Cyrilla had thanked Mei for the congratulations, and nodded at the leviathan as he troublesomely spoke with a wreath in his mouth. She got the jist of it though. He wanted to get the jack out of dodge. She was completely down with that.
Heading down the path, there seemed to be a good number of other students around. Some of them she didn't recognize from the Ickis car, and a good lot that she did.
Another Chuck-in-a-box had made an appearance to another ghoul. She was relieved it hadn't come near herself, or her traveling companions. She'd had more than enough of her fill of that crazy.
No thank you. The green dracolich shuddered involuntarily.
"So, what do you guys think this Sandy Claws is really like anyways? I mean, we're off to raid his workshop... do we even have any idea what the jack we're really getting into here?"

I think I'm just biased over the gaudiness of this festive flotsam. Thanksgiving does not insult the senses with red, and green, she paused at Jericho's addition to the conversation, and then added OR PINK. Yes. That would be quite worse than our current predicament, though not by much.
She rested her head on Jericho's neck and laughed. See? Jericho likes the idea. We'll swoop in and claim Thanksgiving for our very own, ritualistically burning the bodies of it's denizens while we chop of the heads of turkeys and crack open their skulls.
She said this with a light, airy tone, as if she was talking about knitting a sweater for a family friend.
Well, she sighed in resignation. We'll do with what we have. I'm still unclear as to how exactly we're going to take down Sandy Claws, but it shall be exhilirating to try.

Julian had gotten the hint, at least in part, but he was still a little worried. He hop-walked under the wing, deciding he'd be a fool to turn down the offer of warmth. Unable to resist, he nipped lightly at her and gave her a short, reassuring twitter. He snuggled close, geez she really was warm in this weather. Of course, he wasn't an owl-popsicle either, but he wasn't particularly warm. It felt incredibly awkward to be like this, but he folded his wings at his sides and tucked his legs up regardless.
He should be moving on, but then he couldn't really carry his tent like this and he was not about to leave Tahki behind, even if she was alright.
He looked up at the other demoness nearby, who'd traveled with them. He remembered her from one of his classes, didn't her father own a store or something? She'd patted Tahki a lot... He hoped she wouldn't get it in her head that he needed pats too. He shifted closer to Tahki, eyes narrowing not in anger, but to look half-closed, sleepy. Surely one knew not to touch a sleepy bird of prey, right?

Nuk snickered both at Shehk and Sammy, clearly thoroughly entertained by the situation. Especially when the girl beneath him subtly hinted that she'd kiss him, his eyebrows lifting at the almost-invitation. Had he known what she was thinking, about the 'angry-balance' thing, he also would have agreed whole-heartedly -- he thought it was cute when she was mad. "Hey, you were asking for it, whispering in his ear like that, all romantic and seductive like that. Better watch out, people might think you actually like me or something~" he teased, flicking his hair out of his eyes as he lifted his head again, staring drolly in Sammy's direction. "Alright, alright," he finally replied, rolling off the pricolici and reaching down to take her hand, helping her up, "but do I really have to take Junior? You aren't, like, afraid I'm gonna drop it or anything?"
Of course, he wouldn't REALLY drop the pumpkin, but he found hinting that he might was an effective way to get out of things.
Glancing around with mild interest, Nuk sighed a little, noting Riley and Jericho and Malodore up ahead a little, not too far off. Seemed Sammy'd made some easy friends too, which was good. He liked that the Zombie was 'in their group' now. He also liked the idea that they were moderately close to the finish. This game was starting to suck, he was tired of walking towards somewhere that he didn't know what was going on and stuff and things. Even the thought made the skinwalker growl under his breath, noticeably annoyed for half a second.

Nodding in agreement to the girls, Jericho shuddered again at the thought of how Valentine-Land might look like. Here, the colors weren't too bad, especially since he enjoyed the color red a fair amount personally. But the decor was just a little over the top as Riley had said.
"Sounds like a plan. I feel that once we're through here I'm going to need a feast to stave off this hunger I've been building up," he added, somewhat grumpily.
"As for Sandy Claws, we'll pummel him into the ground. He might be the head honcho here but he probably can't hold a candle to us!"
Was he confident? Maybe just a little.

Malodore, delayed by its post-mortem examination of the chuck-in-the-box, only just caught up to Riley, Jericho, and company. "No more attacks, I hope?" it asked, mildly, while it finished committing a rough schematic of the box's innards to memory.

"My only thought is turkey brains are small, simple, and hardly filling. You need a full head of a person to REALLY get a good meal out of it. Though if you pool them for a stew I might be interested. Also Thanksgiving at least sports the proper reds oranges and dark colors. They could ALMOST pass as being Halloween. As for Sandy? Kick his jaw in, worked on a tree, it'll work on him." She couldn't help but grin and offer the dragon a thumbs up, "That's the spirit, a good ol pounding."
Turning back to Nuk and Shehk she rolled her eyes with a smirk, always the same with those two. "Yes, your taking Junior so I can do my school work. You wouldn't know what that is since you like sleeping during most of the homework assignments. Well, minus this one, I'll knock you one good if you slack on this one."
She was indeed glad to be among friends, old and new now. It had been a pain to get this far, but she was sure with the group she found herself among they would be able to handle anything that came at them.

