"Heh," Was all she said as she rejected his hand shake, forming a fist with her hand instead and giving his extended hand a gentle bump; a sad bro fist-to-hand, but it seemed like a fitting end. She refused to get up from the couch, choosing to watch from where she was. When Gamma Seven vanished into the darkness on the other side of the door, she muttered a soft 'good luck'. Under her gas mask, it wasn't audible at all, but it was the thought that counts, right?
"You going too?" She looked up at Gamma Two after what seemed like a long pause, but she was trying her best not to allow her weakness - her possibly girly, sentimental side - from shining through, "Or do you still gave unfinished business on this side of the door?"

Opening his eyes again when he heard bVII's voice, yII looked over towards her, taking some time before answering. No, he didn't have any unfinished business. Perhaps that was why the lure of the door was growing. His apprehension and fear was still there, but that had seemed to tone down some.
"Yeah... I think so," he said quietly, "I can try to push it off as long as I want but it's not going to make that much of a difference."
Staring at the door again, he was silent once more. He hadn't taken any other steps just yet, but it was obvious he was seriously considering that his time was just about up.

Sephiros Immortalis "Oh, you know..." He murmured, A-Three now coaxing the other into a turn, letting go with one hand and guiding the other in a spin, just far enough away that their bodies brushed with no real friction. A shame that silks and satins...instead of these awkward suits, weren't the clothing of the hour. His movements were careful, and he brought the smaller male back to face him, regaining their original pose, and Three fell seamlessly back into step. Somewhere in the back, he heard Z4 and his rousing performance, as yet another said goodbye....pausing for but half a moment, he gave a bit of a salute, before returning to the matters at hand, picking the dance back up as though he'd never left it.
"Trying to get yourself killed, meeting a fellow, spend three days getting yourself attached...dinner, dancing and a spot of wine?" It was Three's dry humor, and one could almost see the way that his quiet teasing danced in his eyes, even through that mask, something conveyed through sound, the man's voice seeming a living thing in and of itself, touchable. Yes, indeed...death seemed so far away, when one had friends to share the evening with. Hell, if it even was evening...it might be the breaking daylight in the real world, beyond this limbo...but here, it could be an eternal evening. Dancers, singers...they had brought this place the life it lacked.
Heh. That he would be such a one, it seemed such a nonsensical thought. The boy followed along the best he could, letting Three lead. He tried not to get too wrapped up in it. Not too deep into the passion of dancing. Three was just adhering to his fun. Nothing more then that and he couldn't let himself think otherwise. He was pulled out of his thoughts by Zeta Four's rather appropriate song. A rather catchy one at that! It didn't stop the immense jealousy when Zeta Four found the sudden need to dance with his partner. The mask protected the pair from his scowl but just as quickly as he'd pulled Alpha Three from him, the man was returned with grace. Zeta Five took a moment to watch Zeta Four disappear into the unknown before looking up at Three, trying to as gracefully fall back into step. "I wish I knew...but it has all happened very naturally. Of course if you're inviting me out to dinner and wine, I wouldn't oppose. Though I suppose we'd have to be able to eat and drink, wouldn't we?

Orestae The glass stopped spinning beneath her fingertips, and that was all there was. Gamma Three watched as Alpha Seven sang, and her smile was sad and stoic. She did not feel remorse. She did not feel anger. She simply did not feel at all, all of her rage and hate and delusion washed away by the task that awaited her. She stood, and went to join the man who stood by that door. She looked up at him; he towered over her by well over a foot. “Are we ready to go, then?” Behind him, he heard G3 challenge him with her own strength, and when he turned to look down at the Gamma, it was he who felt small. She was ready to take her turn through that door, and see what was ahead of her. Even the lunatic who'd been spouting nonsense was being more mature about this than he was. What a trip. He picked G3 up in both arms, and lifted her off the ground. Her helmet was now a few inches above him, so he could look up to her properly the way he felt she deserved right now. He hefted her once, before laying in on a demanding hug. "No." He whispered in a laugh, knocking the side of his helmet against hers. "But I guess that don't matter much, do it?" Slowly he let her down, until she was on her feet once more. His hand grabbed her helmet, and pushed her head into his chest. "God I hope I knew you." His words broke in his throat, and he knew he was getting too sentimental for his own good. He let her go, patting her on the back. With a manly throat clearing, he moved aside. "Yeah. Well. Right then. Off you go."

She smiled, because that's all there was left to do. There could have been words, hugs, maybe even tears. But something in Gamma Three felt as though crying was something shameful and wrong. She didn't know why, but it simply was not the time. It was not the place. She felt Alpha Seven's arms around her, and she kicked her heels back for a moment as he lifted her off the floor. A small laugh escaped her throat, smaller than the woman who made it. That was all, before she vanished into the darkness of the door, and the memories of the life that came before it.((Gamma Harry Three Potter exiting to death~))

(Gamma Eleven entering from the Test)
He was so nervous, so shocked, and so when he found himself in the Lounge, Gamma Eleven looked around, his eyes nervous. Was he dead? Well... had to be. Eleven simply noticed people that he'd seen about before, who..there were a lot of them weren't there? He noticed the door, and though he felt a pull to it, he still had to come to grasps with what had happened to him. Oh god....Eta XII! Was she okay? She was probably getting wailed on by those jerks in that dingy gym. Why did he have to die....Why? It made his heart ache...
Well...heartache or not, he looked around. Was he in a lounge? A ******** LOUNGE?! So death was a lounge. Death was some sort of lounge parlor thing. And he was now stuck here with people he didn't know. Wrapping a hand around his upper arm, he took a slow breath, and walked over to sit in a corner. The corner was the easiest place for him to stand, and watch....Just...watch. He didn't know how to interact just yet. Gamma Eleven didn't know what the hell he was supposed to say or do. Things were still coming to terms within his mind.

