Her fingertips barely brushed his as she took the cup from him and took a drink. That brush was all she needed to confirm truth. Her pounding slowly subsided as she drank the tea.
She looked up to him. "How can you be so sure I'm the one?"

She was a bit ticklish and could help but laugh. "What the point in hitting you if you are just going to pretend..."again it was odd, one moment they were having quite an odd conversation and now they were acting lovely dubly. "Is that so, well at the moment I don't think I want to read your thoughts, at this moment"she teased.

Drake - I know because around you I feel alive....I can see in color, and I feel.....So intense it is hard to describe. But look I am not going to push you....And if you choose to to see where this leads we can take it slowly...Either way I would be willing still to aid you with your ability so it does not harm you so much anymore.

It seemed that Emile had a way of making her blush and soon laughing again. She turned to face him and placed a hand to his chest "Whoa there...we just met and though it would be fun to know what runs through that head of yours, I like to get to know you first"she smiled. She nibble at her lower lip once again "Beside I haven't even gotten my first kiss yet..."she trail off and blushed at her confession.

Drake - I know I have said too much too fast. But as I said before I would not have an untruth between us. I believe in being honest...As for taking it slow....I would take it as slow as I possibly can...But understand the darkness with in beats at me every day. Eventually it will over power me if We....I mean I wait too long to....

She glanced at him for a moment and thought "Anything, huh?"she smiled an thought. "So you have a twin right? He must be cute then?'she smirked. She was only joking around with Emile of course, but it seem she would like to meet Emile brother someday. To see if the two were the same or complete ooposites.

Emile - Maybe some day you will my twin....As for him being cute, I wouldn't know. I don't look at him to see if he is cute. He is an accomplished hunter and a remarkable carpathian....And yes....We look exactly alike however he is a bit more tight, where I seemed more carefree....As he says I am a bit childish when I should be more grown up in matters....

She started to laugh a bit "Do males of your kind growl"it was more as a statement then a question. "What is your brother name?"she was curious, that there was someone that actually told Emile, he was childish. "And I suppose that is true, maybe when I meet him, I'll make the observation myself"she teased.

Anya massaged the back of her neck. Wait too long? She looked at the time from the clock above their heads. It was late at night or very early in the morning, however you want to look at it.
She then glanced at him. "Tell me... is there any truth to the legends?"

Drake - You mean the vampires....Yes...When a male carpathian loses his soul because he waits too long to greet the sun or misses the chance to claim his lifemate he becomes the undead. A vampire killing at random just for the thrill and rush of a momentary power. They seek to rid the world of the carpathians, and hunters like myself and take claim to all women. However if they convert a woman without pyschic abilities they become deranged. However like them both carpathains and vampires need blood to survive and really can not be out during the daylight hours. They have the same abilities as we do, and are master manipulators and illusionists....Some use others to do their bidding. Rarely does a master vampire do his own dirty work.....

She shuddered. "Drink blood? You have to live off that stuff?" She shook her head. She couldn't take to the idea of drinking blood, if she even was his true lifemate.

No matter how you look at it, all male of any species is always possessive of something. She looked at him innocently "Nothing..."she kept back her laughter. She saw her house up ahead, she sighed. Though she was not sure she wanted EMile to leave yet, she liked talking to him and hearing him speak. She had never tease anyone like this before, maybe her two friends, but that was different. "So is there more that I should know, about this lifemate thing?"

Drake - With vampires no....Humans are more often then not killed or turned into their mindless pawns...However there are a few humans whom have lived under the protection of the carpathians that have known what they are and lived rather well. Like a family with the carpathian in which they were living with without going crazy.
Drake - Unfortunately we can drink only blood...Rarely do we drink the herbal tea.
