"....Fire?" Jari asked, before his and Kagu's necks were both grabbed by the backs.

Fuma lifted them up and away from his armor and knocked their heads together.
"ENOUGH TINKERING IN MY BODY..."

"The ******** was that for, Mister Hallow?"
"That, or our little spirit is busy killing her." Amaya mused with an smirk.

It was at that moment, Akari screamed else where in the forest.
"Ohh.. Too bad. Sounds like you're losing your meal tonight."

"Perhaps I should start going through YOU and see how much you like-" Fuma stopped, hearing the scream.
Out of either instinct or something else, he dropped Jari and Kagu and sprinted toward the scream.

Rather than running off to help as Fuma had done so quickly, Kagu just floated in the air where she had been released, watching him leave with curiosity.
"I see he didn't drop his need to save damsels." She mused with a smile.
"My money says she's dead!" Amaya laughed as she followed after Yuki, since no doubt Akari found the troublesome spirtt.
Sure enough, the Archei had stumbled upon Akari, and was not happy to see the living woman.
Weaponless, Akari was helpless at the violent spirit threw her around the forest, trying to weaken the girl as her fingers grew in length and sharpness.

"Eh, what do you expect..?" Jari shrugged.
Fuma barreled through the forest, not stopping. It helped that he didn't need air, or have lungs anymore. Not breathing was the first thing to throw him for a loop..
After awhile, he finally found where the Archei and Akari were.
He continued to run toward them, knowing full-well he had no weapons to draw.
"HEY!" he barked towards the Archei.
"Look at me, ya little brat!"

"He does realize that being a husk makes him a tad unavailable... Right?"
As the Archei was running it's claws up Akari's abdomen, it spun its head around to glare at Fuma. He wasn't human, that was plain to see for another spirit.
She growled at him before launching out at him, clawing at him just the same. While he may have been a bigger spirit, he was weaponless...
Luckily, Akari's held up. She gave a sigh when the spirit left her and took a moment to look down at herself. Her armor was heavily beaten and she was left with scratches and cuts, but she was alive.

Fuma took the attacks, before grabbing the Archei and pinning it to a tree.
"Go ahead, brat. Do aaaaall you want." he grunted, actually feeling the claws hit him.
