Calder had been trying to fight the beast with what little he had, which more or less came down to taking his carrot wand and chucking that at the beast, and then stomping a hoof. The last part was a bad idea as it had taken several minutes to dislodge his hoof from the creature, which was enough time for several of his friends to get into trouble. Malodore was trying to talk business with the creature who was, as everyone was attacking, pretty much just eating up everything and looking far to big to be sweet and harmless, while Christof seemed to be getting torn up by some ghoul! If the boil was trying to make a good impression with Riley that he was the type of boilfriend you took home to mother, he really wasn't proving that now. It was a good thing that Riley was distracted with her boilfriend, which in this rare case, Calder was glad that Riley was around to keep Malodore from turning into a very unsatisfying snack (no meat and all). Calder was really wondering what went in the mind of the undead at times. Both Malodore and Christof weren't proving themselves as sane and shimmering examples of their kind.
When his foot was finally free, Calder turned to see Riley stepping in to protect Malodore with...well, he wondered what she'd do without a weapon, and then over to Christof who was - well that was an interesting position to show a ghoul!
It might have been nothing to write home about, because the ghoul outright laughed at what Christof was pretty much advertising to her, and even Calder winced. What a low blow! Then Christof punted her in the chest and wobbled off.
Walking over, Calder looked at the ghoul and then at his retreating friend, before letting out a sigh. "It's almost like how we first met." Oh, the violent memories.
Smiling, he trotted after Christof, wondering if his friend was okay. The guy was looking worse and worse through wear. "Hey buddy. You okay?"

It had taken him so long to get back to the booth, after hearing the monster hadn't been dead yet. So long, because that stupid creature had pinged him back to the start, and being in this form he couldn't shapeshift. When he finally made it, the thing seemed to be bigger than it had been before, staring at him with huge eyes that made his skin crawl in a way that just wasn't natural for a skinwalker, and he scowled, grabbing his bead 'lasso' again.
"NO, I will not form a contract with you. I'm going to kill you, and you are going to DIE."
So violent!

Turning with a very dark and frustrated expression to his friend, Christof's hands moved in sharp, quick movements as he signed: "Dress-stupid. Ghoul-stupid. Want-pants." This was punctuated by a snort.

Calder reared back a bit at his friend's [removed](not improved by his almost falling-off face), and his wild, angry gestures. It was a good thing Calder was studying, and he caught the words. Good thing they were basic too. If he had failed to catch Christof's meaning, he was sure his friend would have pummeled him just to vent a bit.
The kelpie considered some harmless teasing in how pretty Christof looked, but he very much doubted he would get away with it at this current time. At least the boil didn't have a shovel. Seeing his friend rather frustrated, Calder sighed and considered all the best known ways to perk his friend up. Seems I do this a lot.
Walking over, he rose his hands to show he was unarmed and set a hand on the boil's hunch. Oh, this dress was made from some very nice fabric, and the stitching was great! OH CRAP! I'm turning into my dad here!
Aheming, Calder pointed over to the monster. "How about you go over and help Riley out so that Malodore doesn't get pummeled to death. She might need a nice, strong, boil around and if the creature attacks, you can beat the tar out of it. Sound fun?" He said, patting his friend. "....or we can find someone to fix all...." Calder vaguely gestured to Christof's face. "....that." He had no idea what had happened to his friend's face, but he didn't think having his friend tell him would improve his mood. Usually beating the hell out of something did, and Calder did not want to be that something.

Despite all the students' efforts, it sat there, staring at them, looking somewhat amused, if anything.OwO It looked genuinely creepy. Those... glowing red eyes, that fluffy, white tail, those strange ears. Were they cat ears? Bunny ears? No one knew. For that matter, no one knew what this creature was, either. Perhaps what sounded like 'FORM A CONTRACT WITH ME' in their language was actually 'MY NAME IS DOODIE' in the abomination's language- after all, they'd just conveniently made the assumption that they were all speaking the same language. Huh. The students (and students-to-be) stared back at the abomination, wondering what was to become of them all. And then....Pffffffffffffffffffffffffffbbbbbbbbbbtttttt. With a strange sound, the abomination.... deflated, and a familiar bunny-girl came into view.
Wait. What.
Had the abomination been.... a balloon? Which would mean.. this whole evacuation camp had been a ruse? Or a dream? A hallucination? No wonder the whole experience had been so trippy- Magical Girl Hellma hadn't really existed.. had she?
The students stared. The bunny-girl looked more like a deer in headlights. Bambi was cuter than Thumper anyway, right?
"I hope you enjoyed the entertainment we put up for you, pyon!" With a snap of her fingers, there was a puff of suspiciously pink smoke; and when the smoke cleared, there was no trace of Usa-pyon, or the evacuation camp. Everything was gone; they found themselves just standing in a group. A ridiculously dressed group.
Wait. What.
One particular student, however, felt something strange in her hand- when had it gotten there? The illithid held it up, examining it- it seemed to be a small puff of fluff...
