching back slightly as she would take a few steps away from him to stare out the window, he would only watch with a reserved gaze. Listening to her mention not being able to go out in the rain and the like, he looked to the window as well staring out past it as Aedre would turn her attention back to him with a thank you. He didn't look at her at first, seemingly entranced by the falling sheet of rain outside, "I like it too. It smells better then the polluted air." he said quietly his voice edged with a slight fondness. He liked being in the water when it rained, the feeling of the earth revitalizing itself in rapid succession, getting angry and crying as if it was in pain, though bringing the sun out right after, as if feeling better. A strange characteristic he placed to it over the millions of years he has been alive.

Sen allowed his gaze to drift down to the woman as she stood in front of him again, he tilted his head and reached out a hand towards her, tilting her head up easily. Staring at the collar with a look of disgust, he could feel what it did practically, he wouldn't like feeling that on his own skin, not like they could make one big enough to fit him if he turned into his original form in the first place. Moving his hand away as his markings would seem to swim for a second, he was feeling anxious again, he wanted to go back out into the water once again, to enjoy it, but he was curious about Aedre, "Do you know what I am?" he questioned looking down at her again. Tension formed in his body as he stared at her, "Are you any good with pets...?" he mumbled, he wasn't all to sure about the charms themselves since he never owned a slave before, "How long are you able to keep yourself stabilized in sea water?" he asked her a few questions that would be based around what she might end up doing if he decided to keep her around. Body lurching slightly as he would feel the need to move about again, he really hated sitting in one place, his constant need to move like most water sources had pretty much turned him into a nervous nancy almost. Backing up a little as he would take her full figure in, committing it to figuring out what she would be useful for other than just watching over pets, if she was even capable with that. The most she could probably be of use for other than what he'd like would possibly be just a companion to talk to, her defiance was fairly fun, giving her odd orders and pissing her off wouldn't be too bad either. It was almost like she was a toy for him, but he didn't consider her in that way, maybe a play mate would be a better fit?

He seemed to relax, or something along those lines. Was he testing her somehow? That was a curious thought and she wasn't sure what to make of it, really. Shrugging a bit to herself, Aedre shook her head at his question, but before she could answer, he added a few more. He was antsy, that much was obvious. Was it from being in a place like this, she wondered, or from being inside at all? Or perhaps he wanted to be out in the rain too. Or, maybe he was just one of those people who couldn't sit still at all. He was nothing but a bundle of unknowns wrapped in a mystery and she wasn't sure if she liked it or not. "No, I don't know what you are, other than that you're very old and you're of water like I am," she told him calmly. "I'm guessing something with the ocean, or along those lines. I can see it in your eyes, and smell it, a bit. The salt lingering on you, or at least the scent of it. Like a memory in the air." That explanation was the best she could do and the naiad shrugged a bit. If it wasn't enough for him, that was his problem, she'd done the best she could. "As for pets, it depends what sort. Fish, obviously. If you have small things, that's fine. I like cats and dogs. I don't do so well with...horses, cows, livestock I guess. And any exotic things, well, you are on your own for those," Aedre continued easily, ticking things off on her fingers as she thought about it. "And I don't know how long I can stabilize myself in the ocean. I've only been once and I didn't go into the water. I'm a naiad," she reminded him patiently, "fresh water and salt don't mix very well, after all. I wasn't sure what would happen to me if I went in. I'm sure I would be able to stabilize myself fine, it was the chance of any side effects that worried me." She wasn't much for experimentation, especially when it came to things like that, things that could potentially kill her. Thinking over it and making sure those were the only questions she'd been asked, Aedre nodded to herself and then looked up at him curiously.

"Do I get to ask anything? Like, what your name is? What sort of pets you have?" she asked him easily. She wanted to know what he was, but with him asking her if she knew, the naiad had a feeling he would get to that in his own time. All she knew was that she had never met anyone who felt as old as he did and that intrigued her. Part of her wanted companionship, a friend, maybe more - it was why she had the heart, after all. And part of her was simply just bored and tired and wanted a rest. Maybe he'd let her have that, or at least keep life interesting enough that the thoughts of her river drying up would leave. Some days she wondered if they were premonitions rather than dark musings, but that led to even worse thoughts and the naiad shook it off in the next minute. Perhaps, if she asked nicely, they could go visit her river, make sure everything was all right. That wasn't asking too much, considering her life depended on it, was it? "Why do you want a slave?' she asked him curiously, watching him. She wanted to know what he would want from her, if it was going to be something she wasn't willing to give to him. It was dangerous, just going with someone and not knowing. She'd had to do that too many times in her life and didn't plan on doing it again, not if she could help it.

