Dakota looked at the figure just standing there, her weapon summoned. ******** had to end her, free her.
This was the end for the Moon hunter Julie. Dakota didn't step to close to her body, aware the bugs were still there before staring into her eyes. Lifeless eyes but Julies eyes.
"I can't do it." His hand shook as he pulled Chama out of the sand.
I can't.
He swung Chama, missing Julie and didn't feel an ounce of regret.
I can't attack Julie.

Jude was about to swing. In fact he was mid swing of a punching jab until Deryk's words bit through the haze of the battle fury causing him to do nothing but hit air. There was a pause a furrowing of the brow, " But she's not there anymore. Can we even get her back?" Jude doubted this. This wasn't Julie anymore. He never knew Julie but he was very certain she was a lot more animated and lively before all this. Plus..y'know other things about Julie's condition insisted she was not alright at all. " ...Yeah I don't think there is anything left to do for her except help her end it all." Jude said quietly. Target: Julie DAMAGE: Missed Julie's HP: 40 Jude's HP: 27/50

Woah wait, why were they attacking Julie?!
Otto hesitated, looking around as everyone beated on her. But, why? She was injured! They should be helping her! Call Otto naive, but he didn't seem to realize the swarm of bugs came from Julie.
"I'm with nerd-boy on this.." Otto agreed, de-summoning his weapon.

Ryan looked at the summoned weapon when Deryk pointed it out. He had wondered about that himself. It was strange that it was still summoned when clearly, Julie was no longer present. She was either dead or dying. A husk, nothing more. Even if they some how miraculously got all the bugs out of her body, there was no way they could save her from the damage caused to her body. It would be kinder of them to put an end to her suffering.
That's what he tried to tell himself, but even as he moved to strike her down, he couldn't bring himself to hit ******** this is messed up..!"

Focus. Right. Stupid, ******** desert bugs. Harrison didn't look. He kept his eyes bolted to the floor. More would be coming. He couldn't pass out again. Everyone in the camp was dead, and Allan and Simon were their only shots at getting back home. It wasn't bugs, or even gore, it was just...
Don't look. He could weather out the nausea.
But he could still hear the thunk of weapons hitting it.

He'd seen, but he hadn't noticed - Julie's weapon was still summoned, still glowing. Weapons became tablets when their hunters died. Jordan felt sick. Was it possible that somehow, Julie was still alive in the hollowed husk that stood there, filled with insects? If she was alive ...
He wasn't the only one that had noticed. He took a careful breath and answered Deryk. "She can't survive that way. They're controlling her. If she's still alive ... she's trapped and dying."
He turned his head away, exhausted and ashamed and deeply, horribly angry.

Jerry was still breathing deeply from his huddle, glancing up to Jordan, then briefly to the the husk of a young woman. "I... I d-died once," He managed to find his voice, "There was... was that chill but... but they c-cured that too... Maybe... I mean... we should... has anyone called Allan?"

Wilson shot Aleister a wary look. "Isn't he on a mission with the other death hunters? What if we mess things up on his end?" Or maybe he just didn't want to call Caelius. Period.

If it hadn't been such a serious situation, Deryk might have given Otto a surprised look for actually agreeing with him. However, his attention shifted over towards Jordan and Jude and he paled a bit at their words. Quickly he shook his head before looking back to the bloodied Julie. No. This couldn't really be happening. He didn't want to believe that she was being eaten out by thousands of insects.
Trembling, he just kept shaking his head.
In his head, Tooley began to hum softly, trying to calm him down.
He shut his eyes tightly, not wanting to deal with this. A part of him said that Jordan, Jude, and Tooley were right. She was slowly dying there before them. This all had to be a horrible dream. Pretty soon, he'd wake up in his room at the island and none of this would have happened.
"C-Cael can open up portals... On the spot.." he commented. But quite frankly, he didn't want the division lead to be here right now. The topic was a brief distraction. He didn't want to attack. Not right now. Nope.

Julie. It was Julie, had been Julie. At first, the shock of it had been enough to stop Sherry in her tracks, and then the very sight of Julie's wounds...it was almost too much. Sherry had seen bodies, and they were almost too much for her. This, this was so much like that...only worse. So very much worse.
Armagnac hissed. Perhaps she really believed that, or maybe she just wanted Sherry to fight. Either way, Sherry listened.
Sherry stepped up, and swung at Julie with her glaive. But she just couldn't, not really. Her swing fell short, and Sherry stepped back. It was Julie, and it was a horror.

"Kill it," Harrison growled, hating himself, hating he couldn't do it without hitting the floor again. It was just bugs. "******** she supposed to do without any ******** worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, and he could still see ...
"...Organs. s**t. We..."
He breathed, swaying, not thinking about the open cavity, about what was inside it. Focus.
"We need to get whatever tablets we can grab before more bugs come back."

"I'll just.. j-just... r-reiterate the s-severity of the situation, ahahaha..." Jerry nearly dropped his phone as he scrambled to lean Roar against one shoulder and text at the same time. Harrison was a mess, they were all scrambling- he had almost hit her himself, and they were in a gaggle of trigger happy just as terrified trainees... if they COULD do something... concentrate on typing. Maybe his head would stop swimming. WE ARE HALLOWEEN Text to Allan-Taichou From Jerry**SOS Julie bugs help SOS** He forwarded it to Caelius as well, breathing rhythmically as he kept occupied.

Clerise sobbed, forcing herself to lunge at Julie, trying to take out some of the bugs to little avail. She gagged at the sight of insects swarming around inside of Julie's... skin, heaving a shuddering breath. Hanging back, the Life trainee fumbled for her phone, fingers shaking. She could see it, the horseman that had nearly destroyed Eva, lurking behind her eyes. lizbot Text to Clarice:the bug horseman got julie shes a husk now Frantically, Clerise looked anywhere but at Julie, letting cowardice be her way out. Deryk flinched at Harrison's words. Shifting a bit, he looked once more at Julie, or what was left of her really.
He didn't like this. No. He hated it in fact. The death trainee never met Julie, but he still didn't want to see her die like this. He didn't want anyone to have to die really.
Once more, he shut his eyes tightly as he attempted to stab into Julie with the hidden blade. Aside from the fact that he attacked blindly, his heart was just not in this. He missed his mark completely.
