Selphie wasn’t a big fan of the situation. It seemed illogical, irrational that this young man would force his Riolu into such a dangerous situation. “I prepare for the worst as well, dodge it Pidgey.” Pidgey’s speed was at its maximum threshold, meaning that moving was extremely easy. In the blink of an eye, Pidgey was twenty feet away from Riolu was aiming, also known as where Pidgey was flying half a second ago. “You had a plan I see, but what you failed to take into consideration was that I had Pidgey building its speed all those rounds. One rule I always go by is never underestimate opponents. Agility sharply increases speed, and the fact that I used it three times means that Pidgey is now faster than a Pidgeot.” Selphie pointed to Riolu who was in the air from attempting to use the reversal. “Sorry kid, but this is over. Pidgey, use gust!” Pidgey began to flap its wings with a blinding speed thanks to the agility. The wind would most likely throw the weakened Riolu through the air and slam him into the ground. “An advantage of being in the sky is that anything that jumps into the sky is immediately susceptible."

 » Ryan Snow » Party: Lulu Shadow(o.o Not that I wanna piss you off, but even at Lulu's weakend state she can just endure like she did in the beginning. But since that'd delay her eventual fainting and generate two more clutter posts, I'll let it hit 'nyway x3) Lulu flew through the air, right into Ryan's arms. He patted her. You tried to the best of your ability he told her as her consciousness slowly faded. Oh well she responded before going unconscious.
Ryan returned the Pokemon then belted the ball, shrugging. He tossed a bag of about 300 Yen at Selphie's feet. "This battle is over. Eevee's never battled on my command." as he walked off, towards the Pokemon Center yet again, he turned and glared at Chad. "This time you can hide behind others, but you and I shall battle, gay man." He sneered and looked at the entire group. "I assume you'd rather me call him 'gay man' then homosexual."
Ryan walked away.

[I think Endure is like protect, it works, but if you use it over and over, the likely hood of it working fades.]
“You’re unbelievable. He told you his name was Chad. We all have names, that’s what we address each other as. I’m Selphie, he’s Chad, and that guy over there with the Torchic is Kadaj.” Selphie decided to skip out on introducing Serah since she was evil and trying to steal Pokémon. “Not homosexual or gay guy.” Truthfully, Selphie didn’t like that he was still so mean, she had kind of hoped that winning would’ve taught him a lesson about not being so rude before you actually got to know someone. “There’s more to him than just ‘he’s gay’ besides, randomly calling someone a homosexual when you don’t know them is extremely rude.”
Selphie shook her head, clearly still not satisfied with knocking out Riolu. She held up a Pokeball and withdrew her Pidgey, kind of wanting to fight against Eevee with Croagunk, but decided knocking out two of his Pokémon would do anything for them.
She turned back to Kadaj and Chad to see how they were holding up in their battle.

He grabbed the Pokemon, pricking his fingers, and through it off. He quickly jumped up and released Shadow, who had no time to get his bearings before Cacnea slammed into him. He yelled and turned around, biting Cacnea on it's arms. Then they started fighting while Ryan put his shoes on and rubbed his arse and face.
Cacnea seemed to not know too many moves - he just enjoyed hitting the Eevee. Eventually, Shadow twirled around and slammed his tail into Cacnea, who slid back. Cacnea crossed his arms over his chest then released them and puffed forward. Needles shot off from his body in a flurry. Ryan hastily dodged them and returned Shadow - he was gonna get hurt if this went on.
The only way to stop this little harasser from attacking them was catching it. Ryan grabbed his Pokeball and chucked it hard. It absorbed the Cacnea in a flurry of light and Ryan fingered another ball, prepared to throw it again if Cacnea jumped out

Torchic jumped up and down in celebration for winning against Porygon. “Way to go Pepper!” Kadaj threw a thumbs up to Pepper who was glowing… Glowing? “P-Pepper!” Torchic’s body lit up and it instantly began to evolve, causing Kadaj to gape in awe. As the glowing vanished, a Combusken stood in the place of Torchic. “I-It’s a Combusken!” Combusken swung its legs around, doing a round house kick to the air, or something like that. “Alright! Now we can take on the first gym leader!” Pepper waved to Serah, almost as though he were taunting her. “Alright, let’s get this show on the road Serah.”
It seemed like Serah’s next Pokémon was Elygem. Kadaj remembered him from back in the city when she had fought them. “I guess this kind of puts me at a disadvantage. Psychic versus fighting and fire. Pepper use Mirror Move!” Combusken quickly reflected the Psybeam, sending it right back to Elygem. “Alright, awesome dude! Now let’s use sand attack.” Combusken nodded and kicked the ground, causing sand to whip up and block the view from Elygem, making aiming a whole lot harder.
Kadaj was rather excited about fighting with Combusken. This would be his first time fighting with a Pokémon that was evolved and truthfully, the idea of it was rather intriguing. He would probably withdraw Pepper though and send out Poochyena before the battle wore on, simply because Poochyena was much more capable of fighting psychic types like Elygem.
“Wow…” Kadaj hadn’t really noticed it before, but Selphie was pretty bad-a** in terms of battling. It must’ve been from all that travelling she did in the Kanto region. She did say she managed to reach the championships though in Kanto, so that made Kadaj wonder just how far she made it before she ended up losing. If she could win a battle against Riolu without getting a single scratch, then there was definitely something more going on in her head.