Kim would smirk as she seemed to be fairly strong willed with her confidence, something he couldn't break very easily, or possibly not at all. When she seemed to be unphased by his order he would watch her take off her clothing, little reaction anywhere in him, he had seen plenty of naked women before, men too, this was literally nothing to him. As she went on to say she wanted a towel and all that, her snide comment made him laugh as he stared at her exposed body shape now, her underwear wasn't superbly flattering, and her frame was well built. He approached her as he would circle around her again, easily reaching out to touch her hip and checking to see if it was prominent and would jut out, it didn't. Thankfully she wasn't a twig with her ribs showing and all that, he looked almost appreciative of what he had to work with. When she mentioned taking off her undergarments he would snicker, "Feel free, not like you'd need to wear them anyways." he'd snort as she would go on to well more or less read his thoughts. He hadn't noticed it earlier but she was mentioning things he thought quite a bit, "You aren't one of those annoying little psychic's are you?" he questioned as he moved back to where she tossed the shirt and skirt. Pulling out the sewing kit from his jacket he would toss the skirt on the bed and move to her wardrobe, glancing in he would find some bright red sweater and easily snatch it off the coat hanger and move back to the bed.

"Since you have a knack for running your mouth, why not talk about what you are and what you did before this?" he'd question not looking at her as he would start to fiddle with the skirt. He pulled out his scissors and with precision would work through the cloth cutting off the unneeded bottom to the skirt. Keeping it short and tight, he would make a small slit up the side to expose a good portion of her thigh, folding the ragged edges in and turning it into a nice designer styled hemming, he would then move back to the discarded skirt and cut out another piece in a circle and then make a type of belt for the top. He tossed the finished product at her, and then moved onto the sweater, it matched her shoes and was made of nice material, but god it was so ugly. Disgust was written across his face as he cut most of the material up, he would be more delicate as he took off the top part of the shirt, the part that was sewn over it to make it thick and warm, only leaving the softer and more loos material. It was slightly thin, but it was thick enough to keep one's skin from being exposed even when wet. Cutting down the collar to turn it into a V-neck that dipped low enough to show off her nicely shaped bosom while leaving something to the imagination. He would cut the entire shirt in half so that he was able to sew it so that it was tight on her skin to show off her shape. Sheering off part of it so that it would show off the earlier made belt that was attached to the skirt while still looking like it was all one dress. He would cut the sleeves down as well, leaving her nice arms exposed, biting the needle as he would toss the shirt to her and stand up, leaving the mess of the scraps alone he would pack his sewing kit away, "Put your shoes on you damn priss." he'd hiss, the ensemble looked designer made and well in fact it was. Kim after all ran the biggest designer company in the world at the moment.

                                      ooc ;

Hah! She didn't hear much bitching about her body, so that was one score for her, even if he wasn't going t admit it. At the psychic remark, she shook her head. "Even if I was, this collar keeps me from doing anything," she pointed out, watching as he went to the wardrobe. Snickering at his remark about running her mouth, Kat sat down, crossing one leg over the other and resting her arms on her thighs. "Oh, don't tell me you don't like listening to inane rambling? I'm just so good at it," she said, in a mocking tone, before clearing her throat. Well, at least he finally asked what she was and assumed she was mostly human. So good, no stupid comments about going through walls or anything like that. Watching as he began to expertly slice and dice through the clothing, she raised her eyebrow again. He was definitely someone with skill and someone with experience and talent, all of that in one package, especially for someone who clearly wasn't that old at all. Wondering what he did, assuming he had to be a designer of some sort, the young woman flicked her hair off her shoulder. "I'm an esper. I have limited telepathic ability. The ability to transfer information from my mind to yours. But no, I'm not a psychic, I can't read minds or anything ridiculous of that nature. God, why would I want to read peoples' minds? It'd make things even more boring than they already are," she remarked, wrinkling her nose in distaste. Catching the skirt, she wiggled out of her underwear and pulled the skirt on, finding that much more to her liking and it definitely showcased her legs.

