Omega Ability: Psychic Laceration Location:Danger Room. Dominik managed a grin at Kerrigan despite all encroaching chaos, heaving his form back slightly as he helped her unto the window ledge, and then into the abutting room, "Oh yeah, it’s been a blast.” His tone carried just a wee hint of sarcasm, though not enough to truly render him displeased with the scenario; again, it beat the ******** hell out of studying. If given the option, he’d take bullets over textbooks anyday. Seriously.
Knoxx proved fast on her feet, one arm slinging to block the man as two more holograms pushed their way in, her gun firing off shots before the Slovenian could even think on which weapon he’d rather use; god-given, or man-made. He blinked, his thumb pressing idly against the handle of his own gun, arm resting with the realization that his services wouldn’t yet be needed. The red-head motioned, and opting for stealth, the Slovene acknowledged her gesture with a nod. They set to the hallways, his back riding the closest wall; Kerrigan spoke up again, and Dominik mulled over the demand for only a moment, ”Agreed. At least up there we might be able to see what’s coming,” The adjoining buildings and alleyways provided numerous hiding spots for pesky holograms, ”Unless it’s friendly fire, of course…” With that, he resigned himself to the comm, voice fast finding Aren’s frequency, ”By the way, Tiny—you’re a dead man. Don’t think for one second that I missed you shooting at me.” The Native American wouldn’t be getting away with it, either. A grin encompassed his features, his tone lowering for the sake of stealth…and in attempt to take the simulation seriously.
So far, that wasn’t working so well for him…although he managed to follow Knoxx’s lead well enough despite it. Truth be told, he’d not given a lot of credence to Megan’s presence until Kerrigan spoke up again, the Slovene nodding his assent to the change in plans and moving just at quickly to be at her heels when they set off, ”Lead the way,” He responded sagely, the accent intertwining his syllables falling passively. To some degree, the man harbored an ability to respect authority—especially if the one giving the orders was actually respectable. And from what little they knew of each other, Kerri didn’t seem so bad at all. The gun in Dominik’s hand remained raised but stationary, his fingers falling from the trigger when he at last opted to rely on his abilities; learning his way around a firearm would have to wait.
Shots fired from Kerrigan as they rounded the corner, Megan’s shorter form darting for them in a way which was perhaps inadvertent…but practical, nonetheless. Holograms spilled into the area behind her, all in pursuit, and the man focused his concentration on the nearest. His pupils dilated, and simultaneously a large gash flayed the nearest of them, instantly reducing it to ashes.
Fire came from somewhere above their heads, a la Maddy, followed quickly by a request for assistance. Megan had started shooting as well, making a comment about bright ideas which brought a slight smile to the Slovene’s lips…that alone was in rare form for him; his opting to keep any comments on the matter tethered, however, not so much. ”Maybe I should backtrack a bit; see if I can help Psyche at all.” He offered briskly, steps already maneuvering him to turn and pass another corner—which was when he saw Roland barreling towards her like a bat out of hell, with what the Slovene assumed was the intent to help.
’But really, with that guy, who the ******** can ever be sure...’ The mutant thought idly, supplementing the action with a roll of his eyes. Fire sparked in the distance again, the chaos around him thick, yet through it his eyes caught the familiar movements of his friend; his soon-to-be annihilated, native American friend. ”On second thought…” Knowing that this wasn’t a totally serious situation, that Maddy was more or less covered, presented the excuse for a little fun. Right? Eeh, either way…he resorted to the gun again, following Aren to wherever he might be going, and leveling it when he had a clear shot. He fired. Fired again; soon enough, the other man started firing back, and in the haze of gunfire, a few of the damn holograms started firing too. But Dom never let Aren from his sights, not even to inspect the percentage of life he still possessed…whiiich wasn’t much by this point, and after another few shots between them, the two managed to clip each other in the chests almost simultaneously, effectively booting them from the simulation.
The world fell, the cities crumbled, the holograms disappeared. And Dominik, a little out of sorts, released a few choice words from under his breath. ”Damnit…” His gaze swept to Aren, brow furrowing a tad, ”For the record, I’m sure I killed you first.”

Omega: Danger Room -- Simulation, go! Maddy's calls for help did not fall on deaf ears, Kerrigan speaking into her own comm as she once more took aim at the approaching holograms, finger squeezing down fluidly over the trigger. She dispatched of one getting a bit too close with a single shot to the head, a slice from Dice dispatching of another one just as quickly. That would sure be one handy ability to have, that's for sure. " You got it, Psyche. Hang in there, we'll be there as soon as we can," she called back, unaware that Roland was already heading in her direction. The redhead simply managed a curt nod as Dom suggested that he made his way towards their comrade in need, especially when Megan got herself together enough to start firing at her attackers. It at least gave her a moment of breathing room as the brunette slung a spray of fire down the alley. The redhead quickly glanced up, noticing that help was on the way for Maddy, Dom turning his sights on a target Kerri didn't have time to focus on as she started firing at the dwindling swarm of holograms bottlenecking into the alleyway. It made for easy pickings, though as soon as she heard a shot from a different direction, the redhead pivoted around, only to see Aren take a shot at Dom, who shot back. Both were eliminated from the simulation, Kerri muttering a curse under her breath as she returned her fire towards the holograms. " Digger, we're heading up - I'll cover us from this way, let's get our asses back inside," she spoke simply, not really giving the girl much room to argue. There were only a few holograms left at that point, but considering they'd semi-cleared the building when they were on the way down, it would be safer to have her in front, Kerrigan bringing up the rear. Her body stiffened as she was shot in the leg, her suit alerting her that her damage level was now at half. At least there were only two of them out so far - as a whole they weren't doing too shabby, though it still felt like mostly chaos. Kerrigan backed up at a slightly quickened pace, hoping to gently push the younger team member towards the building so they could keep moving. " Psyche, we're making our way up. Keep your eyes peeled - we don't want anymore friendly fire." She hoped that the two idiots known as Aren and Dom would hear her - this was only a simulation, but when it came to the field, Kerrigan took everything seriously. No doubt, Cissa or herself would have to have a talk with them later.

She had to wonder, if, once they were back at the mansion, if he'd need to spend another week in the infirmary.
The little girl's fingers tightened around the threads in Aurelie's shirt when Reggie approached them, but her azure eyes flickered in agreement. With her teammate's mutation, it'd be better for the child to go with her. “No...” Gemma whispered, burying her face into the telekinetic's chest. “Don't leave me.” Her voice held a tremor that made the blond's heart melt, pulling at the strings there.
But like a mother would, the blond patted her back, rocking her in a swaying motion. “It's okay... she's with us; she'll take care of you just like I would. And... if you look at her in the sunlight... she kind of sparkles like you!” Aurelie cooed, kissing the girl's forehead before trying to hand her off to the raven haired steel girl. “I'll come see you in a little bit Gemma... but I don't want you to get hurt while we take care of the crowd, okay?”
The glitter girl nodded her head once, sniffling as she wiped a tear off of her cheek with the back of her hand. “Promise?” And that elicited a small smile on Aurelie's face. Had it been so long since she'd been around kids, that she was affected so profoundly by one lost in the mall? Apparently, but it was one promise that she'd have no trouble fulfilling. “And we'll get ice cream after you get all settled into the academy.” She said, trying to lift the girls' spirits. “You like ice cream, right?” Another nod, and Gemma reached for Reggie at last.
“Be a good girl and hang onto her – Reggie won't let anything get you.”
Eli asked if they were leaving yet, and Aurelie shrugged, eyes reverting back to the growing riot. “I don't know...” The situation was too much for them to just walk away; it wasn't the X-men way. Retreat only when necessary – help the problem if they can. And, if he looked around... he'd definitely see the need to help.