Shehk had returned the slight eyebrow-lift to Nuk at her almost-invitation, but beyond that had not acted on her maybe-offer-to-kiss-him. He'd already gotten -one- kiss, technically, so there was no reason for her to spoil him. Or spoil herself. Hmmmm. "Oh please. What is there for me to like in you?" she retorted once she was up on her feet, pausing to look at his partially transformed arm with a bit of pity.
Her poor poor skinwalker. The Pricolici reached over to brush her fingers against the fur of that limb.. before she realized that it was really warm. Oh baby! Clearly, Nukpana was just lucky there were no fire-elementals about to steal her warmth-desires away from him, as she was quick to just sidle on up next to him. She did, however, seem to baffle over just how mobile that arm could possibly be, feeling at it cautiously and even seeming to ponder if she should just hold onto it for the best heat-leeching possible.
HEAT LEECHING.
FOREVER.
Though she did lean over to whisper more to the skinwalker, even after his warning about how she may just look like she -liked- him or something, grinning slyly. Though her grin would never really top that grin Nukpana would get on his face. She wasn't -that- sneaky, apparently. She'd have to practice.
"Too bad nobody has attacked you yet. Means I can't cheer for you." she teased, before sighing, seeming to be feeling better than her comparative day before with the constant transformations. Yayyy stability! Though for how long was questionable.

Sammy's statement reminded her of that meal on the train, that tiny, tiny frog brain, and her lovely ideas of taking over Thanksgiving Town deflated slightly.
Well, there's always the pilgrims.
She gave Jericho a sly look, and shook her head. Maybe you will be able to pummel him to the ground, my large and fearsome friend. I don't know how effective I will be, unless you vault me directly at his head. Then.. perhaps.. no, I don't think I'd like to consume jolly fat man brains. I'm trying to keep my figure. She could hardly keep in her laughter.
When Malodore caught up with them, she turned her head to look back. Malodore, she called out. I have a gift for you.

It wasn't till Shehk was up that she noticed Nuk's arm, it looked horrible honestly, something between his two forms. She had never seen something like that and it wasn't at all pleasing for comprehending. She thought she had it bad getting tired like a normal ghoul, it seemed other students had it much worse.
"Pilgrims could work, and we can collect the buckles for the treasure pile right?" She laughed as they all continued to gather again waving Malodore over to join them more closely. "Oh please, I'll have him crushed before your friend can even toss you. Speakin of which, oie! Dragon my names Sammy, I don't think I caught yours!"

Christof was still hobbling backward away from Sin and her closing cluster of friends, his face red as a beet (In patches) and as he turned, he caught sight of Lizzy and Amrita not too far away. Had... had they seen what a dope he had made of himself? What was this, Valentine Town? Suddenly that weird feeling of someone else's thoughts tickled the edge of his own and the concept of OTHER Holiday towns rose up and... destroying them... well yes, he was having a terrible time here and all, but there was no need to wage war... Maybe he was going crazy.
He realized his scarf had fallen from his face, betraying his miserable frown and he quickly tightened it up over his reddened nose as he rejoined them, sure to keep his sloped back to the shifting party.

Grinning, Jericho let out a hearty chuckle, "Well, without access to FEAR and the like, there isn't much else I could do aside from laying the smackdown personally."
At the mention of shinies, Jericho glanced back at the undead girl, liking the idea of the Thanksgiving raid even more. It was true.. in the stories he had heard of Thanksgiving, the pilgrims had plenty of shiny gold buckles here and there. And since the land was bound to be flooded with the creatures, he'd probably amount a nice pile by the time they were through.
"Ah! Jericho's the name," he said in return.

When Christof was nearer, Lizzy grinned at him, her eyes screaming 'WELL DONE, GOOD JOB' as she flashed him a thumbs-up. Of course, his distress was not lost to her as she meant it all as an encouragement - how the boil sees her actions, however, might be an entirely different story. Either way, the Spider Demoness waved for the hunchback to follow; they were already walking away from where Sin and her group were.
"You know, our silk is rather useful for lots of things... Like leg repair, for example," She stroked her chin was her free hand as she giggled, "I think it'll be a good reward for being brave about your feelings for Sin!"
It wasn't easy to produce a large quantity of silk - and her mother had always told her about guarding whatever they have... Still, there's a reason why she always carried a spool of it around! Besides, now that her FEAR was not working, the spider silk is just spider silk... It wouldn't really help in a battle at all. Whipping the spool out, she snipped off a metre or so before rolling it up and handing it to the hunchback, "In case you wish to try stitching again."
She smiled; she would help this hero of love!
[In case you were wondering, look at her art - you see that spool of something peeking out from behind her? Yeah, its spider silk/thread of the non-FEAR imbued variety. >.>;]

Sepheran honestly did not know exactly how it happened, but somehow he ended up following an odd group. He sort of stuck to the edge of the group a bit keeping quiet and minding his own business. He didn't hear any voices that belonged to those in his car, but he also wasn't about to just wander off on his own. He truly wouldn't stand a chance then. But he did figure that if he followed this particular group long enough surely he'd come across his fellow Oblina car mates. And so the basilisk continued to follow this odd group as they spoke about Sandy Claws and something about silk? What and odd bunch indeed...but he kinda liked that.

Malodore perked up a bit at that. "A gift? How kind of you." It sped up slightly (though still moving with decorum, naturally) until it walked alongside Riley and her mount. "I believe I have made a thorough catalog of the box-toy's inner workings."
