The deflected Ragana blades thudded into the earth and kept on going, not stopping until they were at least fifty feet below the dirt. Curiously, Gatz was nowhere to be seen after Void and his brethern had retreated from sight... Syn and her compaions appeared to be alone for the moment.

((Quint, I figure that right after Syn gets "ressurected", it would be a good time for you to jump in.))

*As Rayeths form entered the Phoenix's form, the totem gentle drifted to the floor. As the tail hit the ground it began to form boots then legs before slowly showing the full form of dagoth. With a feint stroke of his hand he brushed the hair out of his eyes before letting out a long yawn strech. As he returned to his normal stance the large blade and smaller katana rattled noisely as if they didnt enjoy being woken either. Dagoth blinked afew times before looking around, letting out a small dog whistle in time with his head movements he seemed completely relaxed not bothered about what was going on around him*

Where have you gone? Come here boy! We only want to play, you would like our games.

Just as easy Quint was surprised by Gatz' departure, he was shocked by Rioushu's arrival. Though Rio hadn't met this new person, it was apparent that he wanted a fight with him.

Quint sighed, but neglected to say anything to the man, instead answering Dagoth with a voice that was respectful, but confused. "Were you talking to me?"

Hmm, it isn't as dark in here as I would have expected, Gatz thought. I wonder how long I should wait in here?

... Meh, I'll wait another minute or so. It'll build suspense, he told himself with a smile.

Gatz noticed the monstrousity's focus, gave it a friendly wave in return, then discarded it from his attention. Having released all of the being(s)'s power minutes ago to cause the internal struggle Syn had faced, the chaotic entity was certain that this foe would be exhausted beyond worrying for a long time to come.

Humming gently to himself Gatz strolled around Void's garden for a bit, inspecting things. Jumping down Void's gullet hadn't been his orginal plan, but it had seemed like a good idea at the time. Seeing how Syn 'internalized' her demons bound to her had given him an inkling of where the bug swarm would wind up, so when it washed over him during his charge, he had simply let it take him along for the ride. Now he was inside of Void, who was inside of Syn.

And in a minute, he was about to bust his way out again...

"Well exccuusee me!" Quint countered, "I didn't ask to be intresting, and don't think for a moment I'm anyone's 'b***h'." A second passed before Quint pieced together Rioushu's proposal, "A deal? I don't think I do those anymore. Plus.."

He pointed back at Rio, "I'm still not done with you. I haven't forgotten about your illegal repoession of her bat!"

Now staring Rioushu down, Quint slowly flew to Roan's side, nodding mentally. "Don't worry, I was hoping that I'd have some courtside seats of a battle between two very powerful people, so I'm not upset."

A long time ago, Quint had called Gatz the most confusing person he knew. Now, with Dagoth maybe talking to Rioushu or himself, Quint ran his hand over his braids, the smooth skin on parts of his skull somewhat comforting.

"Just who are you talking to?" Quint asked again, his voice raised. If the newcomer was indeed speaking to him, Roan's assistant would have to get a few bruises before he left.

Slightly frowning, Quint floated at his position, an air of aloofness about him. Since getting the talk about keeping your cool, it seemed that the entire world was in some sort of feud, and with it being 'pointless', it'd be 'dumb' to jump into the fray, which frustrated the previously action-oriented male.

It was easy to decipher Dagoth's words to Roan, his hidden meanings only two-dimensional. If asked, Quint would tell that he was certianly nervous about his situation, the same way anyone would feel if their lives would be put in true danger for the first few times in their life.

At the same time however, it felt uplifting to be 'above' the chaos, only fighting when someone was to be really hurt, not just some random scuffle. Not simply jumping in also had its advantages in the confidence catagory. Not only can you judge the scene, but by the time you roll up your sleeves, one has a good idea of what they're getting into, making the problem easier to control.

So, instead of excersizing his jaw, Quint kept an eye open for Gatz, wherever he might be. It was certain he wasn't going to simply leave with Roan and now Dagoth running around the island. Knowing somewhat of her personality, Quint figured that he'd also come in fast, hard, and from nowhere.

It had been only a little while ago before Quint thought he wouldn't be happy for a while under Roan, but at that moment he found himself smiling, his heartrate increasing slowly. If someone, Gatz in this case, attacked Roan, Quint would be all green for fighting, and that of course was exactly what he wanted.
