Lips curling in disgust, Mica decided it would be wise to make her exit while the Senshi squabbled over the crystal. It didn’t look like she’d be able to get her hands on it, and once the crystal was firmly in someone’s possession… well, the Senshi would probably notice that they outnumbered the present Negaverse agents.
As Mica jogged away from the dogpile on the crystal, Mica noticed a vaguely familiar face, and one that had seen better days. The loud-mouthed Lieutenant was beaten all to hell. One of the main reason Mica had been recruited was for her skills as a medic, something the Queen had made quite clear. She wouldn’t leave such an injured teammate behind.
“ Can you walk?” She asked, eyeing Chromite as she came to stand beside her.

No. No no no. He felt it before he saw it. The grip on his arm. He'd missed the crystal. he'd missed his chance. The image of the heavenly queen Serenity faded as Blue eyes turned in time to see what his fate would be. The claw had found his arm, and he'd seen what it could do, what it had resting in the palm. But as bad as such a soon to be fate was, the smile of the tiny agent in black and green was one Castor didn't want to see. Wolframite. The agent whose eye he's taken out. The one with the blade that dug into his side. A menace and and nuisance. Blue eyes narrowed as ears caught the words. A fist crashed into his jaw, and pain and white filled his senses. Gravity took him to the glass and snow and ice. More cuts that stung and bled on the earth. But he didn't have time to think about it. He didn't have the luxury to think about it. Tanz was near, He was prone now. A whisper under his breath as one ice covered fist sailed upwards towards where he last seen the purple haired harpy.

His arm was still numb from where the self-proclaimed princess had grabbed him earlier. Sailor Merope rubbed his arm in an attempt to dispell the icy touch that still lingered, now that the battle was over. He felt like a wreck -- every nerve in him ached, and all he wanted right now was a warm shower followed by some quality time with a heating pad.
But he couldn't stop, not yet.
The senshi of rogue waves moved forward, joining in with the numerous other senshi striving to get ahold of the crystal.

“Thank you, Wolframite,” the Captain said, dragging her bone-thin frame to a standing position. She spit out a mouthful of blood to one side, and grinned wildly as his fist collided with Castor's face. She watched as the senshi hit the ground, but didn't attempt to dodge his attack. His fist collided with her face, and though she could feel the coppery taste of blood returning to her mouth anew, she smiled against the frigid fist... because he was close. Her human hand grabbed for his hair, as though to hold him close, and the youma's eager hand searched for his chest.
There, it would do the unimaginable as it slipped harmlessly through, searching out his star seed.
Tanzanite laughed. She threw her head back, and the sound that tore from her throat was nothing short of cruel. She pulled him close, and whispered soft in his ear.
“What did you think, Castor,” she hissed, a pause filled by that horrible laughter, “That it would be you? It can never be you.”
Her eyes met with Wolframite's and the unspoken request passed between them: hold him.

When her attack failed she dove down, despite her exhausted body grasping for the crystal, she could feel it within her reach, she was so close. This had been what she and Arisone had been talking about.
If they had the crystal they had the power.
Or at least an opportunity to have power. If they had one, then they could retrieve the others and Denebola'd be damned if she let it slip through her grasp again.

The fist recalled painful memories, and his body tensed at the sight of Castor's ice-encased fist. It was that very weapon that had came at him and destroyed his vision. The memory of that pain and loss was still fresh after all this time. It had only been recently that he had gotten his fake eye, but his uniform still held the patch. Still showed what he was clearly missing. No one would doubt that it was gone as long as he was in uniform. Out of it, people just wondered or kept quiet about it. They heard rumors and would try to stare in the most polite way possibly to see if they could tell.
It was that fist that made him almost shove Tanzanite aside to save her, but the woman made no attempt to move. She only bared her chin and let it come. The very action shocked and amazed him, and he held his break, expecting a broken jaw or – as old memories of so many dead captains and lieutenants haunted him from the past – that the purple-haired captain would be killed in a spray of blood and brains.
Instead, her chin was cut, but her jaw remained. Her teeth were all in their place, and the grin was still planted on her face. Not skipping a beat, she reached out and took the other senshi, and pulling his hair back as if she would let her youma arm just tear out his throat (as Wolframite knew it could from being there at the Doom Tree), she instead reached in.
Wolfram's heart stopped a moment, and he held his breath. The Starseed. Castor's Starseed. He had hungered for it and felt his fingertips twitch as he watched her hand dive in. He could only imagine the searching, the emptiness before the reward of touching the gem inside the senshi. Ohhhh, how he had wanted that. He could only imagine it, and as he watched, a hungry, feral eye watching as if he was a starving wolf seeing another tear into a kicking doe, he cheered her on. Find it. Reach in and take it once and for all. As much as he wanted it for his own, he instead lived through Tanzanite and urged her to continue.
As he stood beside her, looking down, he stood at attention when she looked up at him, and without a word, her brilliant, purple eyes spoke to him. With a short nod, he lowered and took the senshi's arms, firmly planting them on the cold, snow-covered ground. With his fight with Kaguya, he had long since grown numb, but inside, he felt excitement. Up close, he looked down at Tanzanite worked to grab the starseed, and at the same time, watched Castor. There he watched for every twitch of a changed expression or jerk of his body that he could feel through his firmly-clamped hands. With all his force, he held the boy down.

