Chi stiffened slightly, only to relax when she noticed it was just Vale. A deep blush filled her cheeks, resting her hands lightly over his arms around her. She was quiet for a bit, then slowly leaned back just enough so her back rested against his chest. "Wh-what are you going to do... if the rest of Taka, even S-sasuke Uchiha... comes to attack the Leaf?..." she asked softly, staring out the window as well.

The silver haired Uchiha stared out the window, staying quiet, his arms sliding around her a little more. "...I'll fight. ...I'll fight for the village." he replied softly.

She held still before shutting her eyes, letting out a soft sigh. "Thank you..." she said, but she didn't go into details of her thoughts about Sasuke. Truthfully, he terrified her, as did most of Taka. She was also scared for Vale.

Vale merely set his head on top of Chi's. He'd fight. Not for the village as he'd said, but for a differently reason. Lightly he rubbed his cheek against the top of her head, holding her gently against him.

"I know there's more to this situation, but I just don't know what..." Yumiko sighed, running a hand through her hair. "But I know one thing for sure... I'm going to be ready when there's another attack. Even with the news of the ploy behind the Uchihas untimely demise at the hands of Itachi, Taka won't give in that easily..."

Chi kept her eyes shut, rather calm and comfortable at the moment instead of nervous and blushing like before. "Do you know... anything about Taka's next move on the Leaf?..." she asked out of the blue, opening her eyes halfway.

"It'll be Jugo, Sasuke's second in command." he told her, almost burying his face into her hair. "Tomorrow. He'll come straight through the front gates." he finished quietly, his voice sounding bothered.

Chi went rigid at the mention of Jugo. She had looked into some of the journals that Kimimaro wrote in, the ones she found while at Orochimaru's hideout, and Jugo was mentioned a lot in there. "Jugo... was a good friend of Kimimaro's..." She shut her eyes again, taking a slow deep breath and letting it out as a sigh. "I'll be at the front gates tomorrow... I'm going to help bring him down, one way or another, whether it be by talking or if it comes to a fight..." Her hands rested lightly on his that were around her waist.

Vale shook his head, actually lightly kissing the top of her head. "No. Chi, I'll handle him." he said, holding her a little tighter.

She looked up slightly at him, shaking her head. "You aren't doing this alone. Besides, I've already managed to persuade you to stop your attacks on the village, and that was before I knew the truth about the Itachi Case and everything. With Jugo, things might be different. He might remember Kimimaro and hesitate with his attacks, which can give me enough time to explain the situation.... There's no harm in trying, right?.."

"Sasuke doesn't have Shikotsumyaku. I do. I'm the real Kimimaro reincarnate: flesh, blood, and bone," Chi persisted, only to sigh and shrug. "And... even if he doesn't listen to me, I still have to protect my village..."

Vale stayed quiet, merely holding her. As he stared out the window, his vision blurred, telling him just how bad his vision really was. Burying his face further into Chi's hair, he closed his eyes.

Chi was quiet, then she twisted slightly so she was facing Vale rather than having her back against his chest. Resting one hand on his cheek, she kissed him lightly before pulling away. "I need to talk to the Hokage... If Jugo really is coming tomorrow through the front gates, the village needs to be ready. But... I don't want to leave you..." She paused in thought, then reached into the pouch where she kept her kunais and such. She pulled out one of the Sixth's special kunai, remembering that Yumiko was told to give them out to the other shinobi and kunoichi of the village earlier.

At that moment, the Sixth appeared in the usual yellow colored flash that he usually did, leaning against the wall looking at the two. "You called?"
Vale glanced at the Hokage slightly.
