Saya raised her hand when it came to her turn eagerly, although a little tiredly. Although the enthusiasm mustered for this soul society business was commendable, Saya obviously favoring the Sun Division leader. Who wouldnt? He was so cheerful and admirable and he used cool costumes.

Saya was like this: *U*

"Saya, Moon Division! Eight hollows down, Allen-taichou!"

She might have asked for an extra pokemon bandage as a souvenir. And she successfully got it.

Clerise looked at Allan shiftily. "Uhh. I got...a few, Allan tie-chow guy."

No way was she saying just one kill. Nope.

"Oh, and Life trainee, and all that."

She looked at Simon, grabbing some bandages and fixing herself up.

God.

God. So mortifying.

"Jerry Collins, Sir, Sun Intermediate" Came a yawn from where the bespectacled man had slumped to curl up against his bazooka like a leaning post, already looking worn out, "And um. Twenty er... Twenty seven I think? NO! No twenty eight. Yeah. Yeah one two on the... oh, er. Almost thirty." He left it at that. His brain still was hurting.

He was bleeding a bit from his fear shield wearing down... maybe a little bit of bandaging and he'd perk up? Maybe. Hopefully. He couldn't afford to not be at his best for their er... Tai.. .show? Whatever that phrase was he kept shouting at them. He wobbled numbly to his feet, dragging Roar behind him like a spiked, green-light spewing teddybear to help himself to a bandage as well.

Awwwwwwwww look they had pokemons on them, that was adorable.

"Very good, very good." Allan mistook Clerise's expression entirely as a look of shyness and gave the Life trainee a hearty, encouraging pat on the back, one that would send lesser people flying forward. Hopefully Clerise wasn't too lesser of a person. "Now, I commend you, my fellow shinigami, there are rewards waiting for you back at Soul Society, a captain must always remember the well-being of his squad members."

He shifted his sword from his left to right hand, pulling the blade upwards and then horizontal in the air - a feat that required quite a bit of muscle work considering the side of the blade that the Sun Hunter did almost effortlessly, posing for a second. "Now hang on, I'm gonna build us a Spirit Gate back." With another rather loud and dramatic yell, he stabbed his weapon into some imaginary mid-air opponent, though that might have been more surprising was how the blade seemed to be half-wedged in thin air, half of the blade missing, as if stuck into something rather invisible. With a small grunt, he pushed the hilt upwards, the beginnings of a familiar portal home underway. A few seconds later and the operation was done, the Sun Leader yelling a warning about watching for the beast that guards the doors, and how it was important to practice Shikai when he suddenly stopped, one foot in the door, literally, and held up one hand, for once, his expression a little more serious.

A mere heartbeat later, the ground rolled, splitting open in half, a thick crevice literally dividing the group of trainees in half, rapidly growing in diameter. From the twenty-foot gap in the center rose a giant monstrosity, its shadow-like substance melting and reforming in various places. There was a good chance it wasn't friendly as bits and pieces of its colossal body split away from it, spilling onto the ground to form more of the undead they had just killed.

Allan moved immediately, literally and rather stylishly using the falling bits of shadow to propel himself onto the creature, burying the sword straight onto the top of their giant form, effectively splitting the creature in half. Unfortunately for him, and probably most of the trainees, both halves of the creatures reformed into two entirely new ones. The Sun Hunter leader dropped back on the ground, thinking. It was possible he was thinking a little too hard, something that was a little dangerous for him on most accounts. A lightbulb finally went off in his head as he regarded the two entirely new creatures. "Well fellow shinigami, it looks like we have in our hands exactly two menos grande. Don't worry, you guys just focus on one of them, hit it as hard as you can, and Simon and I'll go for the other."

Not a second later, he was off, sword trailing behind him as he looked for another opening. The Sun Leader's words would have sounded more reassuring if he hadn't just tried the hitting all the things stunt mere moments ago with rather unfortunate results.