The telekinetic missed completely that Alex was admiring her form. And as such, even if they weren't in the middle of a fight, she wouldn't have taken note of the blush in the girl's cheeks. For now, she contributed it to stress, and not wandering eyes; it was a stressful situation that they found themselves in – the adrenaline could easily pool in that light crimson hue that had taken hold of Alex's flesh. The French girl voiced the same thing to Eli that she'd not been able to put into words – they couldn't leave, until the riot had been taken care of.
Tara showed up in the midst of all the chaos, and Aurelie extended a raised eyebrow as her greeting. Introductions could come later; for now, they needed to focus on what was at hand. Lexi reassured Alex that she'd be of some use to the team, that they all had each others' backs.
In truth, Aurelie wanted to follow the child out, just to be sure she was okay. But the team needed her, whereas Gemma would be completely fine. She stood, shifting her weight uncomfortably from foot to foot – heart telling her one thing, duty telling her wholly another. She sufficed for a wave, biting the inside of her cheek with a silent prayer that they'd make it out alright.
Bella dished out another order for Eli, Leo and herself... which steeled her need to remain with the Alphas inside – they needed as many hands as they could get... and Gemma would be safe in just a few short minutes, after all. However the reasoning went though, the telekinetic felt a few pangs of guilt hit her for leaving the child, who had no one else. The spider woman had rightly stuck several people up to the ceiling.
“Anyone have a pocket knife? I can lift you up there..” But none of them needed to touch the sticky, thready substance that bound the innocent to the building's structure. Already Aurelie was lifting herself from the floor, sapphire gems looking to Eli and Leo to see if they'd like a boost. Leo probably wouldn't mind it, but she didn't know if Eli had an adversity to heights or not.
But just as she'd said it, another order was given, one that left her a bit unsteady, blood tingling from a nervous adrenaline swimming in her veins. Re-group near the fountain, so she could explain of trouble. Well, more trouble, if that were even possible. A fire started in a nearby store, and Aurelie coughed as the smoke brought tears to her eyes. Suddenly, getting those people down had become a lot more important; they'd suffocate if the fire grew. And if they didn't get them down in a good amount of time... even if the flames were out, the smoke would do irreparable damage to their lungs.
The dragon moved in the air, spitting out acid to give the fire room to grow. There was simply too much for them to even hope to put it out. Not without a hydrokinetic, and a power house to take down the scaled fire-breathing monstrosity in the air.. Without another thought, Aurelie moved her hands in a sweeping motion to throw objects that were loose for the taking at him, hoping it'd distract him enough not to kindle the flames.
Smog flourished in the common area, rising high to the ceilings.
Bella had taken to helping the boy that they'd saved from the bullies, and Aurelie focused on the task that she'd been given. Get the people out of that web. Or they would die there. Something shot at the system meant to keep fires at bay – and Aurelie cursed under her breath. This was so not the day she'd wanted at the mall. Really, they'd just been going.. to get away from the large crowds of new teammates. Nervous as she had been, Leo had picked up on it and helped her adjust. And now, she wished that he'd have forced her to consort with everyone at once, to get her used to the idea of a larger team, as this entire fiasco, was their fault. For being good Samaritans.
Leo began working on a man who'd been knocked to the floor, ever careful not to get caught in the web himself. Aurelie stepped down from the air, dashed to the Kay Jewelers, broke open a case, and stole the biggest diamond she could find in a hurry. The carbon would cut through the webbing, a lot easier than she could.
She lifted herself off of the floor once again, and began using the edge of the rings to cut through thick strands. If real diamonds could cut through glass, with enough force, they'd be able to make mincemeat of the binds. “Hold on... you're going to feel yourself start to fall, but I promise I'll catch you.” She murmured, using her telekinesis to hold the diamond and push it against the webs. That way was safer, and more efficient than doing it herself. But even still, it was painstaking, and water fell from her eyes as the smoke rose. A knife would do better, or some acid to burn through it.
After making a lot of sawing actions with the diamonds – (she lifted more after deciding to use the telekinesis to cut it), Aurelie broke through, and like she'd said... the man had began to fall, extracting a “Whoah” from his lips as his form jolted towards the floor. But she'd held true to her promise, depositing him gently on the ground so that he could book it. Unlike the human that Leo had helped, there was no thank you, or bidding adieu. He simple dashed towards the door, wheezing from the amount of smoke he'd inhaled.
Fire swirled below, the heat beginning to make Aurelie's skin prickle uncomfortably. There were two more... rather than waiting to cut the strings to dislodge the pair, the telekinetic pulled at them, pulled to break the webs free from the wall, and let them too, sink down to the earth, as though they were a feather, floating on a breeze.
It'd been then that the mutant had twisted Bella's arm, that the little geeky kid had transformed into a tall version of a smurf. She inhaled a sharp, short breath – dragging smoke into her lungs when Toad came out, and eyed Alex and herself like they were horses to be poked and prodded at an auction. A shiver rose in her back at the thought of the grotesque man getting too close, but she repressed it, not allowing herself to be bothered by some amphibian's threats. Leo snarled out a tart threat, and not for the first time, she was happy to have him on their side, rather than their adversaries. Truthfully Aurelie would rather have had to work in one of Wolverine's danger room sessions for himself than have Toad pawing at her. And by the looks of it, so would Alex.
He stepped up to be the leader for now, barking out orders to help them against the brotherhood members. She motioned for a few humans running to tug on the webs, and drag the ones they'd yet freed to safety. It was only going to get more messy from here on out, and she didn't have the time to spare in untying them. Some merciful soul outside could take care of the rest. Aurelie's feet moved her to stand right next to Leo, waiting for any sort of sign to charge.
It was obvious by the directions he was giving, that he, the other blond and herself would be left to fend off Mystique... at least until the Omegas or the Senior X-men got there. Right now, she'd love to have someone as harsh as she'd heard Cissa could be at their backs.
Reggie was back, quicker than expected.. another small blessing in the thick of the war... until she realized that Gemma was still with her. s**t. “Someone let out the crazies from the asylum.” The blond answered dryly, wishing to have some straight jackets for mutants right about now. Hadn't someplace been advertising those? Offering up a silent prayer, Aurelie put shields around the group once again. Eli was off, but not before the former dancer ushered a good luck to him – he'd need it.
Lexi and Tara had been assigned to Toad... and they both seemed ready and able to do what he'd suggested.
Now the trouble was... just how to get Bella out... without getting anyone on their side hurt. Sapphire orbs darted to Gideon, who'd been introduced as her boyfriend just hours ago, when he'd given her an apple to match his own. And now? She wished life would be that simple again. But as it were, it'd be a long time before anyone in the media forgot the fight that had broken out.
Just when was all the back up coming again?

Omega/ Danger Room/ WarriorJacen had continued his general bash and mash of the Artificial Intelligence programs, gradually stopping with using the gun as a long-range weapon along the way. Unless you count that time he threw it. Which totally worked by the way. Lillian was right in her assessment of Kraken as brutal. In real-life he’d never use such excessive force. He held back the more savage side of himself when dealing with humans or other mutants. Hank had warned him about that being a… side-effect for mutant with more animalistic abilities, and Jacen always made conscious effort to keep in control. But these simulations gave him free reign and clear conscious, and it really might be a little frightening to see just how good the curly-haired Omega was at absolutely ending people. He didn’t relish it like Paladin seemed to, it just… happened. Time would fly by till something snapped him out of it, like a call from a team-mate trapped on the roof. Jacen blinked, eyes turning from the red-rimmed, slitted pupils of brutality to their normal ocean blue. He frowned in a second of confusion before dodging a fresh barrage of bullets, flipping and rolling behind cover in an alleyway. From his vantage point he couldn’t see anyone else, and briefly wondered whether they had all left the danger room with the simulation on, before a shadow passing over him alerted him to Roland roof-jumping above him. ‘Cool, up we go I suppose.’ he said, right as the A.I.’s from seconds ago rounded the corner and opened fire once more. Kraken jumped, bouncing off a dumpster, to a wall swinging around a fire-escape ladder and ricocheting through a window in a vertical zig-zag to avoid the lasers. What is that you say? Kraken doesn’t know Parkour? No, no he doesn’t. He has created his own form of the l'art du déplacement, defined, as a certain red-head put it, as any point when Jacen moves faster than a slow walk. Either way, he found himself crouched in the room Sidetrack, Rave, and the New-Girl were holed up in. “Oh, Hello guys.” He said, “Enjoying the game?”