"As for my history, it's a bit more colorful than my hair. Oh, I can also communicate with spirits, ghosts if you feel like it, but I can't order them or anything like that. It's more just having another range of people to talk to, not that I can right at the moment," Kat continued with a slight shrug. "But my mother was a slave to a circus master, she had to work for him. She was just a human. I was born on All Hallow's Eve, which might be how I got my abilities. I'm sure you don't give a flying ******** how I got them, though. Actually, I'm fairly certain you don't care one bit about me at all and just figure me running my mouth is better than me silently judging you," she remarked with a snort. "Anyway, I worked there since I was six, doing fortune telling and seances, that whole cliche bit. After a few years one of the customers bought me from the man and when he got bored, sold me to someone else. I traded a few hands, always doing the same thing, sitting around like their private witch or something, and then I ended up here." Leaving her bra on as he handed her the shirt, she put it on and got to her feet. "No need to get nasty with me, I was just about to say how impressed I am with what you just did. Although I'm sure you don't care what I think of you, either, but still. Thank you, it's nice to wear something decent," Kat said, able to appreciate something that was well-made, and the talent he'd just shown. Slipping her shoes back on, she folded her arms and watched him, waiting for him to snap at her. Probably to follow him out like a good little b***h or something along those lines, she was sure of it. Well, someone nicer could have come and gotten her, she thought sourly. But maybe he'd warm up. Or at least get more tolerable. Or, more than likely, she'd just get used to it and ignore him.

Senritsu
────────────────────────────────────────

"State your thoughts clearly, unless you wish me to be confused?"

Sen could almost feel the water now, the hand in his pocket turned into a fist for a moment as he would feel an even stronger pull towards the water beckoning to him. Mentally he would shove the desire down, forcing it away like it was something unwanted, though it wasn't so bad to want to be in the water. As he would focus his attention on the naiad, keeping his desire to go under almost perfect control, he would listen to her somewhat accurate description of him. Old and made of water, then went on to mention the ocean she saw in his eyes as well as smell the salt lingering in the air about him. A smile graced his features, teeth slightly exposed as they remained completely straight and human, he didn't possess his fangs in his human facade, if he did she would surely figure out he was some form of beast, but he was too good with his shapeshifting for such a thing. The dragon would move to take a seat to listen to her, finding that standing was really not helping him out with wanting to move, this wouldn't make him feel much better, but it was better than having the need to jump out the window. Listening to her as he placed his elbows on his knees, propping his head up as he offered his full attentions to her. So, the one animal he owned, his russian blue cat Sapphire would be within her abilities to take care of, whether she could handle the wily little girl was another story. An all knowing look covered his features as he wondered how the girl would react to his ferocious feline. That would be an interesting sight to honestly witness, whether it would bode well for either the cat or the naiad depended on how the two reacted. When she mentioned she wasn't sure how well she could stabilize in salt water and then continued on to explain it to him as if he was stupid. The feeling of annoyance rose in his stomach, "I'm quite clear on what you are, and I know what they are able to do. Otherwise I wouldn't have asked. Do not name me for a fool nor an air head." he said in a quiet tone, the edge to his voice was that of clear warning about how she spoke. She may not have thought it to be rude, but he found it to be fairly disrespectful and he didn't appreciate the explanation in the slightest.

When she seemed to be more open she would ask him a few questions, looking slightly caught off guard by her own curiosity, he forgot that other people liked information on him as well. He wasn't the most sociable person if that hadn't become clear with his rough around the edges manners, he would remain quiet for a long moment trying to decide what he would like to answer. Tilting his head to the side as he looked a little thoughtful about the questions, he didn't seriously mind answering any of them, though he was questioning how to go about it. Clearing his throat he would think back to Sapphire, "I own a cat, her name is Sapphire though some tend to call her Saphy." he'd say quietly, "My translated name is Senritsu Sudvic, that is....rather, that is something for another time. My name is from nordic land though." he said easily, stopping himself from giving her a little too much info, she didn't need to know where his name was actually from since she probably didn't really care in the first place. Not to mention he was enjoying the mystery he could cast since she knew next to nothing about him. The shock on her face would be priceless if and when she caught him in his natural form, he was almost sure she wouldn't be able to guess solely from how he was. The last question was fairly sudden, he chuckled, a deep rumbling laugh that escaped him, "Whatever reason I came here for is not important for you. A slave, that is what you are, no matter what they boil it down to, you will always be of lower class." he'd mumble standing up, "I find you to be....fairly entertaining. Having a companion to come back too wouldn't be so bad. Long as you can stave off Jace's ignorant need to touch you, I'm sure you shall do fine." he'd snort lightly knocking on the door to inform the guard of what they were doing, "Naiad's originate from water sources....I'm sure you are worried about where you were birthed from yes? Where would it be located?" he questioned turning to eye her while they waited.

