She didn't seem surprised, after all, she was only two years younger than him. "Twenty-seven here," the squirrel woman replied, watching him with mild interest, "And the accent... Where's that from?"

"Accent?" This did surprise her, and her eyebrow raised. No one really asked her about that. "Maryland, but I worked in D.C."

"Well D.C. is the capital of the United States. Middle of the East Coast," she explained, shrugging her shoulders, "I guess there are regional differences, but it just depends on who you're talking to. Like I've never thought I had an accent before."

He seemed unresponcive to her come on, or at least choosed to show no sign. After that night, he wasn't in the mood for come-ons. "Oh? Wha' part?"

"Nothin' wrong wit' me hair," He grunted, sliding down to let the water fill up towards his chin, his tentacles coiling on top of his stomach in a more comfortable fashion, teh webbing, thankfully, still keeping his privates hidden.
