Manra:
The Ring glows and releases energy.
Eleutherius:
Before you can release the blast, you are disoriented by a change in scenery: a nonsensical maze of twisting staircases, doors everywhere, and gravitational alterations. Your will to fire the blast falters as you see this. You can no longer see Manra.
Manra:
"Attack!" Rai'o says. "Hit him! Go!"

I look around at the change in scenery. What the... How did I end up in this Labyrinth? Wait... this can't be real... could my opponent be using illusions? I have to counter this somehow... I think to myself while trying to remain calm and focused. WAIT A SECOND. If this is an illusion, then that means nothing has changed in reality I'll just have to put my faith in my aim and Shitai'ei's power! Then, from my still outstretched hand, I fire out the light energy in the form of a large laser, roughly half the size of a person.

Manra doesn't like the idea of hitting a teammate, but doesn't want to be hit by whatever the White Ring could do...so she ends up charging forward at Eleutherius, thinking to use her head, for more than just creating the illusion...It would hurt if it connected, but with Rai'o telling her to hit Eleutherius, she didn't know what else to do, as she would never make someone else hit their own friend on purpose.

The blast appears to simply break a wall and fade.
Manra:
As you head for Eleutherius, he sends out a blast that just barely misses you. You feel the heat on your right arm, but it doesn't hit you. He's still trapped.

Crap... I don't know if that worked or not... Shitai'ei, can you still hear me? Can you see what's happening? I think out. Then, to try to buy myself some time, I try to displace the light around me hopefully to darken where I am as much as possible.

Manra felt the warmth buzz by her, but not actually hit her. She took a side step, and continued towards Eleutherius. She was hoping a bit of a head bonk would make this fight over...with her head bonking his. Well, hopefully.

I jumped back slightly in surprise when the wall came up. I glanced over to the Earth Legion and nodded in understanding. As I heard Moriah speaking I placed my hand on my chin thoughtfully and continued to nod. "You have a point..." I glance up between the nobles and the wall where I'm sure Moriah and Maxwell were behind. "I apologize for not being as understanding as I should have," I bow slightly toward the nobles and then walk off to an area somewhat distanced from them and the others, I was rather embarrassed with my conduct. I also somewhat hoped Marco would follow me and not make a fool of himself.

You find yourself quickly shrouded in darkness.
Manra:
The area around Eleutherius grows dark just as you get near him. However, you are close enough to hit him without seeing him. Your head hits his. Your ears ring after the impact.
Eleutherius:
Suddenly. something hits you on the head. You fall over, completely disoriented. your head is throbbing. The illusion dissipates, and the light goes back to normal.

Manra feels the impact of her head hitting his. It hurt a bit, as she had already hit her head earlier that day when she tripped up. Her ears were ringing, and it was hard to focus on any of the things in her head with her head a bit sore and ears ringing. She ended up taking a few wobbly steps backwards.

I grasp my head and cringe from the hit for a moment before reopening my eyes. Seeing that the illusion is gone, I get back to my feet as quickly as I can. Though my head is in pain, I try my best to keep going and focus on the light again, trying to gather as much as I can in a short time.

Realizing my inability to gather energy in this state, I let out a disgruntled sigh and fall to my knees, weakly dissipating what little energy I had gathered in the process. "I yield..." I say reluctantly.

Manra dropped to her knees, as she thought to check on Eleutherius. "Are you okay?" she asked quietly. She had her right hand on the ground as a bit of a support, and her left thumb in her mouth. She was a bit nervous that she had really hurt him with her hard head.
