In one last attempt, Kyle grabbed the knob and threw himself at the door, falling in and smacking his arm on the floor. He quickly got up and looked around the room to see if Kiya was sneaking around somewhere, and only found Jess and his best friend, still screaming. Thanking the girl that had disappeared a short time ago breathlessly, he rushed to Kiah's bedside and grabbed her shoulders to shake her a bit violently. "Kiah! You're alright! It's okay! Nobody's hurt, alright?!" He was relieved when she finally opened her eyes, even if she looked a little sick.

Kiah woke up to find Kyle nearly screaming at her to get up, which she was grateful for after not being able to startle herself out of her nightmare. Her body was still shaking a bit while her eyes scanned the room wildly, as if still reliving whatever horrible things she'd seen. When she realized she wasn't in any danger, she took a deep, shuddering breath to calm herself down and took Kyle's unspoken offer to lean on him. She noticed Jess staring at her in alarm and looked at her in embarrassment before turning her head down to her knees, feeling even worse since she had a pounding headache from all of the alcohol. "Sorry about that... I... usually wake up sooner..." she apologized, her voice cracking from all of the shrieking.

Sighing tiredly, Kyle smiled warily at Jess, hoping she would just assume it was a normal thing and not bother to ask questions. "Thanks a lot... Oh my, I never even caught your name." He was going to smile at her charmingly, but after all of the stress of the day, he decided NOT to do so to the one who helped him out. "I really appreciate the help."

By this time, Jess has sighed a bit in relief. Her ears pounded slightly from the screaming, but she really didn't mind. She was glad that Kiah was okay and not hurt... at least from what she could tell...

"It's alright.. I'm just glad that you're okay... You gave us both a rush." She grinned a bit, chuckling along with it.

Looking at the boy, she smiled still. "My name is Jess. The help? It was nothing." She gave a small chuckle again.

That must have been a terrifying dream. If I might ask..." She paused. "What was it about...?"

She figured she really didn't have any business asking the question, but it had slipped so easily out of her mouth before she could stop her curiosity. In a way- she hoped it would give her a lead on the strange magick working around the Order...

(( *Shakes her head quickly with a look of horror*

Kiya: *Stares at Star without blinking, tilting her head with a few twitches, smile growing wider with each one* Hello. I'm Kiah Matthews. Let's be friends. *Stays as still as a statue*

*Whispers* Ruuunnnnn!!! She's not nice to her friennnddsss! D: ))

Kiah smiled half heartedly, glad that she hadn't disturbed the girl too much. She tilted her head in thought when she asked about the dream, shaking a bit more in the process. People usually never asked when they caught her in a nightmare, but that was mostly because she wasn't up to discuss it. As much as she wanted to tell Jess, it would bring up too many bad memories, so she tried to keep it as simple as possible. "I... don't remember much... There was a lot of blood... and water... but otherwise it was just flashes of different things..."

"Nice to meet you Jess. And don't be so modest. I couldn't have done it without you, after all." Not to mention they'd probably have a group of people surrounding her door, wondering what the heck was going on... He froze a bit when Kiah described her dream, knowing in advance what it was about. Giving her a gentle squeeze, he proceeded to help her up, ready to take her where she wants to go. There's no way she was going to sleep like that again... and she still had alcohol in her system, so he wasn't letting her take those pills.

Jess frowned at the description. She seemed to remember something like that form another Exorcist here... Silently she wondered if it was a premonition of something, or if Kiah had suffered something horrible in her past. She dropped the subject after her moment of silence, understanding that Kiah was not in the mood to tell her anymore. Jess already felt as if she had overstepped her boundaries.

"Ah. I can help escort Miss Kiah..." Pausing, she remembered she never asked his name. "Your name is...? I'm sorry. I forgot to ask-"

((Better watch your back, Lavi DB Marrying Lenalee, then making her cry on your... honey... moon...? LOL.

Kiya: ............... *Tosses holy water at.* D: ))

When the words my Lavi came out of Lenalee's lips, Sil scowled deeply and didn't even bother attempting to hide it, and nothing that happened afterwards did anything to lift that dark look from her face. Everything about this situation was wrong and extremely suspicious, and as she watched Lavi take the girl out of her ear shot she did very little to hide the fact that she was unhappy. With her arms crossed and one foot tapping, she sat and glared at the pair of them like she were trying to set them on fire with the heat of her gaze.

As Lenalee ran off stifling sobs and Lavi returned to her side, her jaw tensed as she attempted to keep her composure. It would have been all too easy to jump to the conclusion that Lavi was juggling girls; after all, he was a master of deception. However, Sil trusted him something fierce and despite that she knew that he had the ability to do such things that didn't mean that he was actually doing them. "Okay, you have five very short seconds to explain what the hell that was, so you better fit as many words into those seconds as you can," Sil stated as calmly as she could, though there was a sharp edge to it. "Your life depends on it."
