Emery chuckled as he tried to tame his unruly hair. She leaned back onto her hands, looking at the sky. "So, you promised we'd become good friends after you woke up. Are you going to back down on your deal?" Emery had a playful glint in her eye as she turned to him, awaiting his response.

Emery rolled her eyes at the boy that she now knew as Ren. "Somedays I call them 'freak'. I like to change it up every now and again." She grinned as she sit up straight, looking towards Ren. "I assume you remember my name, unless you were too busy dreaming about this 'Mikage' to remember!"

Emery shook her head in disbelief, amazed that she would do that. Obviously how she slept wasn't under control, but was it really too much too ask for her sleeping self to not cuddle with strangers?

Emery gave him a confused look. "Does what?" She demanded, staring into his eyes. She was determined to win, although she wasn't really sure what she was winning at.

KatjaJean It's ok x.x. I actually have a weird neck condition too, and the doctor says it's not malignant, but he doesn't know what it is XD. So I'm not a fan of going for checkups anymore, they never fix what problems I have. ╔════════════════════════════╗

Emery edged away from the boy, a small glint of panic passing through her eyes. Now that the cuddlefest was over, she definitely didn't want anybody getting too close to her. She wasn't comfortable enough with Ren to know if he was safe.
Emery quickly regained her composure, letting out a short laugh. "I'll have you know that I haven't been diagnosed with either of those, thank you very much. I also ask the perfect amount of questions!" Ren was starting to irritate her due to his own stubbornness, so she continued to stare at him, daring him to fight back.

Emery glared at him, frustrated with his rude retorts. She was now very irritated with him and the fact that he refused to break. "I'm sorry my perfect isn't good enough for you then. I guess I'll just stop saying anything." Emery said childishly, leaning back and making a huge effort to look anywhere except at Ren. She had a tendency to resort back to these ways on occasion, since they were so effective on Lila.
