Mizuki was surprised that Pyry had put his arm around her hip. It had only been holding hands and maybe a little kiss or two up until that moment. They didn't do something like this or anything close to a full make out session. Mizuki smiled. At the moment she was happy compared to the little worry she had a moment ago. Pyry was warming up to her. "Here." She said letting Pyry take the independent woman's bags. "So Pyry you know your hand is around my waist?" She asked wondering if it was just an accident.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Taking the bags, he lets that arm fall back to its position on the opposite side of him. His smile faded slightly and he turned near pink at her comment. "W-well your hand was full... a-and the other is in a sling." he explained, becoming nervous all of a sudden. Was he not supposed to touch her like that? He hadn't thought he was doing anything wrong, but maybe he was being too forward. "Sh-should I retract it?" he asks, his hand now hovering an inch from her waist. If his hand was in an inappropriate place, he would move it immediately; he had only been trying to comfort her by the contact, but if he was going about it the wrong way, he would stop.

Mizuki giggled. Someone need romantic lesions from their best friend. Pyry didn't seem to know what the under tone meaning of what holding a girls waist meant to the world at large. It was rather cute that he was doing it to her with her arm all busted up. "Well thank you for taking my bags but I'll take them back if you don't put your hand back on my waist. I think it's romantic of you for putting there." The woman answered giving a kiss on her boyfriends cheek to show him that she approved of his touch. She then used her free arm to place Pyry's hand against her waist.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Relieved that he in fact was not doing anything wrong, he held the bags just out of her reach just in case. His cheeks reddened slightly at her kiss, though he smiled faintly at the gesture. His hand, now pressed back into place by her free one, relaxed in its designated place. They were moving further and further away from the main area while drawing nearer to the doors they had entered only a few hours before. Releasing her waist as they approached the door, it was only so that he could hold exit open for her. Gesturing for her to go through ahead of him, he smiles faintly at her, as if to ask if this was a suitable excuse to let her waist go. They had a short walk ahead of them to the Hot Springs, and should it be alright, he would return his arm to where it had been moments before.

Kurai's other self had made made it to a store that look like it was full of cloths for cosplay but not made up of the weird cheap fabric that you find in a halloween store so she went in to look around. She doesn't see anyone around but she goes in anyways because she wanted to see what was in the store. She figured that she would try to find something that way they would have a little bit more to wear being that they still didn't have that much money for stuff anyways, and the always like to mess with kurai in any way possible. Kurai knows it is all in fun so he just goes a long with it just to make her feel better. Eventually she gets bored and starts to wonder around the mall again I wonder where everyone is this place seems a little empty

Vera looked around with wide eyes, unconsciously getting a touch closer to Baihu. So many people, in so much space! Sure, the half-elf had occasionally made it into town, but it was more for groceries and the like. She hadn't ever really entered the mall. Even living at Reed's for five years, Vera never laid step inside the large building. She preferred quieter places, often feeling overwhelmed with the culture shock she still experienced, so different from Vera's old home of caves and the musty reassuring scent of incense-like dragon musk.
Playing with the charm with Baihu's name in Chinese at her throat, taking some quiet solace in the sight of the delicately-cared jade ring he gave her as a sign of engagement, Vera was quiet and subdued even as her eyes flicked animatedly around. But it was less in interest, more uneasy, like a trapped animal unsure where attack was coming from next. Holding onto Baihu's arm on one side, Vera gave the overly-ecstatic Mai a slightly doubtful look at the older...yet, younger...girl/woman went on and on in her bubbly way about shopping and clothes. Vera just sighed; even among dragons, who adored beauty and art, she had never been ALL that interested in clothes. Gems, sure...but clothes? Not really. It was a new environment, she was tense...and Greator and Ryuu had to stay home. It would perhaps be the first time in almost her whole LIFE, since meeting them anyways, that Vera was without her two companions. It was so strange, everything new...and so unsettling. It didn't help the half-elf was stressed about being a good wife, and fair to Baihu back, pay him close to if not the same or more attention as he gave her.

"Everyone came to find you a dress." Mai informed her soon to be mother. "Fu, Jun, and I will help you find a dress and Chen and Xuan are going to help papa find a tux." The girl added so that way the woman would know where she was going and that her soon-to-be husband was not going to be with her. "No peeking Papa." Mai warned the man. The group finally made it to the bridal store. Waiting at the front was the children that would soon find Vera as their mother. Mai torn Vera away from her father. "Come on. We'll make you the prettiest bride in the whole world." The girl told the woman who was nearly the same age as her. Mai dragged the woman to the dress section as Baihu was pulled towards the tuxs.

