The doctor ordered the security to let him go, grabbing him by the shirt, growling "Your friend has simply given up on the will to live, we did that and it had no effect, we tried to shock him back to life, it had no effect. Your friend is dead. You may go see him if you would like to, before we have to... you get the picture." He said with a frown, letting go of him and looking him in the eyes, nodding.

James ran into the room, ""Shadow... I..." he sat down in a chair, "God dammit... God dammit all..." he started sobbing on Shadow's chest, "I love you... I'm sorry. This is my fault..." he kept crying, he couldn't stop.

Shadow laid on the bed, lifeless, his eyes closed as the doctor walked into the room and sighed, looking down. There was a defibrillator next to the bed, the doctor willing to let him do what would help him cope, Shadow's lifeless body still feeling warm and soft, but lifeless.

James growled, "I didn't train as a medic for nothing..." he stood up, and he checked the chart, "Type O" he read then went to a cabinet he grabbed a handful of blood bags and a needle, he fastened the needle to his arm and started pumping the blood into him, then he grabbed the defibrillator and pressed the paddles to his chest, he turned the dial, and activated the unit. "Damn it, Live!" he did it again, then he tried CPR, and he kept going, he didn't care if he was there for weeks, he was going to save him.

Shadow twitched with each shock, the monitor still flat lining as he continued to let him try to bring him back to life, just then, the doctor saw an arctic fox and another wolf rush in, ignoring them as he continued to watch the wolf try and revive his dead bull friend.

James looked at Shadow, "Damn it! I love you Shadow! You don't have to be sorry, I forgive you!" he charged it again and tried again, "Remember? Remember when we met... and we played Rock Band and you had this voice..." he started reminiscing of their time together.
Matt watched him, and he tried to pull him away, "James, There's nothing you can..."
He didn't finish because James punched him, "NO! He can live! I know he can..."

Shadow continued to twitch with the shocks, twitching a little more with each shock to show he still had a chance to live, the doctor whimpered and looked down, feeling very sorry for the wolf.

James kept charging him, "I love you... I want you to live..." he charged him, "I want you to be happy, I want you to know that..." he charged him again, "God damn it, I forgive you, I forgive you a million times over if it means I can have you back." he charged him again, "Just for you to be back home..." he charged him again, and again, he wanted him back.

Shadow twitched more and more with each shock, the final shock restarting him. He let out a yelp and coughed out blood, looking up at James with a frown, slowly turning into the best smile he could give, "J-J-James..." He whimpered out as he let out a tear and looked up at him with his adorable smile, his eyes full of hope and happiness. The doctor looked at the bull with wide eyes, yelling out, "The bull is a-alive!" He yelled with a relieved smile, running out of the room.

James yelped, "Shadow!" he hugged him, he hugged him fiercely yet gently, "God dammit don't do that to me..." he hugged him more and gently set him down, "Doctor! Get over here!" he said, then looked back at Shadow, "I love you Shadow..." he said, with even more tears streaming down his face.

Shadow whimpered and smiled widely, "I-I love you too, James..." He said with a wide smile, cuddling into him as he hugged him. The doctors rushed in and started to take care of him, Shadow smiling widely and smiling as they fixed him up.

James stood there next to him and smiled, he didn't know what to say. He just pet Shadow's head as the doctors did their jobs.

Shadow murred as he pet him, his tail starting to sway as they fixed him up, giggling softly and giving him a wide smile as he waited for the doctors to finish up with him.

Shadow smiled at him and leaned over to him, licking his cheek and sighing, "I'm also sorry for cheating on you. I... want us to be... best friends forever. No matter what. BFFs." He said with a smile as he took his hand and smiled widely at him.
