Scheelite, by now, had realized that hey he had headphones too! Unlike the others though, when he put his own and had the music blasting in his ears he didn't throw them off in disgust.
No, it simply made him sing even louder.
"ALWAAAAAAYS I WANNA......HOLY s**t STARS. OH MY GOD OHMYGODOHMYGOD GUYS. GUYSSSSS STARS, I LOVE STARS. I LOVE THIS ******** PLACE. CAN I JUST STAY HERE AND RULE IT PLEASEEEEEEEEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE."
His flailing of happiness didn't make for very good star catching, and it took a total of three grabs before he finally latched onto one but when he -did- he was latched onto it pretty good.
"MY STAR, I'MMA NAME YOU TWINKLE."
Coulda been worse. His first name for it was Tinkle.

Oh man... stars... like... star seeds, somehow the logical jump didn't seem quite as cavernous in that moment, they were as distracting and attractive as Alkaid's power.
Sadly he was too short to reach...

Gianfar was sorely disappointed in not getting a parachute, but at least he didn't seem to be as tormented by the constant song as quite a few negaverse seemed to be. Ha! What's wrong? Couldn't they tune out a little annoying music? Pansies. Gianfar chuckled to himself until he saw something shimmer in the corner of his eye, blinking and looking up toward the shooting stars. "Whoooooa..." That was amazing! They were so pretty!
He wanted them.

Hugbell blinked as stars started flying by. They were HUUUUGGGEEEE. The buttery yellow eyes that belonged to the girl grew wide, "Oh wow...." She whispered in an awed voice one arm still around Barnaby, who was a twin mattress size still for the moment, Hugbell had taken most of the hits from the ice earlier instead of letting Barnaby shrink.
She attempted to grab a star. It took her five times before she successfully grabbed a star. "I DID IT!" She cheered and looked to see where Sheldon, Sinon and Cora where. She was holding tight onto a star before trying to punch Barnaby so he'd shrink. A small star seemed to want to help and no sooner than it had collided with Barnaby he began to rapidly shrink. "Thank you~" She called after the little star.

Attempt two...not much more luck... in fact it involved quite a lot of arm waving... and cursing. Stupid stars... he turned away as though to say sour grapes and then made another lunge.

"Stupid stars!!" He told them, as though that would make them want to come closer, berating things always helped improve relations... in a negative direction. Maybe he just needed to stand on something... or someone. He grabbed at a penguin...

Gianfar reached out to grab a star, whining as it brushed past his fingers. Nooooo! He needed that! He made another grab, missing that one as well. The chivalry senshi puffed his cheeks a bit and glared at the stars. One of them would be his. They were so lovely! He wanted...no...needed; Gianfar needed a star. Finally he took off his precious hat and swiped at a passing star, making a noise of victory as he catch one. Success!

-Her eyes had been closed, hands pressed together in that prayer like state that you used when praying or when young children wished wished wished with all their might. She was wishing a rainbow slide back at home in the real world, from rooftop to rooftop.
Sailor Juno couldn't be sure whether our not her wish had been granted or laughed off, openning her eyes to see very large and magical stars dangling right out of her reach. Her fingers reached and she snagged one, pulling herself half onto it, half just bear hugging the thing. Ride um cowgirl.-
-The stars were soooo beautiful! Polaris found herself drawn back into the awe of earlier, reaching her fingers up to try and touch the stars that seemed so close. It only took a couple tries before her fingers touched it.. far more cold and tangible then she'd ever imagined.-

See? He knew his wish wouldn't come true. Maybe he was asking for a little too much, but he was pretty sure that if he'd asked for something meaningless -- like, say, a candy bar, or something equally lame and pointless -- it wouldn't have had any more of a chance of coming true.
But now there was light and warmth and shooting stars, so at least something was happening. Ganymede was most appreciative of the warmth, because this place was freaking cold. His fingers were going numb, and his lips were feeling chapped beneath the glossy lipstick he had on, and he could no longer feel his nose, and his chest! His chest was freezing!
And so he was quite happy to reach out and try to grab at the warmth with his cold fingers. He didn't even particularly mind if his feeling that something wonderful might happen ended up being false, because at least there would be warmth for a few moments. Maybe. Hopefully.
He didn't even know anymore. This world was completely insane.

Headphones now gone... her shoulders seemed suddenly lighter. Though at least that GOD AWEFUL music was out of direct contact with her ears..
"SORRY ABOUT THAT WOLF." She waved over as she saw he too flung the godawful things off.
Fayalite was disappointed she didnt get a soft pillow to land on... but a star would do! Acid pink eyes flew open at the stars. She had the ODDEST urge... she wanted to grab the star. Hug it, hold it, name it. Reaching out..she tried.

Orcas, penguins, manic singing, and so many ******** rainbows -- and now shooting stars. Ares had the dizzy feeling that she was tripping on some sort of hallucinogenic drug. The girl was not fond of losing control of herself, not ever, and so she had no prior experience to base this swelling euphoria upon. Why was she feeling so much happiness in the middle of a battle? Usually she only felt this happy when she was killing Negas, not twirling and flailing among them.
Ares had never liked mental sparring. She preferred the physical kind. In this zone, it seemed more like a battle against the zone itself, as opposed to each other. But she was here, and whether she liked it or not, Ares had sampled the kool-aid.
With a giggling grunt (was that possible?), the leader of the Blood Moon Court flung herself to the nearest star, hoping to hitch a ride to victory.
It took two tries and then there she was -- lassoing onto a star like it was her horse Taillevent and it was time for a ride. Two booted feet planted on one side, one hand gripping onto the bizarre glowing structure. Her free hand sailed above her head.
It was like she was riding a bucking bronco, actually.
***
Sailor Neso also hitched a ride on a star apparently. He sailed by screaming, "THE SNOZZBERRIES TASTE LIKE SNOZZBERRIES!" And then he sailed out of sight.

Another jump, arms flailing, he almost touched it that time, god this was almost as bad as trying to eat his way through that -cake-...
no...take that back, nothing was as bad as that cake.

For a few moments, Sailor Boreas was almost surprised at the effect that each wish had upon the world around them. Sure, this was a dream and something that was beyond the limitations and rules of the waking world, but in the fray of the race, he seemed to have forgotten that those rules no longer were true. (Even though he had just spent most of the battle running on rainbows and chasing various singing aquatic animals.)
"Well that's something new. Feels like I'm in a Kirby game! What the hell, right? Here goes!"
Making a dive for the nearest shooting star, he hoped to be able to snatch it up in one go.
