With just two pairs left on their side against the powerful Champion, things looked grim - except for the fact they were holding up so well, especially with Seth's shadow Lugia. Hopefully it could continue holding up against Lance's pokemon... She could still hardly believe it. Will? Seriously? Oh well. They'd get him for this.
"It will. Very close," she agreed, watching the battling pokemon with another sigh. She was just standing there, not doing anything. Nothing. The helpless feeling was starting to really bother her. "I wish we could too." Another sigh. Was there really nothing they could do?

Lucas refrained from commenting, remaining quite ready for action. There was something within his abilities, but it was excessive. If the situation could be resolved without resorting to it, it would give him all the more peace of mind. The older man stared at the battles as they progressed, stone-faced and silent.

Nodding, Isadora looked around her at the battle scene. Only two pairs of the Rockets were left; all of the others were down for the count, just like her and Claire. But somehow, through some divine grace, there were only two of the Champion's Pokemon left fighting. They might actually have a chance. Imagine that.

And that was.. it.
Nadja drew a breath and held it, remembering to recall Ophion before he sank completely beneath the surface. For a long moment, she gazed up at the league's champion with an expression that was hard to read.
Then it hardened, and turned itself on the Rockets who had gone down for the count long ago.
The redhead spun on her heel and walked away from the rest of the battle, reaching with quiet deliberation for something at her side.

 Lance roll! The battle had raged for what seemed like an eternity, but now it seemed to be drawing to a close. Now Lance was definitely looking concerned. Another pair of Pokemon were returned to their balls.. and now only one was left, his Charizard. "Azrael!" Lance called to his Charizard, who landed on the ledge next to him before letting out flamethrower. He might have to make a quick get away. Nadja's movements went mostly unnoticed by Lance, but Seth was watching her closely. What was she... s**t. Seth then broke out into a run towards the red headed elite, hoping to reach her before she did anything TOO foolish. While is Tyranitar made another attack. ((This will be for Nyx and Mau's group.))

Mau was... quite impressed with Nuu today. And the drifloon knew it. She squealed in delight until the charizard came to face them.

Nyx was confident they'd win now. It was 3 against one, and they were Team Rocket. "Thunderbolt, Maxwell." Oh yes... Nyx would have her revenge. Will... Lance... Would pay for making her look bad.

Faleen turned her cold look onto Kofuku when she came over. but she made no comment,
Looking back to the fight that was down to the last of the survivors... and things looked in favor of Team Rocket.
Lance was going to lose, and then he would pay for this betrayal.

Leonard couldn't believe it. Lance only had one more Pokemon left. They might win this? He abandoned his search for the potions and commanded Seance to Shadow Claw the lone Charizard.
Wait. What was Seth doing? He took his eyes off the battle to watch him run to Nadja. And what was she doing anyway?

Kofuku's eyes hid the hurt underneath pure hatred and she shrugged at Faleen. "I'm not taking chances... you never know with battles." She ripped open the first aid pack and pulled out one of the rolls of bandages, ripping off an arm's length and shoving the remainder back into the pouch. "I'm making sure we don't let him get away, with or without pokemon."
Looking around, it only took her moments to locate a rock, and she wrapped the cloth bandage around it, knotting it and making a rather effective looking weapon.

It was slim, dark silver, a handful of concentrated force. Nadja cocked the hammer with a habitual motion, losing the noise in the sounds of battle and the click-click of her boots across the cavern floor. Seth would have to run - she was striding briskly, gray eyes fixed on the man on the ledge, calculating trajectory and aim as she drew within range, raised her arm in a fluid motion-
-and shot.

Faleen still said nothing, nor made an indication to what Kofuku was doing.
she didn't feel very capable of movement just at this moment. Anger, humiliation and other such emotions felt rather crippling.
Her eyes found the Growlithe half hidden behind Lance's cape, and there they remained, her fists clenching tightly.

Lance's eyes went wide as his Charizard, and last means of escape was taken down in front of him. The brutish Pokemon returned to his ball.
"Nadja! STOP!" Seth shouted as he reached the other elite and made a grab for her arm, yanking it down. However, the gun still fired and the bullet still pierced the air.
There was a sudden cry of pain from Lance and he went out of sight as he collapsed upon the ledge above them. The bullet having missed his head thanks to Seth, and instead was embedded in his side.
Laying there on the cold rock, the dark cave seemed to swim in his vision. Pain seering his side as his blood ran out of his body. His Growlithe was quickly at his side, wimpering. Gold eyes flickered towards her. "Komashi.. run.." he murmured, his vision starting to fade.
The Growlithe whimpered again, unsure of what to do... but she listened. However, she hesitated... eyes going to the glowing red orb. The Growlithe snatched the orb up in her maw and made a run for it after jumping off the ledge.

The battle was so close now, Lance having only one pokemon left. Alexander felt on edge as he watched the fight slowly getting closer to the end. It had been hard to see the magnificent Lugia be defeated but even with the legendary down the fight was in Team Rockets favor. Since all his concentration has been on the fight, he missed it when Nadja lifted then fired a gun, but he sure didn't miss the noise. He jerked to look with wide eyes in the direction the shot had come from. He then looked back at where Lance had stood, eyes going even wider.

In hindsight, he should've seen it coming. It was rather obvious that Nadja was pulling out a weapon. But the gunshot still shocked him. Even with the din of the battle surrounding him, the bang was loud enough to shake every bone in the body.
Leonard didn't ever notice the body falling, or the Growlithe picking up the orb. He just stared at the smoking gun with his mouth wide open.
"You... just shot the Champion?!"
