"Ha! You're braver than most of the people I've come to know over the years!" Ceramew laughed as she summoned up an Earth Power, a ring of lava surrounding her, shielding her from the Flamethrower and the Crunch. As the Earth Power faded, Ceramew was gone, having Teleported away into the air, her powers greater than they were before she was possessed. "So that machine over there, it was a chi reactor wasn't it? You used it to siphon out the fragments from the others and combine them with your own, using the other chi reactors scattered over the islands to power it. Makes sense I suppose...but one question if I may, how did you get the other Stone Society members to help you if they knew they were going to lose their powers, and life?" Sub asked the body snatcher.
"Oh they didn't know. They all thought we were trying to remove our fragments and become normal again, you see, we've all be haunted by a strange voice, influencing our thoughts. I however was strong enough to overcome this hindrance, they on the other hand began to come made, they were desperate, they would do anything I said." Ceramew said as he laid back in the air. "So all this was just to obtain more power for yourself?" Sub asked. "Hm...yeah, pretty much." The stranger responded. "But why? What's your goal?" Sub asked. "Goal? Why do I have to have a goal? I'm just in it for the hell of it!" Ceramew laughed, having grown tired of talking as she flicked down an Aura Sphere which whizzed through the air, following the Houndoom where ever it went.
"This isn't good, we have a body snatching Manaphy hybrid with half of the entire meteor in its possession, and on top of that it has no goal other than chaos it would seem. I'm sorry Sol, but if me and Blizz learned anything in our encounter with Kareem, the Banette kid, is that removing a meteorite fragment means death. The fragments are parasitic and feed off the host's chi, eventually the host completely relying on the fragment, and once it's removed..." Sub didn't say anymore, he felt bad for Sol, and Ceramew too.

Suddenly, Sol was also certain of another thing; there wasn't a lick of holding back. Then again, there was no inhibitions in the first place. What Sub said after the whole spiel only served to confirm what he feared. Knowing that Amaranth was backing off, he couldn't get her to fight. It was hard enough that he was making this kind of decision.
"In that case, let's worry ourselves with the matter at hand. We should have enough time to do so before the weather turns to rain." Sol said, doing everything to keep out any hesitation. He didn't want it to come to that, but what choice was there? It was either hesitate and die, or fight until someone else does. Either choice meant that sooner or later, there was going to be a casualty.
"Whoever or whatever you are, allow me to say this now. Most back off when presented with a choice like the one you've brought forth, especially when there's no other solution. Those people will say that because they're too close to them. What I do now is for that very reason, as I don't plan on any further deaths."
Flames would begin to dance around his flame, but not for a Sacred Fire attack. Not yet. He would, however, send Xipil back out. "Xipil, I'll need you as well. Ignore who the opponent is for now."
He'd rush forward at once following that, blade raised. Xipil was reluctant himself, but there had to be a reason for that comment. With a roar, he unleashed a Heat Wave upon the area.

Veronica called her pokemon back as the glow began, leaving only her Monferno out. So then... The scene freaked her out. Ceramew is being controlled? The conversations were a bit entertaining, she had to admit. But the last piece of information from Io was so expected and common of villains, after all, if they would die then what would any piece of information matter? That made her laugh lightly for a second, it was curious to see such a parasite at work - there was always something advance for pokemon and trainers to reach that she only wished would be found in books. However, attacking Sub was a whole other thing. Veronica took steps closer, Chi whined with uncertainty but remained by her. Of course it would just seek a form of entertainment once it has gotten its power. How would we kill the hybrid anyways? Having another ghost or something to take out the fragments would be much easier. She sighed, sending her Monferno to use Mach Punch against Aura Sphere frequently, until the fighting moves would null out.

Dan finally awoke after the explosion, still in a bit of a daze. He had successfully pulled Freya and Alex to safety and shielded them from the explosion. Regardless, it appeared they were both unconscious at the moment but still alive. "Ahh...is this mission over yet?" he commented to himself, standing up and looking around. Of course, the teen knew it wasn't, especially when Cera appeared to have finally lost it. She'd been acting weird during this entire mission but now it seemed she was possessed. Luckily, he was up in time to hear Ceramew?'s big reveal and the chaos to follow. "Ok...then it's a fight..." Dan decided and began looking for Shark. The dragon was no where to be found, when a large fin suddenly approached him and the Garchomp rose out of the ground beside him. Targeting the Aura Sphere as well, a Dragon Pulse was fired at the sphere, hoping to stop it in its tracks.