(( Congratulations, Sailor Pegasus!! ))Even with the boss defeated, the action wasn't quite over. Crystals were a hot commodity, and there was one right in the epicenter of the events that had unfolded, just waiting for someone to take it. Of course people made a grab for it. Even though everyone was tired beyond belief, and colder than they had ever thought they could possibly be, it was impossible resist... unlike the falsehood that was behind the snowglobes, a Rainbow Crystal possessed a siren call that rang sincere and true to anyone who was around to hear it. So, through the commotion that followed the Crystal being freed from the grasp of that terrible ice witch, they all had forgotten something. They all had overlooked one small, but very obvious detail about the demon they had just slain. Snow Princess Kaguya had two eyes. This meant two Crystals. The second one, vibrantly azure in hue, had innocuously landed in the snow a few yards away. However, its energy signature meant that it wouldn't stay ignored for too long... This Rainbow Crystal is for anyone who participated, INCLUDING CIVILIANS! YOU CAN ONLY ROLL YOU HAVE POSTED AT LEAST ONE BATTLE ACTION IN THIS EVENT. Please don't post if your character hadn't tried to fight the boss! You can only roll with ONE CHARACTER. Choose wisely! Granted you meet the criteria above... ROLL ONE 100-SIDED DIE TO MAKE A GRAB FOR THE CRYSTAL! YOU HAVE UNTIL 11AM CST TO MAKE YOUR ROLL

There was another crystal. Pegasus had gotten the first crystal, thank goodness, but there was a second one in the snow. It was too far from Pomona - others were much closer - and while she hated the thought of civilians being caught in the crossfire...
" Pomona Pepper Poppers!"
... at least her attack might slow down some of the Negas while leaving her fellow Senshi untouched. It was crucial that this crystal also be captured by a Senshi.

There was that darkness inside of him again, that place Castor reached into as he forced his mind to ready himself to kill. Looking into gray eyes he knew before he felt it. He could die. Even as he was more powerful then him, he could die. A million thoughts poured into his mind. Marlo. Simon. Elke. Eve. Sorrin. Parker. Audrey. Audrey. Gray eyes wild and colder then any ice, and storm bore into his deep blue. The words held power but the senshi wanted to laugh them off anyway. She would never win. They would never win. They couldn't. They- Shock was openly exposed as he felt it happen. The familiar feeling of his starseed being touched. Only this time- something was wrong. They were not pulling. It was-
Screaming, his right hand broke free of Wolfy's grasp as the crystal sailed by. Ice was still covering his hand. He wanted Tanz off. He needed her off. He couldn't die. Not unless he could take her with him. Panting like a beast, hate, rage, and desperation clung to Castor as he kept a chant rolling in his head. "Crush her skull, kill her dead, kill Tanzanite.' That dark park of him sarcastically echoed in a morbidly sing song way: "Squish her head."
He wouldn't die. Not without taking her with him.

Denebola swore she felt the tips of her fingers graze the crystal she missed and was sent tumbling into the ground. She had the sense to tuck and roll just in time and was sent tumbling to her feet. She grasped a handful of snow in anger, despite the cold, unaware that she could hardly feel anything at this point.
It wasn't until she felt the energy signature that her head snapped up and her dual-colored eyes darted back and forth. There! She found it!
She sprinted forward pulling energy out of the air, it was pure adrenaline that was keeping her going and it would be that adrenaline that would lead her to the crystal before she dove forward desperate to snatch up the blue gem.

Braden MacCrimmon was a coward... Who had forgotten his scarf. It wasn't so much that he wanted it, but it was one he had unwittingly borrowed from his father and well. Yeah. It would have been bad to have to explain what had happened. 'Oh, I watched a bunch of terrorists fight an ice demon and in my haste to get away forgot your scarf next to a trash bin at Town Square.' ... Because that would go over so well.
So he was shocked to find that as he got back to "the action" it wasn't action so much as a pile of people worming after something falling. A something that glinted in the hands of a red-head in skirt and bows after a very fascinating catch out of nowhere. He couldn't help but cheer her on a little in his head- Braden knew nothing of the politics around Destiny City lately but he knew an awesome move when he saw one.
It was then that a second, harder to spot against the dark of the night, royal blue gem fell. It looked as though it was coming straight for him- So with all the pent up expectation and joy of a boy catching his first home run he held out his hand and waiting for the shining jewel to land in his open palm.
It didn't.

As Algol began to exit, Hestia quickly began to follow. Certain things were more important than...well...whatever this was. And the number one important thing on her list was about to leave. Giving the scene one last glance she did a quick double take...that was....that was...
That was the perfect gift for Miss Algol!
"I'll be with you in one moment, Miss!" The senshi's eyes narrowed and the atmosphere around her charged and shifted to the focused intensity of a last-minute shopper.

Did someone grab it? Sailor Merope frowned, shaking his right hand from where the princess' ice still clung to it. But there was something that made him stop and look around wildly -- the power was still there. As others moved towards it, so did Merope.
As he neared the crystal, Merope made to grab it before something else caught his eye. "Move! MOVE!" Merope snarled, snatching his hand back from the azure crystal before he began shoving aside both senshi, civillian, and negaverser alike to move towards the sounds of the screams. Castor! He didn't know the senshi that well. At most, he has only ever spoken to the eternal senshi one or twice, nothing more then that. His unfamiliarity with him didn't matter, not with Tanzanite's hand plunged into his chest.
Shoving, kicking, and elbowing people aside, Merope ran as fast as he could towards the trio. "HEY! We need some back up here!"