╰☆╮ Name: Katarina Force ╰☆╮ Alias: Kali ╰☆╮ Team: Unaliged╰☆╮ Ability: Shape Shifter ╰☆╮ Location: Shopping Mall ╰☆╮
"Let me believe it's not me. Not my eyes, that you see. I've only just begun... I can be anyone." ✬════━━┈┈┈☆┈┈┈━━════✬ She remained in the shadows as the fighting started. They hid her diminutive form from the chaos… And when she couldn’t hide in plain sight, she used her particular skills to look like someone, or something else. She was drawn to dark corners, overhangs, and mezzanines… Just as she often mapped out a series of easily accessible entrances and exits. She liked to face the door, in any setting.
But when the shopping center turned into a mutant witch-hunt…She knew when to back away.
Katarina had always heard that American’s were pro-war, and that they thoughtlessly backed George W in his ridiculous foreign policy…Or lack thereof… But she’d always dismissed it as the grumbling of the more closed minded. Her professors had been a variety of nationalities…Though somehow, mostly restricted to European.
But stereotypes happened everywhere…Just like American’s seemed to associate Italy with spaghetti, the mafia, wine and the Pope…That wasn’t all there was to Italian society… So why would war mongering extremists be all there was to America?
She was starting to rethink her initial assessment however… Watching family’s hide and a mutant, too strong for his own good send another man, whose face she couldn't see, crashing through a store window, she shook her dark head in disappointment. This was no way to act. Not in a country that was on the verge of legalizing the bounty hunting of their kind.
Maybe her instructors hadn’t been wrong about everything.
The shape shifter had been in the United States for a little over a month. Before actually heading to the Xavier Academy, she left several different paper trails that would lead HYDRA to believe she was hiding in other countries. But the last of her contacts was drying up…The last of her connections closing off. Word had spread faster than she’d anticipated about her desertion. On her own…She knew she could only survive so long…No matter how much she’d trained, or studied to be invisible…
HYDRA would find her eventually. They’d found Hostile Project X-20.
They would find her.
She headed towards one of the exits as quietly and unobtrusively as possible, avoiding the breaking glass, and the fights as much as possible. Katarina was aware; she was the type of woman that shut a room down. She was used to causing a fuss the moment she walked into any establishment. In Rome, she’d been recognized in the area as the adopted child of the Contessa… And had taken to carrying weapons, always. Not everyone liked the Contessa.
But the only weapon she had one her person at the moment was a custom ceramic blade that sat in a harness that ran along her spine, handle at the base. It was tight enough against her body that she could shift with it. Metal detectors couldn’t catch it, and it was nigh invisible to the naked eye… But if push came to shove… She still had some line of defense, other than shifting.
Still, she hoped to keep it sheathed.
Katarina was nearly home free when something caught her attention. Two somethings, actually. One…Was someone throwing a bottle at a white haired man. And two…Was his reaction. Long, shiny, metallic claws popped out of his hand. Three of them, straight out of his knuckles… She recognized the claws, moreso than the man…There hadn’t been many to survive the program he’d been in. And even fewer mutants, with such a distinctive trademark. He’d been on HYDRA’s list to either kill or acquire for years. “X-20…”
Realizing her mistake in saying the man’s former name, she cursed her own foolishness and allowed herself to slip into the crowd…Painting an innocent, frightened expression on her lovely features. It was a face that knew the way to a man’s heart, and could wrap anyone around her little finger…If there was such a thing, that could be done.
Though Katarina well knew the way to a man’s heart.
The true way wasn’t a pretty face… But around six inches of metal, or something like it between the ribs. Sometimes four inches would do the job, but just to be sure that her mark wouldn’t survive…She’d only ever had six. It amused her, to an extent, how potentially phallic objects were always more useful the bigger they were.
Anyone who stated size didn't matter has been seeing too many small knives.
With one last glance back at X-20… She hoped it wouldn’t come down to that.
The shape shifter continued on, her chin tucked low enough that her hair obscured her facial features…Needing to put distance between herself, and one of the most destructive mutants she’d ever heard of. Her efforts to escape were thwarted as the floor shook, and suddenly one of the storefronts seemed to explode. Caught by a sudden burst of heat, she swiftly ducked behind one of the stand alone info kiosks to avoid the explosion of glass.
Unknowingly, this now faced her towards someone else that she knew, someone else that she’d actually met.
Once upon a time, his employer, and her owner had decided that romance was in the air. Or something like it. Who knew, what kind of dysfunctional mess they’d gotten themselves into. But when it had gone sour they’d been pitted against each other more than once. Her head turned to the side, facing the dragon of flame—Hands pressed against the plastic, she had yet to realize he was there.
The last report she’d heard on the SHIELD agent, was that he’d gone rogue. It hadn’t been a disappointment to her…He’d often gotten in the way of her own objectives. Usually, she infiltrated a facility or home as a colleague or a loved one…Got what secrets she could from them… And then blacked out the target. Neutralized. Made certain that they could never again be a threat. He’d specialized in being a body guard, and had more than once gotten in her way.
Their last encounter, he’d followed her while she wore the body of a high-ranking officials nine year old. She’d killed the girls’ father, while HYDRA held her hostage for the rest of the family to ransom for. The exchange had been made between shifts of her security… The pesky SHIELD agent had been hired to protect the girls father…But they’d sought to protect the wrong person. She’d worn the dark haired little girls form for too long… Exhausted, and thinking herself safe she’d made the mistake of shifting back.
He’d seen her…Seen her face. Her true face…So naturally an epic fight to the death had ensued. One that they’d both bloodily escaped.
They’d seen each other a few times after that, missions intersecting… Both working for the other side. If anyone would recognize her…It would be him. Not X-20.
Not yet.
Her wintry steel blue eyes watched some Smurfette hold a girl hostage… Watched apprehensively as flame took shape and started to terrorize shoppers… She all but ignored the group near the fountain, viewing the woman with the space age gun, and the pyrokinetic as the larger threat.
She had one, crystal clear thought, as she pressed herself closer to the kiosk.