BOSS FIGHT: THE MENOS GRANDE

BOSS FIGHT HP: 120/120

- Your charged attack is carried over if you haven't used it.
- All trainees have been healed back to full HP
- This is a boss fight with mob mechanics, please read the mechanics below:
- EVERY TIME someone hits the boss, the boss will spew exactly 5 undead mobs from each hit, success or fail. The amount of damage you take PER ATTACK POST YOU MAKE is equal to the amount of mobs currently spawned AS OF THE POST ABOVE YOU. That means if there are 5 mobs, you take 5 damage per attack, if someone clears the mobs to 0, you take 0 damage on your next attack.
- ** PUT AT THE TOP OF YOUR POST WHILE YOU ARE ROLLING IF YOU ARE TARGETING BOSS OR SPAWNS.**
- If you are targeting the boss, roll your attack mechanics as normal (melee OR charged attack). At the bottom of your post, after your rp part, post your total damage to the boss, the boss's cumulative HP (as from your post), your total HP (subtracted with the mechanics as seen above), AND the cumulative amount of mobs spawned. That means you should read the person's post above you, and then add/subtract as necessary the boss's HP and the mobs added (+5 every time you choose to attack the boss to the total mob tally).
- If you are targeting the spawns, simply roll 1d10. That determines how many of the mobs you cleared. Remember that crowd control is important, but if there are no mobs, you should probably go for the boss! If you are clearing mobs, make sure to subtract from the total mob tally at the bottom of your post for other players to note.
- REGARDLESS OF IF YOU ATTACK BOSS OR MOBS, YOU TAKE DAMAGE EQUAL TO THE AMOUNT OF MOBS IN PLAY (once again, the total mob tally as per the post above you)

Summary So far

After a debriefing from Caelius explaining that Class 3 EMs are now effective and mandatory to all trainees, the trainees got left with the rather eccentric Sun division leader and his assistant, Allan and Simon. The two of them with the trainees embark on a mission to kill hordes of undead, basically a "killing all of the things" mission. On the way back however, they hit a sort of snag...

TARGET: BOSS

This...was just getting better and better. Ofelia was practically squealing with delight over how this new Tie-bow or whatever his name was just made things more and more awesome, and she smashed the sides of her hands together in an effort to show she was more than ready to keep punching. When everything had died down she was so sure they were done, and was disappointed, but Allan kept things going in a lively and wonderful manner. He even brought two things to play with and Ofelia was in a toy store of wonder and joy.

"Okay, we're kickin' out! Let's go let's gooooo!" Ofelia struck a stupid little pose before running and charging up to the boss, her arm turning at the last minute and allowing her a good strike at the creature thing. She had no idea what a Menos was, maybe some kind of candy (Ofelia actually didn't like candy), but this thing she knew she had to hit it.

When she did hit it stuff came flowing out of it, more of those weird undeads, and she backed away quickly in an effort not to get hit by any of them. She may be covered in bandaids and feeling better for it but Ofelia was not, not ready to be bitten again. Tooth marks just didn't look good on human flesh, not in her opinion anyway. "Anyway, dat's how ya do it! Hit'em till they stop comin'!"

You actually made things worse, just shut up and go and hide for now. Useless retarded hick.

((ATTACKING DA BOSS))

Deryk stared as the large shadow with yellow eyes appeared. Taking a step back nervously, he glanced around at his peers for the moment, feeling a little uncertain.

urged Tooley with a giggle.

Hesitating for a moment longer, he soon nodded before unleashing her charge. The green aura appeared around his left hand, coming to a point a little further from where the blade naturally ended. Running towards the creature, he stabbed it right into the thing before jumping back as a few things started to spawn around.

Rep could only look on in startled silence as the monstrosity made itself known, looming before them even as Allan made a damn good attempt at taking it on. Rep had to grudgingly admit that yeah okay, the guy was a badass, that sword must take effort, he could testify to that with the effort it took to weild Tracey and he made it look easy compared to Rep's strained efforts.

But splitting the thing didn't cut it at all. And it was still alive, still a threat.

