((sounds pretty accurate to me ^^ Though, you might want to add something silly like, "A few of the ladies romanitize you two and swoon over the 'forbiddon love' aspect of you guys', but I might just read too many romance novels. XD))
Loa listened intently, staring up at him with her light blue eyes. It didn't surprise her that they saw it as a character flaw. It was nice to hope that he was correct about their relationship distracting from his other, actual weaknesses. And it was nice to know she wasn't known outside, to have it confirmed from her own excursions outside. "Thank you. Also, be careful to at least refer to him as Prince. Not using his title is considered disrespectful and will mark you as in outsider."

((I think if Jody mentioned that he wouldn't be able to stop himself from going "ohcoughandit'sprettydamnobviousyoutwoareinlovewitheachothercoughcough" XD.))

Jody bit his lip and winced a little at the reminder. "Yeah, I kinda noticed from the way you reacted before. I'm not used to titles like that, but I'll make sure it doesn't happen again."

((XD Too bad. A tiny part of me wants to see that happen.))
Loa gave a slight nod. "It's alright. I just don't want you to be outed from something as simple as a title. If you don't know what title to use, Lady or Lord usually work, and if you're wrong, they'll correct you. Such as with Master Revelin. Sir Conrad- the adviser- is the exception. He is, as I just said, Sir Conrad." Loa turned towards him. "Is there anything else you needed help with, before we search out the head gardener?"

"No, I don't think so. Although--" Jody hesitated, but he'd already started to say it, so he figured he may as well finish the statement, "--adding to what I was saying before, the nobles seem like the sort of people that will always find something to pressure the prince over. If that something is you, then standing up to them is easy for him, for... reasons that I think are pretty obvious. If it's something that actually needs justifying, then I suspect he'd have to waste a lot more effort--if not time--dealing with them. What I mean is--from what I've seen, at least--he needs you. You specifically, not just someone to watch his back and protect him from assassins and whatnot. So I hope you don't take too long finding those doctors."

۞Demitri Conrad۞

Demitri moved forward at the King's provocation and walked by his side. When Loa came into the conversation Demitri frowned. He had information coming in from many sources. Some of which he withheld from the King to keep him from worrying. The Prince and Loa had only gotten closer as the years had passed and it was obvious that The Prince had yet to become a suitor to anyone or even spend much time with another girl besides Loa. A put formed in his stomach when he thought about what could happen. He suddenly was shaking his head throughly trying to rid the thoughts from his head. "No, No, No, Prince Riordan is simply in a fog of sorts. He is a bright young man. He will understand what he truly needs. Perhaps if he spends a bit more time with that new noble girl it could help make things a bit clearer. If my meaning is clear, Sire." Demitri said with a small smile obviously hoping to Rose would take The Prince's 'attention away from Loa. "After all she is quite a spirited one with a good family. It could work out well. Not to mention her Mother seems quite... proficient in the ability to have children. Perhaps the apple has not fallen far from the tree. " He stated simply trying to put it as elequently as possible. He knew the King wished an easier time in producing heirs for his children than he had himself. "Caution is needed in our current times. I have some informants sending me some reports that could help provide better details on what could be coming." He replied knowing they could win this war but a true war wasn't won by might or weapons but information. Which he was collecting a lot of.

Loa tilted her head. His words made sense, but at the same time, it was hard to wrap her mind around them. "What reasons?" She asked, when he stated the 'pretty obvious' reasons. She glanced at the ground, and hearing that he needed her, she couldn't help but smile sweetly, almost bashfully. And in that moment, it was obvious that she adored Riordan, that she loved him. Her appearance was that of a bashful girl thinking of her crush. It faded in an instant when her expression returned to normal. "I don't intend to take very long."

Kennard gave a slight sigh at Demitri's quick assurances that his son was just in just a fog. "He knows what he truly needs... I just wonder if.." Kennard shook his head, and confided in his friend. "I wonder if my son will pick love or country. If he does love her, if it does come down to it, I don't honestly know which it is he'd pick." Kennard nodded a bit. "Maybe. They do appear to have a bit of a friendship forming, except that that Jeremy lad... seems to be involved as well." At Demitri's statements about having many children, Kennard gave a slight chuckle. "Indeed. And her children seem healthy." Kennard nodded. "Caution and observance. Now... if only we could quiet the mighty voices of my court."

"Glad to hear it--" Jody said before leaning over and whispering in Loa's ear, "--because I think it's pretty obvious that he loves you as much as you love him." He straightened his posture again and took a few steps in the direction they'd originally been walking in. "So where do we find this head gardener?"

((Sorry guys, my dad needed the computer))
Loa nodded a bit, jumping when he leaned over to whisper in her ear. At his statement, Loa jumped, and swung towards him. "Th-that is ridiculous!" She turned away, to hide her flushed face. "I-I would never dare to reach above my station in such a way." And he would never dare to love a beastial elf such as myself. "W-we will find him in the roses when he isn't gardening himself." She murmured, striding purposely towards the roses.

Riordan waved the gaurd off, "Loa, I'm goign down a hallway to see my little brother. I think I'll be safe without an escort." He said before heading down the hallway, motion for Rose to accompany him. "My little brother, Prince Erasmus. We call him Owen." He said as he approached the door, and peered him, amirkign at the girl who was fawning over him. "Owen, I see you already have yourself a little girlfriend. You sure do know how to pick the cute ones." He then nodded to Melody. "You have very strong willed children. You're young son, stood up to one of the rudest, most ill-tempered men I know."