Widening her lightly blue-tinged silver eyes just slightly, Vera also raised her brows at Mai as they were all bustled into the store. Feeling like livestock, Vera sighed and gently took her hand back from Mai, giving the other female a small apologetic smile so as to show the half-elf had meant no offense. A mother...to children all older than me. Did that ever happen with the dragons, I wonder...? Vera mused.
Thoughts interrupted by Mai's insistent tugging on her arm, Vera made her graceful way...almost seeming to dance though she just walked...after the exuberant Mai. Nodding at Fu and Jun in recognition, Vera let herself be measured and dressed, paraded in many different kinds of dresses. Vera had had her own idea of something to wear, a mix between the two styles, and aware she didn't make the best impression on the two older children of Baihu's brood Vera wanted to talk to the tailor in private. Maybe tell Mai, but Vera wasn't sure she could keep a secret... Screw it Vera thought, gesturing for Mai to join her with the latest batch of dresses over her and the dresser's arms, and gave them her idea. The dresser seemed doubtful, but Vera insisted, staying firm and resolute on the idea. Here was the warrior, the hard-core survivor, never mind the shy wall flower Vera usually came off as, gentle elf meeting vibrant dragon. Azure, a Dragon Guardian of Asia.
Aware her sense of style would be questioned, and the others may feel her an embarrassment, Vera was careful to ask for Mai's opinion, and leave it up to the girl whether to tell the other two, when they all came back out from the intense....but quiet....discussion.

Mai smiled at Vera as she returned from talking with the tailor. She had a twinkle in her eye. It was the kind of twinkle that said that she knew something. "Vera do you have a dress in mind?" the girl asked. She didn't really want to put her future mother's dreams on the back seat. "She's better off picking something like this." Fu commented as she held up a picture of a modern wedding dress. She really didn't think that she would pick something traditional at all. Jun smiled gently. "Please don't mind my sisters. Please pick something you want. That is what will make papa happy." The boy commented to her.

Vera looked between the children as they spoke, feeling like she'd be in a costume like those next door. Sighing, Vera absently shook her head, but not necessarily in negation, although she did send Jun a thankful smile. Sure, modern dresses were nice, and Baihu was willing to pay...but Vera didn't want to go through the special tailoring that would be required for her slender frame and long legs. She just didn't want to go to so much trouble. However, having had a conversation with Baihu she knew he wanted to see her in "lolita"....but Vera also wanted to be traditional, show her appreciation for Baihu's heritage. How to mix it all together? "If I had to, I could...but I actually want to try..." Vera explained her idea to the other two, omitting the exact details, just that she had the idea of making it by hand, mixing multiple cultures. "We can still look for a dress here...as a sort of contingency plan, I guess...but I really want to try this." Vera's eyes were almost hard, her tone firm and decisive - she had a will and backbone after all.

Once Vera had told the kids what she wanted Fu was of course the first to open her mouth. "No. I disapprove." The woman responded. It was clear that she wanted something that was traditional in a western sense. Jun had a look on his face that suggest that he wasn't sure about this idea. "Well if you do it right...." He said as he became quiet. "Just be sure not to make dad look like a *****." He finished his train of thought. Mai smiled at Vera. "I like the idea." She told her step-mother to be. "I guess Jun is right a little. So we could get a slightly longer skirt and maybe a Chinese style top. Fu can sew." Mai told the woman what she thought about the her idea. She was quick to come with some alternative ideas that would still work with the woman.

Recovering quickly from such STRONG and quick negation, Vera looked like she'd just been slapped for a moment. Sure, it was different, but the half-elf had thought that the others might realize she was trying to be diplomatic. Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes, Vera held that for a moment as the others spoke, opening her darkened eyes to stare hard at Fu, even lowering her head like to charge - stubborn, the half-elf was determined to stand her ground. "I have no intention of embarrassing or accommodating my fiancee. That's why we're going through with this whole monkey business," Vera started, voice firming. Vera's eyes turned to Mai, paying the other girl attention as she spoke, although the half-elf still seemed eerily unlike her 'normal' self, face not allowing ANY compromise than what she wanted despite Vera's actions to include everyone. When they were done, Vera sighed and pulled out some [sketches] of ideas she had for dresses, her attempts to meld the two traditional styles. "I figured we could look at dresses from both cultures, find likes and complementary styles of both, and mix and match." It was obvious Vera had given this idea considerable thought, and heavy importance. "I'm not worried about the specifics as much as where to put which cultural influence," Vera stated, moving back to let Fu and Mai...and Jun, if he wished...examine the pictures of full dresses, and some ideas of pieces that had come to the half-elf.