Ryan picked up the Pokeball and walked into the Pokemon center, slightly pissed off since he had needles all over his body. And his tailbone hurt quite a bit...
He placed his three Pokeballs on the counter. "Heal'em up good. Gimme some painkillers." Nurse Joy shook her head. "Painkillers? I can give you something generic but if you need something harder then-"
"Oh come on, just give me whatever you give the Pokemon whenever they need it."
"Sir, that's not meant for human use. It's highly addictive to humans." Joy advised. Ryan rolled his eyes. "How many Yen will it cost? What, a thousand for a bottle or so?" Joy scowled and handed him a bottle. He swiped his card and she gave his Pokeballs to Chansey, who walked away.
Ryan walked over and sat down on a sofa in the Pokemon Center. He put two pills in his mouth and swallowed them. Ryan rummaged around in his coat and grabbed his Poketech - it was much larger than an average Poketech. He messed around on it and checked his bank account before reading up on Cacnea. Cacnea tended to be rather friendly, actually, and Cacturn were pretty strong.

Chad watched in excitement as Selphie beat that guy in a battle and by the looks of it, she didn’t just beat him, she destroyed him! He did his best to be modest about it though. Chad wasn’t a big fan of taunting others after they were already done.
After the battle was over though, Chad looked up at Pidgey. He felt like maybe he should probably catch a flying type as well since they seemed to be rather extraordinary in battles. Then again, Chad hadn’t actually got to fight against Pidgey and it seemed like Riolu’s downfall was that it didn’t know any long-range techniques to shoot down Pidgey. Maybe if it evolved, it would gain a thing or two. “I guess Ninjask can fly, but its moves are pretty close range.” Chad realized that he was speaking out loud and decided to go ahead and talk to Selphie about the battle. “That was awesome! You really managed to pull off that victory, I don’t know if I could do the same, but I just need to get stronger and then I’ll see if I can handle it.” Chad had the idea of teaching his Pokémon the move protect since they’d seen it in action plenty of times when fighting against Serah. That would be determined later though, after they got to Paysage Town.
Chad was able to watch Torchic evolve, which was just as exciting, if not more, than watching Snivy evolve because unlike Snivy, Chad actually knew more about Torchic than he did about Snivy. “I think that the next Pokémon that’s going to evolve will probably be Pidgey if you keep up that training.” Chad smiled warmly before racing up to Kadaj to congratulate him on the evolving Pokémon. It wasn’t everyday your Pokémon evolved, so Chad wanted to make sure he let Kadaj knew that he was happy for him.

Ryan stood up, the painkillers kicking in. He welcomed the sweet feeling of numbness. He walked over to Nurse Joy and grabbed his Pokemon. He let Lulu out as he walked out of the center. Ryan walked towards the edge of the town, away from the other people, then let Crow and Shadow out. He nodded at Shadow. "Shadow, you need to work on your agility. Lulu, you need to build up a better defense. Crow, I need you to practice the Cacnea's wide arsenal of moves. All three of you, go at it taking what I said in mind. Lightly, this is practicing, not a battle."
Ryan sat down on a rock and examined his Pokemon. Crow shot a Pin Missle at Shadow, who failed to dodge it. Shadow got back up and slammed into Lulu, who took quite a bit of damage from it. Then Crow just started waving his hands around.
Ryan facepalmed. "This is going to take a while."

Selphie waved goodbye to the kid with Riolu that she never actually caught the name of. She didn’t turn back to the battle though, because a part of her knew that she was about to be onslaught with questions, but of course, she had to turn around when she heard that Torchic was evolving. “Oh no way!” Selphie took several step up to the evolving Pokémon, but didn’t get too close, otherwise that could be bad news for her in a way she didn’t really see possible.
After the Torchic evolved, she turned to Kadaj, “Congrats! You have a fighting type now, I think we’re all ready to take on the first gym, but I think there’s still just one tiny problem.” Selphie pointed to Serah. “End this up so we can go Kadaj. I know you can do it and I hope so Chad, Pidgey is pretty strong.” Selphie nodded happily before bringing her attention back to the battle.