Jeremy stalked out of the castle. He didn't give a damn about his title. It was only useful to get close to the council. Demitri....The very thought of the man enraged Jeremy he punched one of the walls in the castle hallway, earning his some sharp glares from guards. He shot a dark glare back at them. "Don't act like I'm a threat. The biggest threat to this country is not a young man punching the walls, but a vile advisor who seeks to oppress all races, and believes himself to be some light of hope for this country."

Lorne dashed through streets on Incolumitas. No one gave a second glance. The path seemed clear and open. He dashed back to Godelieve, and stuck close. he gently nuzzled her leg, It was his signal, that things were safe and clear.

Alexandre walked along side the horses. "Nye, what are our plans for the Prince? Are we really going to abduct him? That seems likely to spark a war. A rebel group of Incolumitas kidnapping the first heir to the throne." He said as he urged the group, to a pace faster than a casual walk. "And how are we to escape? I highly doubt the castle guards will allow us to just walk out. If Lorne can actually get us in, as he claims."

Kailey, dressed in her usual clothes, or lack thereof, made her way towards the clinic. Her top was merely a pieve fo fabric twisted wrapped tightly and tied, leaving her entire midriff bare. Her skirt was slit on the hip on both side for eas eof movement, while skill keeping modest. Her left ankle and knee were heavily wrapped. A result of her last job. She had a few small cuts and bruises. But there were from falling into a rose bush. When she arrived at the Clinic, he ears flattened back and her tail bristled as she hissed at the door. The doctors were gone. She specifically wanted to see Slaine or Faelynn. Not only were the kind, but they were both incredibly cute. "Damn it all!" she said kick the dirt with her good leg. She was heavily armed as always, a bow across the shoulder and a halberd in hand. She was hoping to get healed and find a good job. "What am I gonna do now? The Docs are gone. And I don't need some nurse poking my knee to tell me I sprained it." She muttered as she sat on a nearby tree stump, bored and lightly upset.

"Never said you were," Jody muttered, following Loa towards the roses. Not that she shouldn't. He was well aware that he'd said enough. Perhaps too much. He couldn't help but think Loa would make a good queen, though, and that she and Riordan seemed to be an excellent team already. Although his reasons for wanting to see them be honest with each other weren't entirely unselfish--he couldn't help but be reminded of his and Nithya's situation, though any resemblance was entirely superficial.

Loa glanced back at him. "You did, by the standards of court. Were he to care for me, they would assume I have done something to make it as such, and I would be blamed for reaching above my station and earning his affection." Loa shrugged though, and continued walking. "Hello? Mister Jonathon?" An elderly man stood and walked towards them. "Yes?" "This is Jody. He's to be trained as one of your gardeners."

Owen raised his eyes to Riordan, and gave a weak smile. "It appears I've been given no other choice." Owen plainly didn't know what to do with himself. He glanced around Rio, frowning softly. "Isn't Miss Loa supposed to be with you? You shouldn't be unguarded."

Oralee smirked, remembering a time long past. "I'm pretty sure I can get us into the castle. I did... a favor for the king a long time ago." Oralee glanced over at Alexandre, and whispered so that Madison wouldn't hear. "Well, they won't know we're from Incolumitas. And Kidnapping is only if we have to. Our goal is to figure out who wants to kill the prince, and stop it. We're pretty much winging it for now- first I want to get there."

"Key word there being assume--but I suppose the effect is the same, so I see your point," Jody replied. When Loa introduced him to the head gardener, Jody inclined his head in a gesture he hoped conveyed the proper degree of respect and waited to be spoken to before saying anything else.

Riordan sighed at his little brother. "Loa is training a new bodyguard. And she is just down the hall. I think I'm fairly safe here." Riordan then looked out the window. "Its a lovely day. Do you think I can sneak you outside? I think fresh air would do you good. Staying in this stuffy room all day doesn't make you any stronger."

Alexandre raised an eyebrow, "If you can get us inside, then why do we need the thief? He may be an able scout, but I am unsure what he offers to the group." Alexandre sighed, "I am worried by this though. Any attack on the prince could be used as an excuse to start a war. You don't think the nobles would want to start a war so much that they would have their own prince assassinated, do you?"

Owen frowned a bit, and tilted his head. "If you say so, Rio. If you're in enough danger to warrant another guard, why would you be safe alone right now?"

Oralee frowned. "I'm not positive I can, and besides, we need the extra muscle, and we'll need his help getting out." She glanced up at him. "It could be, if we let them know where we're from. I'll disguise us as being from Exortensis. Where would they start a war with?" At his last question, she frowned. "Not... exactly. I don't think they'd assassinate him just for that. But if there were another reason, on top of the benefit of that? Maybe. There is a second prince, though he is sickly." Oralee flickered a glance at the doctors. "Maybe they'll be able to help with that."

Riordan smiled and kneeled to look his brother in the eyes, "I didn't get another guard because of danger, Owen. I want another guard, in case Loa gets sick or is in some way unable to protect me. He's a backup guard, I guess you could say." He smiled and ruffled his brothers hair a bit, "But, what about me sneaking you outside, hmm? I hear that a lot of the flowers are blooming, and looking rather lovely right now."
