Team STFU

It was going from one thing to the other in a matter of split seconds. Before Levi could really think anything through, Holly's information regarding Savior's intent wa being processed while Savior was already cutting at her with a sharp nail. It stung for sure, and she felt as though she should immediately wash it out- but this was the purpose? Holly and West didn't seem to feel the need to do so... and there was a reasoning to it- navigational? Won't lose... that'sa handy trick then. She repeated what Savior had said and nodded when she was finally able to finish her train of thought.

Of course, then Levi had the joy of watching Savior stick her entire hand into an opening in her face with rows of tiny pointy teeth. What sorta critter... Nope. Not related to West. If he had that sort of skill, she would've undoubtedly noticed it by now. As Holly had done by example, Levi simply placed a hand over the bloodied wound to apply pressure and thanked accordingly. Thank ya...

What is comin' up next, I wonde- She was standing by Holly, looking down at the cut when-

Lizzy surprised the tatzel with a hug from behind causing the hairs on her ears to stand on end. L-Lizzy!!! She was in a hug among potential opponents. oh jack... Peering over at the wrath demon for a split second to receive a reaction, she then glanced away and returned a squeeze to the arms enveloping her. That was what Lizzy did; if there was a smirk at her being part of this ghoulie act, she'd literally whip it of his face. Yer trainin'? Fancy seein' ya 'ere. Of course, with her laying her hands over Lizzy's arms and being slightly bloodied, it was highly likely Lizzy might get some of the red stuff on her.

Finally releasing Hel, Shun glared daggers into Riyo as she bit back. Damn girl was going off while laying on the angst. While she started to walk off, he moved on after her, reaching to try and grab her so he could stare her right in the eyes.

"No, you shove it," he hissed under his breath, "No one strong armed you onto this team. If you're not going to put in the effort to at least tolerate everyone else so we could cooperate, then you can just haul your sorry little a** straight back through that portal with your tail between your legs because we don't need to deal this s**t.

Sneering, he pushed her back, letting the feline go.

"Your choice."

Why was it that when a situation seemed bad and had a small glimmer of hope that it would simmer down did it just blew up all over again? Mitsu was trying to work this out in her mind as she continued to hold the tears back. Not gonna cry.

Crimson eyes grew wide when Riyo started to storm off and they only grew wider when Shun grabbed her. Finally Mitsu stepped forward a hand reaching out toward the reaper, fingers gently taking hold of his sleeve at about the time he pushed Riyo back.

"C...can we just get through the field trip..." Mitsu said softly. Her voice sounded a little choked like she was struggling not to be upset. "I'm sorry....I just thought...maybe we could work together." But it seemed she was wrong. If trying to have them work together was only going to end in fights Mitsu wasn't sure how her mentality would handle it.

Riyo's small tantrum was taken with a grain of salt. She wasn't a friendly person, he knew that much. Still, he also felt she could probably do well on a team if even the chance. Perhaps the volume of people were starting to irritate her and make her uncomfortable.

The exchange between Shun and Riyo had Mot turning his head back to see how Hel was. Shoot, her nose was still bloody. Maybe he should help her out.

The reaper was pulled from his thoughts upon hearing poor sweet Mitsu hold back tears. Mot frowned. He felt terribly for her. The ghoul tried so hard, only to watch the team fall apart.
Seeing her cling to Shun, Mot assume he would comfort the ghoul. From what he gathered, Shun was fond of her.

Turning back to Hel, Mot decided it was best to keep the Valkyrie's attention away from Riyo. That would be his job. "Hey, let's get that cleaned up, huh?" He suggested with a small smile, purposely blocking Hel's view of the feline.

Hel was going to try and retort to Riyo’s angsty outburst, but soon enough she felt the hold on her apron loosen, and then heard Shun’s sneer, and blinked. Wow. The reaper more or less took the words right out of her mouth and made them ten times more effective! Oddly, now, the valkyrie had nothing to add to that, so she just simply chuckled. Yep that’s right, she made a sound of amusement at Riyo being further scolded by Shun.

With Mot in the way still, she couldn’t really see what they were up to, but she could note the panic Mitsu seemed to be feeling. Poor ghoul, she’d have to talk to her here in a bit…but speaking of the cowboil standing right in front of her…

The valkyrie blinked as stared up at Mot. “…Huh?....Oh…yes, that is a wise idea, friend.” She conceded, wrinkling her nose as she then started to sift through her book bag, looking for a bottle of water.