Kim blinked as he would take a glance at her when she mentioned that she had that collar that didn't allow her to do anything anyways, he wouldn't mind it too much, not like he could take it off at the moment. He would listen to her as she made a snide remark about him wanting her to keep her mouth busy, "It's easier to work when you keep the other person occupied, not to mention having some noise other than the rain is better than sitting in a bunch of white noise." he'd mutter not really caring about the sarcasm in her tone, he didn't mind it, not like he didn't hear it all the time as well. Working with his hands in his own skillful manner, he would be completely focused on his work, only catching what he felt was important information. She was an esper, something he never heard of, she had telepathic abilities though apparently limited, and she can transfer information, he glanced up at that looking slightly curious but would go back to his sewing rather easily. When she complained about reading people's minds he would merely snicker, she liked it better when people were unpredictable as compared to the same old same old, he could respect that. The same thing everyday was boring after all, that's why he liked to design clothes, making something new and exciting every day for himself to wear. With a new barbie he can do it twice, and then prance her around the office, the immediate thought of the other models made him smile. That is going to be the best part of all of this, the looks on the model's faces when she came down to mainly berate them and drive them insane, that was his favorite thing to do, but taking it to a whole new level with this woman, that would be quite fun.

He was quiet as she spoke about her past, barely listening at times as he did his work, she was fairly unbothered about speaking about her past, something he didn't mind at all since she just seemed to like being pampered and paid for. Something he could stand as long as she decided not to trample on any of his hard work, or touch things she generally shouldn't in the first place. When he finished and handed her the shirt, well the remark to him being rude was a form of compliment and then it turned into a thank you, he stared at her, "You actually have manners? That's a surprise." he'd snort moving up to her, his fingers were fairly fast, not giving her much of a chance to move away without tugging some of her hair out. Tying it up in a high pony tail while leaving her bangs down, he pulled a clip from the collar of his jacket, always having spares for god knows what he'd need. Moving her bangs to the side and easily slipping the clip in, hiding it with the hair that naturally pulled off to the side, he would move away from her and easily open the door, "Let's go Miss Barbie Doll, faster we get the damn rain over with the better." he'd huff stuffing his hands in his pockets and stepping out the door. He'd walk with ease as he had his hands behind his head, if the woman got a chance to look in the mirror, her ensemble would match that of a fashionable business woman, all she was really missing were the panty hose, the red lipstick and the eye liner to completely pull it off, though Kim didn't carry make up with him. Turning to glance back at her he would smirk, "If it wasn't for the collar you'd look like someone who actually worked for me..." he'd snort, "Though I'm more excited to see you going at the other models....really getting catty for once." he'd snicker looking fairly pleased at such a prospect.

ooc ; Feel free to indulge in her beauty, go nuts with it....making heads turn ti'll necks popped xD

When his tone changed to something so sharp, she blinked. To be quiet honest, Aedre was simply so used to people not knowing what she was, or not understanding what she was, that she had gone and explained it like she always had had to do without thinking. As he continued to speak, she frowned when he said she was 'of lower class' than him and wondered who this Jace person was. The only thing that soothed her slightly was when he actually asked about her river. Blinking, the naiad peered at him for a long moment, eyeing him right back. She drew herself up, not going to be intimidated and treated like she was any less worthy of respect than he was. "First of all, I apologize for explaining what I am to you as if you were stupid," she said, her tone sincere. If she was going to go with him, she wanted to be clear on where they stood. "I'm simply used to having to explain myself to people who don't know what a naiad is, so it was out of habit, not any attempt to be disrespectful." That said, she let out a sigh and looked over to the window. The rain was calling, it felt like. Perhaps it was a good omen that she was surrounded by water on a day like this. Or maybe it was a warning. It was hard to tell sometimes what anything was and she had long ago given up trying to read signs into things that simply didn't exist. Thinking over her words, what she wanted to say to this ancient creature, Aedre bit her lip. She was old herself. Not as old as him, clearly, but old enough to garner some respect as well. Asking for it from him was probably too much, but she wasn't going to go with someone who would just treat her like...like he was now, that she was just pond scum underneath his feet that he could scrub away any time he liked. Maybe she wouldn't have a choice if she went with him or not, but perhaps he wouldn't want someone who would actually speak their mind and stand up for themselves against him. She could hope for that, if he didn't like what she had to say.

