He can do this. He can do this! A blind swing (because, really that's all Before's swings are) and holy s**t he hit! And HOLY s**t IT HIT BACK DDDDDDDX but mission accomplished! Vanna was fully charged! "Hey, hey, Candace, how is that harpoon like a credit card?" he panted in pain, trying to ignore the stitch in his side from getting smacked around. "When you charge it!" and then he transferred the charge from Vanna and promptly GTFO before Candace decided to kick him. With her deadly boots. 8C

Bix had been trying to get off of his back when another tentacle hit him. Thankfully it wasn't as hard but he'd managed to shove the sharp end of his bow into it like a spear.

Bix was finally scrambling away. A tentacle grabbed his ankle, wrenching his leg as it attempted to toss him but he shot a line of arrows up the appendage. Mina moaned in his mind as she became fully charged.

Bix and Before both had transferred the last charges into the the remaining harpoon. Bix couldn't help being excited to fire such an awesome projectile.
He lined up the shot, bracing himself, and fired. There was a satisfying 'THUNK' as it sunk into the tentacle.

Good on Bix and Before to step up. Candace couldn't help but wince at the way they both were hit hard though, with no Moon hunter to protect them. She sure as hell was not going to e attacking without the help of Harrison or one of the other Moons. She could provide it though..
"Ohh! Good shot!" She grinned at Bix, offering her hand up for a high five. There wasn't much time. Just one tentacle left. Just one. But how would they get the artifact? H had said he would take care of that. They had no instruction on how to get the artifact or even where in the damn thing the artifact really was. Try not to think about it, Candace. Now is not the time. You can cry later when you have a blanket and a pillow to cover your head with. A place where no one can see you cry.

Tori quickly summoned her weapon once she had seen the tentacles come up from the ice. Seeing the others attack as she got a better grip on her weapon.
To which she total missed hitting the tentacle but still got smacked.

"I'm fine, I'm f-fine!" Sasha had been swatting distractedly at the tentacle whenever it came close; she never made contact, but she did take a moment to hide behind Deryk as he attacked. "Gosh darn it," she mumbled under her breath, patting the Death hunter on the shoulder for a brief moment before she started bandaging him. "Thanks," Sasha whispered softly before she kept moving, intent on finding Jerry - she was almost certain that he was going to need bandaging again. Blade Kuroda healing deryk for 9. feels good bro.

"Thanks." Bix high fived Candace, never gonna leave a girl hanging. Thankfully he wasn't freezing now that they were fighting. In fact his face was burning up under the scarf.
He didn't stray far from the harpoon though. After it fired it sizzled into inactivity. H had said 5 harpoons and they'd only fired four. He was going to do his best to fire this one off again.
The albino hunter stuck the tentacle with arrows again and then was sideswiped once more off of his feet.

Some of the tentacles seemed...more interested in the folks they were grabbing than dragging them towards the open pit.
Rescue was definitely up there when it came to Moon duties, but right now they had bigger fish to fry. Really big fish. As long as it wasn't Jordan again. He found Candace manning one of the cannons.
"Sorry," he mumbled, "got...I had to get somebody. Let's get this son of a b***h recharged."

Getting a little frustrated that the last two attacks missed. That instead of charging the tentacle she used her chain like a flail and it this time.

Candace watched the tentacles a moment, the way they aimed and tried to grab people. With each grab her heart ached. H..no. Stop it. Stop. Thinking. About. Him. You'll be fine, Candace. You'll..be okay. Atropos cooed to her again as Harrison approached, reminding her that at least she was alive. But...ugh.
"Oh, no. It's fine. I understand. Trust me." Candace chuckled sadly, eyes glistening with tears again. She'd been able to save Jerry, at least. Why couldn't she have...stop thinking about it stop it stop go away lump you hurt her throat go away ugh her chest felt tight again stop that stop it. She ruffled her own hair before looking down at the gloves she was wearing. The Master, huh? Candace sighed, pressing her lips against one of her knuckles before straightening the gloves. Time to see how well they did in snow, even without being true runic gloves.
Candace glided over the ice, using the momentum to throw herself forward. She landed on her hands and spun herself, one leg kicking out as she spun and slicing the tentacle. It didn't get a chance to touch her. Not even a little. She refused to let it touch her anymore.

Bix had Candace's back. As she struck out with her feet he fired arrows over her shoulder at the titan. Thankfully she had Harrison to defend for her, but the tentacled deflected and hit the archer instead.
