She fidgeted a little, shifiting on her feet. "Well, I can go liquid, and then mebbe try making just my tummy liquid the rest solid, so he wouldn't fall out. Neva tried that before, so not sure if it'd work or not, but it's worth a try, right?"

The boy glanced down at the turtle as he felt something bite his shirt, and then actually smiled slightly and reached down to pet him gently. He had to be careful, he didn't want the turtle to get upset or stressed or anything.. He lifted his head, seeming a bit uncertain about the whole alternate plan. Not only because he was confused as heck, but also because he didn't want the little guy to end up hurt or anything. He chewed at his lower lip lightly, letting them work it out.

"Hrm." Kaja stared at the other girl for a bit, wondering how that would work. Might be interesting to try, actual-
"Kaja? Mr. Duncan can see you now." The secretary's voice broke rather abruptly into the kinder's thoughts, and the girl looked up to see the secretary looking over at them, not too happy to see other children in there. "And you two, you probably ought to go to class before your teachers start wondering where you are."
Sigh...."I'll find you both later, Spiro; take care of him for me. And you to, Aqua." With a nod and a tiny little smile at the two other kinder, Kaja hopped off her chair, squared her shoulders, and walked through the imposing doors of the principal's office.
Oliver, suprised at the touch, immeadiatly retracted into his shell defensively; but after determining that he wasn't going to be hurt by the strange hand, he allowed himself to be pet.

The boy nodded, continuing to pet the turtle lightly. He now had a mission. He headed out of the office, "Don't worry, I'll take good care of him." He meant it with all of his heart. He really did care about animals. Even if they didn't care about him. But enough of dwelling on that.. He looked towards Aqua now, "I'm gonna head to class, okay..? So, um.." He wasn't used to this.. "See you at lunch?" He gave a half smile, trying really hard to be friendly. "Then maybe we could see how that whole thing with you holding him will be... I just want Kaja around for it." He nodded before giving a wave and ducking into the crowded hallway. He headed straight for his class for once. As mentioned before, he was on a mission. No fooling around when doing a favor for someone else!

Skye Starrfyre She ducked into the classroom without so much as giving the rest of the hall another look... Which was a good thing because the bell had just rang. Soon enough everyone would be flooding into the room... Familiar faces and some new... And maybe... Just maybe... Yuki would be there. ((this is in a different grade by the way XD So spiro and whatnot won't be involved. has to be Yuki's age, or been in the class before.)) The boy gulped. Moving on into the classroom. He'd.. just have to face it... No. how could he! Maybe.. if he blended into the crowd he could avoid her. Forgetting the consiquinces of that he shifted into the group of kids, they quickly thined out once in the class room. Then... Two excited young girls rushed past him.

The nezumi's heart stopped as he was suddenlly midair, falling into his pile of clothes on the floor. Everyone stopped int heir tracks and stared at the boy who had apparently just blown up.

Her eyes went wide as she heard one of the girls shriek and yell something about a rat. That could have only meant one thing that she knew of... And it wasn't good. Not at all... Unless it really was just a regular old rat.
Upon seeing the clothes on the floor she knew it wasn't true. She pushed out of her desk and scurried over to the pile, shooing girls frantically away from the clothing and the wee creature burried beneath. "Go away! Leave him alone! He won't hurt you! Just... Go away!"
Most of the children weren't used to hearing Ash speak, let alone speak so loudly. She seemed rather stubborn as far as it was all concerned, kneeling beside the pile to 'protect' it. "It's ok, Yuki... I won't let them hurt you."

The small beady eyed of the mouse went wide as he made his way out, finding his (as far as he thought)only friend. She was... protecting him. He stared in shock, she... really didn't care...
It finally hit him. For once someone didn't care that he was a rat.
No no no! It didn't matter! Akito was still dangerous. This... was for the best.
In a matter of seconds the teacher was calling the emergency number of Hatori's cell phone. As far as she knew he'd only fallen to the ground, and she was worried for his health. So, call his doctor. Then get back to help him.

"Careful..." She cooed at the mouse, scooping him gently into her hands. "Don't worry... I won't let anything happen to you." She nodded slowly before pulling him close to her chest. She was going to get away from the prying eyes and the starring of the other children.
With her other hand she scooped up Yuki's clothing before disappearing into the classroom's storage closet. She blocked the door with her body as she sat down on the floor. "See... It's alright in here. No teachers and no children... Maybe they won't notice and... And we can just talk..." She continued on as if nothing had happened, trailing a finger slowly down over a furry cheek before setting both he and the pile of clothes down on the floor.

He blinked, shifting into the comfort of the embrace. He'd.. never been hugged... Not that he could remember atleast. Maybe once when he was born... But then he'd been tossed to the side.
Though this wasn't exactly a hug, it still felt... nice.
He choked a bit on the thought he'd never have this again. When Hatori got there... He'd...

He looked to her as she set him down. A timid more highpitched voice as he fought back crying. "Why... Why don't you hate me?"

"Because we're friends... And friends usually don't hate each other." She nodded slowly, biting down on her lower lip as she did so. She hoped they were still friends... Even if they hadn't seen each other in a long time. "Every... Everyone needs at least one good friend." Her nod was a bit faster this time as she confirmed her words with movement.
Ivory lids closed over eyes that glittered in the dim light of the closet. "I missed you... But my big brother explained it to me. He said that... Sometimes people you care about go away or you just don't see them for a while... But that doesn't mean you care any less about them. I... I still have your hat."

He still looked a bit confused as he turning to stare at the floor. Flopping to a sit. "Why... Why would you be friends with something like me?"
None of this made sense. Akito... his mother... Everyone. Everyone had allways said... no one was out there for him. He wasn't supposed to have anyone care about him. No one ever had... No one would ever.. look out for him.
So why did she...?
Everything he had grown with, all his knowlage of himself and those around him... was broken in that moment. And nothing made sense. Not any bit of it.
It took him a moment... Until he forced somethign out. "I.. missed you too." and.. I will miss you.

"For the same reason that you're friends with me, I hope..." She said softly as she pulled her knees up to her chest, opening her eyes to peer down at Yuki. "You tried to understand me when no one else would... You took the time to listen to me in the only way that I could speak." She nodded slowly, bringing a hand up to her face to wipe at her eyes. "Alot's been going on at home... Mother's pregnant. Everyone's really happy about it. It means a bigger family for me... But friends are still important."

The young doctor had actually missed the call, having forgotten his cell phone in his lab coat pocket. He had it now, and was going through his messages... He frowned at one specific one... Yuki needed help again? He was immediately worried, although it didn't show on his face. Like always. He tugged his coat on and headed out towards the school on foot. Damn Ajani, wrecking the car. Now it would take him even longer to get there, and the boy could be in real trouble.... Hatori peered at his watch idly.

"y...Yea... Arafel...is pregnent too." he choked a bit, again. Shifting some. His thoughts were far away, swirling around in confusion. To put it simply.. he knew too much. Had had too much. And yet, still didn't know enough.
He didn't know the flip side to the coin of life. The happy side.. the side where things would go good.
A loud poomf was heard, smoke covering him long enough for a hand to grab the clothes and pull the over his lap. The tears in his eyes were more visible now, head hug as his lip quivered. "I...Never had... Someone care about me...before." he swallowed hard "I... don't know-" he was cut off with a choked sob "How..."
What he didn't know wasn't exactly stated. It was more of an.. assumed thing.