After he had pushed Riyo back, Shun was going to walk back, but he soon felt that familiar tugging at his sleeve. Glancing down at the girl, the anger and sterness practically melted away from his features. He could hear it in her voice. She was upset.

Looking to her softly, he brought his hands up and placed them gently around her arms, shaking his head at her words.

"Don't apologize... this isn't your fault," he said quietly, "Shh..."

Her head had tilted forward so that she was looking toward the ground. She had really wanted everything to work out. In a perfect world they would have become closer friends during the field trip and maybe moved passed some of the insecurities or walls they all put up around one another. Instead it only looked like those walls were going to be refortified as the thought of growing closer crumbled into dust. At best Mitsu could hope they wouldn't continue to fight one another, especially if something terrible happened.

There was a small amount of comfort that Mitsu felt though at the light contact from Shun as well as his words. Her gaze finally shifted upward and she was almost surprised to find that softened expression. Had he really been angry moments ago? "I had suggested we all get together." Mitsu finally said. "I had just...hoped it would work out."

Hrrrmmm. It occurred to him only then that the ghouls he was with might have other boil- or ghoulfriends in other teams or waiting back at school. Boil- or ghoulfriends that might wail on him if said ghouls got hurt. Or died. Or so much as came back with a scratch. Ho boy . . . With his luck, one of them would be on the bruteball team to boot. He could easily be another statistic for the classic stuff-the-nerd-into-the-locker procedure if he wasn't careful.

It was thinking of this that the zombie was rather tight-lipped and ouo-faced when a second group of skull-patterned boils began to mingle with theirs - several of them obviously knew LW, especially the winged one who had stolen her away for affection and a tall, green-themed boil who had also garnered the werewolf's friendship. One of the other boils, a dark ghost with canine features, wished them each luck. Mortimer replied with twitch of his hand that was supposed to be some sort of friendly wave to return the sentiments -

LividPeas

Shia Bean

Kyrieko

Getsurae

kuromeez

OnionGrump

Dark Fire Angel

- until at last, he registered the commotion going on with a certain arm-band wearing team not far away. Turning, the zombie saw quite the schism between a winged reaper and a rather tall feline ghoul, which then encompassed the rest of their group: another broody looking boil, a more anxious mask-wearing ghoul, and a cowboil (cowboil? owo).

Now Mort wasn't all about to get super involved, especially when the tension was palpable between the other students, but he couldn't help but frown in his limited judgment. He hadn't actually heard what the arguing was about, but so far everyone seemed slated against the feline ghoul, who had bared her fangs in retaliation. How come? He felt terribly bad for her, as well as for the apologetic ghoul . . . This wasn't the sort of stuff that was supposed to happen right before a field trip!

Really, he couldn't help himself by staring.

Unaware and not caring that others were watching, Shun kept his attention onto Mitsu. It took him a moment or so to reply as he was trying to figure out what he should say exactly in return to that. Quite frankly, he had somewhat forseen issues with Riyo being on the team. She seemed to dislike people as a whole more than he did. On some levels they were alike, but he had a feeling their reasoning for things couldn't be any more different.

"You only suggested it. No one was forced into this. Everyone came onto this by their own free will. By doing so they should know what they'd have to do to make things work. It's not your fault if certain individuals decide they can't handle it, or if they're too good for it."

It was something he knew all too well. Sure, he wasn't happy about the setup, but whatever it was, there had to be a reason why they teams were required. As confident as he was, he wasn't stupid to think he could take on the world by himself. There were areas where he lacked in and he was aware of it. He was aware others could make up for his weaknesses and he could potentially do the same for them. If he could see this, why couldn't some others?

Ugh. This outburst between Riyo and Hel was likely going to bite them all in the a** later on. He just knew it.

Team ARPK

They'd all introduced themselves- at least, the two she didn't know, and Edel had greeted her. So far, so good. Vieve wasn't completely sure how she felt about the other team members, but they looked as if they could defend themselves- mostly.

At least Edel wasn't wearing a curtain today- the salamander had no inclination of holding her hand through the field trip, making sure she didn't trip over her dress. Rather, she was more than prepared to leave the others behind if the situation called for it. What were teammates, other than sacrifices to keep yourself alive?