Ceramew just yawned as Sol rushed towards her and the Heat Wave was unleashed, the body snatcher utilizing Ceramew's Protect in order to shield its self with a green bubble of energy. "Is that all?" She scoffed, her Aura Sphere however was destroyed, not that she seemed to mind. "This is kind of boring. Hey, I got an idea! Why don't I show you that move she kept trying to use! Yeah that sounds good! Draco Meteor!" Ceramew cackled as she pointed a finger up into the air, a dark 'portal' opening up as a giant ball of sinister energy appeared from it, shaped like a Hydreigon's head almost, the dragonic energy flying down towards the island, threatening to destroy all on it. "...well, this fight just escalated quickly." Sub remarked.

Veronica nodded at the remark, almost pleased to actually see how the attack went. "Flame Wheel." she called, sending out her Luxray to avoid getting hit by the Draco Meteor herself. The Monferno would then roll in flames, not aiming straight for Cera. Instead, he hoped to burn the creature by grazing his side to it multiple times. Chi kept rolling to avoid its expected counterattack.

Sol wasn't able to stop his assault fast enough to avoid bouncing off the aura, but he was able to land and recover. Just in time to see hell unfold in a form that should've remained elsewhere. That was the true form of that move... no. For someone like that, maybe, but otherwise, this was a terrifying development.
His first instincts was to get Amaranth out of there, somehow. "Xatu, get Amaranth out of here, now!" He called as he let his Xatu out, long enough for her to attempt the command.
"Now, back to you, I'm amazed at the kind of power exhibited. However, I've a better idea." Sol said, before letting out his Gallade. "It involves far less moving. Gallade, Imprison!"
Perhaps a futile effort, but it might allow a focus on the matter just as bad, having Gallade unleash a strong round of Celestial chi, attempting to bind Ceramew. Or at least stop a tiny bit of her assault. Sol himself focused as much as he could to try and strike the meteor with a strong Psychic burst.

Chaos kind of balked when he had heard that there was no way to stop the person posessing Ceramew without killing the girl being posessed. He knew her from the night that Lusteater was born. If he had known that the girl's father didn't even flinch at the prospect of ending her life, he'd have flipped. As it was, though, he just took a moment to regain his composure. He didn't like what needed to be done, but hey, when has that ever stopped him before?
He ordered Deathgiver and Ragebearer, the latter being called out for this occasion, and ordered them both to use Flamethrower on the incoming meteor, to impede its coming if not destroy it entirely.

They succeeded in destroying the Aura Sphere, though it was so minor compared to the list of problem they had at the moment. The large meteor in the sky however was quite major. Dan's first instinct was to protect Alex and Freya, sending out Diva to provide a Protect over them. It wouldn't make a difference if they couldn't destroy that massive rock but if they managed that, the psychic could protect them from debris. The trainer swapped out Shark for Goliath, instructing a Hyper Beam at the meteor.

The Draco Meteor fluctuated and distorted as it was attacked, even Sub joined in as he released Monstressor, instructing the Tyranitar to fire off a Hyper Beam. While the energy meteor seemed damaged and weakened, it wasn't destroyed, and it didn't stop its collision course as it smashed into the island, consuming it in an explosion of dragonic energy. While the attack wasn't enough to kill anyone, or mortally wound them, it was enough to hurt pretty bad, not even a Protect could fully cushion the blow. "That looked neat!" Ceramew laughed as she observed the explosion from the sky, the island now steaming with dragonic chi.
Sub would soon come to, noticing that Allen, his Bisharp, released himself and protected his trainer from most, but not all, of the attack, despite resistance Allen was hurt. "Is everyone okay?" Sub called out to the others. "This thing's power is amazing...I don't even know what to do." Sub admitted, this wasn't like back in Unova, they had two legends on their side, Reshiram and Victini, but now, it's just themselves.