Omega. Danger Room: Simulation. Going up in the world. Not quite what I had in mind. Things were happening really fast and Megan only had time to look up as both Dom and Aren blew each other away and out of the simulation. Megan looked to Kerrigan who was obviously none too pleased with the outcome of that situation and nodded on the order to get inside. Without another word she hurried into the building and paused waiting for Kerrigan to hurry in. ”I take it that friendly fire was not what was on the docket for this simulation?” Megan asked as soon as the red head joined. Megan slammed the door shut and quickly grabbed hold of a near bye door frame and with a grunt pulled a nice sized length of it off and used it to brace the door shut. It wasn’t going to hold up for long and especially if the simulations simply shot through the door but it would buy them some extra time and in this simulation Megan was sure time was something that one wanted to make the absolute best use of. ”Won’t hold up for long but it’ll bye us a few minutes to head up.” Megan was partially amazed on how one’s mind began to get creative idea’s when under pressure. She had another idea for the stairwells and making them difficult to navigate for the simulations. ”You go up first I’m going to try and rip up the stairs...it should slow them down...at least a little bit.” She said and began to rip at the walls and then tear at the stairs as soon as Kerrigan was behind her. It took Megan maybe a minute or two to litter the stairs with rubble from the walls and chunks of the stairs themselves. Megan stopped her project when she heard the simulations hitting the braced door and trying to force it open. ”Coming!” She called and double timed it to catch up with Kerrigan. ”Won’t stop them but it’ll take them a little bit to clear those stairs and they’re at the door now so we’d best hurry.” She said trying not to be edgy or jumpy but this wasn’t quite what she was used to dealing with. In a way it was probably best she be nervous now and get it out of her system than when it really mattered and people needed her to be level headed.

xxxxxxxxxx ➸ ▬▬▬ O m e g a ' s ☭ SIZE Shifting Native______________ Danger roomxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
”That's exactly what I'm saying, ki'somma. I have to watch my backside some days when he's around.” Aren nodded sagely, shooting one of the hollograms just off center. “I'd be better with a bow.” He muttered, unhappily, despite the fact that he had neutralized the target. Obviously, he was going to need to practice with a gun to modernize himself.
She smirked when he complimented her leather, giving her know-it-all reply. “I never doubted the truth in that for a second.” Sassy, attractive blond in tight fitting clothing? Win.
He obediently closed his eyes when she directed that he do so, chuckling at the thought of their enemies drooling at the sight of her. It wasn't far off... but he'd not voice that, because she might take him seriously, which would kill the game they were prone to playing. She nudged him in one direction, bidding him to open his eyes again, and he was happy for the warning so that he'd not be blind. “I take it you got that lesson from Frosty the Snowbitch?” He asked, grinning as he said it.
She'd either really hate the comparison, or think it really funny that he had called her that. Or both. Probably Option C.
The native shot Dom in the back as the ducked for cover, finding the simulation a tad bit too amusing to resist. After all, this was supposed to be for fun, right? What was more fun, than shooting his best friend in the a**? At this point in time, nothing convenient came up as an idea.
“I don't think so, Dom. And it's 'Measure,' not 'Tiny.'” Aren cheesed into the comm, also quiet for the sake of not getting caught. “Didn't you take history? When the Europeans battled against the natives, they lost.” Not exactly true, but he doubted the Slovene knew that.. he didn't seem the type to pay attention.
For a second, Aren thought he was in the clear – that Dom wouldn't make good on his threat. But the man backtracked firing when he had a clear shot... Aren didn't make it easy for him, shooting back as the second hit him. The native let off several rounds, killing a few hollograms in the process, when they started buzzing out their own shots. Shortly after, both he and Dom were clipped in the chest by another's shot, and were thrown from the simulation.
Well, ********.
Meh, at least they'd had fun.
Aren rubbed his temple to alleviate the lightheaded feeling the simulation had left him with. “Please, Slovene.” He rolled his chocolate eyes heavenward. “I definitely tagged you first.”

"Well what are we supposed to do with them? Im sure we can take em to the mansion for a little while till someone picks them up...then again if nobody does we're stuck being parents."
Bianca had point when she gave her guess about her owner. If these little youngsters did have special talents their chances of being safe would be low if they were given to the cops or anyone else in this mall. There chances of survival would drop futher with what happened after Bella told them to regroup at the fountain if they could. The A&F store that was once there bursted into flames instantly. The playboy dropped along with Bianca when she tugged on him, wondering what happened now. Maybe someone managed to get a hold of a molotov and decided to heat things up(pun intended.). But when the fire formulated into a dragon it was clear that the average mallgoer didn't have skills to pull of something like that.
"That dragon made out of fire says yes." he told her. The situation got even more serious but if he or she was against the alpha's they would have a hard time trying to take down Dimitri due to his own powers. As a result he was only half worried.
He tried to calm the panicked kids down by telling them that it is okay. Dimitri doubted that it would work instantly but it was better than letting them continue without doing anything. He stood up right after Bianca trying to find out where the fire dragon came from when Raine checked in, seeing if things were okay on their side.
"You know me, I'm good." he replied with a mix of cockiness and confidence on his communication device.
And it looked like the Alpha's were not getting any good luck on their side anytime soon after the arrival of Gideon. Dimitri looked along with Bianca to see their leader Bella seconds away from her brains and her gorgeous face being blown to bits by a female that looked like she forgot to take off the paint after an AVATAR scene. The fire dragon's owner showed up as well, emerging from Abercrombie and Finch rocking a crimson red backpack and goggles and kermit the frog's brother he never talks about made an apperance.
"What are you talking about, I think you look nice." he told Bianca as he dropped to one knee, taking what she said out of context on purpose. "Oh you mean our situation, yeah this sucks."
"We cantake em to saftey ourselves. Back the way we came. I don't wanna ditch em but they'll be fine on their own, they're Alphas." he told Bianca. There was Tara, Alex,Varis, Leo, more than enough to outnumber Mystique Pyro and Toad. "If we do that you may have to get a little physical. My powers aren't good here."(sry bout weak post)

She's lost in the darkness, Fading away I'm still around here, Screaming her name She's haunting my dreamworld, Trying to survive My heart is frozen, I'm losing my mind XXXXXXXXXXXXName: Ƞarcissa "Cissa" Ƚucania Team: Ѻmega Location: DR Thinking: Bloody hell.XXXXXXXXXXXX Narcissa took out the enemies that she’d stunned as they slipped into the building that held Kerrigan and Dom—Moving towards another when she realized that Aren had already taken care of it. Moving up the staircase, taking them carefully, considering they creaked and groaned, she held her back to the wall—Golden hair glinting in the dim light. Being shot wasn’t the only thing that could deplete your damage ratio… Falling through the floor could do that as well. Listening to the conversations going across the comm—She smirked at half of it, finding a higher vantage point to watch the rest of her team work. The blond goddess wanted to see what area’s they needed improvement in, and what they didn’t. What better way to assess their natural, or learned skills than an impromptu fire fight. Leave it to Kerrigan to make her job as a leader, simpler, and fun. Shooting things, was always fun. Plaster exploded near her elbow and she jerked away—Rephrasing her last thoughts. Shooting things was fun. Just not so much, being shot at. “Frosty the Snowbitch?”, she mouthed incredulously, not trusting her surroundings enough to turn around and question it. Shaking her head, she decided just to go with it for the time being—And ask questions later. “I guess you could say that…”