"For varying definitions of 'exciting," she replied, moving closer to Edel as she turned to look at the other girl. The crowd was getting thicker, and a fight seemed to be breaking out somewhere nearby- how disgraceful, acting like that in front of the Bogeymen.

"I'm just wondering when this'll start.... I'm getting bored."

Team ARPK
It was evident that the atmosphere at the gathering point had become a little restless, the boogeymen and the professor had yet to say anything or give out any more instructions since they had finished their business with Roch. The frost demon wondered what they had wanted him for in the first place, though it didn't seem to be for anything good since the reaper boil had appeared to be startled and a little outraged after that. The waiting was a cue for some others to mingle about, though there wasn't much going on between her own group members at this point. For what it's worth, at least they were amiable to each other; Edel's attention had been drawn towards the fight happening between another group too. A part of the frost demon wondered how her team was going to work together, if they even did at all. The odds were that yes, they might have to, so perhaps getting to know each other a little better would have been ideal.

Alas, the frost demon had no inclination to be the outspoken one out of the lot – where was Lizzy when they needed her? Edel kept mum as the three ghouls stood together, waiting, with Vieve being the first to express her boredom unabashedly. Edel's eyes flitted over to the portal, watching to see if there were going to be anymore arrivals. It was likely that they were simply going to play the waiting game until all the students have made it across.

Until then....Edel let out a repressed sigh and started fiddling around with her hands.

The Trendzetters

Sepheran nodded lightly taking in all that the others said. "Very well," he replied before taking out his bag to fetch two of the three pumpkin pills leaving one in his bag. "Then one will be held by Livi, the other by Ebenezer and I'll carry the last. They'll be used by whoever will need them first, we'll need each other after all. If there is one thing I learned from these so called "field-trips" it's that it's better to be in a group then by yourself," Sepheran stated before handing the pills off to the new owners.

Hearing the siren speak about thinking positive he nodded in agreement. "He's right, we can't let ourselves lose when we haven't even started," he commented. "We have a nice group going on here...why don't we tell each other a little bit more about us, like basic abilities and such. I'm sure knowing what we have to work with could help us later on," the Basilisk suggested.

"I can go first...as you know I'm Sepheran. I'm a basilisk with the ability to make my nails into deadly poison. If I manage to get it into the bloodstream of my prey it can slow them down...after some time has passed of course. Let's see...I can also enhance my senses," the boil stated. "What about you guys?" he asked curiously.

Team Scarlet Sabbath

All during this time Roch had decided that waiting was going to kill them all long before they got into the haunted house. Hell, he'd caught sight of Hel and a tall chick duking it out not moments before, and the tension was starting to get to him. It was jackin' bad enough that he'd lost one of his abilities, that they were jackin' SURROUNDED by boogeys (and he seriously doubted it was for their protection.) But now--groups were in-fighting?

Well, not his, at least. But still!

And Hel was on Mot's team, and if those two brats wound up trying to kill one another, there was a jackin' good chance that the Bandit would get killed! You did not get his Bandit killed over some jackin' lame a** reason!

He lifted his fist, his eyes narrowed on the group, and summoned his guitar. Sure he was in a conversation with his team, but hell, when had that ever stopped him? (Roch never had learned good manners.) But instead of marching over there to lay out some demons and reapers--

He began to play. Danny's song, since it carried (he didn't have to play too loudly) and it was calming. Basically, this was Roch's way of saying "Calm. The. Jack. Down." To everyone on the field trip.

Somehow, Mot felt as though his team was being watched.
Then again, that was to be expected since they had caused such a ruckus.

Mot dug into the pockets of his duffel bag, looking for a tissue or something (which evidently he forgot to pack). There was a face cloth though, among the toiletries he had brought. Oh well, it would have to get stained with Hel's blood it seemed. It was no big deal. Helping the ghoul get cleaned up was a gentlemen's duty here.
Coupled with the water Hel was sure to find, he dampened the cloth and handed it to Hel.

Just then, music was heard. It could only mean one thing. The reaper turned his head and saw Roch playing a fantastic solo on his guitar. This earned a pleased smirk from the cowboil. "Keep it up, Punk!" Mot called out, giving the boil a thumbs up high in the air.

That certainly lifted his spirits!