It was fortunate that Xatu was able to escape with Amaranth to safety, given an attack of that magnitude. Even Sol, Xipil, and Gallade were flung about, suffering a lot of damage... but they were still kicking, taking a moment to get back to their feet.
"Oh, just fine, I always wanted to fly through the air after a meteor strike." Sol commented. At this point, he could say one thing safely. Age wasn't an issue at all with what that little hybrid could really do; those punches were being held back a lot, and he wasn't sure if it was awareness of being unstable, a lack of desire to fight, or both. "It's a wonder what a lack of inhibitions can do, isn't it?"
It didn't help that the only help that existed was, well, nothing. Black City was easy by comparison. "If anyone's got a plan, I'd love to hear it. I believe it's safe to say either we die here or she does, hard as that choice is. But if we don't do something, I can assure you it'll be us before her."
For him, it was an even harder choice, one he still wasn't sure of. To say he was conflicted was like saying grass was green. But he had his blade in hand, pouring as much fire chi into it as he could. If he had to go through with it, he would.

"Masterrr..."
After the blast hit, Chaos realized he wasn't nearly as hurt as he thought he'd be. When he opened his eyes, he found the reason why. Warbringer, on her knees from the pain now, had shielded him from the blast.
"The hell are you doing out of your ball? Who asked you to protect me? What, do you think I can't take a hit!?"
If Warbringer wanted to respond to that, she didn't show it. Or rather, she couldn't, since she fainted in that instant. Chaos didn't say those things to be mean, though. Rather, it was out of worry for her that he spoke.
With a grumble, he recalled the fainted Combusken, and glared at Ceramew. Did he just shift blame to the being posessing Cera? You bet your ~/~ he did.
"Demonic ~/~ must pay."
Deathgiver and Ragebearer regrouped before their master, limping a bit from taking the attack, but with plenty of energy left.

"Are you guys just going to stand around and talk? Really, if that's the case then maybe I should head on over to the main land and see if there is anymore more interesting to try my powers on." Ceramew sneered. Her comment startled Sub, he couldn't let this freak of nature make it to Kanto and endanger thousands of people, they had to stop Ceramew's 'guest' as soon as possible.
"Listen up guys, I do have a plan. I may be a novice with my Dark Channeling, but it seems that with what little ability I possess I'm still able to withstand the influence of the meteorites. We'll do what me and Blizz did to Kareem, restrain this thing and pull the fragment out. Sol, attack Ceramew head on with everything you got, force her to use Protect. When she does, have Trapinch, and you have Houndoom, Chaos, use Feint to shatter her Protect, that should leave it down for awhile. I'll then have Nevermore use Quash to restrain her, then I'll move in and rip that thing out with my Snag Machine, I had GRAY unlock the chi converter earlier. Granted, this might take a good bit of my own chi to pull off...but I'll do whatever it takes to end this here. Sol, in case we succeed and I fail, I'll let Ceramew know you loved her." Sub told the hybrid, his implication obvious.
"What are you guys mumbling down there? You know what, I'm tired of waiting, here I come!" Ceramew cackled as she used her telepathic power via Secret Power to summon up a geyser of water from the ocean, shaping it into several tentacles, the water tentacles swinging around, attempting to crush or smack away the Snagems.

"I've no plans to allow that. I hope your precious shield can hold up." Sol spoke up, releasing Trapinch. "Trapinch, underground. On my word, come up and strike with Feint."
As soon as his Trapinch went underground, he recalled Xipil and Trapinch for now. And Nusku as soon as he saw him, noticing that Jude must've fled or something. "And Sub, I'd wager she already knows. But we can't afford any more hesitation, go!" He dashed away from one of the watery tentacles as it started coming down, narrowly avoiding it as he ran near Ceramew. Sliding to a halt with his blade held out, he jumped into a spin, leaving a trail of fire as he came up before starting his assault.
Throughout this, Trapinch was rapidly moving underneath, ready to go when the command came.

"Problem with that," Chaos interrupted. "Deathgiver doesn't know that move. Guess he could hold her with an extended Crunch, though."