Watching those he knew (briefly, so briefly, but then again, that time encompassed what was currently his entire life) walk through that door, the Doctor turned back to the piano. Keying idly at first, but soon he found a song at his fingertips. Not bothering to sing, he just played softly in the background. The door was ever present in the corner of his eye, a thing that could never be unseen. The end of possibility and second chances. Not only did it represent death but... the past as well. The linear path already taken. Glancing away, the Doctor played on.

"Then go," She was never one for sugar coating her words anyway, and she wasn't going to start, "If there's nothing for you here anymore, walk through that door and face your past. Its not like the rest of us are going to hang around for much longer either."
She looked at the Beta X seated beside her before looking up at Gamma 2, "I would offer to walk this last leg of the journey with you, seeing how we died at around the same time, but heh... I want to confirm something." Or rather, the survival of certain people. Still, she raised a fist in his direction, tilting her head, "Here, you deserve one too, old surfer dude."

A7 waited until the very moment he could no longer see her, before finally turning away from that door. Are we ready, she had said. We.
He hadn't been ready, and off she went, on her own adventure. Leaving him just as scared and lost as ever.
He heard the gentle, heartbreaking sounds of the piano behind him, and everything felt just a little sadder, a little quieter. Everything was ending.
This. Everything here, everyone, was at their end. It wasn't like they were at a funeral, mourning the passing of one friend.
It was all of them at once.
A7 wasn't ready. He absolutely, completely, wasn't ready. The piano swelled even as his mind was made up, and he headed towards it. He leaned against it, letting the vibrations of the piano thrum through his body.
Just a little more, his mind soothed. Just a little longer. You can afford to be selfish now, at the end.

Nodding to Beta Seven, yII smiled faintly from beneath his mask.
"Not a problem," he said before looking down at her fist. After a moment of staring at it, he brought up his own to lightly pound against hers, "Take care, alright? It's... It's been an honor."
Despite the little annoyances of being called an old man all the time, he really didn't mind having her around. He might not have always agreed with her views, but she always did have a valid point in what she said. He closed his eyes briefly again as he prepared himself. Slowly he opened them and he made his way over towards the door where he paused just before the threshold. Gamma Two placed a hand at the door frame, holding onto it as he stared into the darkness.
Everything about who he was just needed one more step. Did he have a family? Friends? He'd find out soon enough, but if he didn't have those things.. he would be able to take some solace that he was able to make some valuable allies during his short time on the island, even without a real name or face. Even through the pure chaos of everything that went down... all the death and bloodshed, there was still something good to be had.
Taking a few deep breaths, the fear that had crept into his heart vanished. He wasn't afraid. And as long as he had those memories of the good times of the people around him... he wouldn't truly be alone.
"This is it.." he uttered to himself quietly.
Releasing the door frame, he moved forth, vanishing into the darkness without a trace.

The song... the song triggered a faint thrill of memory. Of knowledge. A-Two found herself humming along, very quietly, barely audible under the mask. Slowly, she peeled herself off the couch and padded over to the piano too, standing a little awkwardly next to A-Seven.
"U-Um. You..." She paused, then sighed. "You think we'll, like... come out okay? In the end?"

A7's lips had already begun to form the word no, before looking down at A2 and holding his breath. It wouldn't be right, projecting his own fears onto her. He reached over, and brought one arm around her shoulder.
"Course it will." A more subdued attempt at his lighthearted voice murmured out. "You're gonna go through that door, and you're gonna find you you're the most beautiful, smartest, most loved young lady anyone's ever known. Men fell at your feet. Didn't you know? You broke hearts left and right, you did. Maybe you broke mine one day. Wouldn't that be funny?" He laughed noncommittally. "Maybe."
His voice died off at his last word, and his head turned to one side. Summoning the tiny bits of courage he had left to act upon, he turned back to her and gave her a squeeze.
"Yeah. We'll come out okay in the end." He lied.

"I... I don't know if I, like. Want to find out. I bet I was, like, a terrible person." Her voice dropped low, barely audible over the song. "I mean, like, I got sent here? Maybe it's only, like. Bad people. Who come here."

His grip on the girl tightened. It was as if she'd read him, his very fear, despite how well he'd managed to hide it. A7 was worried for the same, exact reason - and it was that reason that kept him from walking through that door.
"We signed up for this." His voice was a little more high pitched than usual, as he tried to convince himself more than anyone else. "Maybe we just. I mean. It doesn't mean we're bad. Maybe we just.. didn't like the world. You know? Maybe we were so good, so amazing.."
His heart was clearly not in it. Deep down, he was just as scared that he was some kind of horrible person. He hadn't even blinked at the idea of killing someone. What did that mean?
Tilting his head down to A2, he quirked a little half-smile that she would never see. "But you. You're a peach. You couldn't be a bad person if you tried. You have nothing to worry about. Trust me. I'm always right."

"I guess, like. There's no way to, like.. to know. So worrying about it is dumb." She smiled faintly under the mask, one hand reflexively going up to her helmet where the phoenix mark had been made.
Then she turned her head to glance at the door, just for a moment. "It looks, like... lonely...."
