Clarissa had a brief feeling of 'OMG! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS GUY DOING?!' when he came running at her full speed and jumped into the air howling. However as he came flying towards her with a kick obviously in mind from the leg sticking out at her, she went into another Elephant kick. She wasn't fast enough to avoid his blow so she hoped to cause some damage to him as well. And from how big he was and how fast the kick was coming it was going to hurt, a lot. And it didn't disappoint. She aimed to her kick to collide with his, but that didn't spare her the blow. She went sprawling, the air in her lungs gushing out in one forced exhale. Elephant Kick Rank: D Description: This kick is, simply enough, a strong roundhouse-like kick used from the back leg to fully extend and strike the head or torso of an opponent. There are two things that set this off from most kicks of its kind though, and the first is the part of the leg the kick uses to strike an opponent. Rather than using their foot, this kick strikes with the lower part of the user's shin. The hard bone creates more force and generates a more damaging impact. Also, unlike other kicks this one fully unloads the user's power. This is good for if it lands, as it will go through most defenses and even possibly break an arm that tries to stop it, but if it flat out misses then the force will follow the kick and spin the user completely around, making them turn their back to their opponent. Even if it is blocked this kick will send most people flying through a tree fifteen feet away, but missing often gives the opponent a split-second to strike at your back.

Raven swallowed his fear, he could not allow himself to lose. He also couldn't allow himself to fight at close or long range...he had to keep Vulcan at a distance, so hopefully his blade would be enough. "I can hear you...you're hungry, aren't you?" Raven drew his blackened katana and faced down Vulcan. "Then...feel free to feast." Raven had to wait for Vulcan to enter a certain...range before he could fight back. It was clear from him not moving that Raven was not going to be afraid, but it was also clear from his refusing to charge forward that he still had some fear. Raven placed both hands on the grip and made sure to aim the blade tip toward Vulcan. He wasn't ever going to try to stab him with this blade though, this was a cutting sword. "I can do this...I can do this...big sis will be disappointed if I tell her I lost." Truthfully...Chase scared Raven far more than Vulcan did, so...he had to win.

"Good, this warm up will be more interesting than I thought." Vulcan thought to himself a grin widening on his face, his shades had fallen off revealing his golden eyes that were full of hunger. The hunger for battle. Vulcan released a roar and barreled into his much smaller foe all two hundred plus pounds of his weight rushing like a freight train.

xZeev could feel the shock through his whole body as their kicks collided, and he was sent spiraling to the ground. He pulled himself up, and then half-limped/half-hop over towards the girl's direction, as he was having difficulty moving on with his injured leg. No longer in a rational mind-set, after the third awkward step, he leaped forward while tucking into a roll and unleashed an axe kick aimed at the girl's head. x

What a strange man...battles were supposed to be fought with elegance and style, he was such a brute. Raven wasn't able to just stand there to land his strike, he'd yet to learn what this man was capable of. So as Vulcan made his approach Raven went underneath one of his arms and around to his back while making a complete one-eighty. From this angle he had a good sight of the larger man's back. With all the force he could muster Raven made a swing at Vulcan's vulnerable ribcage. If this blade cut in to one of them it would cripple Vulcan enough to give Raven a fighting chance.

Once the boy spun around him Vulcan hit the brakes, using his momentum to spin into an elephant kick that would hit the boys blade as it slashed. The blade would easily cut through his skin which was sort of like leather armor, but the bone of the shin? Well, it would be like clashing a katana against a titanium sledgehammer being swung at great speeds. "I'm going to break you."
Elephant kick used.

Clarissa allowed herself a small smile. It looked like one of his legs was about shot. If she kept focusing on taking out his legs or arms she was sure she could win this. But she was going to have to watch. Clarissa herself was having trouble moving because of the jarring pain in one of her legs. She knew that impact was going to hurt. Uh uh. She was not letting that crazy man get on top of her. At her level of skill if she got pinned she was out. However she still couldn't breath right from his kick, so she rolled to the side as best and fast as she could. Hopefully his kick wouldn't land or at least not land on her head.

Raven visibly cringed as his sword met bone, of course the force nearly knocked him off his feet. The only thing that saved him was a second blade, he jabbed it in to the ground and allowed himself to lean up against it to keep himself from moving anywhere past the sword. The other thing that made him cringe was Vulcan's reaction to this...what was this guy built of? "You're insane!" Raven exclaimed before dragging his blade downward to create a long cut with the exit of the blade. Raven's shoulders hurt from trying to remain steady after that...heck...his shoulder could've been kicked out of socket if he was weaker. Raven backed up slowly, he couldn't handle this head-on, he was going to have to play chase with this man.

Theme: Song of the Ancients (Fate)Vulcan seized his opportunity when the boy was stunned and had cringed he quickly took up a boxers stance and began sending off an onslaught of punches so fast that they would appear as blurs he aimed many at the boys face, but others at the boys stomach But he also was prepared to punch the boys blade should it come up to defend. He cared not about shedding blood, he enjoyed it. Even if it was his own. Violent fist used* (I'll start using my posting format in the next post. I wanted to reply as quickly as possible this time though. xD))

Raven knew that as soon as he started getting hit it was time to get back. He swung his blade horizontally in an attempt to land a glancing blow on Vulcan, at the same time he threw himself backwards and landed on his back. There was no doubt he took hits, but it was less severe than it would have been and he took far less damage. He scrambled back up to his feet and continued to slowly advance backwards with his katana still aimed at Vulcan. He couldn't afford to get aggressive here, otherwise he'd be taken down. He had to be cautious.