Ryan yawned. He had told Lulu and Shadow to work on their individual skills then taken Crow aside to teach him a move. Crow was at his feet, puffing his chest, but nothing was glowing and no solars were being beamed. Ryan crouched down and repeated what he said earlier, "You have to gather energy from the sun then release it all in a single ray." He told Crow again. And again, Crow wasn't able to do it.
Ryan sighed and sat down. "Feel the heat around you. 99% of this heat is coming from the sun. Its particles are moving fast because they're filled with energy. You can take this energy in as more than heat. Take in as what it is - raw electromagnetic radiation." Crow became less tense and started to breathe in a cycle. Small balls of light start to gather around him and go into his body.
"Good! Store it, store it until there's too much. Store it until it's filled you up and you feel bloated with the raw power, store it until you want to EXPLODE!" Ryan shouted enthusiastically at his last words. He loved Pokemon and showed them none of the monotony or coldness he showed humans. Ryan hoped none of the others were close enough to see this. Wait, did he care? No, no, he di-
"CAC...NEA!" Crow puffed up his chest and roared (squealed). The energy that gathered around him prepared to explode. And so it did...in his face. Cacnea was blasted into the air. He eventually hit the ground, dazed and depressed that he couldn't do the attack. He eventually went unconscious.
"I guess you slightly overdid it...Oh well, we'll fix that. Take a nice nap." Ryan returned the Cacnea into its ball. Perhaps Crow, even being the most recent to be caught, was ready for the first gym, as he was very stubborn. But Shadow and Lulu were definitely not. Ryan walked over and patted the both of them. "You two tired? We can take an ice cream break." he asked. They both shook their heads, shouting the name of their species, and went back to sparring against each other.

A little while later, Ryan returned the other two Pokemon to their balls. He dropped them off at the Pokemon Center, making sure to scowl at Nurse Joy, and walked away. He went to a nice little Ice Cream shop and ordered four cones. He managed to carry them back into the center and told Nurse Joy to release his Pokemon for him. They all jumped and grabbed their individual icecreams, licking them and smiling. Ryan grabbed his three Pokeballs and belted them while nomming his own ice cream a bit. His Pokemon followed him out of the Center in a single-file line.
"You all trained well." he told them as he reached the edge of town, close to the path that would lead to Mammut Lake. He had finished his ice cream. Snow turned to his three Pokemon and returned Lulu and Shadow. "But you need some more training, Crow, so you'll be beating some wild Pokemon while we go towards Paysage Town." Crow let out a happy "Cak!" as they walked away from Vormund City and plunged back into the forest. (Going to Mammut)

Chad yawned and realized that it was already late and that he should probably get to Paysage before it grew too dark. “I think Kadaj is going to be fine. I’m going to go ahead, I’ll meet you two there.” With that, Chad ran off into the forest on his way to Paysage. He just hoped he’d get there before it was dark so he could challenge the first gym because quite frankly this was starting to take a long time.
[XD Sorry, guys, I kind of got bored of waiting for the battle to end.]

Maddie entered the city quite late. She wondered around and found the pokecenter. As she entered the center, her snubbull awoke. "Nub?" She looked down at him in her bag. "Un matin bonne petite." She pet his head. Maddie handed Grigri to the nurse to be healed.
While her pokemon were at the center she decided to stop in the pokemart. "Hmm." She stared at the packed shelves. She gathered the necessary items. Then payed for them. "Je vous remercie! Bonsoir!" She nodded at the cashier. She made her way back to the center. The nurse complimented her pokemons cuteness. Maddie smiled, and placed him back into her bag.
She stepped back outside, she yawned. As she continued out of Vormund she walked past some trainers. "Bonjour!" She called to them. There was a red haired girl with a pidgey,a muscular guy with a combusken and some odd girl. She stayed a moment and watched them.

Kadaj was in a battle, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t take some time out to say hello to the girl with an eccentric fashion sense. “Bonjour to you to!” Kadaj waved, deciding to go ahead and see what she was up to. After all, it’s not like Serah seemed into the battle either. “My name’s Kadaj, what’s a person like you doing all the way out here?” Her outfit didn’t seem to scream trainer, if anything, it screamed artist or something of the sort. However, Kadaj wasn’t ever one to judge, so maybe he’d get to know a lot more about some foreign region if he talked to her, although that was saying a lot from just looking at her oufit. “Nice uh, clothes?”

Serah groaned in protest as she watched the Torchic evolve. There was no way she'd be able to win, considering the fact that it seemed Kadaj had two more Pokemon up his sleeve and that powerful Pidgey the other girl was carrying with her. "Bonjour huh? I don't think I speak that language." Serah scowled at the three remaining trainers before ultimately deciding to withdraw Elygem before it could be hit by Psybeam. "I have places to be. We'll finish this battle later!" Serah released her Natu, which used teleport almost immediately, causing the two to vanish from sight.