"Second of all," Aedre continued, staring him down. "I am not of lower class than you simply because I am a slave, or weaker than you, or younger than you. Whatever excuse you want to give me, I won't accept it. I didn't choose to be a slave, many of us didn't. We were sold or tricked or captured and brought here. If you want to think that makes me lower class, that just makes you as arrogant and ignorant as the people who buy us, use us and then throw us away like we're garbage," she said. There was pain in her eyes, remembering the masters she'd had, the hurt they had caused, all because they had thought the same as this man. She set her jaw, her fingers curled in her dress. She was clearly nervous, but not going to cower for him. She couldn't do it, not after all this time. Biting her lip, she let out a breath, surprised she had been able to get all of that out without tripping over her own words. "I understand I owe you respect, you're older than me and that's simply the way of us," Aedre said, her voice softening. "But I won't be treated like pond scum." Shaking her head, she ran a hand over her face. "And my river is the Glan, in Carinthia, Austria. I haven't been there in...four hundred years or more," she murmured, longing for her home clear on her face. Of course she was worried sick about it, about what would happen to her if something happened to the Glan. But if she did die, she wondered what the man would do. What this Senritsu Sudvic would do. Probably mop her up and flush her down a toilet, she thought bitterly.

When he moved over to her and began to mess with her hair, she stayed still, not feeling like getting her hair tugged from her head. She could take the compliments however he gave them, so she didn't worry about it. Kat was more than used to snarky backhanded compliments and knew what they meant. The person was just cranky. She glanced into the mirror as he finished with her hair and smirked a bit. The style suited her and she rather liked it. Maybe a bit stiff, and not as much color as she liked, but still. It was much, much better than when he'd come in. If he could work this sort of magic with just these things, she was more than excited to see what he could do at his house. Sure that he did something with fashion, the young woman followed him out, hell-to-toe, partly to make a point that he could too stick her on a catwalk, or anywhere else, and she'd do just fine. Snickering a bit at his remark with getting catty with models, she raised an eyebrow. "So, you aren't a fan of them? Or do you just like seeing people fight with each other?" she asked in amusement. She didn't really care either way, as she wasn't much of a fan of models. They were all so...prissy and full of themselves. So if she'd get the chance to take them down a few pegs, or at least try, well. That would be fun, she had to agree with him there. So she liked irking people. It was just fun and no one ever really seemed to care, after all. It made life interesting.

As they left her room, a guard met them and escorted them to where they had to pay. There were plenty of astonished looks, especially from those who'd seen the girl when she had been brought in. It was like two different people and she was preening as heads turned, strutting after her new 'master'. So what if she was a Barbie doll or a dress-up poodle. As long as she got pampered, that was fine with her. While he paid, she put a hand on her hip, looking around. It was rather nice to get attention paid to her, and see this place as someone leaving instead of going. Once he was done with that, she followed him to the door and made a face, wrinkling her nose at the rain. Well, he'd said to hurry up, so she sprinted after him, surprisingly agile in heels as she followed him to the car. She was laughing a bit as she got in, wiping her face dry. "Well, that was refreshing," Kat said cheerfully, giving him a smirk as she flicked some rain from her hairline. Smirking, she sat back and crossed her legs, one knee over the other. "So, where are we going? And what do you do? I'm assuming you must be a fashion designer, with that skill you'd be wasted on anything else. What am I supposed to do, just...be your dress-up doll?" That thought appealed to her and she smiled. "That'll be fun, getting to wear things before everyone else and show them off. And you don't even have to pay me," she added with a slight laugh, shaking her head. As the car started she looked out the window, watching through the rain as they pulled away from that place. Looking back to him, she smiled, relaxing a bit now that they were out of there. "Mind taking this off? I can't do it myself and I think it's ruining the overall look you're going for," she pointed out, making a face and gesturing to it.