“But I’ll never admit it—Least of all to her.” Unless one of the holograms approached her, or shot at her or anyone in her vicinity…She left them be. Simulations like this were a good way for her to unwind… But Narcissa knew how to handle a gun. And though she was FAR more accurate when aiming with her own ability, even at a distance, she could still handle herself. It was the new recruits that she wanted to see in action, and some of her O+ veterans that had been just a little lazy over spring break. Standing to the side of a broken out window, she took a moment to once again, silently appreciate how good Christian was with a gun. For a country hick… He usually seemed to be dead on, once something was in his sights. She could barely stop herself from snickering when Kraken took the high road, excusing his pitiful aim, by pistol whipping the bot in the face…No, watching him fight would never get old. There was a group that seemed to work well with Paladin-- Or at least hadn't dissented into fighting among each other. It was hard to tell actual temperaments from as far away as she was. She watched as they fortified an area, a little surprised to see the boy jumping across rooftops as if they were hurdles on at a track meet. It was impressive, to say the least. Narcissa heard Maddy over the comm, and turned to signal Aren that they ought to go assist when she heard gunfire…Not the sounds of the laser shots that some of the holograms had been using, but it sounded like one of their own. She whirled around, a mass of blond hair and black leather to see Dom shooting Aren point blank. And Aren, of course nailing Dom with return fire. “Oh bloody hell.”, she cursed aloud as they knocked themselves out of the game—Her comm seeming to go insane as the damage ratio’s depleted faster than what normally should have happened. Reflexively, she growled, and threw the first thing she had in her hand at Tiny (Only because he was the closer of the two) – Which happened to be her gun. He seemed to simply fade out of existence as the Danger Room removed him and Dice from the game, and her gun smacked into the wall, having missed him entirely. She didn’t know either of them well enough yet to decide whether this was going to be a reoccurring habit or not… But as it was already done and over with… There was little to be said about it now. There was a strong temptation to box both of their ears when they were through however. The sun goddess did not find it amusing, though it was possible, later on her opinion may change… But for the moment, she was simply annoyed. Forgetting her gun entirely, as it was merely a luxury, not a necessity to her she traveled back down the stairs and cut a clean hole through the wall on the back side of the building. It lead out into the area near Covet and a few others. Walking by a Hologram, her mood evident by the sharp click of her heels on the cement she charged her hand with light and slammed it into his chest as she passed. The Hologram turned to dust, and she kept her brisk pace—Pausing as she felt something strike her in the middle of her back. Her damage ratio dipped very low…Apparently it had been a critical shot. Whirling around to take her revenge, she stopped in mid motion—Seeming to freeze as a familiar voice called for her attention. When Emma decided to use her ability as an evolved form of the comm link or a cell phone…For some reason Narcissa fell still. Not everyone did. Some could still keep functioning as normal… But the sun goddess seemed to space out, even her eyes sight less. When the White Queen finished speaking, Narcissa stared for a moment—Before she was shot again, taking her percentage even lower. That seemed to knock her out of the stupor the woman’s words had left her with… Raising her comm to her lips, she signaled the observation deck… “Stop the simulation!”The world around the Omega’s abruptly faded away leaving them all standing on metal floors, looking at equally metallic walls…There was nothing in the room except each other. Even the guns they’d obtained disappeared. She walked towards the exit, trying to find a way to put into words what Emma had told her… It was such a simple thing. Would have been a simple thing… If it were not regarding one of the most…Traumatic things that had taken place in New York. For years, everyone had spoken of September 11th with reverence and compassion for their fellow Americans, fear and loss… That sentiment had been replaced tenfold, by the name of the mutant that had murdered half the city. Magneto. “The Alpha’s are in trouble…So we’re being sent in to help them, immediately.”, Narcissa breathed out, turning to glance at the others back in the room. Her eyes weren’t quite right… A little more light in them, than there should have been. Some might have thought she ended the session because of the stunt Aren and Dom had pulled…. But that simply wasn’t the case. She sighed for a moment, her hands tightening into fists at her side. “Magneto and the Brotherhood have shown themselves at a political rally. The mall that the Alpha’s arrived at has been taken as one…Giant hostage situation. We leave now, I’ll explain the rest on the way. Stop by the armory, and grab weapons you’re familiar with. You’ve five minutes to meet me in the hangar.” The sun goddess didn’t wait, but continued on—Straight through to the hangar. She was all the weapon, she could ever need. XXXXXXXXXXXXThe X-Jet made excellent time. They’d made liftoff in record time—The cloaking device keeping them hidden from sight. As the saying went, if someone found them on a scanner or otherwise… They deserved to. While in transmit Narcissa explained as much to her team as she could… Especially about the massacre that Magneto had inflicted… And SHIELD’s response to the attack. Genosha, the mutant haven, of which the master of Magnetism had been ruler and chief had been turned into a burial ground. A city of nothing, but the dead. It was still being rebuilt to this day, as were the damages to New York… But for him to appear like this… In public? It left a sour taste in her mouth. Speaking of sour tastes, Scott was accompanying them, as well as Kitty Pryde, Ororo Monroe and Rachel Summers. All of the teachers couldn’t leave the school…That spelled disaster, just in case some enemy thought they were slick and decided to attack during a crisis. So they made due with what they had. The majority of the Omega’s would be going to the political rally where Magneto was last spotted… Where as a few of them would be dropped in at the mall to provide the Alpha’s some back up. “If you’re new—And this is your first mission as an Omega, make sure that you keep your eyes peeled. Keep an eye on everything around you. Our goal is to protect the civilians on site… And if possible, subdue and capture any of the Brotherhood members.”, Narcissa explained, going through the emergency help buttons on their comm links again. Most of them knew the drill…But for those that were from other teams, she repeated herself. “Sidetrack, Digger, and Chameleon.” “You three will be dropped on the roof of the mall-- While there, you'll report to Siren. The lock pick Forge provided should allow you to get in through the roof entrance. Prepare yourselves for a riot, and exceedingly hostile environment. Try to secure the location. Keep me updated with a status.”, she trailed off with a nod of her head, her cold expression seeming to touch her eyes—Giving them a wintry appearance. She was silent for several long moments, before continuing to speak after they dropped off the three mall bound Omega’s. “The report stated that Magneto has a few Brotherhood members with him…He sent Pyro, a fire manipulator, away…Assumingly towards Mystique…Who we can only assume is in the mall. I can’t tell you which he’ll have at his disposal… But even if he were alone… He must be regarded with the utmost apprehension.” When the X-Jet landed on a rooftop not far away from the rally, police sirens permeated the air—Frightened screams echoing through the alleyways. The ground rumbled and shook with a vengeance. Narcissa unhooked herself, exiting after Storm… “Code names only. Save civilians, save each other—But don’t be a hero. The Academy doesn’t need anymore headstones.” Hopefully they could find out what Magneto’s end game was…The longer they waited, the worse things would be. If only Senator Kelly, wasn’t such a stubborn, racist, a**... There might be a chance of talking this situation down... But as Solaris saw it... The good Senator would only make matters worse. Omega, Location: DR/X-Jet Thoughts: End of training day
The charge ended as he took his impromptu shield and smashed it into the digital guard. The guard got slammed back, and quickly dissipated. Though as he went to throw himself into the next opponent the whole simulation ended. Not only did the roof top disappear, but even his makeshift shield went away. He let his armor slither back into his body, he didn't know what was going on but he wasn't going to waste the time he had left with his power up. He hadn't noticed Dom and Aren's little stunt, so he was in the dark entirely.
Narcissa explained the reason for ending the session: the biggest mutant terrorist otherwise known as Magneto had shown up at a political rally, and the local mall had a major hostage situation that the Alphas needed assistance with. That wasn't good, to put it bluntly. She stated that she wanted them at the hangar in 5, which gave him just the time he needed to get a shirt for the flight.
-----------------------
The flight went smoothly, which considering this was the first time he had ever flown he really couldn't say much else about it. Though the seats were comfy enough, granted he did want to make a joke about peanuts. The one thing he kinda wanted on a plane was get a bag of peanuts.
Solaris laid down the situation, giving Sidetrack, Chameleon and one of the new girls, known as Digger orders to meet up and support the Alphas at the mall. which was not a bad idea. Based on Chameleon and Digger's codenames they appeared to be ideal for an assignment where someone like Roland wouldn't, and Sidetrack was a good shot, judging by his work in the simulation, something that would be vital in an enclosed area like that.
"Do you know who we're going up against at the rally? The only one in the Brotherhood I'm aware of is Magneto and his abilities." he asked, directing the question to Solaris, Cyclops, or really any of the older members that were with them. These guys had actual experience dealing with the Brotherhood, and Roland liked to have a good idea of what he was facing. He cracked his neck and stretched a bit as he got himself ready for a fight.

