I think we need to plan introductions better, it will get pretty stupid and generic if they all just meet each other on random occasions or walk alone into town without any reasoning. You still wanted to introduce Allison first right? What if she crashes and explores around, finds a map but then discovers how some of the streets are out or something? Maybe she doesn't see the monsters at first like when Harry chased Cheryl around at first, but has that weird dream sequence kind of thing? Sort of simple though I guess... Or maybe rethink how this all occurred, was Allison ever planning to go to Silent Hill? How did Jake know she was there originally? What if they are traveling together or something? Just trying to brainstorm a few ideas here...

What you mentioned is all well and good. But it has no substance. If my character goes into Silent Hill, then I will be placing her into it. That's perfectly fine. But what is the defining line? What is happening in Silent Hill that would cause all our characters to suddenly be drawn into it after so long? Is Alessa Acting up? Is it the Order that is trying to once again birth their God?
What is the defining line? You have to set the storyline love. You have to set the background for the characters. You set it up, and we are the ones who find a way to place our character in the story.

I won't reveal everything yet, we are still about 60% on what we were planning to go ahead with. A s specific as possible: Alessa and The Order are at odds....both want people into the town for their own reasons, in some ways, it has created a Chess game. Heather and Ian's family are an example of chess pieces so-to-speak because of what The Order wants to do to them, they aren't the only chess pieces, I'm just trying to explain...Alessa needs someone like Harry to stop The Order...if either side gets a checkmate in some way...it will be basically over...Does that kind of give you an idea of what we were discussing?

Where does that leave our characters? No, that is not what I said, I used them as an example above to sort of express the plot, we don't have this 100% plotted out yet though. Every Character basically is the focus of a chess game between the Order, and Alessa. Your character might be wanted by the Order but summoned by Alessa maybe to assist Harry and the Others? But Alessa's actions and the actions of the Order work half way for them and half way against them. I can't quite express what I'm trying to say, I'm trying to suggest a struggle between the two forces. Not many people have stated that The Order want their characters' blood for the ritual to perfect the God, or state that their character has the potential to be sacrificed like Alessa. Until then, I can't decide how the Order react when seeing them as a normal character except that The Order doesn't likely want them there, and will try to keep them out. I'm not trying to half-@$$ this, like I've said, we haven't come up with 100% yet, anyways, my major point is that all our characters are sort of on either side of the spectrum.

Meditatus Sanctum Mien I wanted to apologize for my short post and long period to respond, but I just got done with a fairly elaborate profile for a Negima Roleplay Guild I'm in. No trouble, it was still good. Hmmm....should we continue in the town for a while, or get to Silent Hill already?