And the command was to attack things. Well. He could do this. No problem.

He charged, finally giving Tracey the release both of them were craving as he cleaved the massive creature as hard as he possibly could.

**TARGETING BOSS **

Jerry's head rolled as he blinked wearily up at the horrible shadow thing, his brain already feeling soft and useless as the black creature unfurled around him. Roar was already building up energy for his attack and by the time Jerry had hauled him upright to try to aim, the sudden howling burst of energy ripped straight past the towering monstrosity uselessly.

That did not stop the creature from spewing forth a fresh mob, all clawing and biting and snarling and... oh... bother...

He was playing in the ocean, with dolphins and there were fish and sunshine and a volley ball and a lot of pretty girls in teeny tiny bikinis....

Everybody and their goddamned mom was going after the boss, who was shitting shadow mobs like it was a ******** spider egg sac, and the minions were its babies.

Ew. What a mental image. With a grimace, she went after one-- and got whalloped pretty goddamned hard by the rest.

Why did she even bother.

"Well this is pesky!" Cass noted, watching as the Suns went diving in to attack s**t without taking into consideration that they were <******** everybody over. But it seemed like dear Clerise was off to be helpful, so with that in hand, Cass just gripped Nicodemus tightly in both hands and went diving into the mob, feeling as they hissed and bit at her flesh before her blade went a-swinging and pieces began to fly everywhere. Shots were fired.

Cass was going to town, and that grin was still on her face.

Devious. So much fun. The little ones were always funner than the big ones to her. Besides, if they were going to be the sun, she would be the moon and watch their backs. That was what a Mist did. Adapt and change, be what was needed. She was ready.

She would be what Aria wanted them to be, she would make her Division Leader proud to have her.

He could have fake-sobbed at the new hoard of undead that spawned with each hit to the giant shadow. Wilson could have, but he didn’t. Instead, he reluctantly pushed his gas mask back onto his face. The other trainees could smack around the giant creature as much as they wanted, but he was going to try and clear the little ones out. He grinned behind the mask when he noticed he hadn’t been the only one with that thought in mind. Too bad Wilson couldn’t clear much.

((Mob clearing!))

As tempting as it was for leon to go guns blazing and attack the giant shadowy popsicle looking thing, all the tiny monsters lying around posed to be a bit of a problem. "Time for more crowd control." he muttered before swinging a ravenous chainsaw at the piles of forming blackness. "Whoever gets to hit the menos thingamabob, you better make the shot count."

When it rains it pours so it seemed. He Jude actually smiled a little because he enjoyed this particular rain. It helped him get rid of the emotions threatening to tear him apart from the inside right now. More cathartic release? Yes please!

He lunged toward the 'Boss' and began a short series of attacks against it making Yom quite the happy camper as the charge was released.

Each hit brought him closer to happiness. Jude aimed to become incredibly happy today.

Michael's performance against the Zombies had been embarrassing; he really needed to work on restricted mobility fighting. Thankfully he wasn’t the only one that had completely failed so he didn’t feel too shamed. More than ready to head back now and get away from all the lunatics Michael's reaction to seeing the ground split open and spew more enemy’s was completely understandable.

He whimpered like a little girl.

What had he done in a past life to deserve this? Really?

He didnt get much time to wallow in pity though as everyone started attacking causing him to notice one major thing. Killing the big one spawned little ones, the little ones where the ones hurting everyone trying to kill the big one therefor...

"MOON! ATTACK THE LITTLE ONES TO LET EVERYONE ELSE GET THE BIG ONE!"

Hey they were defence weren’t they? Michael proceeded to do exactly as he'd instructed by bringing down electrocution style butt-whooping on all the enemy's within arm's reach of him, gaining his fair share of scratches and bites on the way.

Aw man, this never ended, did it?

Summoning Chara again, Eva made her way towards the boss, ignoring the swipes from the minions as she swung her bladed staff down at the creature...and then watched in dismay as it spawned more of its little minions.

Ugh. They were going to be overrun by these things at some point!