Omega: Danger Room // X-Jet -- There's Always Something " We'll deal with it later," the redhead retorted when Megan asked in Dom and Aren's removal from the simulation was contrary to the plan -- to view the situation seemed to suggest the right answer. While it was only a simulation (and about as close to a game as things normally got for the Omegas), it was still something to take seriously. However, for the moment, Kerrigan was not going to make a bigger deal out if it that it really was. After all, what would be the point in that? If it was something that needed to be dealt with, she'd handle it with Cissa's blessing. The two girls made their way back inside, Kerrigan firing until she door was slammed, Digger getting creative with a way to close the door, slowing the holograms down as best she could. The girl offered an explanation, as if justifying the move, Kerrigan flashing her a smile as the redhead tossed her tressed over her shoulder, giving the girl a nod. " Hey, no need to justify to me. It was good thinking," she said simply, nodding as the girl asked her to go up the stairs first, following behind and tearing at the stairs to make sure that they would not be followed easily. In the back of her mind, Kerrigan hoped they didn't have to go back down -- if there was no other way down from the building and they couldn't make it to a different one, they'd be screwed. Still, she couldn't fault the girl's logic. And without having to worry about their backs, Kerrigan was much more effective on point, training her gun ahead of her every time they rounded a corner. They wouldn't get caught unawares again. The girl seemed jumpy, but trying desperately to hide it, as she rushed to catch up to the more-seasoned Omega, who had not missed the sounds of the strained door behind them. Next thing she knew, however, the simulation was stopped, Kerrigan looking around for their blonde-haired leader as the world around them faded away. She seemed agitated, which the redhead immediately recognized as a bad sign for them all. Her expression remained blank as they were told that the Alphas were in trouble -- while she had nothing against them like some of her other teammates, she wasn't surprised by the news. If anyone had a knack for getting into trouble, it was the two teams that went on more missions than most of the other teams combined. Couple that with news that the Brotherhood was making a public appearance, and Kerrigan was already on high alert. Her steps were immediate as the blonde made her way out of the Danger Room and towards the hangar, glad that they'd already suited up for the simulation -- last time she faced the Brotherhood without her suit, there was much pain involved. Now, it was time to return the favor. ---------- Time Skip ---------- Kerrigan listened from her spot next to her leader, green eyes never wavering from her form as they were given all known information about the situation, past and present. Her hardened expression wavered slightly as the redhead turned her gaze to the floor as the massacre of Genosha was rehashed. It was a terrible tragedy, and while Kerrigan was known for her focus in battle, she was not so cold-hearted as to show no emotion at the suggestion of how many people lost their lives. Thankfully, the attention turned to their plan of action, Kerrigan's eyes flitting to those that would not be accompanying them to the rally, but instead offering what support the Alphas were sure to need at the mall riots. While they were only sparing three of their own, she was confident that it would be enough for the Alphas. Each of the Omegas was worth their weight in gold on the field -- this was a chance for them to show exactly what they were made of in the face of crisis. The three mall-bound Omegas were dropped off on the roof, Kerrigan silently wishing them each all the best wishes she could muster before turning her thoughts to their own upcoming ordeal. While she couldn't be said to have master knowledge of the Brotherhood and it's members, she could sure remember what a pain in the a** they were to take down last time. Chances were, they would only get stronger with time, much like the Omegas themselves. At least they could cross two names off the list that most of them would be all too familiar with. Of course, that left a slew of others they may have to contend with. Roland asked if Narcissa knew who exactly they would be facing from the Brotherhood, Kerrigan shaking her head, causing a few red tendrils to fall into her face. " If we could predict that, we'd have no reason to be nervous. However, as Solaris said, we only know that Pyro and Mystique are elsewhere - unfortunately, that doesn't exactly narrow it down too much. It'll be obvious when we get there -- rest assured, we're known for being good on our feet, and nothing will test that reputation like a braul with Magneto and his toadies. Keep a sharp eye," she spoke to him, trying not to make their enemies sound too tough, but at the same time making sure he, and the rest of the newer Omegas, would know that they were no pushovers. They arrived at a rooftop of a building not too far from where the ruckus was underway, the sound of police sirens and screams greeting their ears. The redhead was quick to unbuckle herself and follow Narcissa and the superior X-Men from the jet, nodding when their leader mentioned that they were only to use codenames once they were off the jet. For Kerri, that was second nature -- she could only hope that the rest of the team was as used to it as she was. Narcissa was right when she said that they did't need to lose anyone else to these kinds of missions.

Daylia Astralloxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Team Omegaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Location: To the Jet then dropped off at the mall. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Boredom was plain on Daylia’s face as she watched the television. She was now regretting not taking the chance to join the simulation. At least that would have been something to do. Well, she could at least go watch it. With a heavy sigh she flipped off the tv and tossed it on the table before mustering the energy to stand. She made her way through the halls and eventually down to the simulation area, though before she made it to the room that over looked everything, there was a call over the coms. Something was wrong in town, something the Alphas had gotten mixed up in, and now they needed back up.
Daylia suited up quickly in her leather before taking off after everyone who was already headed to the jet. Leather had always been easier for her to manipulate with her power verses cotton. She always assumed it was because the leather was actually something’s skin at one point. She shrugged the thought off as she entered the jet along with everyone else. It wasn’t long before takeoff. Narcissa then began breaking things down, catching up those, like Daylia, who had missed things here and there. Magneto was threatening some office officials and had the mall held up, creating himself a wonderful little hostage situation. Daylia nodded along with the boss’s words as everything sunk in.
This was bad, and so much more worse than the Halloween town ordeal, or so Chameleon thought. Daylia locked eyes with Narcissa as she heard her code name being called along with two others. Sidetrack, Digger, and herself were going to be dropped off at the mall to help out the Alphas dealing with the hostage situation. "Of course." Daylia said with a nod as Solaris told them to report to Siren for the time being. That of course was a given for Chameleon, but she found it slightly sad that the Omega leader had to specify that. And of course updates would be done as well, but Daylia didn’t say anything further.
It wasn’t long before the three were dropped off on the mall roof top. A soft sigh escaped Chameleon’s lips as she looked around, watching for anything. How could they be sure that Mystique wouldn’t already have someone up here anyway? Her blue gray eyes narrowed as her fingers gripped the handle of her extendable baton. She had never liked guns, or blades really for that matter, so she simply settled for something she could just swing around with all her force to cause decent damage.
Daylia stopped in her tracks as she saw something blur in front of them. Somehow Daylia had placed herself in front of the other two, forming small v shape. "Please tell me I’m not the only one that saw that." It blurred past them again, though this time it was closer. She flicked her wrist hard, causing the baton to extend in her hand, though before she could put it to good use, something slammed into her chest. The sudden force caused Chameleon to fly back and land on her but.
The figure didn’t stop for long, but it was long enough for Daylia to make out the silver hair. With the speed and few features she caught, she could only assume it was a villain called Quicksilver. So Mystique wasn’t stupid enough to leave the roof unattended. Daylia felt her skin begin to tingle as the change spread through it then through her cloths, creating a seamless match with her background as she climbed back to her feet. This was going to be hell. ""

ȻΩѶɆȾ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☥ Ωrchid Ⱥutumn Ωmegas Location: Danger room / Rally Thoughts: Perhaps this is my chance… ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☥ The X-woman known as Covet could not help but smirk at Narcissa’s response to her pointing out the general lack of imagination among the group’s male members. She gave the blond a mock expression of incredulity, even going as far back placing her hand over her chest as if to guard her heart. ”Men thinking? I’d not thought it possible!” While she didn’t particularly fancy men, she was by no means a sexist feminazi, though the boys of this group did not need to know that. If anything her words would provide a future bonding point for her with the other females. Nothing brought people together better than humor.
For the moment, Orchid found herself pinned behind the thick pillar. Unfortunately, several of the armed guards had seen her move, and had begun moving in her general direction. Perhaps choosing this particular item for cover was not her brightest moment, but she chalked it up to inexperience and let it go; she had much more important things to worry about. C’est la vie. She took a few deep breaths, trying to think of a way to get out of her current mess without letting her health gauge drop even a single point. The Latina was nothing if not a perfectionist, and she wanted to make an impression. She needed to get close to the leadership, needed them to trust her.
It was then that her thoughts were interrupted by some closer gunfire nearby. She peeked her head out just a smidge to see just what was going on, seeing one of the men drop and disappear into whatever manner of digital code the simulator was dreaming up. Here I expected a little more carnage. She saw the men turn their attentions toward one of the rooftops. Following the direction of their guns, she saw nothing at first, but then noticed a woman reveal herself wielding a bow with what appeared to be some kind of hard light. She had to admit to herself, that was pretty cool. She smiled wickedly as she saw several of the men fall, though not all of them. There were still four left.
With their attention still fixed upon the rooftop, even with the girl having disappeared a few moments later, Orchid acted as quickly as her mind typically worked. She ran out from behind the pillar and dropped the two guns she held with her red and black locks of hair. As soon as she got close, her hair grew to a mess of flowing locks, appearing rather ethereal as they floated in the air, seemingly suspend by a slew of invisible strings. She quickly whipped her head back clockwise, the many locks lashing around her in a circular motion. The hair split to four different thick tendrils, each of them wrapping around the soldiers’ necks from behind. She squeezed as hard as she could, struggling to keep them motionless. Without another thought she lifted her two remaining guns and fired several bullets into each of the guards’ heads. If anything, she would at the very least get style points.
In her excitement she hadn’t noticed Dom’s and Aren’s stupidity, though she would have loved to have made a comment, most likely about how right she was that men were apparently brainless apes. She jumped back to duck behind a truck as some enemy fire came in her direction, one bolt of light just barely grazing her abdomen. But before she could even let the pain register the simulation had suddenly stopped, her surroundings reverting back to the lifeless metallic walls of the danger room that almost reminded the girl of a hospital. At Narcissa’s first comment, she could not help but smirk and let out a comment. ”That didn’t take long at all, did it?”The next bit of news was a bit of a shocker, though. Apparently Magneto had returned and was making his presence known at a political rally, no doubt addressing/backing up all the recent anti-mutant propaganda that had been spread widely in recent weeks. It was about damn time someone did something about it. Still, it was too bad they would have to stop them; were it up to Orchid those politicians would be nothing more than a memory in moments.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
While in the X-Jet, Narcissa took time to address everything, namely catching up those not in the know. It was like a dream, hearing that Magneto was still around. For a long time after she’d discovered her power, she’d idolized Magneto for his stance. Humans were supposed to be cattle to the mutants, slaves to their will. Instead mutants decided to hide or conform. For a long time she’d wanted to join the Brotherhood… but she did not know that Magneto was even alive. Instead she’d opted to join Academy X, in hopes of gaining full mastery of her powers, so she can make her own name as a shining knight for mutant supremacy one day. But could she change those plans today, and betray her team before she even got to know them?
As the plane let off three of their membership, she looked around and spotted Psyche. She nodded in the girl’s direction and offering a a sincere smile. ”I never got the chance to thank you for bailing me out back there. So, thank you,” She was, of course, referring to the simulation. ”I owe you one.”Her attention snapped back toward Narcissa as she continued to explain the situation. She nodded along as the blond spoke, following her words intently. After she was done, Paladin asked his own follow up question, prompting Knoxx to respond in kind. It was then that Covet decided to inject some humor into the situation. ”All I know is if Scarlet Witch is there I’m so getting her number.”
As the X-Jet landed on a rooftop and Covet left her seat to join the exiting Omegas, she was greeted by hundreds of deafening sirens in the air, and many many more terrified screams. She nodded as Narcissa once again addressed them, making sure the newer members like herself knew to refer to each other only by code names. It was time to get to work, though Orchid had to question whether her or not her alignment would change before the day was through.((OOC: Sorry it took me so long to respond. Let me know if I screwed up.)) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☥ Daylight devours your unguarded hours...xxx.. Burnt and charred, this bride of scars...xxxxxx. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ Test Thread A plan quickly culminated in his mind, distraction first, things falling from above and then a full launch of his BB's. It'd take a lot of effort to coordinate it, maintaining certain fields and timing them properly. Eli looked to his hand, it was trembling, shaking. He was nervous, as this was his first field mission, and right now it was him vs an experienced mutant. He kept stalling in his head, in hopes that back up would arrive, but unfortunately all he had was the luck that had been given by Aurelie and Alex.
'It looks like I'll have to start on my own...' He thought in a negative manner. On the opposite side of Pyro he launched a trashcan into the air. Hoping it wouldn't grab Pyro's attention, which, with his focus on burning everything in sight, turned Eli's hopes into a reality. Next, the magnetokinetic searched for something heavy, something to fling at Pyro, he had a couple of seconds before the trashcan hit the ground and his distraction would be gone. 'C'mon, C'mcon,' He thought frantically. Where was something heavy.
Grabbing onto mended iron around a seating bench, Eli ripped it from the ground, iron, bench and whatever chunks of the ground was still attached to the bolts and flung it at Pyro. Unfortunately for Eli, the screeching from the bench being torn from the ground grabbed the pyrokinetic's attention and he turned to face the bench flying at him, preventing a clear shot at the pack on his back. The bench slammed into Pyro knocking him back, and a split second later, the trashcan landing on the ground. Some effective distraction that was. Eli had panicked, and not thought the timing through. The pyrokinetic getting up, swiveling his head, looking for the assailant. With a short temperment, flames began to engulf the area and Eli had to do something, standing up from behind his cover, the ten BBs he had in his hand raised slightly they floated there, and Pyro looked someone confused. ”So, we've got another one of you, but, you just don't seem to be very in control of your powers. The pyrokinetic taunted about Eli's power's being that of magneto's, and he motioned his hands slightly, and the fires danced to his whim in the direction of Eli. Pyro, letting out a maniacle laugh. Eli pulled his hand back and pushed forward, the BBs fired forward, cracks echoing through out the mall. The flames dispersed as Pyro was knocked back and a feeling of accomplishment started flowing thorugh Eli, until it was shattered with Pyro getting up. The pyrokinetic held his hand as he stood, blood ran from it, one of the BBs lodged in his hand, Eli didn't know what to do now, panick starting to get to him, panick and adrenaline, an insane combination, a feeling of elevated thought and unfortunately, rushed thought as well. It could be a lethal and yet self destructing mix at the same time. And right now. Eli was out of ideas. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ And On that day they'll tell you, That life hung on with no clue OOC ↠ Post approved by AR

Omega - DR to Mall - Bailing out the Alphas? Just another day on the job.
Christian sat with his back to the wall, nodding in Roland’s direction the moment his apology was shrugged off. He was given a brief rundown of their situation as he sat there collecting his thoughts, but was hesitant to offer his opinion. Before he could say a word regarding a plan of action, Maddy’s voice filtered through their comm requesting assistance. Assistance that Roland was more than eager to provide. Judging now that the time was right, Christian pushed himself off the floor and let his rifle fall into his hands. He knew full well that the adjacent building was swarming with guards… and Omegas now; all that was left to do was to get a scout street level. That was something he was more than willing and able to do himself.
His plans were halted though when Jacen came bounding through a window into the second floor room. Christian was not outright startled, but did offer a small apology for training his rifle’s sights on his teammate. “Lovin’ the game,” Christian said, letting the gun barrel fall towards the ground, “But you do realize that the doors are standin’ wide open.” He didn’t forget his initial plan but had a feeling that if Kraken was coming in the building in that manner, then the downstairs would be swarming with enemies in an extremely short amount of time. “Spose we’ve got no choice. Lock and…”
Christian’s sentence was cut off when the simulation died right then and there. Noticing he didn’t have his rifle in hand anymore, he folded his arms across his chest, listening to what Cissa had to say. The Alphas were in trouble, no surprise there. Conversely though, Magneto and the Brotherhood had shown up, sticking their necks into the general public’s proverbial woods. Christian had no idea who or what they were, honestly, but when the order to saddle up on the jet in five minutes were given, he didn’t hesitate to follow.
**
He had no time to feel uneasy about being on the jet or flying for that matter. Between securing his weapon (a nice .44 caliber Desert Eagle) in its holster that hung off his shoulder, throwing his long coat on to conceal said weapon, and getting a very brief history lesson on the Brotherhood, Christian was quite preoccupied with things. Then, he was given the order to assist the Alphas with both Chameleon and Digger. Just before they were deposited onto the mall’s roof, Christian took the lockpick that Cissa told them about from her hand and offered a mock salute. He didn’t say a word as he jumped down to the rooftop, let the lockpick slide easily into a random coat pocket and heard their transport fly away towards its next destination. Almost immediately, he set to trying to find the proper frequency in which to contact the Alphas; they were to be under Siren’s command after all.
“Dammit,” he muttered as he heard nothing but static and squelching while messing with his comm. He was about to give up when he heard Chameleon say something. “What?,” Christian said back to his teammate, “I didn’t see nothin’.” The moment he saw that, he saw Chameleon get knocked back onto her butt. While she pulled herself to her feet, he felt a stiff breeze rush by him from out of nowhere. Just as he turned to try and gauge the direction the wind came from, he felt a hard punch hit him on the opposite side of his face, knocking him for a small loop. Stumbling over, Christian was honestly fearing falling over the side of the roof, a fear that was compounded when he felt two more punches hit him hard on the jaw, sending him ever so closer…
Christian didn’t know how much time or space he had before he wound up being street pizza, which caused him to draw his gun from the holster and fire two shots high into the air. Now that he had a small amount of time to regain his bearings, he felt a pain on the right side of his jaw and knew there was going to be some bruising. That was when he heard a scream and felt another burst of wind rush by him in a flash.
“Not cool having a gun. I’m unarmed.” Quicksilver had made his presence visible and known for the time being. “So I took this fetching young woman for insurance.”
Christian didn’t hesitate to train his gun’s sights on Quicksilver, even with the hostage right in plain sight. Of course, he knew he couldn’t take a shot at all but he also knew he couldn’t let his opponent know that either. “Yea. It’s about as uncool as you ambushin’ us,” Christian replied. “Let the woman go.” When the Omega’s gunman said that, he watched as Quicksilver’s fingers began to claw around the woman’s throat, threatening to asphyxiate the lass. Naturally, Christian’s eyes narrowed momentarily; he wanted nothing more to just shoot the guy in the leg if anything to keep him from running around. But he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. A small growl of discontent rumbled from his throat as he lowered his aim and signaled for both Digger and Chameleon to stand down.
Pietro laughed loudly before smiling wickedly at the trio of Omega reinforcements. “Have fun in there!” With that, the Brotherhood’s resident jackass and hostage were gone. Though he was faster than all get out, Christian’s eyes tried to follow the direction he thought he saw the blur head towards and realized it was the same direction the Omegas had gone in after dropping the three off at the mall. Going back to his comm, he fired up a direct line to his team’s leader and spoke up clearly and concisely. “Solaris. Reason to believe Quicksilver is heading your direction and he does have a hostage. Repeat. He has a hostage.”
Dropping that link and immediately resuming the search he started when they first hit the roofs, Christian tried to again find the Alpha’s frequency. This time, the search was more successful when he heard random chatter and noises piping through his own device. Screams, shouts, and the sounds of generalized chaos could be heard; someone’s comm was on loud and clear and wherever they were seemed to be in the epicenter of all the shenanigans. Immediately, Christian shut off his comm and looked at both his squadmates. “We need to move. Now.” Not a beat was missed as he strode to the locked access door and produce the device that Forge had made for them. Only a few moments were wasted as the device did its job and they were allowed entry. The problem with that was, it seemed they were willingly going to be walking into Hell… at least Hell on Earth. Motioning for the ladies to follow behind him, Christian led the way down the stairs.
Getting to the doors that led to their destination didn’t take much time, though he had time enough to swap clips out of his gun while he traipsed down the stairs… just to be safe. While he leaned against the doors, he could hear the sounds of terror and riots coming through the thick metal double doors. It sounded like nothing he could imagine, not even anything he could recall from the mission to Limbo… and that unnerved him slightly. Before pushing through, he turned his head to speak to both Daylia and Megan again. “When we get in, assimilate into the Alphas. Remember, we’re under Siren’s command.” Pulling the slide back on his handgun, he let a round slip into the chamber before pushing the doors open just enough to let the three slide in hopefully undetected.
After slipping inside and finding a bit of cover to duck behind, Christian was able to allow himself to feel a tad overwhelmed and astounded at the sights before him. The crowds of people, now scattering and trampling a few unfortunate souls in the way, were trying to get away from something. He wanted to press forwards, into the crowd, but an immense heat from overhead stopped him from moving. Trying to get closer to the ground, Christian turned his head and saw a massive dragon made of flame flying overhead through the haze and smoke that was filling the room. Throughout all the chaos, he was trying to get a good handle on the situation. None of the Alphas could be seen through the crowds… that was until he saw a small opening in the crowd near the fountains.
Judging by the way the people were squared off and whom they were squaring off against, Christian could only imagine that some of the people in that direction were indeed Alphas. To his dismay, the only way he could really tell who they were was when he saw both Gideon and Leo in the midst of the crowds… and Leo was someone he could barely recognize being that the one time they met was in Halloweentown. Seeing all those gathered, but not seeing anything of Siren at all made him want to move closer, made him want to inspect the scene a tiny bit further.
With the crowds moving the way they were, Christian didn’t need to creep or crouch to advance onto the Alpha’s position. But he did wish to get closer to further assess the situation. When he was about twenty feet away from the main fracas, he did finally catch a glimpse of Siren… being held at gunpoint by some strange blue-skinned woman. There was no mistaking it was a gun, just by the way the fire’s reflection danced off the cool metal of the piece, and that made it all the more imperative for Christian to get his a** into gear.
Now again, creeping closer to the edge, he was about five feet away from where he thought he needed to be. Before he decided to get to his feet, he put his back against a very tiny piece of cover and watched things momentarily. He kept his peripheral vision trained on Mystique, waiting for her to slip up… or for an opening to get in even closer. The wait killed him and while he did so, he hoped that both Chameleon and Digger were able to join up with some of the Alphas themselves. He didn’t really want them following him or doing what it was he was about to. But, he knew that if an opponent had a weapon, he would do his best to level the playing field in that regard. The wait grew longer and longer until Christian thought he heard some gunshots going off (not gunshots, but Eli’s BBs), which gave him all the incentive in the world to move.
Using the noise as cover, Christian stood to his feet and closed the distance between himself, Mystique, and Siren. With his gun in hand, he firmly pressed the barrel at the back of the blue-skinned woman’s head, roughly around the area of the cerebellum. “Dunno who the Hell you are, but call off your goons and let Siren go,” Christian said sternly. “If ya don’t, I’ll ventilate your skull.”
